  • THE POWER WITHIN | HoFM

Top of Page THE POWER WITHIN Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” The difference between religion and Christianity, is that religion fills the head with knowledge, while true Christianity fills the believer’s heart with power from God. Remember how Jesus told His disciples after they had been with Him for over three years of indoctrination into the principles of Christianity, that they needed to go to Jerusalem and wait there to be endued with power from above. Acts 1:4-5, 8 “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which ,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now...But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… ’” In religion, the power that enables the believer to carry out the doctrinal duties that his religion requires of him, is derived from the commitment of such believer to the doctrines that he has been taught. His fervor for what he believes and has been taught, is what drives his motives to attain what is required of him, but he himself provides the power. In Christianity, we have doctrines, and they require fervor, but the power to attain what is required of its believers is provided by God Himself. Now why is that? Ephesians 3:19 “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Is a matter of love and hate! If the human nature had good in it, then a good doctrine would incite that good nature to do the righteous requirements of the Christian doctrine. But the Bible declares that there is no one, no not one, that does good. So, to entrust a good doctrine upon those who are incapable to live up to its godly requirements would be folly. Romans 3:10 “As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” Now in religion that is not a problem, if those who practice such religion are in it for self-gain. Whether it is to lord it over others, or to gain profit from its practice, or just simply to make the claim that they are better than others because of the accomplishments that they themselves are able to achieve through their religious convictions. 1 Corinthians 15:19 “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” True Christianity is rooted in unconditional love, that is why true Christianity cannot be exercised by self-generated power. Those who try to live up to the requirements of Christian doctrine by their own power are destined to fail, for it is an impossibility. The only way to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge is by being filled with all the fullness of God. When we become born again Christians, the Lord provides us with His Spirit, He fills us with Him, so that we can fulfill the law of Christ which is rooted and grounded in His love. Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” So that we can fulfill the requirements of the Christian doctrine. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” But we have to believe that it is the Spirit of God who empowers us from within to fulfill that which is required of us. Now there are questions as to when we are filled with the power of God’s Spirit, and as to what the difference is, if any, about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I want to shed light on these questions in this lesson. The first thing that we need to be aware of is that during the ministry of Jesus, the believers had not yet received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit could not come until after Jesus left. John 7:38-39 “‘He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water’. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” Jesus told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to die for men’s sins, and then He told them that He would not leave them comfortless, but that they should wait for the Promise of the Father, that is to be filled with the Spirit and with power. Now since Jesus has already been glorified, all those of us who believe in Jesus and become born again, are immediately filled with God’s Holy Spirit and power. 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.” One cannot be a true Christian unless he/she is born of the One Spirit and made part of the body of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:19 “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” It is very clear then, that within all the born-again believers resides the power of God in essence form: according to the power that works in us, but notice how our opening text words it, the power that works in us. Works implies that a progression is taking place, as in a work in progress, as I wrote in my last lesson on the deliverance page, the renewing of the Holy Spirit goes from essence to presence, to power, but it is always according to the power that works in us, because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through our born-again experience. What is the working of the Spirit trying to accomplish in us? It is working to transform us from the old nature of hate into the new nature of love. Even though His power will always be present in us who have been born of His Spirit in essence form, His presence in us will not always be evident, much less His power, if we are not fulfilling the law of Christ. Galatians 5:16, 25 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Here we see then that it is possible to have the Spirit of God in us, and not be walking according to the Spirit. How do we fail to walk in the Spirit of God? When we fail to walk by faith and to abide in love! That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Love is the manifestation of the presence of Jesus in us, and faith enables His power to be manifested in us and through us. That is why we are commanded to be filled with the full manifestation of His Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.” Dissipation means to break up into different parts, if we walk to fulfill the lust of the flesh instead of walking after the Spirit, we separate the essence of the power that works within us, by preventing the love of God from manifesting itself, thereby disqualifying the power of faith. What about the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands? 1 Timothy 4:14 “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.” Since all born again believers have the essence of the Spirit within them, all are qualified to receive the anointing power, as long as they continue to walk by the power of faith and in the Spirit of love. We need to recognize also that there are diverse gifts that come with the essence of the Spirit within us, once we become born again, and those gifts are available to those who believe. These gifts are activated by words of prophecy and by the laying on of the hands of the eldership, those who are spiritually mature in Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:1, 31 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant...But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.” Paul tells us that there are gifts that are available to all believers, he does not want us to be ignorant, or to ignore them, and he wants us to desire the best gifts that are available to us, but then he adds this: And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 13:1 “...But have not love…” The essence of love is the manifestation of His presence, if we abide in total unconditional love, then everything that we are or have belongs to Him. It does not matter what gift we have as long as is the one that He wants us to have. For by faith we believe that whatever gift He gives us will be the best for us to glorify His holy name. For details about the gifts and their operation go to the Manual’s page in the houseoffaithministries.org web page, open the Intercessors Manual and go to the chapter titled Application of the Gifs of the Holy Spirit. • THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE | HoFM

