  • THE PRIESTHOOD OF THOSE WHO ARE MINISTER | HoFM

Top of Page THE PRIESTHOOD OF THOSE WHO ARE MINISTERS Malachi 2:1 “And now, O priests, this commandment is for you.” In this lesson I aim to deal with this question: Who ministers to the ministers? Or from a different perspective we could ask, who keeps the ministers in line? I’ve met and dealt with many different pastors in the many years that I have been serving the Lord, and I have dealt with situations where there was clear and present differences of opinion in regards to the way a certain outreach was handled. A national ministry had rented a large auditorium in the city and asked for the local churches to help them in their outreach to the community, and our church was one of the ones that volunteered to help: it was a two night event. As I was walking toward the auditorium that Friday night I was met by a few local pastors, and I knew one of them. They were protesting this ministry’s presence in the city, and they were handing out flyers discrediting that ministry. Almost in shock I asked him what was going on, for this was a very reputable and sincere ministry that we had helped before. The protesting pastor just told me that he disagreed with some of their theology and therefore he reserved the right to protest against those that he disagreed with. I remember thinking that independence is a great thing, but what happens when it is turned against those who by definition are supposed to be one body and of one mind and purpose? The Lord has very strong words that govern those who are called to be His ministers. James 3:1-2 “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things…” James tells us right at front, that those who are called to teach God’s Word will be judged by a different and more stringent standard than someone who doesn’t, and then he adds that we all stumble, meaning that there is a price to pay for the privilege of serving in a ministry that proclaims the Gospel of truth. Malachi 2:2 “If you will not hear (God’s commandment for those who minister), and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name, says the Lord of hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings, yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.” In verse two we see that what James was talking about is taking place. A curse had fallen upon their blessings, the blessings that are in store for those who minister to the Lord. That curse had landed on them because they failed in their most basic requirement of ministry, and that is, to give glory to My name, their ministry failed to give the glory to the Lord. Does it give glory to the name of the Lord if I put my fellow minister down when he stumbles? Let’s just say that it is an honest theological disagreement that separates us, does it bring glory to the name of the Lord if I oppose him openly when he tries to minister? Here is what I see, if we all stumble in many things like James says, and we do, and it is also clear from Scripture that we know only in part, so how can I go into open opposition of my fellow minister with whom I disagree, when we are both limited in our understanding of Scripture to begin with? Malachi 2:10 “Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another by profaning the covenant of the fathers? There is a difference between disagreeing and being disagreeable. If my brother believes that his ministry which is based on his understanding of Scripture, is the way that he should minister, then why should I oppose him just because his ministry is not compatible with what my understanding of Scripture is for my ministry. If the aim of my ministry is to bring glory to the name of Jesus, then I can bring more glory to the name of Jesus if I just pray for my fellow minister’s ministry in private instead of opposing his ministry in public. After all Jesus is Lord of both ministries and only in Him is all the fullness of knowledge. Malachi 2:7 “For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.” There are honest theological disagreements and there are misrepresentations of the truth that are pervasive in many ministries. It is my job as a minister of the Word of God, to point the believers to the knowledge of the truth so that by their knowledge of the truth they can be made free. But I do not have to tear down another man’s ministry to teach the truth, for the truth stands by itself. And if I teach the truth in love, in the hope of helping my fellow ministers to build up their churches with knowledgeable servants whose focus is on the things that they as a body agree, and thereby encourage one another to gain knowledge for the purpose of building up the church, instead of gaining knowledge for the purpose of tearing it apart, then that is a ministry that brings all the glory to the Lord. When we do that we are just doing what we are suppose to do. Malachi 2:6 “The law of truth was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and equity, and turned many away from iniquity.” Here is how we can bring glory to the name of the Lord, by turning people away from iniquity, and not from one another. And notice the blessings attached with such a ministry, the blessings of peace and equity that follow the walk of teaching God’s truth in love. Malachi 2:5 “My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, and I gave them to him that he might fear Me; so he feared Me and was reverent before My name.” To have a heart for ministry is to have the heart of God. When we minister the heart of God to His people, we are ministering His life and His peace into the hearts of His people. We do not have to fear the curse when we are walking in His truth; we do not have to fear man when we are proclaiming His truth in love. As long as we remain reverent before His name in the full knowledge that that is what our true ministry is: To lift Him up so that He can draw all men unto Himself, then we walk in peace knowing that we are in His