  • CHRIST IN YOU, THE MYSTERY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches that within all of us who believe in Christ, resides the potential to access those hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge Top of Page CHRIST IN YOU, THE MYSTERY. Colossians 1:27 “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” In our previous lesson, Visible and Invisible, I commented that the number one rule in understanding how the physical and invisible creation interacts was The Word, for it is written: Colossians 2:3 “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” So that not only do all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge abide in God’s Word, but they also abide in The Word that became flesh! Colossians 2:9 “For in Him (The Word that became flesh: Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” So that according to our opening text, those of us who have received Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord have residing within us already all these treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:10 “And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” But notice carefully how Paul describes it in our opening text, Christ in you the hope of glory. What that basically means is that a great gift has been given to all of us who believe, and that within all of us who believe in Christ, resides the potential to access those hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Now from the scientific point of view what that means is that we, those of us who believe in Christ, have been given the power by faith in the name of Jesus to manipulate the basic elements that comprise all matter. So that when Paul writes to us that in Christ we have the hope of glory, what he means is that in Christ we have the grounds to expect the manifestation of that which is invisible to us, or another way of saying it, that which seems impossible to us in the natural. So that true faith is based on the real evidence of something that already exists in the invisible or spiritual realm called heaven, where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. Scripture tells us that by the stripes of Jesus we were healed, Christ in us gives us the hope of accessing that healing that God has already released and loosed in heaven, to come to reality here in our physical confine if we can by faith release it here on the earth where it is needed. Why do these healings do not take place all the time? Why don’t they become a reality as they should on behalf of those of us who believe? Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” Notice the phrase according to the basic principles. A basic principle is a foundational law that governs a realm. There are laws or principles that govern the physical realm, and there are laws or principles that govern the spiritual realm. In the physical or visible realm, the basic law that permeates everything is entropy, because in our physical world everything eventually dies, for all that is visible is passing away. In the spiritual invisible realm however the basic law that permeates everything is the law of life, which is the law of Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die (entropy), even so in Christ all shall be made alive (deliverance from entropy, that is our blessed hope).” Those who operate according to the basic principles of the world cannot produce life, so that the healing that is needed does not come to pass on their behalf. However those who operate according to the basic principles of Christ, receive the healing needed to continue with a good and abundant life, for they are following the proper protocol. Colossians 3:1-2 “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above (the invisible spiritual realm), not on things on the earth (the visible physical realm).” Let us ask these two simple questions and then a third: where does sickness come from? And where do healings come from? Sickness comes from the past and healings come from the future age that is to come! Now let me ask one more question, where does the past and the future come together? The answer to the third question is in Christ, for He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. He has borne our sicknesses and diseases, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities which is where all sicknesses came from, that answers the first question. Now here is the answer to the second question. Hebrews 6:5 “And have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come.” Every healing that Jesus performed He brought from the future age that is to come; for it is written in Scripture that in the future every knee will bow and that every tongue will confess, that every eye will see Him, and that in Christ all shall be made alive. Hebrews 12:12-13 “Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” Now we understand from science that in the invisible world of sub-atomic particles which form all the things which are visible, that these sub-atomic particles exist in two different places at the same time, that is they transcend time and space. So that if our sicknesses are caused by past sins and iniquities that oppress us in the present, we can summon through the Word of God, the powers of the age to come and remedy whatever situation we face, if we dare to believe that with God nothing is impossible. Matthew 17:20 “So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.’” Now let us think about a literal mountain, if Jesus spoke to a high mountain and told it to move from here to someplace else, what would be the mechanics involved? Well we have an answer from nature! Every minute tons of water evaporate from the world’s oceans, move themselves away from there and travel to far away places where they come down as rain or snow, literally tons and tons of them fall back down to earth every minute somewhere in the world. What are the mountains made of? Sub-atomic particles that are held together by an invisible force, and in the same way that the sub-atomic particles that forms the waters that are in the oceans and are disbanded and made to fly away and then to come together again someplace else, the Word of the Lord has the same power to influence the dirt that forms the mountains or anything else, even the living things. Psalm 97:5 “The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.” What I am trying to do here is to encourage your hope in the Word of God, for the Word of God is a lot more real than anything that exists within our physical realm. The entire world system is designed to get people away from trusting in the hope of glory that we have in Christ, but if you are in Christ do not be cheated out of your inheritance in the light by going back into trusting in the basic principles of this world. Colossians 2:20 “Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations (things that perish with the using and which are not eternal like the promises of God are).” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • COME NOW, AND LET US REASON TOGETHER | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like... Top of Page COME NOW, AND LET US REASON TOGETHER Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Life is a constant ending of things that previously began. I can safely say that every human that was born one hundred and fifty years ago is dead right now. And it would be a pretty safe bet to declare, that if Jesus does not return on the next one hundred and fifty years, that all humans who are alive today will also be dead then. What gives us humans the ability to transcend this cycle of life and death, is that we have been endowed with the capacity to reason, that is, to think outside of whatever current circumstance we are in, and imagine a life that not only lives, but thrives, outside of the perimeters that constantly hems us in, and that keep us bound to our present reality. Job 14:14 “If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes.” It is our God given ability to reason that allows us to believe a thought that is foreign to our present reality, that a divine change will one day come, a change that is both personal and general in nature. This change has to do with the question that Job poses, If a man dies, shall he live again? Personally speaking it asks, will I live again? And since all men have died and continue to die throughout the ages, generally speaking it asks, will the all live again as well, after the change has come? So that mortal man, unlike unreasoning animals, can picture in his mind a life of immortality, an idea so at odds with our human environment, that it has to originate from an Eternal God. We see that every culture, past or present, is intuitively knitted with an idea that in the natural is extremely foreign to man, the thought of immortality; yet in spite of such overwhelming evidence, the fact that humans throughout the ages have reasoned that which in the natural seems unreasonable, still, many nations and peoples refuse to acknowledge the fact that man was originally created for a divine purpose. Isaiah 1:2-3 “Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me; The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib; but Israel does not know, My people (humans) do not consider (they have a willful lack of understanding).” It is humanly impossible to understand the times of the end without a reasonable understanding of the fact that a change must come. So let us ask the question, why is it a fact that a change must come? Humans were never destined to live in sin forever! Contrary to popular belief humans are not mortal, not before God, for to Him all live, that makes us humans immortal, and every human knows that intuitively. But before we can enter into immortality with God, our rebellious nature has to be disposed of, we must be made cleaned first, for our God is a holy God. In our opening verse God tells us that our sins are like a stain that has to be removed before we can enter into His eternal abode, that is also a foreign reasoning that comes to us directly from God. Have you ever bathed your dog only to see him run out and do a couple of rolls in the grass or dirt? Animals do not understand the concept of dirtiness or sin, only humans can relate to that concept; where does our ability to relate to filth and to sins comes from? Since we intuitively know that a change is coming, that leads us to believe that a preparation is necessary before we translate into that change, it comes natural. Without knowing, one that a change is coming, and two, that we must prepare ourselves for that change, we become like unreasoning animals that have no concept of eternity and end up dying in our sins. Isaiah 1:6 “From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they have not been closed or bound up, or soothed with ointment.” What makes us humans valuable to God is our ability to reason with Him, for if we understand Him, then we know what He expects from us, and what we can expect from Him, then we can make a reasonable choice to be and abide with Him as an act of our will, based on an intelligent decision made on the merits of the facts. With Him there is love, joy, peace, health, beauty, provision, eternal protection, happiness. Without Him there is nothing but eternal pain, sufferings, and sorrows, this is not brain surgery friends! Any half-witted reasoning will get us to make the right choice. Unless we are not willing to believe, which is the case in many instances, many will rather ignore sound reasoning for the temporary joy of rolling in the mud without guilt for a season. But if they really knew about eternity, and how much is really at stake, I doubt that any reasoning soul would be willing to risk an eternity of suffering for a few moments of frivolous carnal indulgence, I am, of course, speaking here about unsaved people. Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” For those of us who walk in the light of God’s salvation, we know that it is the precious blood of Jesus that turned our scarlet sins into snow white purity, and our crimson stain into precious white wool. We already believe in the resurrection from the dead and walk in the certainty that is, the age that is to come; so far this message has been a call that is aimed at the unbelievers, as I appealed to their ability to reason outside of carnal reasoning. Next I will bring into focus the role of the backsliders during the end times, those who already heard and believed the Gospel, but somehow have been dissuaded from following the plan of salvation that God has ordained for their lives. Isaiah 1:27-28 “Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and her penitents (returners) with righteousness. The destruction of transgressors and of sinners shall be together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.” There is nothing like a close call with death to get us back into the reality of life. That is why the end time, what the Bible calls the day of the Lord, will be such a frightful and terrifying event. Joel 2:1, 11 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand...The Lord gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; who can endure it?” Our redemption is going to be a messy business, for it will involve the beginning of the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners that get left behind, our redemption initiates God’s judgments against all those who forsake the Lord. The back sliders that repent (returners) in the face of the coming judgments, will be delivered with righteousness and kept out of the judgment. Those who have never believed and repent by calling on the name of the Lord, when confronted with the impending judgments, will also be delivered with righteousness, since they knew by instinct that a change was coming. Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Someone cynically may ask, if we will know of His imminent return, then why don’t we just live like hell now and repent when the wonders and signs are revealed before His coming? Isaiah 1:15 “When you spread (pray) out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.” Do you know whose blood your hands would be full of? If you reasoned that God was going to put an end to our present reality some day by ushering in a change, and then decided that when and if that really happened, that you would just somehow get on board of the salvation train and repent. Don’t you know that by your act of selfishness, those who might have known what was revealed to you, will never get the opportunity for salvation that they could of have, had you been a faithful witness to them, instead of living it up in the world. By your false witness before them, their blood is now in your hands and tribulation is the only hope left for you. Matthew 24:5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” The world has been totally saturated with stories of ancient aliens visiting humans in the past, which is nothing more than doctrines of demons that aim to