Top of Page THE FOUL SPIRIT OF HATE Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!’” If there is a word that conjures up strong emotions when spoken, it has to be the word hate. I can even picture a human face contorting as it utters that word. It is almost like one cannot even say the words, I hate you, without the display of an outburst of emotions attached to them. Since spirits manifest themselves as influences through persons, it is only natural that a spirit of hate would manifest itself through a person with such a display of emotion. I guess I should explain how I believe unclean spirits operate through persons, for those of you reading this that may not have heard of this teaching before, so that we can all be on the same page, here it is. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As you may know, the New Testament was written in the Greek language which has a lot more words to express meaning and sentiment than the English language does. Every now and then we have to look at Scriptures as they were written in the original language to get the full meaning of what is teaching. This is one of those cases. In the original Greek, the word translated spirit is the word: Pnyoomah: # 4151 in Strong’s concordance, and it means Breath, as in a blast or a current of air and is translated as the word spirit. For in the Greek, spirits are referred to as breath or air, but in this case it refers to a specific form of breath, a blast or a current of air. Pnyoomah is the Greek word from where we get the term pneumatic as in pneumatic tools, which are tools that run on blast or currents of air. In the original Greek, the word translated soul is the word: Phookhay: # 5590 in Strong’s concordance, and it also means Breath, but by implication, static air, and is translated as the word soul. To get a better understanding of how the spirit and the soul work together to give us our personality, let us go to the first created human. Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man (the physical body) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath (the human spirit) of life; and man became a living being (soul, personhood).” If we want to understand how spirits can move the physical body, here is what I believe are the mechanics of how it works: The human spirit is like the energy, the blast or the current of energy like in a pneumatic tool, that moves the soul, that in turn gives to us our personalities, the person that we become. The human spirit is not self-sufficient, so it has to derive energy from sources outside of itself. Our spirit man was originally designed to receive energy from the Word of God and derive its human personality from it, that is to drive the soul into becoming what the Word of God intended for that person to be. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (Zoe in the Greek, and it means life giving and life sustaining) and powerful (Energea in the Greek, and it means moving energy)…” Take for example the word influence, it describes the spiritual inflow that motivates people to do things, an influence is a spirit, and if the influence contradicts the Word of God, is an unclean spirit. Another example is the word inspire, when a person dies, that person expired, it means the spirit of life left them. When a person is inspired, it is a spirit who is doing the inspiration, and if such inspiration contradicts the Word of God, it is also designated as an unclean spirit. Now we were all born after the flesh, so like Adam we all have the propensities within us to fear and to doubt, and to feel shame and nakedness because of our sinful natures. But in the new birth we become a new creation, a brand-new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” We are not beholden to the old nature any longer. But we still have to make a choice, and it has to do with which spirits are we going to allow to influence us, and are we going to filter those influences through the sift of the Word of God. Here is another example; as new creatures in Christ, all of our sins have been forgiven, we are not to walk in the fear of eternal torment any longer, but in the power of God’s love for us, and rejoice that in Christ, we have the mind of Christ, which is a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Now that we understand the process let us shift our attention to the spirit of hate, which is the culprit for the majority of the chaos going on around the world today. For hatred is the strongman of these last days. I believe that the three most powerful human emotions are: Love, hate, and fear. According to Paul God has not given us the spirit of fear, but He has indeed given to us His Spirit of love. However, the spirit of a sound mind is necessary to keep us from falling prey to the foul spirit of hate, especially in these last days. Harboring the spirit of hatred can lead to the insurrection of the soul. Psalm 64:2 “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.” KJV Insurrection is revolt from within, and since the workers of iniquity still reside within our souls which are still in the process of salvation, what it means is that our human nature can be led into rebelling against the commandments that flow from God into our spirit man. Just like the love of God nullifies the spirit of fear, the spirit of a sound mind can help us put away the spirit of hatred. First let us identify which type of hatred we are dealing with as the Day of our redemption draws near. Psalm 25:19 “Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel (violent) hatred.” All you have to do to know that this is the type of hatred that we are dealing with today, just search the news and see how many believers are beheaded, tortured, burned alive, and struck down for their faith in Jesus Christ all around the world on a daily basis. In the more civilized parts of the world, where still some common sense restrains it, the violence from this spirit of hatred is more verbal in nature, but the sentiments are the same. If you are a believer in the morality that the Word of God commands for societies to follow, you are considered the scum of the earth, and it won’t be long before this sprit of hatred rears its nature of violence against those of us who believe here in the western nations as well. What feeds this spirit of cruel hatred is the spirit of division that is continuously propagated by the mediums of today, the news organizations that do not barter in the truth that they were originally established to proclaim, but rather in incitement and propaganda against the dictates of God’s Word. Ezekiel 25:15 “...Took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy (through violent means) because of the old hatred (perpetual).” I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but