covenant and under His blessings and favor. So , then who is the one who keeps the ministers in line when they get out of line? Malachi 2:8-9 “But you have departed from the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of Hosts. Therefore I also have made you contemptible and base before all the people, because you have not kept My ways but have shown partiality in the law.” It is the Lord’s church, and it is in His ministry that we are all servants. He is the head of the church and when His servants deviate from the truth of their calling, not taking the commandments of the Lord for their ministry to heart, then the Lord’s curse against them goes into effect and their ministry becomes void of the anointing, and there is nothing worse than a preacher without the anointing, that is pretty much what the definition of contemptible is. If there is spiritual life left in that ministry, God will move in the hearts of the people to pray for their minister who has gone straight; if there is spiritual life left in that minister, he will repent and will be restored. If there is no spiritual life left in that ministry then they will both be gone, but if there is spiritual life left in that ministry and they pray for their minister who has gone straight and he does not repent, then the Lord will remove him and replace him with someone new. Malachi 3:7 “Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you…” But the key here is swift repentance, as soon as the anointing begins to falter, like the oil running low in an oil lamp, that is the time for prayers of intercession to be offered up immediately on behalf of that ministry and for those who are the ministers, do not wait until the lamp goes out. Malachi 3:16 “Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listen and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name.” It is hard saying this, but sometimes the people get the type of ministers that they deserve. But once the fear of the Lord enters into the heart of the congregation and they realize how much is at stake, if they pray, God will hear them if they meditate in giving glory to the Lord’s name. Malachi 3:18 “Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.” Once the focus is put in the proper place, that is to bring all the glory to the Lord’s name, whether you are a minister or a congregant, immediately the spiritual eyes of that ministry are opened and the ability to discern between the good and the bad is restored. And then that ministry or minister once again begins to flow with God’s precious anointing and they all become one in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace. Psalm 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

You can read the book for free here. Introduction: 2 Timothy 1:9 "Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began." Before time began means that before God created our universe, He not only had a purpose for creating it—which had been hidden from us—but within that purpose was also intricately hidden the mystery of grace, and both were destined to be revealed to us in Christ Jesus. Romans 16:25 "Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret (hidden) since the world began." I believe this mystery to be the revelation of the purpose behind the creation which is two-fold, God's purpose and grace. Now we who presently know God's mercy and have tasted of the sweet nectar of God's grace towards us, in the salvation that we now enjoy in Jesus, have also been given the privilege to know the hidden purpose behind the creation in which we now exist. Romans 11:33 "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God (God's purpose and grace)! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!" It is with confidence in the abilities given to us by the Holy Spirit through the power of His grace that works within us, that we now endeavor in searching out what God's real purpose was behind the creation of our universe, and how grace was the bulwark that sustained that purpose. Daniel 2:22 "He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him." I believe the key that unravels the mystery behind the purpose for the creation lies in understanding the meaning of darkness and its interaction with the light. We could also call it the struggle between good and evil. In either case, the true revelation of the mystery behind the creation can only bring glory to God and to Jesus Christ, who is the manifestation of God's grace, through whom also the abilities to reveal such secrets is given to us. Daniel 2:47 "…'Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.'" I want to share with you the insight of what was taking place during this encounter between The Word and the accuser. This is an extremely important lesson. Our understanding of what was taking place behind the scenes if you will, will greatly help us to overcome the accuser when he comes knocking on our door to challenge what we believe. I have seen the faith of some young believers wrecked by their failure to understand the gimmicks that Satan employs when challenging the veracity of the Word of God. My hope is that by exposing some of the enemy’s tactics, that it might prepare you to take a firm stand against the devil’s perversion of the Word of God when you are confronted by them. Luke 20: 17-18 “Then He looked at them and said, ‘What then is this that it is written: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone”’? Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” When the devil challenged Jesus to turn the stones into bread, at first appearance, in the natural scheme of things, it appears as if the enemy is tempting the flesh that was hungry after a long fast, but spiritually speaking there was a lot more going on here than we see at first glance. As we can see from our Scripture in Luke, the stone is representative of the Word of God and it’s power to break those who fall on it, and grind into powder those upon whom it falls. So that in essence the spirit behind Satan’s challenge was “to turn the stone” (The immutable Word of God) into something soft and common like bread that you eat today and is gone tomorrow, it wreaks of compromise. In other words, the enemy was saying, if you are the Son of God you can do whatever you want to with the Word (implying that He could change it). Hence the answer that Jesus responded with, “it is written”. Which brings me to the first application of this lesson in regards to the challenges that we face today when it comes to our faith and trust in the Word of God. How do we know that the Bible is the true Word of God? It is written! I hear people tell me that the Bible was written by men, and that other men decided which of the many books that were written were made part of the Bible, as if God was somehow limited by the powers of men. 2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation (It was never left to men as to what to write or what to include and reject), for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke (men spoke from God) as they were moved (into action) by the Holy Spirit.” Satan wants us to believe that men, fallen creatures as we are, are incapable of producing truth, and that is true if men are left to their own devices. But the Bible does not credit men with producing truth, all the credit goes to the Holy Spirit of God. And just as God chose the womb of one of the many virgins of Israel to give birth to the Word in Carne, God chose and moved in the spiritual womb of men and women of God to bring forth the Written Word as well. 1 Peter 2:4-5 “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” The one thing that unbelievers can never comprehend is how the Word becomes alive (a living stone) inside the ones who believe in Jesus as their savior, since they haven’t experienced the transformation that a born-again believer experiences when he/she becomes a living stone. We become like living stones when we partake in simple faith the truth of the Gospel. What is hard for me to understand is how believers that have tasted of the sweetness of the Living Rock that gushes forth to satisfy their taste for righteousness, can overtime allow the bitter waters of the enemy’s poison to weaken their trust in the truth that they have tasted in their born again experience. Galatians 1:6-7 “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Gospel of Christ.” Which brings as to the second temptation that Jesus had to endure on our behalf. Matthew 4:5-6 “Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: “He shall give His angels charge over You,” and, “In their hands they shall bear You up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”’” In the natural the temptation is for Jesus to be presumptuous, but if you look a little deeper the truth of this temptation is the perversion of God’s Word. Once a believer has experienced the truth of God’s Word, the enemy’s aim is to pervert its application by treating the Word as mechanical in nature instead of a living relational part of our everyday lives. Yes, there may be a time when God tells you to trust Him to the point of doing something so foolish that it defies human logic. But to the person that is in a personal relationship with the Living Word there will be no doubt in their hearts. Jesus simply responded to this temptation by saying: “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt (test) the Lord your God.’” Matthew 4:7 One does not have to test true relational friendship, because by definition, it has already been tested when the weaker one chose to put all their trust in the power of the stronger one. So that when a believer puts his/her trust solely in the Word for their eternal salvation, how much more can they trust the Word for the less important matters of everyday life. Galatians 3:1 “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?” So that once we know the greater truth that Jesus was crucified for our sins, the goal of the enemy is to separate us from daily trusting in Him as we continuously work out our relationship with that same truth. Basically, what I am saying is that if we are willing to trust His Word for our eternal salvation, then how much more can we trust in His Word for our everyday life. Matthew 4:8-9 “Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’” When Adam was first created, he was given dominion over all the kingdoms of the world that were to come in all their glory. When Adam failed to trust the Word of God that said that he was good even though he was naked, Adam forfeited his dominion to the devil who caused him to know that he was naked. In other words, he believed the lies of the devil over the truth of God’s Word and that kept him from partaking of the tree of life. When the devil tempted Jesus who is God the Word the third time, his aim was to have Jesus the Word declare him, the devil, good, in exchange for Jesus not having to bear the sins of Adam and of his descendants through the cruel death of the cross in order to regain the dominion that Adam had lost when he failed to trust in the Word of God. So basically, what the devil said to Jesus was, I’ll give you the dominion that Adam lost to me in exchange for you declaring me good even though I am perverted, you have power to declare me clean so that You do not have to die on the cross. Matthew 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.”’” So that in the temptations that Jesus suffered we can clearly see the progression of the devil’s machinations, and they all involve different levels of perversion to the Word of Truth. First the devil wants the Stone Truths or the foundational principles of the Word of God to be turn into the soft bread of compromise, so that the Word that the believers profess won’t crush his head. Secondly he wants us to have religion instead of relationship with the Word of God. In religion or ritualistic confines the devil is