House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 19:2 “For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; Top of Page THE GREAT HARLOT Revelation 19:2 “For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” The book of Revelation follows a two-fold path; it brings forth separately, the spiritual perspective and the physical perspective of the matter that is being presented. For example, in chapters one through three of Revelation, we are given the physical perspective of the church age, while chapters four through six, gives us the spiritual perspective of the same church age. In chapter seven we see the conjunction of the spiritual and physical presentation of the church age, as God brings down its final conclusion with the rapture of the church and the resurrection of the dead. Revelation 6:14 “Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up (the wall of separation between the spiritual and the physical realms is removed as we enter into chapter seven) …” Then we see the spiritual revelation of the ministry of the Two Witnesses in chapters eight and nine. And in chapters ten and eleven we see the days of their ministry through the physical perspective, so on and so forth: For the complete sequence read my book Man’s Final Destiny on the books section of houseoffaithministries.org web-page. The reason why I shared this is because there is a parenthesis that interrupts this pattern. It is found in chapters seventeen and eighteen, where God deals specifically with this entity whom He calls the great harlot, who corrupts the earth with her fornication. Revelation 17:5 “And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Who is this entity and what is her function that God devotes two entire chapters in His dealings with her? Number one, she is a mystery. Something that has to be revealed or exposed in order to be understood. Number two, she is a spiritual power to be reckoned with: Babylon the great is symbolic of a powerful, all encompassing, mystery religion. Number three, she is the originator or mother of all the false doctrines, and of all the abominable things that corrupt the entire earth. What is the connection between this great harlot and the devil? Revelation 17:3 “So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” The beast that this woman is riding on, is the devil himself. In this case John sees the great harlot riding the antichrist, whom the devil has fully possessed at this point in time. Revelation 17:8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition…” The antichrist is the beast that rises out of the bottomless pit. His name is Abiram—which means exalted father—since according to Daniel he will exalt and magnify himself above every demonic entity called gods. Daniel 11:36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god (demon/unclean spirit).” Let me take a minute to explain what is going on here. In chapters seventeen and eighteen, we see the culmination of this unholy and demonic allegiance between the devil and the harlot. The devil has never been popular with a majority of the people of the earth, at any given point in time. In order to be accepted by the populace, he cloaks himself with religious appeal, and through deceptive doctrines and corrupts the entire earth with his abominable teachings. In order to achieve that, he needed an army of demonic entities to assist him. These demons are called saints in order to appeal to the masses. For thousands of years people have worshiped the devil—the majority of them unaware—through religious rituals aimed to deceive those who practice them, into thinking that they were worshipping the real God. Thereby causing them to commit spiritual adultery through their idol worship, which is an abomination to God. Revelation 17:15 “Then he said to me, ‘The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.’” Religion and politics go together hand in glove, if the leaders of a nation can control and manipulate what their people believe, they can also control how their citizens behave! So as you can see the devil is heavily invested in the business of religion, for he is in the business of trying to control how people behave. The only problem with that is, that the devil has always hated having to share with his demonic cohorts the adulation that he feels should be only his, but without them he could not have deceived the world into worshipping him. After the devil possesses the antichrist, once he arrives here on physical earth—after being with him in the pit since the days of Moses—the devil does not need his old demonic hordes any longer, so he refuses to share with them the glory and adulation which he believes are his alone. He now, like Jesus, has a physical and eternal human body which he can present to the people. Unlike Jesus, he will force everybody to bow down to him and to worship his image, if not, he will have them beheaded, since he now presides over the governing authorities which have ruled over all the inhabitants of the world. Revelation 17:12-13 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” The beast that you saw was, is a reference to the antichrist before he was taken down to the pit alive during Korah’s rebellion against Moses. Numbers 16:30 “But if the Lord creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men (Dathan and Abiram) have rejected the Lord (have entered into their final judgment).” The ground opened up and swallowed all of them alive, and they all perished, they all died—except for the two men who insulted the Lord by not presenting themselves before the Lord’s Presence as Moses had required of them, that was the new thing that the Lord created that day. Numbers 16:25-26 “Then Moses rose and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him. And he spoke to the congregation, saying, ‘Depart now from the tents of these wicked men (Dathan and Abiram)! Touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.’” The reason that we can know with certainty that Dathan and Abiram are the false prophet and the antichrist, and that they are raised and released physically from the bottomless pit, is because when Jesus defeats them at His return, they are not killed—since they have already died and have been judged by God, so when they are captured, they are immediately thrown alive into the Lake of Fire which is the second and final death. Revelation 19:20-21 “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse…” The only way that we can answer the question as to why the false prophet and the antichrist were not killed by the sword as the others were, is because they were already dead and judged by God, and in possession of their eternal physical bodies. Which by the way, is the selling point that the antichrist uses to deceive the many who will follow him, the fact that he cannot not be killed even after receiving a fatal blow to the head. Revelation 13:12 “And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And