prepare the unbelieving world to reject our Lord and Savior when He is revealed, by portraying Him falsely; causing those who lack Biblical understanding to flee to the mountains and mourn at His revelation instead of calling on Him to save then. Revelation 1:7 “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Those of us who know the truth have been charged with the task of identifying the real Messiah at His appearing by our willingness and readiness to meet Him. 2 Timothy 4:8 “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved (and are expectantly waiting for) His appearing.” Revelation 7:9-10 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE POWER WITHIN | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) says the difference between religion and Christianity, is that religion fills the head with knowledge, while true Christianity fills the believer’s heart with power from God. Top of Page THE POWER WITHIN Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The difference between religion and Christianity, is that religion fills the head with knowledge, while true Christianity fills the believer’s heart with power from God. Remember how Jesus told His disciples after they had been with Him for over three years of indoctrination into the principles of Christianity, that they needed to go to Jerusalem and wait there to be endued with power from above. Acts 1:4-5, 8 “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which ,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now...But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… ’” In religion, the power that enables the believer to carry out the doctrinal duties that his religion requires of him, is derived from the commitment of such believer to the doctrines that he has been taught. His fervor for what he believes and has been taught, is what drives his motives to attain what is required of him, but he himself provides the power. In Christianity, we have doctrines, and they require fervor, but the power to attain what is required of its believers is provided by God Himself. Now why is that? Ephesians 3:19 “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Is a matter of love and hate! If the human nature had good in it, then a good doctrine would incite that good nature to do the righteous requirements of the Christian doctrine. But the Bible declares that there is no one, no not one, that does good. So, to entrust a good doctrine upon those who are incapable to live up to its godly requirements would be folly. Romans 3:10 “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” Now in religion that is not a problem, if those who practice such religion are in it for self-gain. Whether it is to lord it over others, or to gain profit from its practice, or just simply to make the claim that they are better than others because of the accomplishments that they themselves are able to achieve through their religious convictions. 1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” True Christianity is rooted in unconditional love, that is why true Christianity cannot be exercised by self-generated power. Those who try to live up to the requirements of Christian doctrine by their own power are destined to fail, for it is an impossibility. The only way to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge is by being filled with all the fullness of God. When we become born again Christians, the Lord provides us with His Spirit, He fills us with Him, so that we can fulfill the law of Christ which is rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” So that we can fulfill the requirements of the Christian doctrine. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” But we have to believe that it is the Spirit of God who empowers us from within to fulfill that which is required of us. Now there are questions as to when we are filled with the power of God’s Spirit, and as to what the difference is, if any, about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I want to shed light on these questions in this lesson. The first thing that we need to be aware of is that during the ministry of Jesus, the believers had not yet received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit could not come until after Jesus left. John 7:38-39 “‘He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water’. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” Jesus told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to die for men’s sins, and then He told them that He would not leave them comfortless, but that they should wait for the Promise of the Father, that is to be filled with the Spirit and with power. Now since Jesus has already been glorified, all those of us who believe in Jesus and become born again, are immediately filled with God’s Holy Spirit and power. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” One cannot be a true Christian unless he/she is born of the One Spirit and made part of the body of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:19 “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” It is very clear then, that within all the born-again believers resides the power of God in essence form: according to the power that works in us, but notice how our opening text words it, the power that works in us. Works implies that a progression is taking place, as in a work in progress, as I wrote in my last lesson on the deliverance page, the renewing of the Holy Spirit goes from essence to presence, to power, but it is always according to the power that works in us, because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through our born-again experience. What is the working of the Spirit trying to accomplish in us? It is working to transform us from the old nature of hate into the new nature of love. Even though His power will always be present in us who have been born of His Spirit in essence form, His presence in us will not always be evident, much less His power, if we are not fulfilling the law of Christ. Galatians 5:16, 25 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Here we see then that it is possible to have the Spirit of God in us, and not be walking according to the Spirit. How do we fail to walk in the Spirit of God? When we fail to walk by faith and to abide in love! That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Love is the manifestation of the presence of Jesus in us, and faith enables His power to be manifested in us and through us. That is why we are commanded to be filled with the full manifestation of His Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Dissipation means to break up into different parts, if we walk to fulfill the lust of the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit, we separate the essence of the power that works within us, by preventing the love of God from manifesting itself, thereby disqualifying the power of faith. What about the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands? 1 Timothy 4:14 “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.” Since all born again believers have the essence of the Spirit within them, all are qualified to receive the anointing power, as long as they continue to walk by the power of faith and in the Spirit of love. We need to recognize also that there are diverse gifts that come with the essence of the Spirit within us, once we become born again, and those gifts are available to those who believe. These gifts are activated by words of prophecy and by the laying on