all the hatred that is being fomented right now by many, has its roots in old hatred, that is, they are trying to revive past grievances, but in reality it is nothing more than Satan’s perpetual hatred against those of us who belong to God. Proverbs 10:12 “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.” Now the reason I am bringing all these things up is to warn you, and to keep you from falling into the demonic trap of repaying evil with evil. As I look at what is happening from a spiritual perspective, the devil is playing mankind as a well-rehearsed orchestra. Everything out there is designed to bring up strife within the hearts of people with common sense. I see the frustration that many are having to endure, for it seems that what is evil and destructive has become the acceptable norm, and what is sound and good judgment is ridiculed. But we need to keep in mind that what they are doing, they are doing it purposely, they do not need to convince those who have swallow their lies hook line and sinker to follow in their destructive ways. It is us that need to be neutralized, from their point of view that is, those of us who believe in the power of God’s love to inspire and to motivate our actions. And the way to neutralize us is to have us fall for the tricks of the cruel spirit of hatred and become like them. Proverbs 13:21 “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid.” Please my friends I know that it is not easy, not to become upset over the lies and the deception that they seem to be getting away with these days, without seemly any repercussions, let God deal with their actions. Make every effort not to get caught up in their web of cruel hatred and bad intentions. Let God’s love fill us with His peace, and deliver us from the snares of the wicked one. Let not our hearts backslide from His love. Proverbs 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE POWER OF THE TONGUE | HoFM

Top of Page THE POWER OF THE TONGUE Your words can make your life better or worse. Written by Lisa Kane Proverbs 18:21 New King James Version (NKJV) 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. I used to battle depression many years ago, but I overcame it by using the power of the tongue. This is what I did: First, it took me a few weeks to figure out what was wrong with me because I didn’t know. All I knew is that I was mean to everyone around me and I didn’t want to do anything. It was so out of character for me that I began asking God what was wrong with me. Then it hit me. God showed me that I was dealing with a spirit of depression. Once I knew what was wrong, I told my husband I was going to spend time in prayer and went to my bedroom. And this is what I said out loud, “Depression, you’re not welcomed here. Go away and leave me alone.” And then I asked God to forgive me and to help me overcome this spirit. I kept praying and telling depression to get lost for several hours. I eventually went to bed that way. I kept up the words in my mind, but I laid down and finally fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up extremely achy, but I had a smile on my face. I realized that was the best I had felt in a while. Depression was gone and I began walking in joy from that day on. Every once a while depression would try to sneak up on me but guess what, I would remind it that it wasn’t welcomed as part of my life and it would go away. This tactic wasn’t something I read or heard about. It was just something I did as I was praying to God. However, Proverbs 18:21 is so true. The power of the tongue is mighty, and you need to ask yourself, ‘what am I telling myself daily’? Are you telling yourself you’re sick? Are you telling yourself you're tired? Are you telling yourself you’re poor? Are you telling yourself you’re in pain? If I were you, I suggest telling yourself what a great person you are in the Lord and begin acting on it. The sick, tired, poor, and pain will line up according to your words. And if you’re really dealing with some serious spirits, go spend time in God’s presence in your home and tell them to get lost. You have a mighty tongue and are more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37 New King James Version (NKJV) 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. • THE NATIONS SHALL SEE | HoFM

Top of Page THE NATIONS SHALL SEE Micah 7:16 “The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; they shall put their hand over their mouth; their ears shall be deaf.” As I prepared the prayer page for January of 2014 the Lord began to impress on me that this year will be a year of wonders. I pondered whether it would be a year of wonders for us personally, and by that I mean, us the church, or whether it would be a year of wonders for the nations as well. It seems that many others have received the same message about 2014 possibly being a year of wonders, which leads me to believe that this year, wonders may be revealed not only to the church in general, but to the people of the nations of the world as well. One of the things that I read about that have many talking about the year 2014 had to do with a Jewish Rabbi in Israel named Kaduri, who claimed that Messiah had revealed Himself to him. He said that Messiah told him that soon after the former prime minster of Israel Ariel Sharon died, that Messiah would return, then he wrote in a piece of paper the name of Messiah, sealed it in an envelope, then gave instructions not to open the envelope until a year after he, the rabbi, had died himself. I believe the rabbi died at the ripe age of 108 in the year 2007 or 2008, a year after he died they opened the envelope according to his instructions, and to everyone’s surprise he named Jesus as the Messiah who appeared to him, which to say the least caused a lot of controversy at the time. At the beginning of this new year of 2014, the news came that the condition of the former prime minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, who has been in a coma for about seven years, had deteriorated considerably. That got a lot of people talking about that this may be the year when the Lord reveals Himself to the nations. I confess that I had not heard about the Rabbi’s prophecy until I read about it in the internet a couple of days ago, on the sixth of January. The things that I want to deal with in this lesson are the implications that an open manifestation of worldwide wonders would have upon us believers, what these wonders could possibly be, and how they would affect us as individuals. Isaiah 2:10 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty.” As the Lord was impressing on me that this might be a year of wonders, He gave me the above Scripture, which I opened with in the prayers that empower page, on the prayer focus for January of 2014, and I wrote that this might be our theme for the whole year: Enter into the Rock. And as I was meditating on Isaiah’s counsel to enter into the Rock and hide in the dust, the Lord revealed to me that the dust was a reference to hide within the multitudes of His many promises. As when the Lord promised Abraham that his seed would be like the sand of the seashore. So that the way that we enter into the Rock and hide from the terror of His majestic wonders is by taking shelter within the many promises that He has given to