is not, makes it very clear that the antichrist in not in the world right now, for he will not ascend from the bottomless pit until after the rapture takes place, when the sky recedes like a scroll and the Two Witnesses come back to the earth to finish their ministry. Until then, the great harlot will continue to do the devil’s bidding on this earth. It is imperative for us to know who the real enemy is, and that he is behind every evil thing. Do not think that what may seem to us like harmless or old traditions as something that cannot hurt us. Proverbs 7:26-27 “For she (the great harlot) has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death.” Revelation 17:6 “I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus…” The sin of idolatry which is harlotry, is nothing to play with, or to take lightly. Those who refuse to renounce her ways and the traditions by which she ensnares so many, will find their spiritual vision becoming blurry, and their spiritual ears becoming dull. House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches that the children of faith see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, but the world’s concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. Top of Page THE YEAR OF MY REDEEMED Isaiah 63:4 “For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.” Only in the Bible do we find this concept of vengeance and redemption so closely tied together, and to those who are worldly, this duality is very difficult to comprehend. While we, the children of faith, see Jesus and His soon return as our redemption drawing near, the world's concept of His return to the earth evokes fear and judgment, for they see Him as a vengeful God. To understand this duality, we need to understand the concept of justice. Psalm 96:13 “For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.” If you read the entire chapter, you will notice that there is a lot of singing and blessings and praise and offerings and worship, offered to the Lord throughout the entire Psalm 96, before it reaches the last verse which we just quoted, in regards to the judgment of the world. If you have been victimized by someone, when the legal authorities show up to intervene, you are happy, for the authorities come to assist those who have been victimize and to arrest those who were doing the victimizing. However, if you are the law breaker and are the one who is victimizing others, when you see the police show up, you just want to get away as soon as possible, for if they arrest you, you will have to go before the magistrate that will sentence you with the punishment that your crime deserves. So it is that the return of our Lord will always be awaited and celebrated by those who are the oppressed, and it is dreaded by those who are the oppressors. Psalm 97:2 “Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.” Simply put, the Lord will judge the peoples with His truth. But the truth is that we are all sinners, and we all fall short of the grace of God. Psalm 14:1 “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” So then why were all those folks in Psalm 96 rejoicing so much about the return of the Lord to judge all the peoples with His truth? Psalm 96:2 “Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Those who greatly rejoice about the return of our Lord to the earth, do so, because they have heard and accepted the good news of His salvation. For they know that when He returns, He is coming to deliver those who called upon His name and who have accepted God’s free offer of salvation. Psalm 97:10 “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” The good news is this: God loves us even though we fall short of His grace, He demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus to die for all our sins. His unconditional love for us compels us to receive His offer of forgiveness and to love Him and trust Him in return. So that when we hear about His soon return, we dot not fret, but rather rejoice in the fact that He is coming to deliver us from this world of sin, and from the hand of the wicked one that continuously oppress us. But to those who have rejected His good news, and have chosen the pleasures of sin for a season, His return can only mean one thing, swift and complete judgment is at hand. Isaiah 63:3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes.” The day of His vengeance and the year of His redeemed have to do with those who are His enemies and with those who are His saints. For He has caused His good news to travel all around the world, He has anointed His Word and revealed His love for us. Those who love Him and hate evil, He will come for and deliver them out of this world. Those who have resisted and rejected the anointed good news, will be judged as enemies who deserve to be destroyed. Isaiah 63:10 “But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; so He turned Himself against them as an enemy, and He fought against them.” This may very well be the year of His redeemed, are you ready? Here is a checklist of things that may help us identify whether we are ready for His return if it were to happen this year. Are you inwardly being restrained in your faith and the profession of it? Are you afraid or ashamed to openly declare your faith in Jesus? Matthew 10:32-33 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” You be surprised to know how many people struggle with publicly professing their faith in Jesus, normally in the maturity process we eventually grow bold and overcome those fears. But if this is the year of His redeemed, you may not have that luxury. So, you better begin to make up your mind right now to declare His name openly and without fear. For as His return nears, we have no time for timidity, since we are commanded in: Psalm 96:2 “...Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Today, right now, would be a good time to start proclaiming His good news from day to day. Do you acknowledge Him as the Creator of heaven and earth? Do you acknowledge Him as your heavenly Father, and Jesus His only begotten Son as your redeemer? The world’s aim is to bring doubt into our hearts and minds. The so-called knowledge of the sciences is the vehicle that the devil uses to enter into our minds with his load of doubts. We need to know what the Word of God teaches about the sciences. Colossian 2:8-10 “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Science teaches about the things that exist from the point of view of man’s limited understanding. We on the other hand, know the Creator, we believe in the creative power of His uncompromising Word. Do you call on His holy name? Did you know that salvation cannot be attained under any name or anything that is named, except in the name of Jesus? Acts 4:12 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” It is all about Jesus my friends, and if this turns out to be the year when He returns to redeem His saints, let us, we the saints, never cease to profess, to acknowledge, and to proclaim His wonderful name boldly! Daniel 9:2-19 “In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to (Joel the prophet, that in the last days You would pour out of your spirit on all flesh) Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to (in our present situation) Jerusalem. Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. The LORD did not hesitate to bring the disaster upon us, for the LORD our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him. Now, O Lord our God, who (saved us) brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from (us your church) Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us. Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) shows we can learn from Jacob’s experience is that spiritual portals have been revealed to us. We can be standing right next to one, and in the natural we would not have a clue that it is even there. Top of Page GATES: SPIRITUAL PORTALS Genesis 28:16-19 “Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.’ And he was afraid and said, ‘how awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven (spiritual portal)!’ Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. And he called the name of that place Bethel (house of God); but the name of that city had been Luz previously.” From the experience of Jacob that is recorded in the Scripture above, we can glean a tremendous amount of information in regards to the nature and function of spiritual portal s, otherwise known as gates. Gates Have to be Revealed! As soon as Jacob awoke from his dream, astonished by the presence of God that was there, his comment was, I did not know it. What he meant was that he had spent time in that place previous to going to sleep, and had it not been for the dream that revealed to him the significance of that place, in the natural, he would have never known that a spiritual portal existed right there in his encampment. So that the first thing we learn from Jacob’s experience is that spiritual portals have to be revealed to us. We can be standing right next to one, and in the natural we would not have a clue that it is even there. Gates are to be Respected! Now the next paragraph in the story tells us why perhaps these gates are hidden out of our natural sight, He was afraid. In nature there are places that are common and places that are special. Places of special significance are set apart because of their beauty or maybe, their historical value, or something that makes them special. So that out of respect, these certain areas are protected from common use. It is the same in the spiritual realm, wherever there is a spiritual portal, God attaches a special significance to that place, so that to those that are made aware of their existence, an awesome sense of fear and respect for that place arises within them instantly. Gates are Awesome Places! Jacob knew immediately after waking up that this place was no ordinary place, in astonishment he uttered this words, how awesome is this place. What made this place awesome to Jacob was that he found God’s presence there. We find this to be truth, that wherever there is a spiritual portal, the presence of God will be there in Spirit form. Gates are Openings into the Spiritual Realm! The physical and spiritual realm, though intertwined, are separated by walls that do not allow much interaction between the two, it is only through gate of heaven passages that such interaction is allowed to take place. Gates are to be Anointed! These gates of heavenly passages are special, not only for their importance, rarity, awesomeness, as well as for the access that they afford us to the Spirit of God, but also for the anointing that flows from them; because through these open gates God’s anointing flows. Jacob poured oil on top of it to signify that fact, for it was well known to our forefathers that it is the anointing that breaks the yoke. Gates Have Names that Designate their Assignment! As Jacob poured oil upon the rock that had been his pillow while having the dream, he called that place Bethel which means house of God, to designate that this was a gate that lead to God’s dwelling place, since he had witnessed God’s holy angels ascending and descending to the very throne of God. Gates are a Place of Spiritual Enlightenment! God’s anointing equates to God’s enlightenment, so that when an open gate is revealed, if those to whom the portal is revealed follow the proper protocol; I mean, they respect it, their in awe of their significance, they realized that a door has been opened for them to access the spiritual realm, they anoint it or make it special in their hearts. Then, their understanding will be opened to the nature (name) of that opening and they will be able to appropriate its functions. But the name of that city had been Luz previously. Although Jacob called that place Bethel or the house of God, due to his personal experience there, that place had being previously named Luz which means light or enlightenment. So that gates may go by different names to those who have their own experience, yet the function of the gate will certainly be the same. Acts 17:26-28 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being...” Gates are all Over the Earth! Wherever men have settled on all the face of the earth, God has placed gates, and has determined their pre-appointed times, and according to His wisdom, He has set up the boundaries of their dwellings for the purpose of enticing men to seek the Lord, to seek His anointing, to seek His enlightenment, to grope for Him (if they have to, like a blind person would) and find Him, although He is never far from us. What Happens if we Find a Gate? Isaiah 28:6 “For a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and for strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.” God’s enlightenment will always lead us to make the right decisions. In other words, the spirit of justice allows us to make the right judgments. The anointing on the other hand, enables us with the strength needed to turn back the spiritual battle at the source, before it gets near to us. Isaiah 29:21 “Those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court (the gate) and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.” Where is it that Satan makes his accusations against us? Is it not before the heavenly court, which is just another name for gate or portal? Do we not have access to the same heavenly court with our very own advocate by our side, even Jesus? So here is a revelation, we just found an open gate, and is the name of Jesus that grants us access to God’s heavenly court, where we can silence our accusing enemy with the blood of Jesus and by the word of our testimony. Amos 7:13 “But never again prophesy at Bethel, for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the royal residence.” Centuries later, at Bethel, a wicked king tried to silence one of God’s prophets from accessing the gate at the house of God. Read the response of the holy prophet. Amos 7:12-17 “Then Amaziah said to Amos: ‘Go, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah. There eat bread, and there prophesy. But never again prophesy at Bethel, For it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is the royal residence.’ Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah: ‘I was no prophet, nor was I a son of a prophet, but I was a sheep-breeder and a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said to me,’ ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’ Now therefore, hear the word of the LORD: you say, ‘Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not spout against the house of Isaac.’ Therefore thus says the LORD: ‘Your wife shall be a harlot in the city; your sons and daughters shall fall by the sword; your land shall be divided by survey line; you shall die in a defiled land; and Israel shall surely be led away captive from his own land.’” Is that the way to talk to a priest or what? Amos, being a true prophet of the Living God, was under the anointing and enlightenment of God, as such, he understood the severity of the charges against him, by no less than the priest of Bethel, the very man who sat at the spiritual gate of the city, who was trying hard to silence him. The priest of Bethel was in violation of God’s Word according to Isaiah: those who with a word make a man out to be guilty. So that Amos rebuke and judgment against priest Amaziah was swift and harsh. I guess we can say that he nipped it on the bud, before it left the gate. Is it not what this lesson is all about? To silence the enemy and the avenger at the gate? 1 Corinthians 2:14-15 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual (battles at the gate) judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” Glory to God, in Jesus mighty name we thank you Lord for awesome is Your name, and awesome is Your presence at the gate. Top of Page Top of Page THE LORD WAITS For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Isaiah 30:18 “Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you: and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.” What a beautiful revelation of God’s grace and mercy toward us, and how He, who patiently waits for us to be ready to receive His mercy and grace, blesses us when we faithfully wait for Him in return—to return. Notice first of all that God is presented here as, For the Lord is a God of justice. And secondly that He is Gracious and May have mercy on you. The Lord waits, that means that He longs for us to be ready to receive His grace and mercy, which can only be received by accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. For only in Jesus can the Lord of Justice freely dispense His mercy and His grace to those who do not deserve it. Hebrews 1:8 “But to the Son He says: ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of (justice) righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.’” Only Jesus can dispense God’s justice—which includes His mercy and His grace—for it was with His own blood that Jesus paid in full the entirety of all human sins. That is why the Lord waits for humans to come to their senses, repent, and receive the mercy and grace that He has made available to all who believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins. Isaiah 30:15 “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In returning (repentance) and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.’ But you would not.” The reality is that many choose to reject the Lord’s free offer of salvation. But that does not deter God, for He waits—even to our last breath—for us to enter into His rest. But there is a very specific blessing that is attached to those, who like God who is patient, learn to be patient, and in quietness and confidence wait as the Lord waits, and in the process they end up renewing the strength of their salvation. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” A truth that many Christians do not know, is that God has assigned a very specific blessing to those who eagerly wait for His return: Blessed are all those who wait for Him. Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is He who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Revelation 22:20 “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” What is this very specific blessing all about? I believe this to be a three-fold blessing that applies to those who eagerly await for the Lord to return and to take them home to be with Him. The first blessing assures us of the removal of all our sorrows. The second blessing guarantees that He hears us at the very sound of our cry for help. The third blessing is an anointing for learning spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:19 “For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.” The first-fold blessing is, You shall weep no more! No more sorrows. Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the Lord has spoken.” The main root of sorrow is hopelessness; Jesus nailed sorrow on the cross and after He rose from the dead, He spoiled its fruit of hopelessness. Those who truly await the return of Jesus and the resurrection of the saints, have abolished all sorrows from their lives, for sorrow has to do with loss, and every thing that we’ve surrendered to Jesus, He is able to keep safe and secured until it is restored back to us. Matthew 6:20 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” How can a person who is not even sure that Jesus is physically coming back to this earth, to restore to us all the good things that we have lost for His sake, be without sorrow? For where there is no hope, sorrow remains. Isaiah 65:23 “They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.” Clearly Isaiah is referring to the Kingdom Age of which all of God’s saints will be a part of. The first part of the three-fold blessing given to the descendants of the blessed, is the blessing of restoration. So that we do not sorrow like those who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep (died), lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.” Those who eagerly await for the return of Jesus are waiting for the promised restoration as well—no loss, no sorrow! The second-fold blessing has to do with the assurance that God hears us. Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.” Faith comes as the result of that which we are hoping for. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance (realization) of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.” If we dare to believe that Jesus is coming soon to restore all things, and we live our lives based on that hope, then surely, we know that at any point in time—if we cry out to Him—that He will hear us. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (faith, hope and love).” The third-fold blessing is the anointing for spiritual discernment. Isaiah 30:20 “And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction (oppression), yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers.” If our hope is in the resurrection from the dead and the return of Jesus to implement God’s final restoration, then adversity and affliction are nothing more than teachers that God uses to train us as to the hearing of His voice. Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” Who would have thought that having a firm belief about the soon return of Jesus Christ would be so beneficial to us? It is like waiting to be seated at a crowded restaurant on mother’s day, and they give you a gizmo that lights up and vibrates when your turn has come. Those of us who eagerly await for our Lord to appear have been given an array of very wonderful blessings. Philippians 3:20-21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” So, we wait, patiently, hopefully, and faithfully for our Lord to return. But we do so with the hope that everyday that He delays His return, we become more cheerful, more secure in the fact that He hears us, and more intuitive about our high spiritual calling. Top of Page Top of Page PSALM 133: THE POWER OF UNITY Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 9/23/2023 Psalm 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” In unity we find the demonstration of the power of the Grace of Jesus in conjunction with the acceptance of the Love of God, all rolled into one in the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 13:14 “The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion (fellowship) of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” The grace of Jesus and the love of God flourish when we share them through communion or fellowship with one another. As my spiritual father, the Rev. Herb Ezell used to say: “Christian fellowship is just as important as Christian worship”. He understood that to love one another and to share with one another is in esse nce an act of Christian worship. God compares the act of brethren dwelling together in unity with the pouring of precious oil upon the head, and having that oil running down to the beard, even down to the edge of His High Priest’s garments. Psalm 133:2 “It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.” The spiritual application of the anointing with oil is that it begins with the head. Jesus of course is the head—in this case it begins with the demonstration of the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why? Because we are all humans and as we come in contact with one another on a regular basis God’s Grace is indispensible. While we were still sinners Christ died for us, and while we are still imperfect His grace stays with us who have been born again and are part of His church, the church of the firstborn. Hebrews 12:23 “To the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect .” We believers were made just or righteous because of the grace of God and the blood of Jesus, while our perfection is still a work in progress; we have the love of God to sustain us, but it is up to us represented by the beard and the garment to allow that anointing oil to flow through us and give us the grace to love and accept one another along with our imperfections. Psalm 133:3 “It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forever more .” John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly .” Many of us have the life of Christ because we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, but sadly, many of us lack the abundant life that has been promised to us. At the end of Psalm 133 we are given the key that unlocks the secret to the abundant spiritual life that we desire: There the Lord commanded the blessing—Life forever more.” Where? It is the flowing of the anointing oil that breaks the yoke of oppression! And as we abide in this Spirit of unity, the blessings that God commanded are released upon His holy people, even those who abide in the power of His grace, live and are sustained by the demonstration of His love towards us and are willing to live in the fellowship of His Holy Spirit. Top of Page THEY SEEK THE DEAD THAT WILL NOT RISE Isaiah 8:19 “And when they say to you, ‘Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,’ should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?” I believe that the main reason why God is going to bring total and complete destruction upon the earth and all its inhabitants during His Day of Wrath, is to rid it and its human population from the demonic infestation that in now present, both on the earth and on humanity itself, because humanity has opened so many doors to the underworld that there is no other way to cleanse the earth or its people. Isaiah 24:5-6 “The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate (held guilty). Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned (with the fire of purification), and few men are left.” During the days before the flood of Noah there was an opened door that allowed easy access between the humans that dwelled on the earth at that time, and the creatures that inhabit the demonic realm, the underworld, or the place of the dead, for the creatures that inhabit that realm are and will forever be separated from God, which is what real death is. Due to the fact that the humans of those days lived life spans of nine hundred years or more, it was easy for these demonic entities who are eternal, to manipulate the human genome for the purpose of creating hybrids through whom they could rule the world, since the physiology of these demons is not suited for them to operate here on the earth. So that they created for themselves a physical hybrid of human bodies that they entered into and indwelled for the purpose of ruling over the humans to whom it was originally given the dominium over the earth. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” Genesis 6:4-5 “There were giants (nephillim, fallen or mighty ones) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (like superheroes who possess supernatural powers). Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Since demons, or fallen angels, do not have physical bodies with which they could impregnate a woman, the only way that they could have women bare them children would be through artificial insemination, demonic dna mixed with human dna to bring about a physical body that was suited for its demonic host. Daniel 2:43 “As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” Daniel is prophesying about the end of time, our present day, where genetic engineering is a reality, and in Genesis we are told that not only before the flood this was taking place but also afterward, that is why human longevity was so drastically reduced after the flood. Imagine a time when women lived over nine hundred years, and were fertile for most of their adult life, conceivably they could produce children that are hundreds of years apart, a geneticist dream that would become a nightmare in a society hell bent in creating a race of monsters that are clad with superpowers that allows them to do whatever they wanted to, to a race of regular humans that would be at their mercy. That is why the world of old was destroyed, it was contaminated with a demonic infestation that caused the human race to, in the intents of their hearts, dwell on evil continuously, however it is said that Noah was found righteous in his generation. Genesis 6:9, 11 “This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect (blameless, without flaw) in his generations. Noah walked with God...The earth was also corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” So that in the destruction of the flood, God removed the breath of life from every physical human body, hybrid or otherwise, and from every physical creature that had the breath of life in it, for the purpose of ridding the earth of the demonic infestation that was transmitted through the violent and corrupted air that they were breathing, and the violence that was enforced upon the humans by these fallen mighty angels. Only Noah and his seed, and the animals that God selected for the repopulation of the earth, were spared from the global cataclysmic destruction that rid the earth of the demonic infestation of that day. The length of human life was shorten drastically for the purpose of keeping the human generations that would follow, from being so drastically manipulated by future demonic infestations that would surely come as the result of man’s disobedience to the laws of God. Isaiah 26:13-14 “O Lord our God, masters besides You have had dominion over us; but by You only we make mention of Your name. They (the old masters) are dead (in everlasting chains under darkness), they will not live; they are deceased, they will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.” These are the dead that our opening text is warning us not to seek when it says: Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? These hybrids will not rise from the dead on resurrection day, even though they had quasi human bodies, all those humans who died during the flood will rise from the dead on resurrection day, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2, but not them. Real humans have a soul, and all real humans will have to answer to God for the lives that they lived while on this earth, so that all humans that died will be resurrected and answer for their deeds while here on earth; as it is written: It is appointed unto men to die once, then comes the judgment. But these hybrids did not have a soul, for that was part of what was genetically removed from them, so that they could inflict massive pain and mayhem upon humanity at will, yet without a thought of conscience to bother them. Remember that it was said of that generation that their thoughts were evil continuously, that is how callous their hearts became under the demonic influence of those fallen angels. Today these demonic influences are alive and well here on the earth, courtesy of the mediums and wizards who whisper and mutter the old demonic doctrines through our present culture. The evidence points to an increase of cold blooded murders that continue to take place, extremely violent events seemly for no rhyme or reason. In many instances the perpetrators do not seem to have any sense of remorse whatsoever, and in many cases they have a blank stare that makes you wonder how deep have their souls plunged. Isaiah 8:20 “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” If we go back in time to when the courts decided to remove prayer out of our schools, and ask the question of what was it that our children were praying for back then in their classrooms? I heard that their prayers were for the well-being of their parents, their teachers, and the leaders of our nation, that simple. It was not long after that simple petition was removed from our schools that we saw a steep decline in the well-being of the family unit, so that today, even the institution of marriage is under assault. The teachers and the quality of their teaching degraded so much that the decade of the sixties produced a generation of illiterate students that received in many instances a high school diploma that they could not even read. And what shall we say about the government and our elected officials? Not only did we lose a president, JFK, to violence in the sixties, but we also lost a war with thousands dead and hundreds of thousands of Americans injured, both physically and mentally. And can anybody honestly say that it has gotten better today? Right now our government is partially closed, there is a debt crisis looming that if it is not resolved our nation will default on its debt obligation for the first time in its history. But the worst thing that we are having to deal with is the hatred that its so rampant between Americans today; is it any wonder that the ones that are hated the most in our nation right now are those of us who believe in the Bible? For they do not want to hear what our last verse of Scripture told us, To the law and to the testimony! And that is because our nation is under the demonic influence of the same dead and imprisoned demons of long ago, whose doctrines of death have been brought to life because we as a nation have turned our backs on the sound doctrines of our Judeo Christian values upon which our nation as well as most of the western nations were founded. Isaiah 8:21-22 “They will pass through it hard pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry (for things to go right) that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward. Then they will look to the earth, and see trouble and darkness, gloom and anguish; and they will be driven into darkness.” It is inevitable that our Lord has to come one more time to rid us and the earth of all these demonic influences that are destroying the very fabric of our society today, hopefully our waiting will not be long. Malachi 3:1-2 “Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way for Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming, says the Lord of hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? In this lesson we will share with you a few points that all believers should know about curses and how they operate. Let us begin with the fact that curses are real, and that they have a real negative impact on those upon whom they land. Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.” The verse above is the summation of what Paul calls the curse of the law in his letter to the Galatians. Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 28-30 , that God was giving them a choice between blessings and cursing, and that by their decision to uphold or reject the promises that God was giving to them—either by their actions or by their neglect—that they would place themselves to receive the blessings or cursing as a result of what they chose to believe. Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” There is n o in between when one belongs to God, and as it is written: The earth is the Lord...and all who dwell in it. Psalm 24:1 Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Let us ask this question from the New Testament perspective, Is the curse of the law active today against the human race? 1 Corinthians 16:22 “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (anathema). O Lord come!” Jesus Christ is the only One who has the power to redeem us from the curse of the law, so that all who are outside of Christ are still under the curse of the law. That is why Paul adds the phrase, O Lord come into those who do not yet know You so that they can be delivered from the curse of the law (interpretation mine). Paul knew that without Christ, who bore our curse on the cross—cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree—there can be no hope of redemption from all the curses stated in the law. From the New Testament perspective again we ask this question, Are all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord automatically delivered from all the curses stated in the law? Legally, yes! Practically, no! How do we know? Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” In practicality the nature of how the curses operate does not change, what changes is the legal rights of those who are still under the consequences of the curse of the law, but who have now been redeemed by Christ Jesus. Deliverance from the consequences of many of the curses has to be appropriated; we know some of the consequences are removed automatically when we get saved, while others are removed as we properly practice and partake of the sacraments, like water baptism and holy communion. Deuteronomy 28:60 “Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.” Sickness and diseases come as the result of the curse of the law, when we get saved, we do not automatically get healed, although legally, we are already healed as soon as Christ comes into our hearts. 1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose striped you were healed.” In Christ—legally speaking—God does not consider us to be under the curse of the law any longer, but since God is not mocked, as long as we not having died to sins continue to live for unrighteousness, then the sickness and the diseases of the curse of the law shall cling continuously unless and until they are dealt with according to the Scriptures. James 5:14-16 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save (deliver from the consequences of the curse) the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Once in Christ, a way of escape from the consequences of the curse of the law is made available to the believer who wants to turn his/her life around so that they might live for righteousness sake. According to a book written by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond, who were considered to be pioneers in the deliverance ministry in the last century, there are eight basic laws that govern curses. For the benefit of those who are in Christ but still struggle with the consequences of the curse of the law, I will now list the eight principles that they believed and taught, govern all curses. 1) THERE IS A CAUSE FOR EVERY CURSE. Proverbs 26:2 “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.” 2) SIN IS THE GATEWAY FOR THE CURSE. Genesis 3:14 “Because you have done this, you are cursed…” 3) A CURSE IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE REMEDIED BY NATURAL MEANS. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows (seeks for a solution from the Holy Spirit) to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” 4) WHERE SIN REMAINS THE CURSE REMAINS. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn form their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 5) THE POWER OF A CURSE IS DEMONIC. Genesis 4:7 “If you do well (do the right thing), will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin (demons are the power behind the sinful act) lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 6) THE LAW PROVIDED NO REMEDY FOR THE CURSE. Galatians 3:10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.’” 7) CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. Galatians 3:10 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” 8) THE REDEMPTION MUST BE APPROPRIATED. Genesis 22:16-18 “...By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice (and were willing to forfeit the most precious thing that you had in order to obtain the promise).” The eight points are quoted directly from the author, as well as many of the Scriptures he quoted to make his point, but the explanations in brackets which are not part of Scripture are mine. We conclude then that curses are still part of everyday life for all who do not love Jesus Christ, and that for many who believe in Him, curses are still a part that affects them negatively. What then, shall a believer do, who wants to be freed from the consequences of the curses that he/she brought upon themselves by their lawless deeds, or about the iniquity that they have inherited by the lawless deeds of their ancestors, which still affects them today? Galatians 5:16 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” How do we walk in the Spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no (curse of the) law.” To walk in the Spirit, one must walk in obedience to the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Works of the flesh are the mark of selfish ambitions, to which all of the curses are attached. All spiritual fruit leads to self-control which bear the mark of the flesh that has been crucified with all its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Spiritual fruit cannot be cursed because it is blessed by God. Our next verse of Scripture tells us the precise moment when it happens. Revelation 6:16-17 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” John tells us when it will happen in the book of Revelation, and Paul tells us why it will happen in his letter to the Romans. In Romans chapter one Paul is laying down a charge against the nations of the world, and his letter is addressed to all who are in Rome, the capital of the Roman empire. Romans 1:5, 7 “Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name...To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints…” In our opening Scripture Paul reveals the foundation or count number one, we might say, of God’s charge against humanity; suppression of the truth. Since the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save people from their sins, then those who suppress the proclamation of the Gospel of Truth are guilty of the blood of all those who end up in hell. Romans 1:17 “For in it (the Gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’” Of course, during Paul’s day the persecution of the saints, those who accepted the truth of God, was tremendous, for they were compelled at their conversion to turn away from idolatry and to be delivered from the demons