Top of Page SPIRITUAL JOY Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Spiritual joy comes as the direct result of spiritual life, you cannot separate them, where there is no spiritual life there is no spiritual joy. We maybe very happy due to our position in life, but our position in life is not the source for spiritual joy, for if our position in life changes for the worse, then our reason for happiness is removed. Not so with spiritual joy, once you have it you can never lose it. For our joy is based on the gift of eternal life, and God’s gifts are irrevocable. ​ Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” In the day of Pentecost Peter began to preach to the multitudes who had gathered around the disciples after a tornado, a rushing mighty wind, had settled over and filled the house where they were praying. Peter told the crowd that they were witnessing that which the prophet Joel had prophesied about as being the mission statement of the newly born church of our Lord Jesus Christ; and this is what Peter told them: Acts 2:22-25 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed (destroy or abolished) the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” Peter gets right to the point and tells the multitudes that the Jesus that they’ve crucified and killed, is the very One whom God had appointed to destroy the pains of death itself, for Peter tells them that it is impossible for death to keep hold of the Author and Sustainer of Life. Then the very next Scripture that he quotes to them is from Psalm 16, our opening text; Peter tells them that when David wrote Psalm 16 he was not speaking about himself, but about Israel’s future Messiah, and plainly tells them that the fulfillment of David’s prophecy has been accomplished by the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth from the dead. Acts 2:27 “For You will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10 “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” The point that Peter is trying to make to them is that death has been conquered by Jesus going to the cross, and that the path or way for eternal life had been made known to man, and that is the very reason why we have joy. Acts 2:28 “You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.” Psalm 118:14-15 “The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord (Jesus) does valiantly.” Psalm 118 is the center chapter of the Bible; it is preceded by the shortest chapter in the Bible and it is followed by the longest chapter in the Bible, I guess that we can call it the long and the short of it. The center verses of chapter 118 and of the Bible itself, speaks of how the Lord has become our salvation and how that is our reason for rejoicing. Although I called it Spiritual Joy it is very much physically present within all true believers. The reason why I called it spiritual is because this joy is independent of whatever our physical situation might be. I also stated the this joy is a gift from God and that His gifts are irrevocable. Let me enumerate a few reasons as to why we should all be rejoicing in this joy that emanates from our born again spirit and permeates every fiber of our souls. Psalm 118:1 “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” He is good! We know that, for He saved us from all our sins, but let us remember also that His mercy towards us is everlasting. In the letter to the Hebrews we are told that by two immutable things God established His covenant with us: Number one is that the God who cannot lie swore on an oath, number two, that He would not change His mind. This is very important, for from our human perspective we make commitments that are based on our present circumstances, and when those circumstances change, we sometimes find it reasonable to change our minds about our original commitment. We are tempted within our human nature to believe that God changes His mind about our salvation when the circumstances warrant it, but that way of thinking is not within God’s nature, and He wanted us to know that. Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in which it is impossible for God to lie…” Hebrews 7:21 “But He (Jesus) became a priest with an oath when God said to Him: ‘The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind: You are a priest forever.’” NIV So that our salvation is not dependent on our present or future situations, but rather in the immutability of the oath of the God who does not lie and who swore that He would not change His mind about our salvation that was entrusted to the Priesthood of Jesus. Now that is the headspring of the living waters of the well of salvation and the reason for our unshakable joy. Psalm 118:5-6 “I called on the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” So, what happens if in our daily walk we fall, falter, or fail? They that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, delivered into a broad place! What if I come under demonic attack? The Lord is on my side and will always be on my side. He promised and said that He would not change His mind, so therefore we have no fear, there is nothing that man can do to us in regards to our salvation. Now there is another reason for joy. Psalm 118:7 “The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.” The Lord is our vindication and our source of joy, for we know that while in this world we will have tribulations that are brought about by our enemies. But God is our present help in time of need and we know that He can be fully trusted. Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” What greater joy can a person have than being able to say with such great confidence, I am not going to die, I am going to live, and I will testify about God’s faithfulness. And here is the main reason why we can rejoice! Psalm 118:18 “The Lord has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death.” It is true that the Lord is our Father and as such He will chasten us, for we are not illegitimate children, BUT HE WILL NEVER DISOWN US! It is no wonder that there is so much praise and joy as the Psalm comes to a close: Psalm 118:28-29 “You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” How can we not love a God that loves us so much? How can we not rejoice when we have a merciful God like Him for our Father? At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore! Top of Page SPIRITUAL HEALING 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The human body is made of three distinct parts; spirit, soul, and body. One physical unit with two spiritual components, the most important of the three is the spirit. If the spirit-man, as I call it, is sick or weak, everything else will be affected by it. As a matter of fact, there can be no true healing for the soul (mind) or for the physical body, unless and until the spirit-man becomes born again. ​ But even born-again spirits can falter under the pressures of this worldly corrupt system of which we are part of. Proverbs 18:14 “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? In other words, if the spirit-man is broken we are in real trouble. In this lesson I want to deal with the functions and conditions of the spirit-man and try to figure, from Scripture, how to bring spiritual healing to those who might be having problems with their spiritual condition. How do we Christians know if we need spiritual healing? 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” If we are experiencing problems worshiping, or glorifying God, in spite of our circumstances, we probably have a spiritual malady that needs to be remedied. A healthy spirit-man is impervious to physically induced trials, for the spirit-man is not sustained by physical means. John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The spirit-man’s sustenance comes via the truth, Jesus is the Truth, and Jesus said in: John 6:63 “...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (for the spirit-man).” When a Christian is struggling in his spiritual relationship with God, meaning he/she is having trouble worshiping God in spirit, is due to the lack of truth within the spirit-man. For a healthy spirit-man is not troubled by physical circumstances, but rather, it rejoices in tribulations, and it grows stronger every time it takes on the lies of this world. If a healthy dose of God’s truth can make the spirit-man strong and able to thrive in this corrupt world environment, then the opposite is true as well, a lying spirit, uttering lying words, can make the spirit-man sick if the spirit-man indulges in the lies that its being offered. Malachi 2:15-16 “...Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth...Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.” Twice in consecutive verses God gives a stern warning to the people of Malachi’s days, concerning the condition of their spirit-man, take heed to your spirit, God told them twice. Within the context God is dealing with them about divorce, which God hates, and the truth of the laws concerning the putting away of one’s wife. Because they had perverted God’s laws to their own advantage, that is what dealing treacherously means, God is saying to them, watch out for the well being of your spirit-man for you are in violation of the truth of the Word of God. Ezekiel 21:7 “...Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass…” In the above passage God is telling the people of Israel that because of their abominations, He is going to judge them severely. But I want you to look at the progression of how the spirit-man becomes weak and faint; It begins with these words: because of the news of that which was about to happen to them, fear originated in their hearts and then it manifested itself in the body with their hands becoming feeble and their knees weak. Now let us turn that around, if our spirit-man is weak and feeble because of the fears that we have been entertaining, what happens if we introduce our spirit-man to the good news and precious promises found in the truth of God’s Word. Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons (your spirit-man is born again), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son (in the spirit-man), and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” We are no longer slaves to fear, fear of the slander of the enemy, for God’s perfect love that has been shed abroad in our hearts casts out all fear. There is no reason for us to fret about our present condition, or about the future, be it our future, our children’s future, our families future, our nation’s future. There will be tribulations that we will face, but they will only make our spirits stronger, for that confirms the Word of God in which we are feeding. A healthy spirit is a strong spirit. Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water (the truth of God’s Word) on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit (born-again spirit) within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Spiritual healing begins when we drink into our spirit-man the clean water of the Word of God, renounce the filth and idolatries of this lie-infested world system, and put on the new man, the spirit-man that is created in the image of Jesus. Top of Page Top of Page 2020 to 2030: THE DECADE OF DESTINY Song of Solomon 6:10 “Who is she who looks forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, awesome as an army with banners?” ​ This is how the Beloved sees His perfect bride, the church of His delight, whom He is coming soon to rescue. There is an extremely high probability that this coming decade will see the rapture of the church before the decade is over, ushering in the seven years long dreaded Day of the Lord, before the thousand years reign of Christ is established upon the earth. 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…” ​ Many Christians believe that since no one can know with certainty when the rapture will take place that we should not be looking intently for the coming of this blessed event. 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6 “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day (the Day of the Lord) should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light (as the morning/clear as the sun) and sons of the day. We are not of the night or of darkness (we should not be clueless). Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.” We may not know with certainty when the resurrection of the righteous saints, which is followed immediately by the rapture of the righteous church will take place, but we do have plenty of biblical sings that will point us to the knowledge that its coming is eminent. We are to watch soberly for the signs that will point us to that faithful day! So that it does not take us by surprise. Mark 13:29 “So you also, when you see these things happening (signs that will precede the rapture of the church), know that it is near—at the doors!” The early church believed that the rapture of the church would take place in their day and eagerly waited for that event in their lifetime. After the apostolic age many of the disciples of the apostles realized that the day of the Lord would be revealed on the third day and that each day represented a thousand years. They based their belief on the following Scriptures: Psalm 90:4 “For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.” ​ 2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” For that reason many expected that at the beginning of our third millennium something radical would happen, which it did not, remember Y2K? That is because the thousand year’s day did not begin with the birth of Jesus Christ but rather with His death and resurrection which happened thirty three years after His birth. The age of God’s grace began to be proclaimed to the entire world after the church was filled with the promised of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” ​ What is it that makes this 2020-30 decade so critical that something radical has to take place in it? There is a very precise promise in the Old Testament concerning the end of the second day (two thousand years) and the beginning of the third day (the millennium reign of Jesus Christ). Hosea 6:2 “After two days He will revive us (resurrection); on the third day He will raise us up, that we might live (kingdom age) in His sight.” If we believe that a day represents a thousand years for the church age, and that the church age begun after the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; then according to Hosea, the resurrection and the rapture will happen at the end of the second day or at the end of two thousand years from when the church was commissioned! And the third day—or one thousand years—will begin the reign of Jesus Christ, after the seven Years Day of the Lord is completed. We do not know with certainty what year Jesus was born; we know that He was crucified thirty-three and a half years after He was born. The church was commissioned fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, but we do not know the exact year. Jesus was probably born on the year two BC, give or take a couple of years. If He was born two years before our present calendar, and you count the year zero as a year, then Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the year 30 AD and the church was commissioned fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead on the year 30 AD; as I said, give or take two or three years. This is the most crucial time in the history of the church, for if the resurrection and rapture do not take place before the end of this 20-30 decade, then we as the church, will have to take a long hard look at the Scriptures upon which most of our premises for His return are based. The signs that precede the return of the Lord to the earth will let us know that the time is near. Acts 2:17-18 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.” After a big whirlwind attracted thousands to the Upper Room, where the disciples were gathered and this large crowd wondered what it could mean that tongues of fire were resting on about one hundred and twenty of the disciple’s heads. Hearing them prophesying the wonders of God in their own foreign languages, Peter stood up and told the crowd that prophecy was being fulfilled in front of their very eyes. The first half of this prophecy that we just quoted, signaled the birth of the church age as the Spirit of God filled them with power and the wonders of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:19-21 “I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord (This part has not happened yet). And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The first half of this prophecy applied to the birth or beginning of the church age, and was fulfilled almost two thousand years ago, when three thousand believers were added to the church. And the second half of this prophecy will be fulfilled at the end of the church age, before the church is taken up in the rapture after which the feared and dreadful Day of the Lord will begin. Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light (this represents the end of the church age; remember our opening Scripture, the sun and moon refer to the church age: Fair as the moon, clear as the sun Son of Solomon 6:10) ; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Italics added by me) Immediately after the tribulation of those days: Jesus told His church that in this world we would have tribulation; at the end of the church age there will be no more tribulation for the church of Jesus Christ, for we will be gathered with the Lord in our new and glorified bodies. Amos 5:20 “Is not the day of the Lord darkness and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?” Light represents God’s grace—demonstrated through His church while on this earth—and darkness represents God’s judgment after the light of the church is removed from this earth! It is imperative to understand that the Day of the Lord is the Day when God’s Wrath is unleashed against all the inhabitants of the earth, all those who refused to accept His free offer of Grace. It is a Day indeed of great tribulation, the kind that has never been experienced before, but it comes from God against humanity. The tribulation that the church is experiencing today comes not from God, but from those in the world who reject the kingdom of God. So that in this present world the church is experiencing tribulation from those who practice evil in this world. But immediately after the church is removed, the Day of the Lord—which is the Day of His Wrath—will begin against