all who keep His Word and who have not denied His name. It is interesting that Micah reveals what is going to happen to those who do not embrace God’s Word or revere the name of Jesus when the heavenly wonders begin to unfold. Micah 7:17 “They shall lick the dust as a serpent; they shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of You.” It is also interesting what the book of Revelation says is going to happen to the unbelievers of this world when the majesty of the Lord is revealed from heaven. Revelation 6:14-17 “Then the sky receded like as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” Kind of ironic that while the believers are trusting God’s promises, and by so doing are entering into the Rock of their salvation, the unbelievers are running to the caves and rocks only to find themselves crushed by the very Rock that they have rejected and the promises that they have ridiculed. Micah 7:18 “Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.” I just read about a poll today that said that more Americans believe on aliens today than those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. And it is not surprising to me, since so many books and television programs continuously try to explain those things from the past which science cannot explain by attributing it to the workings of ancient aliens. What is the devil’s goal in all of this? For a while now I have been asking this rhetorical question of those of you who read my writings: When the majesty of Jesus is revealed in the sky will you see Him as your Savior or as your judge? Guess how the devil wants people to see the return of Jesus? The devil wants you to see Jesus return as a ferocious alien who is coming to take over the earth and to subjugate all the people as slaves to do His will. It was former US president Ronald Reagan who told the general assembly of the United Nations how petty our human differences would seem if all of the sudden the entire world was threaten by alien invaders. Just how do you think the antichrist rises to power and unites the entire world behind him to fight against Jesus Christ? Scripture teaches us that he cannot be revealed and take over the world until the true believers are removed from this earth. 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” The goal of the enemy is to pervert the teachings about the soon return of Jesus to rescue us, to the point where believers are mislead as to who the real Jesus is, and as to what His intentions are, and the devil will do this through the power of fear, when the mighty wonders are revealed. After all, this is what is written about then; Isaiah called the wonders: The terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. Micah said, They shall be afraid of the Lord our God and shall fear because of You. But here is one of the many promises that we can envelope ourselves with and be protected from the spirit of fear: 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” The question that I often ask about how we will see Jesus when He returns, as a Savior or as a judge? Is rooted in the Scripture above. I know that Jesus has forgiven me all of my sins, past, present and future. I know that I have already been judged and have passed from death into life, so that I fear no torment. I know as a matter of fact that when Jesus returns, He is coming to take me to a place that He has prepared for me. I know that He is coming to welcome me into His joy, and I know for sure that He has good plans for me. How do I know all of that? That is what He promises me in His Word! And not only to me, but to all who are willing to believe in His Word. 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 “(Love) Bears all things, believes all things (in the Word of God where the love of God towards us humans is revealed), hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…” Micah 7:19 “He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins (past, present and future) into the depths of the sea.” John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 14:3 “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” Matthew 25:23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” In 1989 I experienced a vision of the rapture, you can read the entire vision in the introduction pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny , available free in the books section of www.houseoffaithministries.org . When I saw the wonder of Jesus revealed in the sky as He was heading rapidly towards me, my body became unglued, I cannot sufficiently explain the terrible fear that I felt as I first looked at Him in His glory. Every cell in my body was trembling so violently that I felt like my entire body was coming undone, and yet in the midst of the great and terrifying fear that my physical body was experiencing, the real me, my spirit man, rose from deep within me and shouted at the top of his voice: HALLELUJAH HE KEPT HIS PROMISE! I will never again experience, until Jesus returns for me in the rapture, such great joy and such dreadful fear as I experienced in that vision. I’m just sharing this so that you can see where I am coming from. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” There is nothing that we can do to prepare our flesh for its inevitable encounter with the glory of Jesus, for the flesh of those who are being rapture dies the instant that it beholds His glorious and wonderful majesty, for no mortal flesh can withstand such glory. But for those of us who fully embrace the promises of God deep within our hearts, at His revealing, our spirit man will be clothed with a new, immortal, and eternal physical body, that will never cease to give Him the glory, honor, and the praise that He deserves. We do not yet know what kind of wonders will be revealed from heaven this year, and we do not know what lies the devil will infuse into the world as he tries to deceive the elect if it were possible. But we know this: THE WORD OF GOD AND ALL ITS PROMISES STANDS ETERNAL IN THE HEAVENS. 2 Corinthians 5:1 “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE END OF THE AGE | HoFM

Top of Page THE END OF THE AGE 1 Corinthians 10:11-12 “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” Two extremely important points are made by Paul in this portion of Scripture. One being that the church will witness the ends of the ages, notice that is in plural, and the second point is that this period of time will be a perilous time for the children of faith. Why is it that Paul calls it the end of the ages, since we know that the church age will end with the rapture. What other ages is he talking about? In my book Man’s Final Destiny I deal with this in great detail, but here is the basics of it: There are three dispensations that are running right now concurrently: the dispensation of Law represented by the nation of Israel, the dispensation of Human Government represented by the United Nations, and of course the dispensation of Grace represented by the true Church of Jesus Christ. It is worth noting here that right now God only recognizes the true Church of Jesus Christ as the legitimate power authorized by Him to rule over the affairs of men as recorded by Matthew. Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (the church age).” Amen. After Jesus commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel to the nations of the world, the disciples went out and eventually transformed the world. The doctrine that they preached that changed the nations of the world was known as Judeo Christian principles or values. In the middle of the twentieth century, we saw the rebirth of the nation of Israel and the reunification of the nations of the world in the entity we know today as the United Nations, therefore setting the stage for the fulfillment of our opening text on the last generation: Upon whom the ends of the ages have come. As we follow the chronology given to us in the book of Revelation we find that after the true church is removed in the rapture, that the Lord will set up the nation of Israel and the Law of Moses as the legitimate power here on earth to enforce His will upon the nations of the world. The Two Witnesses, two humans that come from outer space as far as the world’s perspective is concern will be empowered by God to enforce the rule of God’s Law over the nations of the world for 1,260 days. The world will reject them as they have rejected the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then they will make war against the Two Witnesses, and after the days of their prophecy ends they will be killed by the antichrist which will then become the representative of the nations of the world. It will be upon the antichrist and all his followers that have taken his mark that God will bring His final judgment when He judges the kingdoms of this world, or what we know today as the United Nations. The antichrist will rule for 1,290 days before God begins His judgment against him. The judgment upon his governance will last for forty two days, so that he will rule for a total of 1,332 days. 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 / 2 = 666 After 1,332 days he is captured alive, along with the false prophet, and they are both thrown alive into the Lake of Fire, while the rest of humanity who have the mark of the beast will be killed. This will bring about the conclusion of the ages as Jesus returns to the earth and in three days sets up His one thousand years Day of Rest. Hosea 6:2 “After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.” Daniel 12:11-12 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away (the antichrist begins his rule), and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty five-days.” 1,290 + 42 = 1,332 + 3 = 1,335 days. Those who do not receive the mark of the beast and survive the antichrist’s ordeal will come out of their hiding places on the third day after the antichrist’s demise. This will be mainly the Jewish remnant that God protects in secret caves while the rule of the antichrist plays out, along with those that somehow survive the antichrist’s regime without taking the mark or being killed. So that understanding how everything is proceeding as it relates to prophecy is vital for us, so that we can be prepared and ready when His unveiling finally begins. But what about the other warning that Paul gave us in our opening text? Therefore, let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall! 1 Corinthians 10:14 “Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” It seems odd at first that a warning against idolatry would be issued in relation with the return of our Lord to set up His kingdom. Matthew 24:5,11 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many...Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” But as we read about Jesus warning us about false Christ’s and false prophets during the end of the ages we can understand why. Idolatry offers a false Christ and those who follow a false Christ will not be raptured, for they will not recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed. The world will present the return of Jesus as some malevolent alien coming to harm us. Therefore, those believers that fail to recognize the real Jesus will have to earn their salvation as martyr’s during the days of wrath. 1 Corinthians 10:19-20 “What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.” So that as the end of the ages comes upon us, since we now know that we are in the last generation, it is imperative for us to know whether the traditions that we are following have a solid biblical foundation or whether they originate from the traditions of men. In other words, will you recognize the real Jesus when He is revealed? Jesus warned us against not just false Christ’s but also against false prophets, that is people who proclaim to preach the real Jesus but in reality they are not, for Jesus told us that they will deceive many. Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” One of the greatest lies that many well-meaning preachers follow today is that since the book of Revelation is difficult to understand and since there are many different interpretations, they rather not preach on it, for it will bring divisions within the church by offending others who do not agree with their particular interpretation. They rather not preach about it and deprive the rest of the congregation of their readiness to meet Jesus when He is finally revealed. Imagine what would happen if you would use that same criterion about any other subject matter in the Bible? Since you cannot not preach on anything that the Bible teaches without offending someone else! Matthew 24:10 “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” But Jesus warned us about that as well! Revelation 1:3 “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” I was one of those who got frustrated because I could not understand the Book of Revelation. I knew that I was missing out of a big blessing and did not want to live my Christian life in ignorance of the most important prophesied event that could take place during my lifetime here on earth: the return of Christ. All it took was one simple humbled prayer and continuous persevering in reading and studying prophecy and God took care of the rest. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” How much is it worth it to you to know about the times and the seasons so that you may be ready when Jesus appears? How much is it worth it to you to find out whether you are serving the real Jesus or whether you are following man-made traditions? As you read this, know that there are many Christians all around the world right now facing what to them are insurmountable circumstances. Many have lost their homes to religious persecution. Others have lost their churches to the same. Others are fleeing for their lives as we speak, and many are in dark dungeons and filthy prisons refusing to deny their Lord who saved them. There are no guarantees against us being next, for the passion of the workers of iniquity runs deep, and they will not rest until they silence us and destroy what we believe. So, we better make sure that what we believe does not rest on the fallacies of men, but let our faith rest on the solid foundation of the Word of God and His promises to us. For those who try to destroy the Word and what it promises are themselves destroyed by the fire of God’s jealousy to fulfill all that He promised! • DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT | HoFM

