Top of Page GOD'S COVENANT WITH DAY AND NIGHT Jeremiah 33:20-21 “Thus says the Lord: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.’” God’s covenant with the day and God’s covenant with the night are symbolic of the duality of God’s covenant with David and with his descendants forever. What I mean is that one part of the covenant is unconditional, that is what the light of day stands for, and is God’s part to fulfill in the and is God’s part to fulfill in the covenant; the other part is conditional, and that is what the darkness of night stand for, and that is David’s descendants part to fulfill. In other words, the one covenant is extended to cover two family lines; Abraham’s and David’s. Jeremiah 33:24 “Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.” What prompted God to mention that His obligation to the covenant was unbreakable was that they were questioning God’s commitment to His part of the covenant, because Jeremiah was prophesying the demise of the city of Jerusalem to the Babylonians. In their thinking, if there is no kingdom then there is no king. They failed to understand that God still reigns even after David’s descendants failed to keep their part of the covenant and suffered the consequences of their rebellion. Jeremiah 33:25-26 “Thus says the Lord: ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth, then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’” Here God is establishing once more that His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is unbreakable, and that His choice of David and his family line to be rulers over the patriarchs descendants forever, is just as unbreakable. Then He adds, that they will be a nation again, for I will have mercy on them. “And with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.” Also notice that God’s covenant with David included the Levites and the priests that minister before God. God’s ultimate goal was to create a kingdom of priests, of which both Abraham and David are types! Revelation 1:6 “And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Abraham had a choice being the first. In Genesis 14:16-24 we find that after defeating king Chedorlaomer to rescue Lot who had been taken captive, Abraham arrived in the King’s Valley and was met by Melchizedek king of Salem, who offered him bread and wine, for he was priest of God Most High. Those verses are full of types that we need to understand if we want to understand the nature of God’s covenant. In the original creation of man, Adam was both king and priest. A king as defined by my biblical understanding is one who exercises authority over the physical realm, and a priest as one who exercises authority over the spiritual realm. Because of the rebellion at the tower of Babel, God separated those powers when He confused the languages, and from that time on, rulers (kings) had to depend on priests for spiritual counsel and understanding. King Saul was immediately rejected by God according to the prophet Samuel, when Saul took it upon himself to offer sacrifices, which is the assignment and ministry of the priesthood and not the king. Abraham understood this principle and when he arrived in the Kings Valley he understood the significance. He had just defeated a consortium of kings and had now become as one of the kings. He was met by none other than God’s King-Priest Melchizedek and offered a choice. A this time Abraham owned all the spoils that were taken from Sodom where Lot lived, plus the spoils that belonged to the other kings. The future of Abraham’s ministry hanged in the balance, would he become ruler of man or priest of God? Genesis 14:18-20 “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: ‘Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.’ And he (Abraham) gave him (Melchizedek) a tithe of all.” Immediately Abraham proceeded to renounce any association with the kings of the valley, even refusing to take any of the goods that he had captured, except for the offering that he gave as a tithe to God Most High. In essence the actions of Abraham were to reject the physical benefits of kingship, for the more enduring qualities of the priesthood and God’s favor in spiritual matters. So it is that in the next chapter God enters into an unbreakable covenant with Abraham and the priesthood to which he is called, where eventually Abraham is required to offer God Isaac his son of promise as a burnt offering, that act of faith establishes Abraham as the father of all the faithful, as he uttered those immortal words: God will provide for Himself a Lamb. 1 Kings 9:5 “Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ‘You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’” The two families, Abraham’s and David’s, symbolized the two components of the covenant, Priest and King, of which Jesus’ ministry is the fulfillment thereof. Matthew’s genealogy makes it clear that Jesus is a direct descendant of Abraham who offered tithes to Melchizedek, and His claim to the throne of David comes through His mother, Mary’s line, since Joseph’s line had been cursed. Hebrews 5:5-6 “So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was said to Him: ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’ As He also says in another place: ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” After Jesus came out of the water, from His baptism, God’s voice spoke from heaven saying: This is My beloved Son...Matthew 3:17 confirming that Jesus fulfills both ministries, He is King and Priest. 1 Kings 9:6-7 “But if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do no keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight…” So that even if the descendants of David that sat on the throne failed to meet the conditions required of them in the covenant, to keep God’s commandments and statutes, and because of that, the nation of Israel being removed and cut off from the land, God’s covenant is not nullified. Jeremiah 33:11 “The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: ‘Praise the Lord of Hosts, for the Lord is good, for His mercy endures forever—and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,’ says the Lord.” Jesus our High Priest offers the sacrifice of praise into the house of our Lord day and night in our behalf, while Jesus our King and Redeemer builds His church and rebuilds the nation of Israel by His mighty power to be established forever according to the covenant. Now there is another mystery attached to God’s covenant with the day and the night which takes place in the middle of the seven years wrath of God, when the abomination that causes desolation is revealed. Matthew 24:15-16 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” God’s Two Witnesses in Revelation represent the two families in God’s covenant, Israel and the church. And since the days of David either or both have not failed to have representation here on the earth as God’s ambassadors to the world, even during the dispersion of Israel or during the dark days of the church age, there has always been a faithful remnant to represent them. But when these Two Witnesses are killed, it means that the dispensations of Grace and Law are completed, as far as their physical responsibilities here on earth is concerned. So there will not be a representative from either one left on the earth at that time. That is what the abomination of desolation means, the throne of David is vacated until Jesus returns to the earth three and one half years later to begin His one thousand years reign. Zechariah 14:5/7 “Then you shall flee (when you see the abomination of