  • HoFM | House of Faith Ministries | Missouri

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) is an online ministry providing Holy Spirit revelation of the Word of God. Top of Page Mission Statement To live the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a manner that: Death to the things of this world in our lives will be obvious to all, while we proclaim the life of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world; Beginning with the very corners of our world. Purpose To be found worthy of His calling at His soon return. Motto For He that promised is faithful. Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Greetings in the name of Jesus our redeemer. My name is Marcos Marrero, and this is what I believe: I believe that we ought to always thank God for sending Jesus, his only begotten Son to die for our sins. I believe that we ought to praise God always, for He did not leave his only begotten Son hanging on the cross or inside the grave. We ought to worship Him! The creator of the heavens and the earth, who raised Jesus from the dead, and has given Him a name that is above every name. Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." It is my intention for this web page to make this proclamation: The Word of God is the only TRUTH! Jesus, the messiah of Israel is the revelation of God's TRUTH! The Holy Spirit sanctifies every human who believes the TRUTH, as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 2:13-14 "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." I boldly proclaim that the same Jesus that was taken up to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth. Will soon return to this earth to set up His kingdom. I boldly proclaim that this same Jesus will judge both the living and the dead. Those who believe God's TRUTH as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ will be rewarded with the crown of life, and will forever be with the Lord. But those who reject the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be dammed for eternity. II Thessalonians 2:12 "That they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." I also believe that God will hold every believer accountable who does not strive to have the work of faith with power in their lives. II Thessalonians 1:11 "Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power." It is the demonstration of God's power through faith in the TRUTH of the Word of God, that will convict sinners of their error and cause them to cry out for our God's salvation. Luke 5:8 "When Simon Peter saw it, (the demonstration of God's miracle working power) he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying 'depart from me for I am a sinful man, O Lord!'" It is my desire to present to you in this web page the gospel of Jesus Christ in its true form. Free from the contamination of human fallacies. Knowing, even as I am writing this, that Jesus will hold me accountable for everything that I will be teaching here. James 3:1 "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly." Lord Jesus! I dedicate this web page to you. I pray for your anointing and guidance. Let those who read its contents be led by your precious Holy Spirit to receive the promises of your abundant life. Amen.

  • BLAST FROM THE PAST HIGHLIGHT | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) highlights past messages reminding you that those messages still apply to today. Top of Page BLAST FROM THE PAST SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero 1 Corinthians 12:10 “…To another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits…” Spiritual discernment is one of nine “gifts” made available to believers by the Holy Spirit for the profit of all believers. In spiritual warfare our foes are spirits, our ability to discern who these spirits are and how they operate is crucial if we are to get the upper hand in bringing deliverance to the believers who are oppressed by them. Matthew 12:43-45 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” In the above verses Jesus gives us tremendous insight into the why and the how of unclean spirits and how they operate. Also how they gain access into the individual. A wicked generation opens the door for widespread demonic infestation. The root of wickedness is idolatry, and idolatry produces iniquities. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity.” Exodus 20:4-5 “You shall not make for yourself a carved (idolatry) image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.” And the root of idolatry is hatred towards God. According to Jesus there are seven different kinds of more wicked spirits who are able to interact with the less wicked spirit that claims the body that he was exorcised from as his own house. It will be interesting to know who this wicked spirit is who is able to summon help from more wicked spirits than himself in order to take back the house (body) from which he was kicked out. Proverbs 26:24-26 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; when he speaks kindly, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.” Idolatry in its root form is wickedness that brings forth iniquity (inherited sin) which is deeply rooted in hate, hatred of God and of everything that belongs to God. So that the primary but lesser unclean spirit that summons the seven more wicked spirits than himself after he is cast out, is the spirit of hate. He who hates harbors (summons) seven abominations in his heart (spirits) which revealed themselves as wickedness. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit (singular) of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (these eight are all manifestations of God’s love). Against such there is no law.” Our born-again spirit is conceived in love (God so loved the world). That love manifests itself in the born-again person in eight different representations of God’s love, for a total of nine. The un-regenerated spirit still belongs to God though separated from Him, so hate which is the opposite of love manifests itself in seven different ways or levels of wickedness, for a total of eight unclean spirits. Satan, the head of the demons sums up to number nine. Every demonic infrastructure is a perverted copy of the heavenly pattern. God is love and manifests His love in eight fruit, singular as in one unit. Satan cannot possess the spirit-man for it belongs to God, so his hate can only manifest itself in seven different levels of itself (hate being number eight) within an individual. These seven manifestations of hate are called abominations in the Word of God. Our ability to discern these abominably unclean spirits and their deeply rooted hatefulness is crucial in our ability to help people beset by them to be set free. This is what spiritual discernment is all about. Seven abominations which are born out of hatred towards God. 1) Proverbs 16:5 “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” Number one is the spirit of Pride. If hate is the root, clearly pride is the trunk of the tree. Pride is born out of a hateful heart. The spirit of hate masquerades itself so as not to be uncovered: Proverbs 26:24 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself.” One sure way to know if hate is present in the heart of the person we are helping is through the discernment of the spirit of pride. If pride is present, hate is hiding behind it, they go together like a hand in glove, and it is this lethal combination of joining forces which enables these other six unclean spirits access. 2) Proverbs 15:8 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.” Number two is the spirit of Self-righteousness. The proud in heart will pray (sacrifice) to God in self-righteousness instead of meekness, not even aware sometimes of his own conceit. Luke 18:11-13 “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men — extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess’.” What is it that drives people to do what they do? If pride is behind it, nothing good will come out of it. 3) Proverbs 15:26 “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD, but the words of the pure are pleasant.” Number three is the spirit of Gossip and Slander. Jesus told us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We have a saying that says, the down puts down, the mind set of this spirit is to tear down with words, gossip and slander are its characteristics. 4) Proverbs 11:20 “Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, but the blameless in their ways are His delight.” Number four is the spirit of Malice. A perverse heart manifests itself through malice. It will actively seek and desire for evil things to befall others. 5) Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.” Number five is the spirit of Bitter Envy and Self-seeking. James 3:14 “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.” 6) Proverbs 11:1 “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” Number six is the spirit of Betrayal and dishonesty. Dishonesty, betrayal and untrustworthiness is the conduct that will expose this spirit. 7) Proverbs 3:32 “For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.” Number seven is the spirit of Perversion. The person that is driven by the selfish desires of their heart (lust of the flesh), will desire to obtain the things which they see (lust of the eyes) as profitable for increasing their own status in the eyes of others (pride of life). Such a person becomes perverted, meaning a counterfeit copy of their real selves, which was originally created in the image of God. The proud heart will sacrifice whatever it takes to realize the thoughts and desires of their perverse heart, they will lie and cheat to achieve their goals. In the process they lose their original personality, which was created in them by God, and become a perversion of what they were created to be. Who would have thought that hate could produce so much evil. The sad thing is that it usually begins with hating oneself. Pride is what we use to compensate for the feelings of worthlessness, and the rest just follows. Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God put a price on the soul of man, a price so valuable that could only be measure by the intensity of the sufferings and passion of His only begotten Son for us. The precious and priceless blood that Jesus shed for us has once and for all separated the words “worthless” and “soul”. They are so far apart that they are not even in the same universe. Love and self-acceptance in the unconditional love God has for us, which He demonstrated on the cross, is the key that unlocks and opens the perverse heart and releases that hateful bird called pride. Humbly and grateful the restored heart rejoices in its new found love and acceptance, and the peace of God which passes all understanding rules and guides, faithfully comforting the emerging new person which is now being built in the image of Christ. Romans 8:37-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” True deliverance comes as we replace the spirit of hate with God’s love which is Spirit, and that’s the truth. Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

Apply dear Lord I pray, the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestor’s life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against Your Word and I ask for Your forgiveness in the name of Jesus. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies, and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Now that I’ve confessed all my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestor’s. Deliver me Lord and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil’s accusations against me. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. • MAN'S FINAL DESTINY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a book called Man's Final Destiny. This encompasses the rapture and end times. This page includes an excerpt from the book and the link to the full free book. Top of Page Personal Introduction MAN’S FINAL DESTINY The Revelation Unveiled Free book - More books & Manuals Here Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me, I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sight of release I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken these words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heighten into the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said; extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focused on me, the expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core, there is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive, I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as your read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up; my chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience, as I lay there, my belly and chest areas got so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. A few months later, having given myself enough time to digest the experience and with the knowledge that I could now make a rational decision as to the purpose for which God revealed the vision to me, I came to the conclusion that Jesus wanted me to learn about end time prophecy and about the sign of His soon coming. My wife and I entered into a new covenant with the Lord that year; we gave to Him our future, our business, our home, as well as all our personal desires. Needless to say our emphasis changed from normal church attendance and our normal church involvement which we were part of since we got saved in 1976, to a radical pursuit of preparation, training and the all needed times of deliverance that we had to go through, in order to fully let go of those things that hinder the flow of revelation from the Holy Spirit. Eight very difficult years went by; I learned that when God reveals radical things, the enemy steps up with equally radical tricks and attacks. But I also learned that those are the things that God allows in order to refine us and to bring us to total trust in Him and Him alone. During those eight years we had months and months out of every year with no work and no income, every morning I got up I had a choice to make, I could worry about our desperate situation or see it as one more day of home bible schooling, I stayed true to the revelation and chose to study the bible and the signs of His soon coming. After many long hours, months and years of studying and seeking the revelation that only the Lord is able to bring, the framework that would allow me to understand the book of Revelation became clear. Everything made perfect sense all of the sudden, all the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place. I remember thanking Jesus for His great patience, and I wondered inwardly as to how many times Jesus though how hardheaded I was. I had piles and piles of notes, charts and genealogies all over the pool table that had become my working station, as I wrote the date in a notebook where I made entries of important discoveries, I realized that the day when I finally received the understanding of the framework of the book of Revelation, was much to my surprise February 12, 1997, exactly eight years from the time I had experienced the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ in a vision. • INTERCESSION | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? Top of Page INTERCESSION Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Intercession is not only needed, but is very much required for the proper function of everyday life as we know it. If it were not, then Jesus would not have to live always making intercession for us. What are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? In this lesson we are going to try to unravel some of the mysteries related to intercession, in the hope that we can get some insight into this ministry that is so vital to our everyday lives, in the hope that it would encourage us to intercede on a daily basis. Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’” To understand intercession is to understand why the will of God is not being done on the earth as it is in heaven; we need to know that the authority to rule over the earthly realm was given to Adam, to man and his descendants, Satan usurped that authority from man through deception and introduced chaos into the earthly realm. Since that time there has always been a battle between good and evil here on the earth. Jesus came and destroyed Satan’s power to inflict chaos upon the earth and returned earthly authority back into the hands of godly man. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Intercession is asking God to do His good will here on the earth on behalf, and for the good of all mankind. Since the authority has been returned back to us, when we see chaos ruling, it is because someone is failing to ask God to intervene in that situation. We may ask, why doesn’t God remove the chaos and bring to us His peace? Since God gave authority to man to rule over the earthly realm, God will not interfere into the affairs of man uninvited. That is what intercession is pure and simple, recognizing that we fail due to our fallen nature, to bring the goodness of God by ourselves into the earthly realm. We need His help! Luke 18:1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In the parable that followed Jesus spoke about a widow that was not strong enough to take on her adversary by herself. The widow in the parable typifies mankind in our fallen human nature. The judge in the parable did not care about her need for justice, but due to her importunity, a type for consistency in prayer, the judge granted the widow her request. Then Jesus adds: Luke 18:7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Men are always to pray and not lose heart: This brings us to the first aspect of intercession. Intercession is a Battle: A spiritual battle that requires a battle plan. Once we understand that God will not intervene in human affairs unless we ask Him to, and we know that it is His will, not ours, that He wants to bring into the mix, then we need to know what His will is in regards to the situation that we are asking His intervention for, so that we can pray in accordance with His will for that situation. If we do not, then the chaos will continue, for He aims for His will to be done not ours. Battle on behalf of mankind: God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Our daily intercession should follow, as in regards to our prayers on behalf of mankind, first the family and the family structure. 