Top of Page DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT Ephesians 4:30 “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” In Ephesians chapter four Paul is dealing with the church from the perspective of what God’s call is to the body of Christ for ministry, Paul is dealing with all levels of ministry. By the time that he gets to the end of the chapter he adds the above warning: Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, almost as a redundant warning of something that should have been obvious to all who were serving our Lord back then, and that is that, without the Holy Spirit there is no true ministry. Unfortunately, what was very clear to the believers of Paul’s day has become somewhat muddled in our present time, because there are many ministries today that do not function under the unction of the Holy Spirit. Let us begin under the assumption that the ministers and ministry types that we are going to examine here, are all called by God and abide in true service to God; then let us ask this question: How do I personally, and how do we as a body, keep from grieving the Holy Spirit of God when rendering to Him what is our due reverence to Him, our service? Number One: We need to know what our calling is! Ephesians 4:1 “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.” Not knowing what our calling is, and that we are all called, will surely hinder in us the flow of the Holy Spirit that is so vital for our spiritual growth, and so necessary for our training and edification. Imagine getting hired to work in a large department store or factory, and when we get there we have no idea as to what place or division we are to report to. We wouldn't just start working and serving aimlessly somewhere in that place in the hope that somebody from the placement department that hired us to begin with will eventually find us and send us to our proper destination. Yet, that is what many Christians do, after they get saved instead of seeking what God’s ministry and calling is for them, they just serve out of place where others are glad to have their help, but it will not profit the person that is in the wrong place any, because as far as management is concerned, they did not show up to work where they were needed. Number Two: We need to have the right attitude, a humbled spirit! Ephesians 4:2-3 “With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another with love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” There are some that after they get saved, have a desire to serve in a ministry that they are not called to perform, because in their eyes this other ministry is a more glamorous ministry than the one, they know they were called to; this too is grievous to the Holy Spirit. So that we are not only supposed to be in the right ministry, but we also need to have the right attitude about the ministry that we are in. Humility includes lots of patience also, and patience is needed because in a sense we are all in training. If we think that we can do a better job at what another person has been called to do, our tendency might be that of doing their part just because we can do it better and or faster than they can, and by us doing what they are supposed to be doing, we hinder their calling to the point that they will never get the training necessary to eventually fulfill their calling. I was involved in the making of a TV commercial once for the company that I worked for at that time. The setting was in a beautiful three story house in Malibu, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean . I was spraying the outside stucco of the house with a life long texture coating material, the owner of the company had arranged for a Hollywood crew that filmed commercials to be there the day that I was spraying. After they finished filming my part, they set up to the side of the house a tarp over the grass and put a bucket of paint into which one of the commercial making crew was to through a paint brush into, to make the emphasis that if you put our product on your house you could get rid of your paint and brushes, for you would never have to paint again. There were about eight people in the commercial filming crew, and this one fellow was assigned the task of throwing the brush into the paint bucket, a smile still comes to my face as I am telling you the story, for this fellow could not hit the inside of the bucket no matter how hard the poor fellow tried. Take after take, changing the angle, getting closer to the bucket, nothing, they tried everything. Others on the crew would have no problem hitting the inside of the bucket in just one or two tries, to which somebody in the filming crew suggested to the director that they might have to use somebody other than the person that was assigned for that job originally, so that they could get the commercial done. To my amazement, the director told them that this fellow was hired by the commercial company for that purpose and that the company knew best, and that they would be there until that poor fellow got the brush into the bucket. Encouraged by the unshaken commitment of his boss as to what his calling was, the young man got the brush in the bucket in the very next take, the cheers from all of us who were there were heard all the way back to Los Angeles. But I learned a spiritual lesson that day that has served me well through the years. When it comes to God’s calling for a person’s life, only God knows the magnitude and the impact that His gift and calling will have in that person’s life, and after all is not how you begin, but the depth of your heart’s commitment to your call that really matters. So that when serving the Lord in ministry, as I recognized the gift and the calling of God upon a person that was serving in whatever ministry it was that I was in charged of at the time, I would immediately set out to help them to develop their gifts no matter how inept or uncomfortable they appeared at first, knowing that someday that person would glorify Jesus in the exercising of their calling. I found out that if I kept getting myself replaced by somebody that was better than me at whatever it was that I was doing, that the body of Jesus was being edified and better served, after all that is what really matters. Ephesians 4:4-7 “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” Although each one of us receives personal gifts, these gifts are always for the purpose of enabling and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the One body of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13 “For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Number Three: Know what the function and emphasis of the five different offices of ministry are, for they embodied the qualities of leadership under which the church is and should be governed. Ephesians 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” The church represents the physical body of Christ here on the earth, a physical body has five different senses, vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch, by which it navigates through life. The five offices of ministry are a spiritual representation of those five senses through which the body of Christ operates here on the earth. In order for us to be more effective in ministry, we need to know under which of those five offices, or combination of these offices, any given ministry into which we are involve with its functioning, for the spiritual