all those who are left behind in the world. If we interpret these Scriptures literally; as we should when possible, we will learn that before the rapture takes place, we will witness the powers of the heavens been shaken. What will be the duration of these signs before the rapture takes place? We can only estimate according to the Scriptures. Jesus tells us that these last days will be like the days of Noah. Since that is the case, Noah and his family knew seven days ahead of time that the deluge was imminent. Genesis 7:4-5 “For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made. And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him.” When Jesus told us that the end time would be like the days of Noah, many think that it means that there is no way to know when the end is coming; but that only applies to the unbelievers and to those who do not prepare themselves. But for the believers who are awake and discerning the signs and times of the end, and are looking for and loving His appearing, we will recognize the signs: When you see these things happening, know that it is near—at the doors!” The Bible many times confirms Scriptures by the use of numbers. Fifty days after Jesus rose from the dead, the Holy Spirit fell on about one hundred and twenty names: Acts 1:15. Peter quoted the prophecy of Joel which spoke of the beginning and of the end of the church age. The beginning represented by the number when it begun; on the fiftieth day—Pentecost. The end represented by the number one hundred and twenty which represents the end of an age, as in the days of Noah when God put a limit of 120 years to the world that was, as the ark was been built, before the deluge came and took them all away on the one hundred and twentieth year. What is interesting about the number one hundred and twenty is that it is about the amount of days between Pentecost and the Day of Atonement. And ten days before the Day of Atonement we have the feast of Rosh Hashanah which marks the beginning of the Days of awe which are ten. Chances are that the Days of Awe will be the days when the signs are given to mankind, to get them to repent and to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved before the judgment Day. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. 1 Peter 3:20-21 “Who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited (one hundred and twenty years) in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” What is an antitype? For one hundred and twenty years the ark was built, but it was not big enough to save all those who perished during the flood had they repented or if they repented. 2 Peter 2:5 “And did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly.” The building of the ark was the sermon that Noah preached; Death by water! Death was coming by a flood, and it required their repentance and death before the flood came in order to be saved. Methuselah, the oldest man who ever lived, died the year of the flood, but before the flood came. How do we know? Methuselah means: when he is dead it shall come: the flood. Did all who repented die before the judgment of God came by the flood? There was definitely no room in the ark for all of them! Methuselah may be a type that those who repented, after hearing Noah’s preaching, were removed from the earth through natural death, and spared God’s judgment. Isaiah 57:1 “The righteous perishes (dies), and no man takes it to heart; merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from (the judgment of) evil.” ​ That was clearly the case for Methuselah, and probably as a type, for all those who like Methuselah repented and were removed by way of death before the flood judgment begun. The antitype is that there is enough room for all of us who repent in this present day ark of God, His church, to be saved and spare from the judgment to come. Ironically it is through water baptism that we testify, and with a good conscience, that we will be removed from this world before the dreadful Day of the Lord is unleashed upon an unsuspecting world. Revelation 3:8, 10 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name...Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” ​ If you believe that the sixty-six books of our Holy Bible are the Inspired Word of God, and if you believe that Jesus is the divine Son of God, and have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord, then you will not be left behind. The hour of testing does not apply to those who have already entered into His rest! Hebrews 4:3, 9 “For we who have believed do enter that rest…There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.” ​ Before the Day of God’s wrath begins, God is going to try and save as many people as possible, from as many parts of the world as possible. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” Jesus is going to return to the earth the same way that He was taken up, in a cloud, and visible to all those who were gazing intently as He was taken up into glory. (6) Acts 1:10-11 “And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, ‘Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.’” So that the return of Jesus to this world is not going to be a secret thing, is going to be a very public event, visible to everyone on this entire planet, contrary to what many have taught. Matthew 24:25-27 “See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” It is within the context of the verses that we just read—that the return of our Lord is a worldwide event like lightning flashing from the east to the west, so His brightness will light up the entire atmosphere—that we are told in the following verses that before the sign of the Son of Man appears in heaven: the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light as confirmation that the church of Jesus Christ is about to be removed from this earth and taken up to the clouds to be with the Lord forever and ever. 2 Timothy 4:8 “Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” Paul is speaking about resurrection day, and the crown of righteousness refers to his new and glorified body that our Lord will give him on that faithful Day. Not just to him, but to all who have loved His