able to turn the Word that frees us into cold frigid rules that suffocate the very life that the Word was meant to give us. Thirdly, the devil offers an easy way out to the uncompromising believer that will not deviate from God’s foundational principles and walks in the freedom of the spirit filled life, by trying to make the road that the believer has to walk harder than it is, so that he can tempt him to receive perverted power that does not come from God. Unfortunately some who originally ministered in the Word of Truth have given up the difficulties of the narrow road of hardships for the temporary glory of the third temptation, the glorification of self. Jesus did not mess around when faced with that third temptation, immediately He uttered the words: “Away with you, Satan!” All humans are influenced by spirits that want to sway us into doing good or bad. There is always something or someone in the spiritual realm that wants us to do their bidding. The only protection that we have against those bad and unprofitable influences is the Truth of the Word of God. The Word of God is the filter that protects our spirit and soul from contamination. The greater our knowledge of the Word of Truth the finer the mesh becomes in the filter. Do not let the spirit of the world that continuously belittles the Word of God rob you of the many benefits that Jesus has provided for us in his many great and precious promises. 2 Peter 1:3-4 “As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him (the Word made flesh) who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises (in God’s Word), that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption (perversion) that is in the world through lust.” Back to Other Teachings THE LORD’S REFINING FIRE | HoFM Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THE LORD’S REFINING FIRE Jeremiah 9:7 “...Behold, I will refine them and try them…” One of the most misunderstood subjects for both secular and Christian people, revolves around the events that precede the return of our Lord Jesus to set up His kingdom age upon the earth and over its inhabitants. From our perspective we see our Lord returning to the earth to punish all the evil doers for all the evil that they perpetrate, and then we ask ourselves, why now? I mean, the evil doers basically never left, they were here back then, and they are still here now, and they have never stopped doing their evil deeds. So, in a way we ask ourselves what is it that changes? So that we need to understand how God’s timing works. Genesis 15:16 “But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” We need to understand that God sees sin, which includes iniquity and transgression, as a debt, we also need to comprehend that judgment, which is inflicting punishment upon the debtors, cannot be executed until the agency that is in charge of collecting the payment for the debt, has exhausted all its allotted time for collecting the debt. Then and only then, can the judgment, repossession of the property that is indebted, is allowed to take place. In the case of us humans, we are all indebted to God with a debt of sin that not a single one of us could ever repay. Our personal time for repaying our own debt of sin runs out when we die, as it is written: It is appointed unto men once to die and then comes the judgment. John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” Notice how a believer, one who heard the Gospel, hears My word, and believes on Jesus as his/her savior, even though alive at present, God considers such a person already dead and judged, his/her personal debt of sin is marked paid in full by the work of redemption that Jesus accomplished after He died on the cross, and when that person dies, they just go straight into the presence of the Lord, as it is written: John 11:26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Every person has been allotted a lifetime, most of us do not know how much time we have before we die, to deal with our sin debt problem, regardless of how much time the world has left before it is judged for its debt of sin to God. If we have not personally dealt with our sin debt when the time comes for the world to be judged, then we will be judged when the world is judged along with the rest of mankind, if we have already accepted Jesus as our personal savior, then we are spared the judgment, for we have already been judged in Jesus, and we will be removed from this world before it is judged, no matter how much lifetime we had left. Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test (try, refine) those who dwell on the earth.” When Jesus was born the angels proclaimed: Peace on earth, and good will toward men. God introduced into the world a grace period that would allow the earth to deal with its sin debt before the final judgment of God is executed upon the earth. We have been living under that grace period for the last two thousand years, the good news has to be preached, and has been preached, to all the world and its inhabitants before the final judgment comes, but there is a time limit. How will we know that we are approaching the limit? Jeremiah 9:6 “Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, says the Lord.” The time of refining comes after the inhabitants of the earth willingly refuse to acknowledge the pardon freely offered to them by God. 2 Peter 3:5 “For this they willfully forget…(willingly ignorant)” We are clearly living in the days when both of the above prophecies are being fulfilled. Science has reached the point where the theory of evolution is untenable, there is clearly no monkey DNA in any of us, everything screams out the truth of an intelligent Creator behind the creation. Yet, through deceit they refuse to know Me, the Lord told us, and that is exactly what is going on today. Now from the Lord’s perspective we see a refining that is taking, and has taken place, all over the earth through different epochs of time. There