emphasis will be different under each one of these five offices. Isaiah 29:10 “For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; and He has covered your heads, namely the seers.” Here we see how the Lord uses that metaphor against Israel. Their eyes represent the spiritual vision that enables their prophets to prophesy God’s Word to the nation, and if you cover the entire head, they are no longer even able to process the Word of God that they already had. The Apostolic and the Prophetic Ministries In our present day the apostles and their apostolic ministry, along with the prophets and their prophetic ministry, represent the foundation upon which the entire church is built. Ephesians 2:20-22 “Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building (the church), being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” If an apostle is one who lays the foundation, and he is, then no other foundation can be laid but that which has already been laid by the founding apostles, and all true prophets will testify to that. 1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The apostolic ministries of today are ministries that start brand new churches in places where no other churches existed before, but if their foundation is not that which has already been laid, then that ministry is not part of the building of God, for it has not been erected on the original foundation which Christ laid when He built His church. The ministry of today’s prophets is not the same as it was for the prophets of Jesus’ days, for through their prophetic ministry God gave to us the books that comprise the New Testament through which the foundation of the church was established, hence: Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets there is nothing new that we can add. However, the prophets of today are the ones that proclaim that which was prophesied by the prophets of old, in both the Old and New Testaments, as being extremely relevant to what is going on in the world of today, they keep God’s yet to be fulfilled promises alive to the present generation. Also, the prophets of today testify against the so-called churches that are not built on the solid foundation of God’s apostolic church but are built on a deviation of what God originally intended His church to be built on. And if you are involved in an apostolic ministry that aims to start new churches where none ever existed before, make sure that they are being built in the apostolic pattern laid out for us in the New Testament, and in you helping them, model your service to them in the same manner that those who helped the apostles build their churches back then did, that is why we have His Word in the New Testament to aid us. The Evangelistic Ministry An evangelist is one who preaches the Gospel for the purpose of making converts. You may ask, how does that differ from one who teaches and by his teaching leads others to the Lord? Or from a pastor who preaches and makes converts through his preaching? Salvation is not limited to any one ministry, for the Holy Spirit convicts' sinners every time the Word of God is proclaimed no matter who proclaims it. But just like the eye may see something and it is confirmed by the ear hearing something, the evangelistic ministry is designed to work hand in hand with the other two. The heart of a true evangelist however is in leading sinners to Christ, he is not as concerned with who is going to disciple the convert, or who is going to teach them spiritual principles, for the evangelist knows that that is the work of the church. 2 Timothy 4:5 “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” The Ministry of the Pastor The ministry of the pastor revolves around the task of keeping the flock together, as his title implies. A pastor’s main concern is that of maintaining the house/church in proper working order. He not only feeds the flock with the Word of God, but he also steers it away from danger. God has appointed the pastors as the overseers of the spiritual heath and well being of the flock. If the enemy, like a wolf, comes against one of the members of his church, that enemy will have to go through that pastor’s authority and watchful eyes in order to get to that member. So that the pastor is not overwhelmed by all his responsibilities, God brings into the church teachers, evangelists, administrators, and divers helps, that means everybody in the congregation, that allows that pastor to focus his energy into keeping his flock safe from spiritual attacks. If a pastor surrounds himself with wise elders that will inform and advise him truthfully about the spiritual condition of the church, what they see from their perspectives, that pastor will have everything that he needs to maintain his people safe, but if he ignores their wise counsel, his people will suffer the consequences. Nothing worse than a pastor that thinks that he knows everything, even David a wise shepherd himself, needed the counsel of the seers that God provided and surrounded him with. A pastor’s ministry is to build others up and not to tear them down, his ministry can be summed up by this verse of Scripture: Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” The Ministry of the Teacher Matthew 13:52 “He said to them, ‘Therefore every teacher of the law (the Word of God) who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.’” NIV Jesus really paints it with this verse as to what the nature and calling of a teacher really is. I once, during a time of fellowship with some very close friends who were asking if we could play some kind of constructive word game, suggested to them that we pretend that we were stranded in a desert island without our Bibles, and told them, let us see how much of John chapter one we can recreate from memory, and after we have exhausted every one of our recollections we will look it up and see how well we did. Well to begin with we could not even remember how many verses were in the whole chapter, can you without looking it up? A teacher of the Word of God may not really be able to literally, from his memory, have the ability to reconstruct all or even parts of the Word of God, but the essence of what that chapter was about was firmly etched in my heart. For that word had become real in my heart, and I went on to preach from it that night without opening a Bible. So that the ministry of a teacher of the Word of God is to store in the storeroom of his heart, the essence of the revelation that the Word of God brings to his enlightenment. To treasure the revelation that the Holy Spirit reveals into his heart to such a point that, they not only remember the revelation, but how it made them feel and the circumstances that brought the revelation about. An anointed teacher can be likened to a spiritual reservoir that can bring to a thirsty church rivers of living waters in the time of drought. 1 Samuel 3:1, 19 “Now the boy Samuel ministered to the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation...So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his (God’s) words fall to the ground.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • REASON TOGETHER | HoFM