appearing and have died with this blessed hope as an anchor to their souls. And as we well know, those of us who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air with our glorified bodies as well, immediately after the resurrection. ​ This may be the final decade of life as we know it in this planet earth, make sure you are ready; and remember, God wants you to bring with you all your love ones and friends who are not saved as well. Let your life shine as a witness to them. Top of Page CREATURES OF THE FOURTH DIMENSION Ephesians 3:14-19 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” ​ Have you ever wonder why God made us different than the angels? In the New International Version footnote for the word translated “family” it shows that it could also be translated as “fatherhood” since after all God is the creator and Father of all the celestial creatures as well as all the earthly creatures. Let us compare the two and see what it is that truly separates us humans from our heavenly counterparts. The first obvious difference is that we humans are mortals and that the angels are not, but that is not really true, for as far as God is concerned all humans are still alive to Him even after they die. Death to a human is separation from the physical realm and its dwellers, but not separation from God or the sovereignty over which He rules. When a human dies he/she is carried by the angels to one of two places: Heaven (light) which is the place from where God rules, or Hades (darkness) which is the place where incarcerated souls await the Day of God’s Final Judgment. But even Hades falls under God’s jurisdiction and all its dwellers and rulers are subject to God’s laws and decrees. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 “So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home (physical realm) in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body (the physical realm) and to be present with the Lord (in the four dimensional spiritual realm called the kingdom of the heavenly lights. James 1:17).” There is still no difference between humans and angels in this matter concerning the fact that not all humans make it to the presence of the Lord in Heaven but rather many end up in Hades, for it is the same with the angels, not all of them are in God’s presence, for one third of them ended up in the Abyss as well. Jude 6 “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode (the kingdom of the heavenly lights), He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.” So if God’s celestial creatures share the same qualities of free will that we humans possess, and have the capacity to err the same as we do, then what makes us so different? I will make the case that it is the place and not the state of our similar natures that makes all the difference. The angelic creatures abide in a four dimensional spiritual realm while we humans occupy a three dimensional physical realm! All living humans can be redeemed from the errors of their way before they enter the fourth dimensional spiritual realm through death’s door, meanwhile those angelic creatures which erred in the fourth dimension can never be redeemed. You see time is the fourth dimension and we humans who are physically alive are bound to “the present” and have not yet entered the future eternity that awaits us all. That is what makes us redeemable, while the angelic creatures already abide in eternity and basically do not have any future left to them other than the one they have already chosen for themselves. Psalm 8:4-8 “What is (physical) man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen — even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” In the three dimensional realm that we occupy we are able to move forwards and backwards, side to side and up and down, but always within the confines of the present; past and future are always out of our human reach, that is the meaning of us being made a little lower than the angels (three is lower than four), for in the fourth dimension, past, present and future interact in a manner that is difficult for three dimensional dwellers to fully comprehend. Hebrews 13:8 “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians was that they: may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height of the workings of this four dimensional realm since that is where our Lord lives and where we are going to be when we depart this physical realm. Unlike the angels who did not get a second chance when they erred, we humans are in training if you will, being prepared to attain a higher order of existence where we can freely operate in the realm of being the same yesterday, today, and forever. Ezekiel 28:14-16 “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.” From the fall of Lucifer we learn that the angelic creatures were created to occupy and operate in the four dimensional realm where past, present and future went back and forth in the midst of fiery stones and interacted as one unit. They were like us created in the image of God with free will, and as soon as they sinned they were cast out and barred from access to the knowledge of God’s plans for the future and were disabled from interfering with the past; since spiritual creatures cannot die, God destroyed their ability to operate in the midst of the fiery stones. Hebrews 12:28-29 “Therefore, since we are receiving a (four dimensional) kingdom which cannot be shaken (interfered with), let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” After the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai for six days, the Lord called Moses on the Sabbath to enter into the midst of the cloud on top of the mountain which looked to the Israelites as a consuming fire. The typology is clear, mortal men are bound by time present until they enter the Sabbath Day of Rest, then we will be able to move in the midst of the fiery stones that are at the center of time itself on the mountain of God where our God’s throne is in the fourth dimension. Exodus 24:16-18 “Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” I believe Moses walked into the center of time itself, and from that four dimensional perspective he was able to see