desolation taking place)...It shall be one day which is known to the Lord—neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen that it will be light.” Isn’t it amazing! As the antichrist, who has just killed the Two Witnesses, begins to take control over the earth, and the throne of David is empty since God’s promised to have one of his descendants rule over it has been completed, immediately God’s covenant with the day and night in their season is abrogated as evening fails to come at its appointed time. Daniel 11:31 “And forces shall be mustered by him (the antichrist), and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.” Not only is the covenant with David completed for the present time, but also the covenant with the Levites and priests that minister before the Lord as they take the daily sacrifices away. I wrote this lesson in the hope that the readers will come to appreciate how awesome and how perfect the Word of God is! How everything in the Bible is powerfully connected, and how trustworthy God’s covenant with us is. There should be no doubt in our minds as to the commitment of God to bring about our full redemption in His time. Amen! - SALVATION INTO THE UTTERMOST | HoFM
Top of Page SALVATION INTO THE UTTERMOST Hebrews 7:24-25 “But He (Jesus), because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” In verse twenty five we find one of the most powerful statements in regards to why there is an end of times coming soon. The problem with humanity is that for some reason we just keep dying off. Man’s dream of living in a manmade utopia is always shattered by that inconvenient little thing we call death. No matter how hard religion works to perfect its patrons, by the time they seem to be getting the hang of true religion, they die. No matter how many laws politicians enact, they cannot abolish death. It does not matter how many new drugs science discovers, they cannot cure death. If religion, science, government, and whatever else we try cannot remove man’s mortal enemy, death, then what can? That is the question that Hebrews chapter seven answers. Jesus is the antidote for death because He is the only perfect human, He always lives and His life continues forever. Why is Jesus coming back? To eradicate death! But before He comes we need to understand that eternity has to be a perfect place with perfect people if it is going to be a happy place. Imagine an eternity with lawless people living with no fear of death, a place where they can commit the most horrific acts against other humans over and over and not be held accountable for their deeds, is not that what hell would be like? He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him: What does it mean by uttermost? Completely and/or forever! If eternity is going to be perfect, it has to be made not only of people that are perfect but of people that will always be perfect, after all, if we live in an eternity out of which we can be kicked out of, it would not be a happy eternity for those who get kicked out, or for those who live in fear of being kicked out. Are we, flawed humans, going to become perfect? That depends on whether we pass life’s test or not. But before I tell you about the test of life, let me tell you this, all humans are going to live forever in their physically resurrected human bodies, whether they like it or not. Their final destination will depend on this and this alone: Jesus and what they believe He is to them! Jesus has been appointed by God to be the intermediary between man and God forever. That is why Jesus has the first perfect and eternal human body, so that He can speak to God on behalf of fallen man. Jesus always lives to make intercession between as and God forever, without Jesus there is no happy eternity for any man. Hebrews 7:22 “By so much more Jesus has become a surety (guarantee) of a better covenant.” But before eternity can be ushered in death has to be destroyed forever, and before death is destroyed forever, mankind has to take life’s final test. Those who pass the test graduate into a new and eternal reality of happiness and bliss, and those who fail the test are discarded into an eternal reality of doom and gloom forever. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” In between, before the final global test is administered, we are personally required to pass the test individually before our time to taste of the elixir of death comes. Now, notice how He says, because you kept My command to persevere, persevere on what? His Word, He told those who are alive before the final test begins, because you have kept My Word and have not denied My name I will keep you from the hour of testing, meaning they had already passed the test. Revelation 3:8 “I know your works. See, I have set before an open door (of escape), and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My name.” What power is it that is in the Word of God and in the name of Jesus that is able to save us and to keep us safe forever? Hebrew 7:16 “Who has come (Jesus the Word made flesh), not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless (human) life.” Why do we have to pass a test before we die? Death is the door that leads all humans into eternity, but before we graduate into eternity, we have to choose which eternity we want to enter into; because into whatever eternity we enter, into that eternity we will stay forever; heaven is good, hell is bad and there is no in between. Now in order for us to enter the heavenly eternity, we have to realize that our fallen nature has to be changed, for nothing that’s flawed can enter the heavenly eternity; but I am flawed, you may say, and you would be right, because that’s exactly what the Word of God says about us: 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” But then, what gives? 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Here is the test; since I’ve confessed all my sins before God in the name of Jesus, almost thirty seven years ago, I have had to trust His Word that says that He forgave me all my sins, past, present, and future, and I have had to trust His Word that says that He has cleansed me from all my unrighteousness, in the face of all my many failings during all those years, and I have had to endure patiently, by faith believing that what He says trumps the way that I feel about my mortal condition. But if in any of those years had Jesus asked me, do you want to remain the same or do you want me to change you? My answer would have been immediate and certain as it would be today; change me Lord, I don’t want to sin anymore, please take all my sins away. So that if I would have died, I would have died in faith that His grace was sufficient for me, and my longings for true righteousness He would have immediately fulfilled upon my entering eternity in accordance with His promises. Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” The test is all about trust, who do we trust? Our human condition or God’s promises, let me give you a hint if you struggle with this, it is because it has to do with what is really real in your heart. Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” A pure heart begins with the reality of how worthless and how wicked we really are deep within. Our potential for wickedness is without measure, for as the Word of God declares, the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it? But God knows it, and He wants to replace our wicked heart with the heart of love that Jesus demonstrated for us, that while we were yet sinners Christ died of us. It is that remarkable revelation that Jesus loves me to the uttermost that sustains me. He will never quit on me, and I will never give up my trusting in Him and in all of the precious promises found in His Word. He is my High Priest, His continuous intercession before God Most High on my behalf is never ending, and when this body of mine is finally made perfect, through the rapture if I am alive at His return, or in the resurrection if I am in the sleep of death before He comes, I will never ever cease to worship Him and declare His faithfulness to me before all the creation. And in the here and now, whether by word or thought, I do not cease to thank Him and praise Him, for He is my life and the sustainer of it. Outside of Him I have nothing, without Him I am nothing, and in the absence of His promises in my life I have the expectation of nothing good. 1 Timothy 1:17 “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