of the hands of the eldership, those who are spiritually mature in Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:1, 31 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant...But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.” Paul tells us that there are gifts that are available to all believers, he does not want us to be ignorant, or to ignore them, and he wants us to desire the best gifts that are available to us, but then he adds this: And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “...But have not love…” The essence of love is the manifestation of His presence, if we abide in total unconditional love, then everything that we are or have belongs to Him. It does not matter what gift we have as long as is the one that He wants us to have. For by faith we believe that whatever gift He gives us will be the best for us to glorify His holy name. • THE SYSTEMATIC EXTERMINATION OF CHRISTIA | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 6:10-11 “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge... Top of Page THE SYSTEMATIC EXTERMINATION OF CHRISTIANITY Revelation 6:10-11 “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’ Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” The opening of the fifth seal reveals that before the rapture of the church takes place, which by the way takes place after the opening of the sixth seal, that there will be a great slaughter of two types or classes of peoples, and then it defines who those peoples are and the reason why they were killed: Revelation 6:9 “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the Word of God and for the testimony which they held.” Who are the fellow servants and who are their brethren, who have been numbered to die a martyr’s death before the Lord returns? In my book Man’s Final Destiny , you can read it in the books section of houseoffaithministries.org, I make the point that the souls under the altar are representative of the Jews who were slaughtered during World War II, since many of them were slain in gas chambers as a burnt offering, that is what the word Holocaust means, and that they died for the testimony which they held, they were just simply killed because they were Jews. It did not matter whether they were practitioners of Judaism or not, since so may innocent children were slain, over a million, who did not even know what religion or creed they belonged to. And I figured that the number of their fellow servants that were yet to be killed would be those Jews that would die later, before and during the invasion that sees Jerusalem surrounded by the armies of the nations of the world; and I’ve arrived at that conclusion because this is the only place in the book of Revelation where the martyrs are not referred to as dying for the testimony of Jesus, but rather for the testimony which they held, basically they were killed because they were Jews by race. But on a closer look of this passage of Scripture, it also seems to include the souls of those martyred for their Christian faith before the return of the Lord and it is symbolic, I believe, of the reunification of the blood of the fellow servants and of their brethren, upon which the original church was founded, since the foundation of the church included the shed blood of both the Jews and the Gentile believers; hence, there is a prophetic implication here of their final unification as one body, the body of the Lord, before He returns to execute His final judgments. Luke 21:17 “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.” The present-day persecution and the hatred perpetrated by the entire world against the Jewish people has been clearly documented and the evidence is irrefutable, just look at the United Nations record and see who it is that they continuously condemn and disapprove of unfairly. What is not clear to many today is, that right now, there is a systematic extermination of Christianity going on, and in many instances we are just talking about nominal Christianity, this persecution is not like the one that has gotten many Christians killed for their fervency and persistency in proclaiming the Gospel in hostile areas, no, this persecution going on right now in many parts of the world is for the simple purpose of eradicating Christianity itself by killing those, like they did the Jews before them, that are Christians even if in name or heritage only. And what might be the most appalling thing in all of this is, that our very own government, the US by its policies, is aiding and abetting the very evil that is taking place against the church of Jesus Christ. In Iraq for example, there was even under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, a large and healthy group of Christian communities. Ever since we liberated that country, those of the Islamic faith have used their freedom, which they did not have under the previous regime, to kill and intimidate Christian communities that have existed there since before Islam was even a religion, to the point that over half of the Christian population has fled the country and many have died, and before long there will be no traces of Christianity left in that nation. We see the same things taking place in Afghanistan, where our soldiers and those of the coalition are still fighting and dying to promote the freedom of those who want to eradicate Christianity forever. Egypt has one of the largest Christian populations of any of the Arab nations in the region, we just gave them some of our very best war planes plus billions of dollars; in thanks for our standing behind their rights to be free from a brutal dictatorship and supporting them with our weapons and treasure, they pay us back by torturing and killing Christians for the purpose of intimidating them to flee the cities and villages where their families have lived since the days of Jesus. The Palestinian areas where many of the Christian holy sites are, and where many Christians have lived for two thousand years, has been decimated buy kidnappings, torture and terrorism against those of the Christian faith so that right now the Christian population of many of those areas is nonexistent. All the while our hard-earned money and support is helping to feed and clothe those who commit these atrocities . Jeremiah 34:17 “Therefore thus says the Lord; ‘You have not obeyed Me in proclaiming liberty, everyone to his brother and everyone to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim liberty to you’, says the Lord—‘to the sword, to pestilence, and to famine! And I will deliver you to trouble among all the kingdoms of the earth.’” Luke 6:38 “...For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” There has always been the persecution of those, who belong to God either by word or deed, beginning with the first martyr, Abel, whose righteous blood still cries out from the ground for God’s vengeance to be executed on its behalf. The question that we must ask is this: When is the number of both the fellow servants and their brethren who are to be killed completed? Genesis 18:23 “And Abraham came near and said, ‘Would you also destroy the righteous with the wicked?’” In the narrative over the pending destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham engages in a numbers game with God, in other words, Abraham wanted to know what the ratio of believers to unbelievers in those cities would have to be to bring about the final judgment of God. Genesis 19:4-5 “Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, ‘Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.’” There was one righteous man left in that city and his name was Lot, and because of Lot’s refusal to give into their depravity, they were ready to do away with him. Genesis 19:9 “And they said, ‘Stand back!’ Then they said, ‘This one (Lot) came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.’ So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.” It is obvious from the context that there was no room left for Lot in that city, it was compliance and conformance to their way or else leave or be killed. Notice what their charge is against Lot, and the reason they intend to harm him, he keeps acting like a judge, in other words, who are you to tell us what is right and what is wrong. There are so many parallels here that is scary. First you have a worldwide religion in Islam that, in many instances, when they become the majority rule in the country or in the community as cited earlier, is either what their religion demands, which is total submission to them, that is what the name Islam means by the way, or the only other options are death or exile. The other parallel here that is so frightening is, that in the western nations where traditional Christianity provided what we could say was a model for government, for it offered its citizens freedom for and from religion, that also included freedom of speech and of choice, have now become ensnared in the trap of secular humanism, which demands of its adherents total and complete subjugation to their philosophy, and if you disagree with them because of whatever reason, then, you are classified as a bigot, homophobic, intolerant person that needs to be dealt with. Luke 17:28-30 “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” So that we have a flurry of nations that are forcibly removing from their ranks right now, any trace of Judaism and Christianity, and we have nations that have already done so; and in what is supposed to be the nations that were built on the Judeo-Christian values of Bible teaching, we have a total and complete rejection of the moral and ethical principles upon which they were founded. So, getting back to the numbers game, it is hard for me to see this trend changing anytime soon. There is no enforcement of the moral code of right and wrong anywhere in the world, nations just keep getting away with their evil deeds against those who have no say. I do not see a principled nation that is even able to speak on behalf of the innocent who are being slaughtered, even less one that is able to do something about it. Here in the United States the tales of the horrors that take place in the abortion mills has come to light in the trial of a doctor accused of murdering infants that were aborted but still alive, how their spinal cords were snipped with a scissor or flushed down the toilet while still alive. In another tape you can hear a doctor tell the pregnant mother that her almost full term baby will be killed inside of her before is aborted, she asks him, does that mean that I would have a dead baby inside of me? To which the Doctor responds, think of it as meat in the crock pot. Remember what they said to Lot? Who made you judge? Well, I definitely do not want to be part of this wicked and corrupt generation, I do not want to be a partaker of their judgment, so while I am here, I will not cease to expose their works of darkness to the light of God’s Word. So that when the Son of Man is revealed, I, like Lot, will be ushered out of this Sodom in a great hurry by God’s angels, before God’s destruction rains down from heaven upon this wicked and perverse generation. Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” God has not appointed us to wrath, thank You Lord! But Jesus did say that in this world we would have tribulation; my definition of tribulation is that of what men do to those they persecute for believing what the Word of God says, like what I have been teaching here in this lesson. My definition of wrath is what God does to those who persecute His children that believe what the Word of God says. And it is not pretty what God will do to them. So here are the choices: believe the Word of God and suffer persecution, for many of us here in the west is just verbal and situational persecution right now, and who knows maybe not for long, but for many Christians today who live under the rule of mad man, their persecution is very real, and their trials are excruciating, but their future is very secure, for wherever they go they are God’s holy property. And if you choose to conform with the world for the sake of not being out of step with societal evolution, you will end up wishing that you were under a pile of rocks with a bunch of losers, not that that is going to help you in anyway, for after all, hell is hell forever, whether you believe in it or not. • THE FEAR OF THE LORD | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what is the fear of the Lord? There are different levels of fear that are based on the different experiences of fear that we’ve encountered throughout our lives that will limit our understanding of what the fear of the Lord truly is. Top of Page THE FEAR OF THE LORD Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.” What is the fear of the Lord? I remember back in June 1976, when I first became a Christian, wondering what it meant to fear God back then, after all I was saved by responding to the Gospel, where Jesus forgave all my sins and I was made aware of His love for me. But every time that I read in the Bible about fearing God I felt that I was missing something, then I heard somebody teach that to fear God meant to respect God, and I thought that made more sense, but still I felt that perhaps something was missing. Thirty seven years later and I feel that I have a better understanding of what the fear of the Lord is, but I know still that there is so much more that I need to learn about God if I ever want to get close to have a deeper understanding of the true meaning of that phrase, why is that? God reveals Himself to humans in different levels and at different times, and the more that we experience the revelation of God and at different levels, the greater that our understanding will be of what the fear of the Lord is to us personally. Take a young person that goes to war, and while there in the front lines experiences the death of soldiers around him, and in some way he is convinced that he will not come out alive, but yet somehow he survives, that young person will have an extremely different understanding of what fear is, when compared let’s say to a person that has never come that close to the reality of death. So that there are different levels of fear that are based on the different experiences of fear that we’ve encountered throughout our lives that will limit our understanding of what the fear of the Lord truly is. Let us see if we can analyze the fears that we might not have personally faced in our own past, through the experiences of others in Scripture. Hebrews 12:21 “And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, ‘I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.’” I find that in the deepest level of our souls, where the fear that resides deep within us is, we have also the capacity to experience the highest level of human elation possible, so that both fear and elation are there together. I believe that what brings the greatest level of fear upon a human is to be exposed to the glory of God, and it is that same glory that brings about the greatest elation into the very core of that born again believer. When I experienced the rapture in a vision back in 1989, my body was so afraid when I saw Jesus in the fullness of His glory, that it trembled so much that the cells in my body felt like they were becoming unglued, for my body was gripped with such an incredible fear, yet at the same time my spirit was shouting at the top of his voice, Hallelujah, He kept His promised. I wrote the entire vision in the introduction page in my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of the houseoffaithministries.org So that at the same instant that I was experiencing the greatest fear that I had ever felt, I’ve also experienced the greatest elation possible. So that for those of us who believe, fear and elation kind of go together, for with the fear-experience comes the opportunity to receive a higher level of rev-elation. Remember that it was after experiencing the terrifying fear that caused him to trembled, that Moses received the ten commandments along with the rest of the law. Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Do you see Proverbs 9:10 through a different light now? I know I do! Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” I believe that the next level of fear that trouble many of us has to do with God’s judgments over the works of our hands, since many of us have very different definitions of what the right thing to do is. How do we deal with the fear that our actions or lack of actions bring to our hearts when we view them through the prism of facing the judgment of God someday? Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” The source of the fear of the judgment of our works or deeds, emanates from all those secret things that we have done and believe are hidden and out of sight, and when we are reminded that one day they will all be exposed, it gives us a great deal of consternation to say the least. How do we deal with this fear over the judgment of our works? We need to expose the motive for our actions to the light of the Word of God. Remember that our righteousness are like filthy rags to God, and our deeds do not merit any better, for as it is written: Romans 3:12 “They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” So that if our righteousness before God can only stand on the foundation of His grace, so do our works as well. So that everything that I do that is right, can only come as the result of His grace working through me, Scripturally speaking, and everything else I must bring to the cross as well, and ask the Lord to forgive them. So that in everything Jesus gets the glory; He gets the glory when I do what is right, for I can only do what is right through the power of His grace working in me, and when I confess all my faults, misdeeds, and all my failures before Him, He gets the glory as well, for only He is faithful and just to forgive me of all my trespasses when I confess them before Him, that is what frees me from the fear of judgment. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” In a perfect love relationship, there are no secrets; if we know that Jesus truly loves us and that He is willing to forgive us of any and all sins that we confess before Him, so that we can start fresh every morning, then we know that there is not going to be any surprises on judgment day. So that next time that the devil tries to condemn you by bringing to your memory some past sins that you have already confessed to the Lord, and you feel that spirit of fear rising up within you, recall to your mind this next Scripture and have hope: Lamentations 3:20-23 “My soul still remembers and sinks within me. This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” The next level of fear that we are dealing with in this lesson is respect. Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use (practice) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Respect has to do with assuming responsibilities for our actions, if we just think, well if I do wrong I’ll just repent and go on my merry way. An unruly child is disciplined by the rod, a child that listens however, though still a child, can receive discipline through words. The most grievous parts of our sins to God is when we injure others by them, thereby causing damage to God’s goods, that is when God will time-out those who refuse discipline, and at the root of refusing to be disciplined by the Word of God is the lack of respect for it. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” He who sows to the flesh will live in fear, fear of God, fear of others, fear of his actions, fear of the future, fear of judgment, for all these fears come as the results of corruption within, and may someday bring that person to the point where they become incorrigible. He who sows to the Spirit is continuously guided by the counsel of the Word of God, his fear or respect for it, drive his actions to the point where he eventually matures into the place of peace that our Lord has reserved for him. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • WONDERS IN HEAVEN ABOVE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents part 1 explaining since we are living in the days of the closing of the church age, it is imperative that we not only look for those signs to come to pass in our day, but that we understand what those signs are and how they relate to our present condition when they appear. Top of Page WONDERS IN HEAVEN ABOVE Acts 2:19 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke.” As Peter quoted the prophet Joel about what was transpiring after the Holy Spirit fell on the one hundred and twenty disciples and they were prophesying and speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit did not stop Peter, but allowed him to continue with the rest of Joel’s prophecy that not only told how the church would begin, but that also spoke of how the church age would come to an end. We know from the history of the church that when the Holy Spirit fell upon the believers on the day of Pentecost, wonders in the heavens did not appear, for the sun did not turned into darkness neither did the moon turned into blood on that day, for those wonders are reserved for the times of the end of the church age to announce our Lord’s return. Mark 13:24-26 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” We have plenty of Scriptures that associate those wondrous cosmic upheavals to the return of Jesus Christ for His church. Since we are living in the days of the closing of the church age, it is imperative that we not only look for those signs to come to pass in our day, but that we understand what those signs are and how they relate to our present condition when they appear. What does the powers in the heavens will be shaken mean? Modern science has a very strong grip in our present understanding of the physical heaven of today, we see the pictures of the myriad of galaxies that fill the sky, and we struggle to understand the vast distances that separate us, not only from other galaxies, but even from those stars that are close to us within our own galaxy. The immensity of those vast distances, and the scope and grandeur of the cosmos in relation to our tiny earth, makes even those of us who believe that God created us feel so insignificant, that it diminishes our own conception of who we are, and it makes us wonder why such a great Creator would bother Himself with such a small speck of dirt. I believe that when the powers of