Introduction

Minister:

To give aid: Serve. This manual is designed to teach Christian ministers how to give aid to those in need, and to provide the tools necessary to properly administer the biblical principles of becoming a servant as recorded by Matthew.

Matthew 28:19­20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

And viewed from the ambassadorship angle, since we are emissaries of His peace.

2 Corinthians 5:18 “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:” NIV

The principles that we will teach here, are to be applied first of all to oneself (you cannot give that which you do not possess), and then to others. Once you have received the Lord’s aid, then Lord will bring to you those in need for you to aid.

Here is a basic but powerful outline of the ministry to which we are called.

Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