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” These are pretty strong words that Paul speaks, that is because God is after the family structure; the family that prays together not only stays together but has a powerful influence in all that surrounds them. Is called the power of agreement as in a married couple interceding together on behalf of their entire families that became connected to one another through them entering into holy matrimony. That is why the institution of marriage is under such a heavy attack right now from those who want to redefine it. Their demonic aim is to corrupt the power of this marital institution to intercede together on behalf of both families by introducing dividing controversies into the family unit, thereby their power of intercession is neutralized. So that intercession should be made first on behalf of the household and beginning with the head of the household. Daily intercession should be made on behalf of parents, grand parents, children, grandchildren , great grandchildren , our siblings, their siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and for the families that they are interconnected with as well. God will use your prayer for some distant family member that you do not even know to save them from hell; remember that God is not willing that any of them should perish and be lost forever, but He will not act on their behalf by imposing His own will upon them unless someone prays for their salvation, which is God’s will for them. Many years ago, one of my nephews found himself, after going forward on an altar call, in front of an evangelist that told him that the reason he had answered the call was because his uncle was praying for him. This blew his mind for he knew that I was the only saved uncle that he had, he called us to ask, and we told him, yes we pray daily for our nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. This was a confirmation to us way back then, that God always hears our prayers. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Secondly, we need to pray for the men and women that are part of the governmental structures that rule society, both secular and religious institutions. So that we need to pray on a daily basis for the churches and the elders of the churches, for the schools, the principles, the teachers, those who prepare the curriculum that the teachers teach, we are not to leave any of that to the will of the enemy. The fruit of the womb is His reward, let our children be invested with the knowledge of the truth, after all they belong to the God of Truth. Let us pray for the lawmakers and those who are in charge of executing the laws that the legislators pass. Let us pray for the judges that rule on what laws are just and which are not. Our prayer on their behalf should be based on what is God’s best for those over whom they rule. If the rules that they pass and enforce go against what is God’s best for the people they have rule over, then our intercession for them will be for God’s conviction of what is right and wrong to be revealed to them. If God opens their eyes to see the evil that their ruling is bringing upon the people, then hopefully they will repent and do the right thing on behalf of those over whom they have the power to rule. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Thirdly we need so seek our own personal time of intimacy with Jesus. True intercession is born out of a heart that has an intimate relationship with the heart of Jesus. When His heart becomes one with our heart, our intercession for those things which touch His heart will be the more powerful; when our desire becomes one with His desire, there is a powerful and unstoppable force that is released as we become one with Him in His will for us. Ephesians 4:3 “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Fourthly there is a place in the heavenly realm where those whose hearts have touched Jesus’ heart meet. This is a real place, more real than any reality that we’ve ever experienced here on earth. You will find people there whose prayer originates from many distant lands, somehow they form a spiritual connection and come together in the bond of peace, while in their efforts to ascend into the hill of the Lord and touch the heart of God. They begin their journey with a simple desire for interceding on behalf of what is in the heart of Jesus at that time. Somehow they all interconnect, they arrived into what is called the unity of the Spirit, when suddenly the Holy Spirit takes them to the base of what is called the hill of the Lord. Once there, they are able to commune one with another in complete trust, being aware of the other intercessors humanity and purpose. You can hear their thoughts and communicate your feelings to them through the same process. To reach the top of the hill of the Lord is the goal, so they press tightly together with one another in order to attain the purpose for which their Lord brought them there. Not all make it to the top at first, for it is a process. And it is that process the reason why I am sharing this aspect of intercession with you right now. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” This Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, meaning that it applies to Jesus, since Jesus is the only perfect human who could fulfilled the requirements stated in the Psalm. But when the intercessors heart becomes one with Jesus’ heart, a pure heart, that is when the intercessor is brought into the base of the hill of the Lord and ascend into the desires of God’s heart. In order for this pureness of heart to take effect, there has to be a cleanness of hands. Idolatries are the issue here, idolatry is the worship of a substitute god, usually the worship of self, or selfish ambitions, all of which defiles the human heart. We can pray the will of God and be in an idolatrous condition, but we can never pray the heart of God in such an idolatrous state, for idolatry is what keeps us from knowing His heart. Hence the ultimate goal of an intercessor should be to rid themselves of all traces of idolatry within their hearts in order to attained the heart of God. You have to begin with the truth, by being true to yourself, truth is the only thing that can make you free. The word sworn, as in sworn deceitfully, literally means to seven oneself, so that it has to do with a custom or ritual, some practice that takes place on regular intervals, a custom that is based on the perversion of the truth, that in reality is idolatry. Such traditional practices will be the hardest of all things to get rid of in your Christian life, because such practices are deeply embedded into modern day Christian liturgy. Truth leads us into the will of God, which in turn leads us into the truth of the purpose of God, which in turn takes us into the very heart of God. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” If the goal of intercession is to bring to the earth what is God’s will in heaven, so that God’s purpose for the inhabitants of the earth can be accomplished, and if the best way to accomplish that ministry is to have the very heart of God within our hearts, is it not then necessary that Jesus be lifted up from the earth? You see, if we are proclaiming Jesus’ heart to the world, how can we do so effectively if we ourselves are soiled with the very earthly customs that profane His holy name, since we still have regard for those customs and patronized them? The devil is no match for the name of Jesus, all a believer has to do is to proclaim that precious name of Jesus, and no matter what his circumstances are, Jesus will answer him. But if we are swearing deceitfully by profaning the name that is above every name, by equating His holy name with some ancient pagan festival festering with idolatry, then the devil will not fear those who profane Jesus’ holy name, for by doing so they have placed themselves into the bottom of the heap of rubbish that hell itself is built on. John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? The true servants that follow Jesus, for those who follow Jesus are with Jesus where He is, and Jesus is on the top of the hill of the Lord. What a privilege it is to make intercession on behalf of the saints in the very presence of His Majesty on High. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE YEAR OF MY REDEEMED | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches that the children of faith see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, but the world’s concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. Top of Page THE YEAR OF MY REDEEMED Isaiah 63:4 “For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.” Only in the Bible do we find this concept of vengeance and redemption so closely tied together, and to those who are worldly, this duality is very difficult to comprehend. While we, the children of faith, see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, the world's concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. To understand this duality, we need to understand the concept of justice. Psalm 96:13 “For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.” If you read the entire chapter, you will notice that there is a lot of singing and blessings and praise and offerings and worship, offered to the Lord throughout the entire Psalm 96, before it reaches the last verse which we just quoted, in regards to the judgment of the world. If you have been victimized by someone, when the legal authorities show up to intervene, you are happy, for the authorities come to assist those who have been victimize and to arrest those who were doing the victimizing. However, if you are the law breaker and are the one who is victimizing others, when you see the police show up, you just want to get away as soon as possible, for if they arrest you, you will have to go before the magistrate that will sentence you with the punishment that your crime deserves. So it is that the return of our Lord will always be awaited and celebrated by those who are the oppressed, and it is dreaded by those who are the oppressors. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” Simply put, the Lord will judge the peoples with His truth. But the truth is that we are all sinners, and we all fall short of the grace of God. Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” So then why were all those folks in Psalm 96 rejoicing so much about the return of the Lord to judge all the peoples with His truth? Psalm 96:2 “Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Those who greatly rejoice about the return of our Lord to the earth, do so, because they have heard and accepted the good news of His salvation. For they know that when He returns, He is coming to deliver those who called upon His name and who have accepted God’s free offer of salvation. Psalm 97:10 “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” The good news is this: God loves us even though we fall short of His grace, He demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus to die for all our sins. His unconditional love for us compels us to receive His offer of forgiveness and to love Him and trust Him in return. So that when we hear about His soon return, we dot not fret, but rather rejoice in the fact that He is coming to deliver us from this world of sin, and from the hand of the wicked one that continuously oppress us. But to those who have rejected His good news, and have chosen the pleasures of sin for a season, His return can only mean one thing, swift and complete judgment is at hand. Isaiah 63:3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes.” The day of His vengeance and the year of His redeemed have to do with those who are His enemies and with those who are His saints. For He has caused His good news to travel all around the world, He has anointed His Word and revealed His love for us. Those who love Him and hate evil, He will come for and deliver them out of this world. Those who have resisted and rejected the anointed good news, will be judged as enemies who deserve to be destroyed. Isaiah 63:10 “But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; so He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them.” This may very well be the year of His redeemed, are you ready? Here is a checklist of things that may help us identify whether we are ready for His return if it were to happen this year. Are you inwardly being restrained in your faith and the profession of it? Are you afraid or ashamed to openly declare your faith in Jesus? Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” You be surprised to know how many people struggle with publicly professing their faith in Jesus, normally in the maturity process we eventually grow bold and overcome those fears. But if this is the year of His redeemed, you may not have that luxury. So, you better begin to make up your mind right now to declare His name openly and without fear. For as His return nears, we have no time for timidity, since we are commanded in: Psalm 96:2 “...Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Today, right now, would be a good time to start proclaiming His good news from day to day. Do you acknowledge Him as the Creator of heaven and earth? Do you acknowledge Him as your heavenly Father, and Jesus His only begotten Son as your redeemer? The world’s aim is to bring doubt into our hearts and minds. The so-called knowledge of the sciences is the vehicle that the devil uses to enter into our minds with his load of doubts. We need to know what the Word of God teaches about the sciences. Colossian 2:8-10 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Science teaches about the things that exist from the point of view of man’s limited understanding. We on the other hand, know the Creator, we believe in the creative power of His uncompromising Word. Do you call on His holy name? Did you know that salvation cannot be attained under any name or anything that is named, except in the name of Jesus? Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” It is all about Jesus my friends, and if this turns out to be the year when He returns to redeem His saints, let us, we the saints, never cease to profess, to acknowledge, and to proclaim His wonderful name boldly! Psalm 107:2 “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THEREFORE WE HOPED | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teach on Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Top of Page THEREFORE WE HOPED But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” What is hope made of? According to our opening Scripture the God of hope is able to fill us with all joy and peace in believing, and it is also able to endue us with power from the Holy Spirit. We could say that hope is the key ingredient that allows us to live a life that is confident and secured in the promises that God has given to each and everyone of us. When all else is lost, hope remains! As a matter of fact, hope even triumphs in those who feel that they have lost all hope—when against all hope, they hope anyway. Romans 4:18 “Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed…” We get a sense then, that hope is that indispensable gift that remains, even after all else is lost. So that if we had to choose which of the many qualities that makes up hope is the greatest, undoubtedly, we would all agree that the fact that hope can never be truly lost is the greatest of all of its qualities. We could say then that hope is like a default setting that has been placed inside each and everyone of us. No matter how much we mess up and deviate from God’s original plan for our lives and therefore end up losing everything, we can always turn to the default setting of hope and start all over again. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The seed of hope brings forth a blooming faith. Were it not for hope, no one could start a new life after wasting a previous one. In order for a new beginning to be successful it has to start in a positive note, so hope brings not only faith, but joy and peace as well. We could say then that hope is a repellent against bitterness, anger, and fear, all those things that would hinder a new beginning. Now here is a mystery, how can hope and a new beginning be part of my daily Christian walk? 1 Corinthians 15:31 “I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” The salvation of our souls requires that we die daily to ourselves and that we also die daily to our own selfish desires. The only way that a person is able to truly die daily to their own self-interests is if they live their lives in the hope that Christ’s plan for their lives is better for them, than the plan that this world is offering them. So that our hope of a better life from Christ, brings to us the daily dose of faith that its needed to make it through each day, no matter what evil that day may bring with it. But also, if we die daily, that means that we start anew daily. So that hope springs new and eternal every morning, leaving yesterday’s failures, and the thoughts about them, behind. Lamentations 3:22-23 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” And that is the source of our joy and peace, the fact that we get a brand new start each and every day, for His compassions for us never fail. Think of a steep climb and of reaching the top of the hill as the goal. At the base we start with two climbers, one is strong, powerful, and highly skilled in climbing difficult terrains, his only flaw is that if he falls just once, he has been known to give up the climb and quit. The other is prone to falling down, and not very skilled as a climber, but he has one great quality going for him, no matter how many time he falls, he will not give up the climb! Human nature gives up in the face of failure, however, hope thrives in the face of failure, for it does not carry failure over from one day to another, it sees each new day as a brand new start with an opportunity to conquer unconquered ground. Psalm 119:147 “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word.” The essence of hope, is that hope, is the essence of God and His Word. Romans 15:4 “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience (perseverance) and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” It does not really matter what our last fall might be before the Lord returns to take us all home, the only thing that will matter then will be the fact that even in the face of our daily failings it was found that….