the heavens are shaken, all those misconceptions that we presently have about the universe, and our importance within it, will be done away with right away. What does Scripture really mean when it states that the powers of the heavens will be shaken? Can we, from our present-day vantage point postulate what the real unseen power that runs the universe is? And can we imagine what the reality of the unseen universe will be when it is finally revealed? I do not know that we really can, but that should not stop us from trying to seek the truth that will prepare us to readily accept our place within the creation when it is finally revealed through God’s wonders. Where do we start? Psalm 8:1,4 “O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, who have set Your glory above the heavens!...What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?” When David saw the revelation of the many wonders of God’s heavenly creation, he felt the same way that we do when we gaze at the pictures that come to us from the universe that reveals creation’s wonders. It caused David to ask, if I can paraphrase: What is the human race that You visit us, that You care for us, that You give attention to? Immediately God answered his question. Psalm 8:6 “You have made him (humans) to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” The answer lies not in the proportion of our size in relation to the greatness of the creation, but rather in the greatness of the position that has been assigned to us within the creation. As we read the history of the creation in the opening chapters of the book of Genesis, galaxies and constellations are not the focus, neither are black holes or dark matter, man is the crowning achievement of God’s creation! That is why he was put in charge of all that was created. Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handy work.” The firmament refers to the first heaven, the physical realm of which the earth is the capitol, where man was placed to rule everything from. So that while the heavens, visible and invisible, demonstrate how magnificently glorious and powerful the Creator is, His human creation before the fall, was created to demonstrate God’s righteous character and compassion, the invisible qualities of the Creator, into a visible forum He called the firmament where He placed His human jewels. So that the supreme qualities of the Creator are not seen through the heavenly bodies that He created, marvelously wonderful as they might be. The supreme quality of the Creator can be seen through the human creatures that He created in His personal image, as fully demonstrated through the life of Jesus, the only human able to portray God’s wondrous love in all its beauty and elegance, towards fallen creatures like us who did not deserve His love or compassion to begin with. Psalm 8:3 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained.” God created all His heavenly wonders with His fingertips . Isaiah 63:5 “...Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me...” But when it came to the creation and to the salvation of His beloved humans it required all the strength of His right arm. If we put it within the context of God’s creation this is what it all means, all the billions and billions of galaxies, all the trillions and trillions of stars, all the nebulas, all the black holes, all the dark matter, all the dark energy, gravity, you name it, all of those things which exist in the universe were made by the simple touch of God’s finger. But when it came to His beloved humans whom He made out of earth’s dirt and placed us in it, so that from it we could rule over His entire creation, He brought the full force of His righteous right arm to bear, for to Him we are His jewels, the most valuable of all that He has created. Psalm 98:1-2 “Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. The Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations.” Science has it all backwards, they worship the creation rather than the Creator, who is forever blessed. Amen! So that before the Lord announces to the world the return of His Salvation, Jesus, who is coming to redeemed us, His human brethren, from the decay and corruption of this world that is passing, God will set the record straight once and for all, by shaking violently the heavens, the earth, and the underworld, everything that He created, as one who is removing the ingenuously designed wrapping on a present that He can hardly wait to open. Malachi 3:17 “They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I make them my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” I constantly hear the harpings of this world sages stating that if they find that life evolved and exists in another part of the universe, that it will be a transforming event, they do not spell it out, but what they are saying is that it will invalidate the Bible and what it teaches concerning God’s special creation of the human race. In order for a life supporting planet to exist, it needs to orbit a star, the closest star to our solar system is light years away, we have a better chance of growing wings and flying by just eating ducks, than we would ever have of interacting with anything that is a light year away. They think somehow, that if there is intelligent life in another planet somewhere, that it will prove the Bible wrong. But yet the Bible teaches that there is intelligent life elsewhere, they are called angels, they live in a spiritual/invisible realm, and they interact with earthlings all the time. They travel back and forth from the presence of God to the earth all the time, as ministering angels on God’s behalf to the human race. Hebrews 1:14 “Are they not all (the angels) ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” In our next lesson I will deal with the difference between the three dimensional physical realm where we humans live and the four-dimensional realm where the angels operate. As we continue to prepare ourselves for what might be a year of wonders. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABLE? | HoFM House of Faith Ministries

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks you if you believe that God is able? This teaching helps you build your faith. Top of Page DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS ABLE? Matthew 9:28 “And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.’” Have you ever wonder what faith really is? What is biblical faith, and how do I know if I have it? I am sure that we all have our own personal understanding of what faith is to us, but I wonder if we can all come to a general understanding of the Bible’s definition of faith, or what I call biblical faith. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” In the Bible’s own definition of what faith is, we see two basic components working together, and I believe that if we are able to understand their interactions, it will make us more capable, if you will, to overcome those situations where only faith can deliver us. But before we look at these two components, let’s get a biblical perspective first, of how the basic principles of faith work. Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” I believe that the difference between listening and hearing is that when we hear something it has the connotation that we understand what we are hearing. When we hear a familiar sound we are able to understand where it is coming from and what it is. For example if we hear a baby crying or laughing we can respond appropriately. In the same manner if we hear sounds that we are not familiar with or know from where they originate, then we are clueless as to what is going on and have no idea as how to respond. So that faith rests on the foundation of knowledge. Theoretically speaking, the more that we know the more that we are able to believe, but there is a double implication to that theory, the more that somebody else knows, the more that we are able to believe in their abilities as well. Let us use a natural example of that theory: Two men are riding in a car when the motor stops working, they open the hood and look at the engine to see if they can find out what is wrong and if it can be fixed. Do we believe that they will be able to fix the problem? I would need more information about the two men. Let’s say that one of the two men is a medical doctor. I’m pretty sure that he won’t be much help in this case, unless of course, somebody gets sick. Let’ s say that the other man is an auto mechanic, well then, that changes the whole equation doesn’t it? For even if he cannot get it fixed right there, he would probably know what the problem is and what needs to be done to get it fixed. If it was the other way around, the car is running fine, but somebody gets sick, then my money is on the doctor. That is a simple, yet powerful illustration of how faith works, we need to know, but we do not need to know everything, for it is impossible for a single human to know every craft, but we do need to know about the One that knows everything, for the more that we know about Him, the easier it is to believe that He is able to help us. Matthew 9:27 “When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, ‘Son of David, have mercy on us!’” Jesus had gone into a ruler’s house where the daughter of the ruler had died and a crowd had gathered to mourn her passing. The father of the dead daughter went to Jesus and worshiped Him and said to Him on verse 18: “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” Obviously the two blind men were part of the crowd that had gathered at the ruler’s house, they could not physically see but they knew what the commotion was all about. When Jesus got to the house He said that the girl was not dead but sleeping, after the crowd ridiculed Him, He sent them outside of the house and proceeded to raise the girl back to life, as Jesus left the house the two blind men, after hearing what had taken place, followed Him and His disciples crying out to Him, Son of David, have mercy on us. Here we see the two sides of faith clearly displayed. A desperate father reaches out to a man, not just a man, but a man of God whom the crowds are following because He is reputed to have supernatural powers to heal all those who are brought to Him. The father cannot bring his dead daughter to Jesus, so he brings Jesus to his dead daughter. He finds himself in a desperate situation, for if Jesus does not come right away, his daughter will be buried before the sun sets, so he goes for broke and all in. No hesitation, no wondering about the divinity or genealogy of Jesus, he just comes and worships Him and tells Him that if He lays His hand on his daughter, she will live. In the other side of faith, we have two blind men attending a funeral, their advantage was that they did not use their eyes to gather information for they were blind. So that when the crowd was put outside of the house so that they could not see the miracle that Jesus did, the blind men could see what had taken place by the reaction of the crowd when the girl was presented to them alive. So they followed Jesus, reasoning that if Jesus could raise the dead He could surely give sight to the blind. So that a desperate need as well as sound reasoning are key to releasing the faith that can deliver us. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” The substance of faith is in the realization of our desperate need, and the evidence is in the confidence that we show when we ask. Ephesians 3:12 “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” My confidence rests with His ability to do that which for me would be impossible to attain, but first I must realize that only He can deliver me. For as long as I think of a possible remedy for my situation outside of Him, there is no substance to my faith. And if there is no substance, then there can be no confidence, and without confidence there can be no boldness to access what we are in need of. Hollywood perpetrated a lie in one of their old movies that to this day many believe is a Bible verse when it is not, here is the quote: God helps those who help themselves. This is a false premise that is accepted by many people of faith as a true statement. But in reality God helps those who cannot help themselves, yet believe that God is both willing and able to help them. If you have a varmint problem, you call an exterminator. If you have a water leak, you call a plumber. If your power goes out, you call an electrician. And the reason we do that is because they are people who are trained to handle those situations, and we trust that their abilities will help us solve our problems. First we realize that we have a problem, secondly, we call on their services and trust on their abilities to fix them, but as you know if you ever hire somebody that did not live up to his credentials, it is a system that is based in trusting those whom we hire to perform. What we can draw from that is that men are fallible, but God is not. Where men will fail us for lack of honesty and or abilities, God will never do that. In order to have total and complete confidence towards God when we call on Him, we need to know about His honesty and His abilities, as one of our previous Scriptures told us: Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So that when we read the Scriptures in the light of what faith teaches, we need to ask these two questions: Is God really able to do that which seems impossible, and will He do it for me? Romans 8:31-32 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” The one thing that I failed to mention earlier when I was doing a comparison between the natural and the spiritual, was that some people cannot afford a plumber when their water main breaks, but thankfully with God all is free, for Jesus paid the price of everything that we are in need of now, and He paid it in full. So that Scripture clearly establishes that God will do the impossible for us all, and that He will also do it freely. So that the only question that remains is, does He have the power do it? Matthew 9:22 “But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, ‘Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ And the woman was made well from that hour.” There was a another miracle that took place in our opening text as well, a seemly unintended one. A woman that had been suffering for twelve long years with an affliction that no one could heal. She said to herself, If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well. She was made well when by faith she touched His garment. Here is what was meant by that miracle: Deuteronomy 19:15 “...By the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.” Jesus asked the two blind men, Do you believe that I am able to do this? We have three miracles within the context of the story that testify that Jesus is more than able to do what for us it is impossible. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (our faith).” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