were, and there are times, when God deals with men’s debt problem through the spectrum of innocence, at other times through their conscience, but always through the prism of His promised redemption in His covenant of law and grace with Abraham, the man of faith who found favor and fellowship with God. But God who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, He is always at work in whatever circumstance history finds men, to save them from their debt of sin. Once the present grace period runs out, it will be collection time, and since it is appointed unto men once to die and then comes the judgment, collection time will mean the death of billions of earthlings. Revelation 9:15 “So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.” A third of mankind are killed, and that is just during the beginning of the first half of the seven years of God’s wrath upon the earth. By the time you get to the end there are not many humans left on the earth. Now these seven years are like a refining fire poured upon the earth to redeem the souls of the sinful men who refused the grace period they were given. These judgments are brought upon them because they willingly refused to know God at first, and before they die God gives them another chance to repent now that their deceit has been exposed and they no longer have any excuse to ignore God. Basically, they will be told, you are all going to die, who will you die for, the devil or God? Who will you give your soul to? Now isn’t it a lot easier to live for Him now during the age of His grace? Or will you continue to deceive yourself? Jeremiah 8:20 “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” We are not saved; will this be your epithet? If you think it is hard to be saved right now, do you think that you will have what it takes to be saved when your salvation will have to be proven by your death as a martyr? Jeremiah 9:12 “Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that no one can pass through?” There is nothing here in this world worth missing heaven for! We are being prepared for a new reality, an eternal physical reality that consists of peace and harmony, where obedience to God’s righteous laws is inscribed within the soul of every newly recreated man. Never again will we struggle with righteousness, doing what is right will be such a delight. But we have to pass the test of faith here first, where there is opposition, for if we dare to believe in the face of opposition and reproach, in all the wonderful promises of God for those who love Him, them He will not hesitate to invest in us freely the reward of eternal perfect life. I do not belong to this world, I’m of the generation that will fly without wings, I will soar through the galaxies, I will explore the wonders of the universe while glorifying the Creator that enables me to marbled at all His wonders, will you come and join me? Written by Lisa Kane Have you ever asked yourself why does Satan want me? It’s an interesting question and opens up the Bible by bringing a more complete understanding of the entire picture, and it goes back to the very beginning in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:8 New King James Version (NJKV) 8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:15-20 (NJVK) 15 Then the Lord God took [d ]the man and put him in the garden of Eden to [e ]tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you[f ] shall surely die.” 18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [g ]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. The above scriptures show us that Adam was in the Garden of Eden without Eve for some amount of time. We don’t know how much time because the Bible doesn't tell us, but we can guess that at least several months to maybe a handful of years went by where there was no Eve. How do I know this? How many animals, beasts, and birds did God create that Adam named and how long do you think it took Adam to name them all? Imagine this, let’s say God brought in a male and female animal that were gray, big, and heavy with trunks on them and Adam says I will call these elephants. What-if God asked Adam why? And what-if Adam asked God why a skinny tail versus a bigger tail to match its girth? You see God and Adam were talking or having a relationship. They were spending time with one another. God interacted with the image He made of Himself. Genesis 1:26a (NKJV) 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; We were made extremely different then any other creature God had already made. We don’t look like the angels and to top it all off, God was spending time with Adam, not the other angels. Which begs the question, who was in the Garden of Eden watching? Ezekiel 28:13 (NKJV) 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. Satan was in the garden of Eden and he was watching everything going on. He was perplexed and confused to say the least. He couldn’t figure out how could God spend so much time with such an inferior creature? When comparing man against his beauty, there was no comparison. He was made with every precious stone and was so beautiful, yet God wasn’t spending time with him…no he was spending time with Adam. When Satan saw that God placed a female in the Garden and left to give Adam and Eve a ‘honeymoon’, Satan wanted to show God how inferior this creature was. In fact, he wanted to make it such a point to rub it in His face…and was probably thinking that he could do a better job in creating creatures. And that is why Satan wanted us. And he continues to want us to this day because every time he wins, he's hurting God. Satan doesn't care about who you are or what you do but he does care that God loves you so much that he'll do everything in his power to hurt you because he knows it will hurt God. To put it simply, Satan hates God and everything God loves, Satan hates. God showed His love by spending time with Adam. Love is action and God is action. I bet Satan thought he