REASON TOGETHER Isaiah 1:18 “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’” From the foundation of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, people struggled to define what to call it. The believers of the early church were not called Christians until many years later at a church in Antioch. Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Before that, they were called the people of the way—for lack of a better name—since Christianity was never presented as a new religion that they were to embrace, but as a new and more accurate way into salvation. Acts 18:26 “So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.” Notice how Christian doctrine was based on reason rather than religious precepts; they explained salvation as an act of faith that was based on the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God, forever making intercession for all of us who believe in Him. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony (mystery) of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” As you can see from our opening text, that God is calling us to reason together with Him, and not to the blind adherence of religious dogma. How does a person reason with God? Remember first, that reason deals with facts, so that we need to establish a protocol that is founded on undisputable facts to which we can relate. Though your sins are like scarlet: The fact is that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. We can never reason with God from a perspective of equality, that would be pride, which would immediately cause us to be kicked out of His holy presence. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Some people get frustrated because they do not seem to get any answers from God when they go before Him in prayer. Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These two Scriptures lay a solid foundation as to how we are to approach God in order to reason with Him. First, we must recognize that we are sinners, and that God is holy. Second, that if we come before Him with a spirit of humility and brokenness, He will not turn His back on us. They shall be white as snow: The second aspect has to do with the why are we coming before God. First let me say that, coming before God is always the best move that we can ever make, no matter what our circumstances are. But we need to understand God’s protocol and follow it if we are going to be able to reason with God. What I am saying is that some people only go before God when they have a pressing need that they themselves cannot fix. The problem with this approach is that they want to set the agenda as to what it is that they want to reason with God about. But God has His own agenda for us; He wants to implement in our lives a new way of living so that we can rise to His high calling, which is: Isaiah 1:16-17 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.” This is the context from which God issued the promise: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. How many of us can keep God’s law? No one can! For it is written that All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean: How do we do that? Jesus Christ and Him crucified! Sound reasoning leads us to the fact that within ourselves we are incapable of doing that which is good; therefore, the only conclusion that we can reasonably arrive to, is that we are all in need of a Savior. Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” So far, we learned that God is holy, and that those who follow God must also be holy. We are commanded by God to wash ourselves, and to make ourselves clean in order to follow Him. We are also told that we cannot even do that for ourselves; what a wretched condition we find ourselves in—we need a Savior who is able to deliver us from our filth and make us acceptable before God. Who is this Savior, and how does He saves us? Romans 7:24-25 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!...” Jesus is our Savior because He died for all our sins. Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus is our Savior who not only died for all our sins, but He is also our Savior who cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:6-7 “To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” So far reason has led us into the undeniable facts that God is holy and that we are not. That we are required by God to be good, but the reality is that we are not. And not only that, but that we are unable to be good by our own strength. We conclude then that without a Savior we are forever lost. Isaiah gives us the promise that: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool, but only if we repent and accept His offer of forgiveness that can only be attained through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, whose name is forever to be blessed! Isaiah 1:19-20 “‘If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat (be blessed with salvation) the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured (destroyed by your own sins) by the sword’; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” The spirit of pride is the biggest obstacle that keeps those who know that they need a Savior, from accepting Jesus as their Savior. We need to realize that it is the pride—and the proud—of this world that our Lord is coming to judge. Without Jesus as our Savior, we will fall under the coming judgment of God. For the preceding generations, their judgment came after they died without Christ. For it is written that: It is appointed unto men to die once and then comes the judgment. What is unique to our present generation—if this is the last generation before Jesus comes, as all signs point that it is—is that this generation will have to bear the judgment of all the preceding generations before it. Matthew 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” So that this last generation will have to endure the physical punishment due to all the generations before it, while here on the earth, and then, be cast into hell and the eternal judgment that follows. So that there is a double incentive for those who are now alive, to repent and to receive the double reward of salvation and escaping the judgment that is soon coming upon all those who dwell on the earth, to test them. Isaiah 2:10-11 “Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the terror of the Lord and the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” According to Scripture, there are three major spirits that afflict all the inhabitants of this present-day world. 1 John 2:16 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” We learn by simple reasoning from Scripture, that the only way to overcome the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is by dying to self and living with Christ, through the power of His unending grace. We also learn that pride is what keeps many from humbling themselves before God, confessing their sins before Him, and receiving God’s pardon that is available through our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We learn as well that it is that spirit of pride that God will judge mightily at His soon return. If there was ever a time to renounce the spirit of pride and to enter into the Rock of God’s salvation, it is right now before God’s final judgment is unleashed! Isaiah 2:12 “For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up—and it shall be brought low.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

Volver a Oraciones empoderadoras