that lurked behind the idols they had been worshiping. But there is also a futuristic aspect to the charges that Paul is laying down in his indictment of the human race, for he says that since the creation of the world this suppression of the truth has been taking place, so that there has to be a future end to it. Romans 1:19-20 “Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead (divine nature, deity), so that they are without excuse.” The They are without excuse, are all those who suppress the truth that it is clearly manifested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, be it in self-suppression, that is suppressing the truth within themselves, or in a greater plane, suppressing the Gospel within their own families, communities, or nations. To many who lived on the west and were raised under the Judeo Christian values of just a century ago, the thought of an era of secular humanism, void of God and morals, was a reprehensible idea to say the least, and just look where we are now after two world wars and a myriad of smaller ones. We live in a world where blood thirsty tyrants decimate entire populations, including their aged and their children along with their mothers, in instances they even use chemical weapons and their violent deaths are recorded live for everyone to see, and the world just does not seem to care. Then the very ones that are behind all the mayhem and have supplied those tyrants with their support and their deadly weaponry, are treated as heroes. What is happening to us? In the midst of so much wrong there does not seem to be a right way to turn to, why is that? Romans 1:25 “Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Paul calls what is going on in our present day, in his second letter to the Thessalonians, the mystery of lawlessness. This mystery is revealed to us in our next verse of Scripture: Revelation 16:13-14 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” I believe that these three demons, that are finally exposed before the Lord destroys them, are the three forces, or influences, that drive our present-day leaders and their respective nations away from the Judeo-Christian traditions that they not so long ago embraced. There are three men whose influence upon the human race was pivotal to bring us into the chaotic situation that we find our world deep in today. They were, Darwin, Freud, and Marx; these three men, I believe, best exemplify the nature of the three major demonic influences that have brought so much havoc into our world today. Darwin with his theory of evolution and supremacy of the species, gave credence to the hatred that brought about man’s inhumanity to man, through the Nazi doctrine of ethnic cleansing, how else could well educated men have committed such atrocities unless they believed that they were doing the world a service by ridding it of inferior humans. One would think that their consciences would have pricked them to the point of realizing that what they were doing was so wrong. For how can one justify to oneself the slaughter of innocent people, specially woman and children? I guess we have Freud to thank for that, psychology and their understanding of it, enabled them to turn their guilt switch off, that is why after a long hard day of sending thousands of live innocent people to the gas chambers and their dead bodies to the fiery furnace, they could just enjoy a nice meal with their wives and family, and even go to a concert and enjoy themselves without a trace of shame or guilt for what they were doing. Proverbs 4:16-17 “For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; and their sleep is taken away unless they make someone fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.” The first time that I heard the above Scripture being preached on, so many things finally made sense to me. The symbolism of eating something, biblically speaking, speaks of believing a doctrine with the heart, in their case, demonic doctrines, that they took into their hearts by believing them; when they did that the demons behind the doctrines followed them inside of that persons heart. Once those demons got inside of them, they got no rest until they acted out what their belief of that doctrine required of them, for the demons are the enforcers. They could not get a good night of sleep until they caused someone’s fall, we see this played out over and over again in all levels of society today. This brings us to the third force, spirit, or frog: Marxism. Socialism, which is a manifestation of Marxist ideology, dictates that the ruling class is to make all the important decisions in regards to the rest of humanity, for they see themselves as illuminated ones who have been entrusted with the knowledge that will save everyone else if they just do what they say must be done. In other words, they see people as stupid and unable to make their own choices, so they appoint themselves to make the right choices on behalf of everybody else, whether they like or not. That is why in socialist or communist countries only socialists or communists are allowed to run for political offices, you are allowed in some instances to change the collar but not the dog. We also see this in Islamic nations that allowed elections to take place, their political leaders change, but not the religious rulers that are the ones that really control all the power. We may not realize it, but that is what many of the western democracies have become, where we are forced to endure entrenched institutions like our judicial system for example, who continuously exercise their power to change legislation that does not fit within their anti-God objectives, and in some instances they legislate from the bench the things that even the legislators themselves are unable to pass. Here in America we see this also more and more from the executive branch of government, when their agenda is rejected by the legislators, they are somehow able to implement their agenda through executive orders, thereby defying the will of the people that elected the legislators to oppose such agenda. And, this is new, in many instances the executive branch refuses to enforce the laws that they disagree with. So they make it impossible to bring real change, for it does not matter who gets elected, things never change for the better, they just keep getting worse for the real people that have to follow the rules that they make for the rest of us and that do not even apply to themselves. That is why the wrath of God will soon be revealed from heaven upon all the nations of the world, and that is why all the nations and peoples of the world will be running for their bomb shelters when the see the glorious Lamb of God coming, for that is who they have really being fighting all along. But we do not have to drink in their poison, for we are partakers of something that is far superior of what this world has to offer. John 8:31-32 “...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