Praise ye the Lord.” And Heavenly Father, I bless the LGBTQ+, black lives matters, wokeism, green earth, false ideologies that are not Biblical, and anyone who supports such ideologies with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I pray for the LGBTQ+, black lives matters, wokeism, green earth, false ideologies that are not Biblical, and anyone who supports such ideologies, are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I take back the LGBTQ+, black lives matters, wokeism, green earth, false ideologies that are not Biblical, and anyone who supports such ideologies and atone on their behalf by saying the following: I stand in their shoes and lift their hands and my hands to the Heavenly Father saying, Lord, forgive us our sins, come into our hearts, and be our Lord and Savior as Romans 10:9 KJV says “9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” For I choose to believe on behalf of the LGBTQ+, black lives matters, wokeism, green earth, false ideologies that are not Biblical, and anyone who supports such ideologies in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the Living God. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! - THE EYES OF FAITH | HoFM
Top of Page THE EYES OF FAITH Psalm 119:18 “Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” If there were three facets to faith they would be, hearing, seeing, and understanding. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, but what if we do not understand what it is that we are hearing? It helps if we can see what it is that we are hearing. But even then, if we do not recognize what it is that we are hearing and seeing, then our understanding is still unfruitful. So that faith works something like this: when we read a promise from the Word of God, we hear it, and we know that we heard it because we were able to picture its fulfillment in our mind’s eye, so that we fully understand the fullness of the promise and what it entails. Ephesians 1:8-9 “Which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence (understanding), having made known to us the mystery (He revealed to us that which we could not see at first) of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself.” That is exactly what the Psalmist was praying for in our opening text, he was praying that God would reveal to him the wondrous things that are hidden in the promises of God from our natural human eyes, for the Psalmist believed that by seeing them through the eyes of faith that he would have a better grasp to understanding the promises and receiving their fulfillment in his own life. The enemy of faith is the world! Let me explain: 1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide (remain) faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” In the letter to the Hebrews God promises that He is going to shake everything in heaven and earth that can be shaken, so that the only things that remain after the shaking would be those things which are eternal. Hebrews 12:26-27 “Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.’ Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” So that after all it is said and done and the final shaking comes, faith will still be standing, that is the faith that is based on the things which are eternal, for all the things which are made will one day be removed. 1 John 2:17 “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” Faith that is interdependent of things which are made is not real faith, but a counterfeit, and it will not suffice in the hour of testing. Real faith sees the futility of man-made theories and teachings and rejects them outright as nonsense. Psalm 119:19 “I am a stranger in the earth; do not hide Your commandments from me.” The ground on which the Psalmist stood as he asked God to open his eyes of faith, was the fact that he considered himself a stranger to this world system, which is the enemy of real faith. So, then we must ask this question: What is the foundation of real faith? Psalm 119:24 “Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.” God’s testimonies are found in His Word, the Bible, and faith is the tool that allows us to hear, see, and understand God’s testimonies. If I may, let me ask you a personal question: On whose counsel do the tenants of your faith rest? My intentions are to provoke you, the reader, to take a healthy look at the condition of your faith right now. We are living in unprecedented times, the longer I live the clearer I see the worldwide conspiracy against the children of faith, we are facing some really powerful forces who are well trained and well equipped to stir doubt and to promote confusion against the Word of God in all levels of society. We better make sure that our faith rests on a solid foundation that cannot be moved no matter how hard they try to move us from our faith. Jude 3-4 “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” The tactics that our enemies employ against us are couched within the tenants of reproach and contempt. Psalm 119:22 “Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.” Contempt comes from without, and reproach comes from within. The world sets the standard, when lawlessness prevails, they treat the children of faith with contempt. When morality prevails, they creep in unnoticed and corrupt the freedoms that moral virtues afford to those who live by then, and through manipulative means of reproach they try to shame those of us who adhere to what is real and lasting faith, by calling us derogative and demeaning names. And as you well know, there is a lot of that going on out there right now against the children of real faith. However, when we keep God’s testimonies, that is we live our lives through the counsel of God’s Word, we become immunized against the effects of the inward reproach and outward contempt that our enemies continuously hurdle against us, for we judge ourselves in Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” Why does the world hate us so much? Because we believe the Word of God, and as long as we continue to believe in the Word of God, they know that they cannot influence us into their herd mentality. But what they fear more than that is that we become an influence to others, as we expose their manipulative tactics, and it makes their job of leading the world astray much harder as long as we continue to walk by faith in the Word of God. Psalm 119:23 “Princes also sit and speak against me, but Your servant meditates on Your statutes.” The most powerful man in the world, who claims to be one with us in the faith, continuously reproaches the children of faith with derogatory names and personal attacks, even using his great seat of power to deny our constitutional right to free political expression, just as the Word of God predicted three thousand years ago in His Word. How is that for relevancy today. That is why we need to meditate continuously on the clearly defined statutes found in His Word. And if we are having trouble understanding what we see and hear revealed in His Word, then we need to ask Him to open the eyes of our understanding so that we can put our faith and trust in His Truth. Psalm 119:25 “My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.” The dust is this world system that we have to live in that clings and affects the operation of our souls, for it interferes with our ability to hear, see, and understand through the eyes of faith the promises that we have inherited in the Word of God. Our open rejection of this world system is what opens the door for the revival of our faith that leads the Word of promise right into our hearts. 1 Peter 2:15 “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH | HoFM
THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH Psalm 119:160 “The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.” If there is a kink in the armor of the faithful it has to be in their failure to comprehend the entirety of truth presented to us in God’s Word. It was Pilate who beholding into the face of Truth, stupidly asked what has to be the dumbest question ever asked: What is truth? John 18:38 “Pilate said to Him, ‘What is truth?’...I find no fault in Him at all.” I do not fault people for not knowing what truth is if they have not met Truth, but Pilate met Truth in person and recognized Him to be Truth, for he also said that he found no fault in Him; if there is no fault in Him then He is the real thing, the entirety of truth. Is there something going on here that can help us to understand what the entirety of God’s Truth is? Let’s take a look at what Jesus said to Pilate first, who by the way, was not a stupid man, for Pilate’s position required him to be astute in both, politics and governance, which requires great insight into matters of understanding people’s behavior in regards to the application of laws. John 18:37 “Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are you a king then?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.’” Pilate knew that the charges that they were brought against Jesus were politically motivated, for the ministry of Jesus was a threat to the Jewish leadership of that time. Pilate saw this as a struggle for power between the Jews, and he saw himself as the kingmaker. So that in essence what Pilate asked Jesus was this, Tell me, why should I make You a king, what’s in it for me? To which Jesus responded, You know that I am a King for you have seen My authority (I’m paraphrasing). Then Jesus reveals to Pilate what His ministry, or kingship, was really all about, For this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. It was at that point that Pilate crossed the line, in what is a normal human response when confronted with undeniable truth, he turned and mocked Truth! After that Pilate tried unsuccessfully to extricate himself from the matter. He tried to release Jesus indirectly, by putting Him side by side with the worse criminal, but they chose the criminal over Jesus. He had Jesus tortured and punished by having Him scourged, mocked, and ridiculed, then he brought Jesus before His accusers and said: John 19:5 “Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, ‘Behold the Man!’” But it was not enough to satisfy the lie, for the lie can never exist while in the presence of Truth, no matter how much the truth is ridiculed. John 19:6 “Therefore, when the chief priest and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him!’ Pilate said to them, ‘You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.’” The reality is that once a person is confronted with Truth there is no going back, they can try to suppress the truth all they want, but like in the case of Pilate’s actions, to no avail. What is the message here for us who believe that Jesus is the Truth? Is He the entirety of Truth, or like Pilate, are we struggling to come to terms with the reality of it? Let me explain what I mean. Here is what the second part of our opening text reveals to us. Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Our normal human response to truth is to recognize it at first, but we are also influenced to believe that truth can change in response to the changing circumstances. In other words, we inheritably take issue with absolute truth that endures forever. We inherited that predisposition from Adam and Eve who believed the lie of the devil at the cost of partaking of the tree of life, which is: Every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. So that as Christians we are confronted with a constant assault against the truth of the Word of God in which we first believed. All the devil has to do is to get us to doubt just one of His righteous judgments, and just like that, we will find ourselves outside of the absolute truth that endures forever. And like Pilate we try hard to make up for our deficiencies and we just end up making it worse. Here is the key that keeps us from falling away from the Word of Truth: Psalm 119:157 “Many are my persecutors and my enemies, yet I do not turn from Your testimonies.” I do not turn from Your testimonies, plural, that means I keep every one of them, and I know that His testimonies, or covenant, endure forever. In order to keep all His testimonies, all the time, we need to understand the covenant that God has secured to His testimonies. For we cannot keep any of His testimonies outside of the covenant of salvation. Hebrews 6:17-18 “Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel (His testimonies), confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” The context is the priesthood of Jesus as the mediator of the new covenant, and it is within this context that God takes an oath which is based on two immutable, or unchangeable things: First is the fact that it is impossible for God to lie. The second is that God swore to the priest from Melchizedek’s line that He would not change His mind. Hebrews 7:21 “...The Lord has sworn and will not relent (change His mind), ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’” Can you see how God deals with the tendency of our fallen human nature to see truth from the context of changing? He removes any grounds to doubt that we may entertain, by basing the New Covenant on two unchangeable facts: The God who cannot lie, swore that He would not change His mind! In the natural we see some things that are very dear to us today, fall out of our favor tomorrow. Persons that we love and have sworn to love in the past, can give us reason today that causes us to change our minds and our feelings towards them. And that is how we tend to see ourselves in the sight of God. When we are trusting in His testimonies we feel good and secured. When we struggle to comprehend the truth of His promises to us, we wonder if we’ve done something that caused Him to change His mind about us. Without love there is no way to resolve this. Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” I love His law because I love Jesus; God’s law, God’s Word, God’s promises, God’s statutes, are one and the same with Jesus! The law of the Lord is perfect because Jesus is perfect! The law of the Lord is perfected in us when we put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word! Jesus is perfect in every way, therefore we love and trust Jesus in every way, there is no reason then why we should not put our trust in the entirety of God’s Word at all times, all the time, for ever and forever. Jesus loves us and has saved us; He swore on an oath, and He cannot lie, that He would not change His mind about His love for us. He loves us eternally and unconditionally, is there any reason why we should not love Him and His Word eternally and unconditionally as well? I see none! How do we handle then, the daily barrage that continuously confronts our trust and confidence in the Word and promises of God to us? Psalm 119:158 “I see the treacherous, and am disgusted, because they do not keep Your word.” Here is something new, instead of distrust, when doubts are raised about the veracity of God’s Word, it is disgust toward the slanderers that raises up from within us. Is it not so that when something treasured that is beautiful and lovely is slandered, that contempt towards the slanderers is what rises? Why should we doubt the immutable and unchangeable Word of God that promises us God’s unending, fervent, and perfect love? Is not Jesus the manifestation of God’s perfect love towards us? John 3:17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” What part of Jesus do we not love or agree with? If we love and agree with all that Jesus is and did for us, then we also must believe that the entirety of God’s Word is truth. Since it is God’s Word who testifies of Him and of His love and of His covenant that He made on our behalf. We cannot and should not have one outside of the other! Psalm 119:166 “Lord, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments.” James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF THE | HoFM
Top of Page THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF THE TIMES Ephesians 1:10 “That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.” What is the dispensation of the fullness of the times? Through the centuries theologians have discovered that God deals with humanity through differing epochs of time called dispensations. Each dispensation of time differs from another by the rules under which God deals with humanity in each unique dispensation of time. Theologians also figure out that there are seven such dispensations revealed in Scripture, with the last dispensation being the dispensation of rest, also known as the Kingdom Age, when Jesus will rule and reign over the entire world and all of its inhabitants for one thousand years. There were only two people under the jurisdiction of the first dispensation, Adam and Eve, and their time in the Garden is called the dispensation of innocence, and it was the first dispensation, and there was only one rule that applied to them while in Paradise: Genesis 2:16-17 “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, ‘Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’” After Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God’s command not to eat of the fruit that would cause them to become self-aware, they were driven out of the Garden Paradise and into a different place and dispensation. Although we are not told how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden before they sinned, we know that the next dispensation that they were put under lasted 1,656 years, and ended with Noah’s flood. This new dispensation was called the dispensation of conscience because Adam and Eve and their descendants became very much aware of their nakedness that they inherited through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. Genesis 6:5 “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Once man became self-aware of his sinful nature and realized the hopelessness of his situation, eventually he gave himself to think of only evil continually, and became in their consciences worthless to God, who then had no choice but to swiftly destroy them. In both judgments, the dispensation of innocence and the dispensation of conscience, the judgment of God was final. What that means is that we can never come to God again in innocence or in conscience, in innocence because all the descendants of Adam and Eve are conceived and born in the consequences of their sin which is death, we are born mortals. And in conscience because our carnal minds are enmity to the Word of God. Romans 8:7 “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.” So that through Adam and Eve we’ve not only inherited corrupt bodies that lost their innocence, but we also inherited a corrupted mind that can never be brought under the jurisdiction of the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 2:16 “...But we have the mind of Christ.” Just in case some of you were wondering about our present estate of mind. Our sinfulness is blotted out by the blood of Jesus and our old mind set is replaced by the mind of Christ which is given to us at the time when we become born again. Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death (because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience to the Word of God), but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (because the words of Jesus are Spirit and they are life).” Now our next dispensation was not judged completely when they rebelled against God, for its final day of judgment has been reserved for the day of the dispensation of the fullness of the times, which is where this lesson is headed, but first let me enumerate the rest of the dispensations so that we can put them all into the proper context. Genesis 11:8-9 “So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel (means confusion), because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” After the flood of Noah’s day, all the waters that were in and around the poles of the earth froze immediately, leaving the water levels of the oceans a lot lower than they are today, and causing a land bridge between the continents. It was God’s plan for humans after the flood to migrate to all the continents and fill the earth before the majority of the ice melted, which that happened during the days of Peleg when the land bridges that connected the continents were divided, buy submersion or by the melting away of the ice that connected some of the land masses. But mankind had other plans, they wanted to make a name for themselves, so they congregated together in rebellion against God’s command, and decided to build a tower that reached to the heavens, but God just simply confused their languages so that they could not communicate with one another, and so they scattered through the continents as was God’s original purpose, but God did not fully judge them at that time. Their dispensation was called human government, or what the book of Revelation calls, the kingdoms of this world, and they are very much still around today, for their dispensation has not yet been brought to a close. Today the European Union headquarters is a building that looks like an unfinished tower of Babel, for after all it will be the revived Roman empire whom prophecy foretells will give all its power to the antichrist to face Jesus during the final battle of Armageddon. Since mankind could not save themselves in innocence, or through their own consciences, or even when the power of human government did not bring about obedience to the commandments of God, that was when God decided to introduce His Promise. When the dispensation of promise is completed it will be known as the dispensation of the fullness of the times, for its at that time that God will bring to a close all the yet to be finally judged dispensations. Genesis 12:7 “Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I will give this land.’ And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.” When God entered into a covenant with Abraham it was a two-fold covenant, a covenant that spans two dispensations. For out of that covenant comes the nation of Israel and their deliverer, Moses, through whom the dispensation of law was given. And the promise of salvation for the Gentile nations was given through the dispensation of grace by the Lord Himself in His Gospel. John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 3:1-2 “For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you.” So here is a list of the seven dispensations: The dispensation of innocence. The dispensation of conscience. The dispensation of human government. The dispensation of promise. The dispensation of law. The dispensation of grace. That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ. And after all the above dispensations are finally completed, then all the believers that come out of every dispensation will be resurrected each in their time and ushered into the final dispensation of God’s rest, to rule and reign with Christ for one thousand years. The seventh is the dispensation of rest, or what will probably be called at that time the Kingdom Age. Now why are all these unfinished dispensations relevant to us today? Scripture teaches us that before God brings something or someone into the judgment, he restores them into the condition that they were in when they first rebelled, so that we know for a fact that the dispensation of the fullness of the times judgment cannot begin until all the yet to be judged dispensations appear together at the same time in history, since we also know that God is going to judge them all in the same period of time. The judgment and restoration of Peter gives us an example of how God will bring about the judgment of the dispensations. Peter got saved after he witnessed the miracle of the catch of fish in his net, which he lowered into the sea at the command Jesus, even after fishing all night and catching nothing. Peter rejected Jesus while hanging around a fire just trying to keep warm the night that Jesus was arreste. He was confronted by a girl who accused him of being one of Jesus’ disciples. John chapter 21 tells us that Jesus appeared to Peter again after he was fishing all night and did not catch anything, Jesus tells him to cast the net on the right side of the boat and a miracle happens again, the net is full of fish. Then when Peter drags the net to shore he finds that Jesus had kindled a fire of coals with fish and bread on it. So that all of the elements are in place to bring Peter back in his soul to the places of where he experienced his salvation and to the place where his rejection took place as well, then Jesus asks Peter a very simple question, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? Peter was not only judged there, but he was restored there as well. We witnessed in the twentieth century something that had never happened before in the history of mankind, the dispensations of human government, law and grace all came together for the first time in the same form in which they were after God had dispersed them. The Jews who were driven from the Holy Land after as a nation they rejected Jesus as their Messiah, were once again restored as a nation back to the land where they were driven from 1,900 years ago, while still rejecting Jesus as their Messiah as a nation, so that the dispensation of law which came through the nation of Israel and it must be judged in the nation of Israel was set in place awaiting their final judgment. The kingdoms of this world who have been scattered since the days when Nimrod was cut to pieces for his rebellion against God over 4,000 year ago, came together once again as one group in the middle of the twentieth century as the United Nations, where all their many languages can be translated instantly and a speaker can be understood by all the different nations no matter what language he speaks. It was also in the middle of the twentieth century that the apostolic revival began to take roots within the church once again. So that the three dispensations whose judgment it is yet to be finalized are presently in their prophetic places, Israel, the church, and the United Nations, all awaiting for the fulfillment of God’s promised conclusion to be meted out to them at their appointed time. Matthew 25:31-34 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’” I believe that the last piece that has to fall into place before the final judgment begins is the United States government. Our constitution has been a great hurdle that those who longed for the revived Roman empire and the new world order have not been able to overcome until now. After years of brainwashing the American populace, through all kinds of mediums, into having an open disregard for the constitution and the values that it fosters, this is the closest that they have come to succeeding, for our present day government is in total disregard for constitutional law and it is not being held accountable for it. If America does not recover from this evil that has befallen it, and I do not see any of our leaders calling for a nation wide repentance, then our time here on this earth is pretty much over I believe. Let us continue to pray for His preservation for those of us who believe. More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE | HoFM
Top of Page THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” If there is a word that conjures up strong emotions when spoken, it has to be the word hate. I can even picture a human face contorting as it utters that word. It is almost like one cannot even say the words, I hate you, without the display of an outburst of emotions attached to them. Since spirits manifest themselves as influences through persons, it is only natural that a spirit of hate would manifest itself through a person with such a display of emotion. I guess I should explain how I believe unclean spirits operate through persons, for those of you reading this that may not have heard of this teaching before, so that we can all be on the same page, here it is. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As you may know, the New Testament was written in the Greek language which has a lot more words to express meaning and sentiment than the English language does. Every now and then we have to look at Scriptures as they were written in the original language to get the full meaning of what is teaching. This is one of those cases. In the original Greek, the word translated spirit is the word: Pnyoomah: # 4151 in Strong’s concordance, and it means Breath, as in a blast or a current of air and is translated as the word spirit. For in the Greek, spirits are referred to as breath or air, but in this case it refers to a specific form of breath, a blast or a current of air. Pnyoomah is the Greek word from where we get the term pneumatic as in pneumatic tools, which are tools that run on blast or currents of air. In the original Greek, the word translated soul is the word: Phookhay: # 5590 in Strong’s concordance, and it also means Breath, but by implication, static air, and is translated as the word soul. To get a better understanding of how the spirit and the soul work together to give us our personality, let us go to the first created human. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the physical body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath (the human spirit) of life; and man became a living being (soul, personhood).” If we want to understand how spirits can move the physical body, here is what I believe are the mechanics of how it works: The human spirit is like the energy, the blast or the current of energy like in a pneumatic tool, that moves the soul, that in turn gives to us our personalities, the person that we become. The human spirit is not self-sufficient, so it has to derive energy from sources outside of itself. Our spirit man was originally designed to receive energy from the Word of God and derive its human personality from it, that is to drive the soul into becoming what the Word of God intended for that person to be. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in the Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining) and powerful (Energea in the Greek, and it means moving energy)…” Take for example the word influence, it describes the spiritual inflow that motivates people to do things, an influence is a spirit, and if the influence contradicts the Word of God, is an unclean spirit. Another example is the word inspire, when a person dies, that person expired, it means the spirit of life left them. When a person is inspired, it is a spirit who is doing the inspiration, and if such inspiration contradicts the Word of God, it is also designated as an unclean spirit. Now we were all born after the flesh, so like Adam we all have the propensities within us to fear and to doubt, and to feel shame and nakedness because of our sinful natures. But in the new birth we become a new creation, a brand-new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” We are not beholden to the old nature any longer. But we still have to make a choice, and it has to do with which spirits are we going to allow to influence us, and are we going to filter those influences through the sift of the Word of God. Here is another example; as new creatures in Christ, all of our sins have been forgiven, we are not to walk in the fear of eternal torment any longer, but in the power of God’s love for us, and rejoice that in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which is a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Now that we understand the process let us shift our attention to the spirit of hate, which is the culprit for the majority of the chaos going on around the world today. For hatred is the strongman of these last days. I believe that the three most powerful human emotions are: Love, hate, and fear. According to Paul God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has indeed given to us His Spirit of love. However, the spirit of a sound mind is necessary to keep us from falling prey to the foul spirit of hate, especially in these last days. Harboring the spirit of hatred can lead to the insurrection of the soul. Psalm 64:2 “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.” KJV Insurrection is revolt from within, and since the workers of iniquity still reside within our souls which are still in the process of salvation, what it means is that our human nature can be led into rebelling against the commandments that flow from God into our spirit man. Just like the love of God nullifies the spirit of fear, the spirit of a sound mind can help us put away the spirit of hatred. First let us identify which type of hatred we are dealing with as the Day of our redemption draws near. Psalm 25:19 “Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel (violent) hatred.” All you have to do to know that this is the type of hatred that we are dealing with today, just search the news and see how many believers are beheaded, tortured, burned alive, and struck down for their faith in Jesus Christ all around the world on a daily basis. In the more civilized parts of the world, where still some common sense restrains it, the violence from this spirit of hatred is more verbal in nature, but the sentiments are the same. If you are a believer in the morality that the Word of God commands for societies to follow, you are considered the scum of the earth, and it won’t be long before this sprit of hatred rears its nature of violence against those of us who believe here in the western nations as well. What feeds this spirit of cruel hatred is the spirit of division that is continuously propagated by the mediums of today, the news organizations that do not barter in the truth that they were originally established to proclaim, but rather in incitement and propaganda against the dictates of God’s Word. Ezekiel 25:15 “...Took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy (through violent means) because of the old hatred (perpetual).” I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but all the hatred that is being fomented right now by many, has its roots in old hatred, that is, they are trying to revive past grievances, but in reality it is nothing more than Satan’s perpetual hatred against those of us who belong to God. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Now the reason I am bringing all these things up is to warn you, and to keep you from falling into the demonic trap of repaying evil with evil. As I look at what is happening from a spiritual perspective, the devil is playing mankind as a well-rehearsed orchestra. Everything out there is designed to bring up strife within the hearts of people with common sense. I see the frustration that many are having to endure, for it seems that what is evil and destructive has become the acceptable norm, and what is sound and good judgment is ridiculed. But we need to keep in mind that what they are doing, they are doing it purposely, they do not need to convince those who have swallow their lies hook line and sinker to follow in their destructive ways. It is us that need to be neutralized, from their point of view that is, those of us who believe in the power of God’s love to inspire and to motivate our actions. And the way to neutralize us is to have us fall for the tricks of the cruel spirit of hatred and become like them. Proverbs 13:21 “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” Please my friends I know that it is not easy, not to become upset over the lies and the deception that they seem to be getting away with these days, without seemly any repercussions, let God deal with their actions. Make every effort not to get caught up in their web of cruel hatred and bad intentions. Let God’s love fill us with His peace, and deliver us from the snares of the wicked one. Let not our hearts backslide from His love. Top of Page Top of Page PRAY FOR MAINSTREAM MEDIA, MEDIA OUTLETS, AND JOURNALISTS Written by Minister Lisa Kane 12.31.23 SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the mainstream media, media outlets, and journalists around the world. I pray that those who work in mainstream media, media outlets, and/or as a journalist that they will share truth and fact from the Bible. Declaring the Bible as truth and they are led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that the gifts of the Holy Hpirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. - THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS, GRACIOUS, AND NEA | HoFM
THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS, GRACIOUS, AND NEAR Psalm 145:17-18 “The Lord is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call u pon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” King David begins Psalm 145 with a shout of praise to God. It is interesting that David addresses Him as my God, O King; let’s take a look at how David begins this Psalm of adoration. Psalm 145:1 “I will extol (praise) You, my God, O King; and I will bless Your name forever and ever.” It takes a king to understand the difficulties of fairly and justly ruling over a kingdom. This Psalm can be read from the perspective of a testimonial that David, as a human king who understood the difficulties of ruling and reigning over flawed humans, bestowed upon our God the Creator, who is also the Great ruling King over all mankind. In our opening text, David makes three key points that underline the qualities with which God rules as King over His creation. First David says of God’s rule: The Lord is righteous in all His ways. Coming from any of us, that statement would not carry as much weight as it does coming from an earthly king who ruled over God’s people for forty years. If you have ever been in a position of leadership, you know how difficult it is to make decisions that affect a group of people and really say to yourself that such decision would be accepted as the perfect choice by everyone involved. As any true leader will tell you, you can’t please everyone, as I’m sure David knew that very well, but yet He says of God our King, that He is righteous in all His ways. Why is this fact so important, that God’s rule is always perfect? Doubt is the opposite of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God, so that if we are doubting the righteousness of God on any situation that we face, we put ourselves at a disadvantage, and by doing so we forfeit the blessings that are offered to us within His kingdom. Psalm 145:5 “I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on (the words of) Your wondrous works.” Meditating is the process of slowly ingesting and digesting information, in David’s case he was meditating not only on what God had promised him, but also in what God had already accomplished in his life as well. In the early struggles of my walk by faith journey, I remember at times feeling abandoned by the Lord just because certain things did not work out the way that I expected them to work out, and I remember the words of encouragement that Jesus would always send my way, I did not bring you out this far just to let you go! Psalm 145:19 “He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.” I soon realized that in our walk of faith we have to learn how to walk in what the Bible calls the fear of the Lord before He will hear our cry for help, in other words we have to learn how to respect the way that His kingdom operates, which is by faith. Oh, the innocence of those times! One of my first lessons in hearing from the Lord occurred as I was driving from the Orange County area in California where I lived at the time, to the San Fernando Valley area to get pay from my labor as a painting contractor, for that was where the office was located that I had done the work for. Immediately as I started driving towards the office I felt the Lord impressing on me that I was to go someplace and pray after I left the office, so when I picked up the check I said to the Lord, where do you want me to go and pray Lord? Of course I heard nothing back, but since I was sure He had spoken to me earlier, I proceeded through a mountain road down to the coast where the Malibu area is located, for I figured that the mountain or the beach would be a good place to stop and pray. I still felt nothing, so I continued down the coast to the South Bay area of Los Angeles hoping to hear from the Lord as to where I was supposed to stop and pray, about two hours had elapsed and nothing, the church that we attended was in the port area of Los Angeles so I thought that God wanted me to go to the church and pray there, so that was where I headed, when I got over there, the Christian school was having an event in the auditorium, so praying there was out of the question. As I walked through the parking lot to get in my car and finally drive home, someone flagged me down, a church member and his wife had just gotten real bad news and asked me if I would pray with them over the situation that they were facing. I told them of my ordeal just to find out where I was supposed to go and pray, and it encouraged them so much that God had sent someone to pray for them before they even got the bad news, that their faith was made strong enough to overcome their situation. I realized there and then that God always has a perfect plan for everything that He does, and that all that is required of us is to remain faithful, for if we do not give up, we will not only have the victory over whatever situation we are facing, but in time we will understand how perfect and marvelous God’s ways are. Psalm 145:6 “Men shall speak (as I just did) of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.” I learned then, and continue to learn now, that the Lord is righteous in all His ways, whether I understand them or not, after all it is said and done the fact that the Lord is righteous in all His ways will be revealed to all the saints and will be acknowledged by them. Psalm 145:10 “All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You.” Secondly, David said about God’s rule that the Lord is: Gracious in all His works! Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surrounds Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” All the works of God are perfect, and since we forfeited our perfection when Adam sinned, the justice of God has to be satisfied, that is why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins, to satisfy the righteous demands of justice. So that all of the works of God on behalf of mankind are all founded on His grace, as David also acknowledged. Psalm 145:8-9 “The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.” In Bible days a king ruled supreme, the words that came out of his mouth were the law, anyone who trespassed against the king’s edicts faced sure death unless the king pardoned their transgression by offering them his mercy. David understood the principles of mercy, because from his ruling position he also understood that the righteousness of God required perfection, something that no human had, that is also why the Messiah had to be all human and all perfect. Thirdly, David said about God’s rule that: The Lord is near to all who call on Him! Imagine that, in the natural, the more responsibility that a person in leadership has the more difficult it is for people to get near them, for their time becomes that much more valuable, so that we usually have to deal with the underlings of those who exercise great authority, but not so with our King, He can meet alone with everyone of His subjects at the same time and in different places, because our King is also God. Psalm 145:13 “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.” And unlike our present world system where the lower that we are in the societal spectrum, the more difficult it is for us to reach those who are in authority, with our Eternal King is the opposite. Psalm 145:14 “The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.” No wonder David was praising God with such great exuberance, for what he is saying in this Psalm is that there is no god like our God. Psalm 145:3 “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable (beyond our understanding).” So that it is always by faith; our righteousness comes by faith in His Word, our dealings with Him are always based on our faith of His gracious works toward us, and by faith we know that He is always near to us, for we know that He will never leave us nor forsake us. And that’s the truth, so let us call upon Him in truth, for He hears us. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