was right when he deceived Eve and Adam. Genesis 3:1-6 (NKJV) 3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was [a ]pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [b ]coverings. But God. He had a bigger plan all along. John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. We’re made in His image and He loves us. He paid a large price, the death of His Son on the cross, to get us back from the curse of sin when Adam and Eve disobeyed God because of Satan's hatred toward Him. Romans 6:23 (NKJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a ]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. After Adam and Eve sinned, they began aging and eventually died. But Jesus broke death by rising from the dead. Matthew 28:6a (NKJV) 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Hallelujah! Now you and I can rise from certain death by believing and Satan may want to hurt us to hurt God but he can't hurt us anymore. God made a way for us to be saved! Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And all it takes is talking to God. It began as a relationship with God and Adam, and it will end in a relationship with God and me (you). Say this out loud: Dear Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross. Forgive me of my sins and come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name Amen! Praise the Lord! You are now saved through Jesus Christ and don’t let anyone or anything tell you otherwise. Protect yourself by staying in that relationship with God because where God is, Satan isn’t. How do you stay in a relationship with God? Read His Word! It will be your foundation and get you through life. You can find free access to the Bible at: https://www.biblegateway.com/ Back to Deliverance Ministry THE SANITATION OF CHRISTIANITY | HoFM Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING THE SANITATION OF CHRISTIANITY 2 Chronicles 13:5 “Should you not know that the Lord God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt?” During Bible days in the Old Testament salt was a very valuable commodity, salt was required as part of most of the sacrifices that were offered to God in the Tabernacle. The symbolism was clear since salt was commonly used back then as an antidote to corruption. Before refrigeration one of the most effective ways to preserve meat, fish or poultry after they were killed, was by dressing then with salt and also saturating then in salt for preservation, hence the value of salt. By a covenant of salt: Second Chronicles makes the statement that when God committed Himself to give the dominion over Israel forever to David and his sons, that it was to be an irrevocable covenant, by making it a covenant of incorruptible salt. Now we know that Israel has never failed to have a descendant of David ruling over them, even to this day, for by David and his sons God meant that Jesus, a descendant from the line of David, would be the one that held the keys that represented God’s incorruptible dominion over Israel. Revelation 3:7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, these things says He who is holy, He who is true, He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.” Notice how Jesus uses the phrase the key of David to announce the rapture of the church; now when John wrote this Revelation, Jerusalem and the temple had already been destroyed. But you see Jesus is stating that as a descendant of David after the flesh, He has dominion over the nation of Israel to be their King forever in accordance with the incorruptible covenant of salt that God entered into with David. And not only that, but also as the head of the church, which is His body, He is both King and High Priest over it; and not only that, but also He is coming back to assume His dominion over all the nations of the world that belong to Him as the last Adam who restores everything to God that the first Adam lost. Colossians 1:18-20 “And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness (head of Israel, head of the church, head of the nations) should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things (the entire creation) to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Imagine how hopeless Satan felt when a mortal of divine origin, who could not be corrupted, assumed the position of King of kings and Lord of lords over all that He Jesus, the Word of God, had originally created, and before those gathered of the assembly, He uttered these astonishing words to all the creation: Hebrews 2:12-14 “…‘I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.’ And again: ‘I will put My trust in Him.’ And again: ‘Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.’ Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through dead He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” Though utterly defeated, the devil knew that his time was not up yet, so as the old saying goes, if you cannot beat them join them. So that in order for him to continue with his malevolent work of corruption, he had to find a way to sanitize the preserving power that God had invested in all mankind when He instituted the covenant of salt. Mark 9:49-50 “For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor (saltiness) how will you season it (make it salty again)? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Here Jesus is prophetically telling His church how the devil would try to neutralized their power to hinder corruption, by making their labor to be the workings of man instead of the ministry of God. When Paul told the church that everyone of their works would be tested by fire, every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt, he was just simply quoting Jesus. Leviticus 2:13 “And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.” So that our offering or service to God, and salt, the antidote to corruption, should always go hand in hand. The devil understood this from the beginning, and knowing that he could not stamped out true Christianity, though he tried, his next best thing was to try and remove the saltiness from those whose labor and ministry was their offering to God. How does a ministry or ministers lose their saltines? Revelation 2:14 “But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.” When Balak hired Balaam to curse the children of Israel, Balaam told him that he could not curse that which God had blessed. After several tries Balak got frustrated because every time Balaam tried to utter the curse words against Israel that Balak was telling him so say, a blessing came out from the mouth of Balaam instead. Not to forfeit the great prize that he, Balaam was offered, he devised a plan that later became a doctrine on how to sanitize, that is to render powerless the corruption preventing covering of the covenant of salt. This is what Balaam taught Moab that they should do to neutralize Israel’s covering and protection: Numbers 25:2-3 “They invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. So Israel was joined to Baal of Peor, and the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel.” The doctrine of Balaam is simply to introduce a ministry or minister to eat of, or to intake, or to partake of demonic doctrines, things sacrificed or offered to idols, so that that ministry or ministers becomes one with Baal, which means lord, a substitute for our real Lord. Once that takes place that ministry looses its saltiness and pretty soon it becomes totally corrupted, unable to proclaim the truth it was ordained to promote. The new world order visionaries of today’s end of times, wish that Christianity and all its influence on humanity could be banished forever, but deep in their hearts they know the impossibility of their dream. They know that when Jesus said that He would built His church and that the gates of hell could not prevail against it, that He was not kidding. So instead they have settled for the contamination of as much of the church and its influence as they can, to nullified the churches power to interfere with their corrupting agenda. At the beginning of the 20th century their agenda started to take shape. One of the tools that they used was that of what they called equality, equality to them does not mean the same thing that it does to us. They demanded that along with creation other theories should be taught in schools, that seemed fair at first, but after they gained a foothold with the theory of evolution, they managed to banish not just the creation story from the curriculum, but the entire Bible from our schools, that is what their definition of equality is. By taking over the faculties of the colleges and universities that once were founded to proclaim the virtues of Christianity and to promote its teachings, such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all men who were willing to seek them. These colleges and universities have now become a corrupt incestuous cesspool of demonic doctrines, festering with nothing but hate for all that is good and decent and noble, hell bent on destroying all godliness in society. I just saw in the news one of such professors saying openly that when they demand equality for gay couples to marry, that that is not really what they are after, for what they are truly after, she said, is the abolition of the institution of marriage; she said, I hate marriage, so that by a very strong implication she is saying if we cannot abolish marriage, then let us denigrate it to the point where it really means nothing. They have also taken over the entertainment, games, and news producing industries in order to promote their anti-God agenda as an acceptable way of life, while at the same time portraying true Christianity falsely in order to turn innocent minds away from God’s saving grace for them. Now they are going as far as saying that our children do not really belong to us; Oh! When it comes to aborting, in that case, the mother has the inalienable right to end their lives at her choosing, but when it comes to Christians teaching their children our faith and way of life; Oh no in that case they belong to the state, and father and mother have no rights over them. I think we are in need of a new definition for idiocy, for clearly they surpass whatever the word idiot means right now. But sadly, all this corruption has its origin in the fact that we have allowed Christianity in our western civilization to be corrupted, we’ve lost our saltines and now we are paying the price for our compromise. Revelation 2:15 “Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” Jesus tells the church at Pergamos of another doctrine that they’ve embraced that preceded the doctrine of Balaam, and which appears to be the culprit that allowed the doctrine of Balaam to infiltrate them. Nico means power and Laitans means laity, put together Nicolaitans means the power of the people. Democracy can be a great thing for a righteous people desirous of good laws to rule them but is a killer for the church. For once an elder of the church becomes subservient to the will of the people he ceases to be God’s servant and becomes nothing more than an ear tickler, promoting an agenda that aims to please the people rather than God. Have salt in yourselves: Remember what Jesus said in Mark 9:50? We may not have control over what goes on in our local churches, but we definitely have control into what we take in. You do not have to be part of any idolatrous pursuits that your church engages in to either please the crowds or to attract new comers by looking worldly. Remember that those who keep God’s Word, saltines, and do not deny the deity of Jesus, do not entertain Baal, will not have to go through the seasoning of fire that Jesus told us is coming to test all those who live in the world: Rev. 3:8/10 1 John 2:28 “And now, little children, abide in Him (have salt in yourselves, refute corruption), that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.” Amen!