the entirety of man’s history as it unfolded from beginning to end, writing down only that which he was told to write as he gazed at the wonders of the panoramic view of the history of all mankind from creation to its final conclusion. Matthew 17:1-3 “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.” Look a the similarities; this event took place after six days or in the seventh which symbolizes the Day of Rest, they were led to the top of the mountain just like Moses was, and the face of Jesus shone like the sun which looks like a bright consuming fire. What I believe happened here was that when Moses fifteen hundred years earlier, stood at the center of time itself and gaze at the future and was looking into the days of Jesus’ ministry, Jesus went up to the mountain and opened a porthole into the past that allowed three of His disciples to meet with Moses and Elijah, therefore transcending time and space. Jesus simply put, took His three disciples into the fourth dimension. Jesus was not showing off, He was teaching them! Luke 9:28 “Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.” Luke’s account differs from Mathew’s and Mark’s in that it does not say “after six days” but puts the emphasis on the number “eight” which is the number for new beginnings. Luke 9:30-31 “And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease (departure back into the fourth dimension) which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.” Because of the work that Jesus accomplished on the cross as He died, and His resurrection from the dead after the third day which is referred to as the firstfruits which implies a new beginning; there is now an open door into the fourth dimension that is available to all the saints who die to self and are raised with Christ. Hebrews 4:3 “For we who have believed do enter that rest…” Hebrews 4:10 “For he (the believer) who has entered His (Jesus) rest has himself also ceased (transcended) from his works (bondage to time) as God did from His (six days of creating).” Ephesians 1:17-20 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand (at the center of time it self) in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 2:4-6 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” What does it all mean? John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” Since death and decay are traits of the third dimension and life eternal is the gift offered in the fourth dimension, and we, by virtue of His grace have already entered life (passed from death), that simply says to me that we are now qualified to operate in the fourth dimension. Now here is another typology that will help us to put our trust in the veracity of God’s Word. Daniel 3:25 “Look! He answered, ‘I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.’” If you’ve read or heard the story of the three Hebrew children who refused to bow down before the golden image and how they were thrown into a fire that was made “seven times” hotter than usual, you might have missed the typology of this event. I believe the spiritual meaning of this historical event is that there are three Hebrew Prophets who were taken into the center of time (seven dispensations) itself by the Son of God, and were allowed to view human history in its entirety from beginning to end so that they could have an understanding of it, but only write about what they were told to write. These three Hebrew prophets were none other than Moses who brought to us the revelation of The Law, Paul who brought to us the revelation of The Gospel, and John who brought to us the revelation of The End of Time. This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of Moses: Numbers 12:6-8 “Then He said, ‘Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house (past, present and future: Remember that He is the same yesterday, today and forever, that’s where God lives). I speak with him face to face…’” This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of Paul: Galatians 1:11-12 “But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me (Paul) is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ (the Son of God).” This is what Scriptures tells us about the ministry of John: Revelation 4:1 “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me (John), saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’” The spiritual meaning of all of this is that humans who dwell in this three dimensional realm have access into the fourth dimension as it has been clearly portrayed in Scripture. Which leads me to ask this question: Is this access into the fourth dimension available to all humans or just a privileged few? And what is the mechanism needed to achieve such a feat? Let’s look at the Scripture verses that I started with and change the emphasis to see if they answer the questions that I’ve just asked. Ephesians 3:14-19 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Remember that the comprehension that Paul is praying about is that they may be able to understand the nature of the four dimensional spiritual realm (width and length and depth and height). And Paul’s prayer is that God would grant that ability to them the Ephesians, because it is available to all those who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which includes all the saints. That clears up the first question; it is available to all the saints but not all humans. What about the mechanics of it? “To be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.” To be strengthened means to be empowered and to increase in vigor (the revelation is progressive); might means ability that comes through His Spirit therefore the requirement to be born again saints who are born of the Spirit of God in the inner man (and is comprehensive towards), those who are born again through faith. That “Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” What that means is that every born again believer has been empowered with the ability to increase in faith in the inner man through the revelation that the Holy Spirit gives to us as we place our beliefs in God’s Word; that’s what increases our faith. That brings us into what our motives ought to be when we operate in this new (to us) realm. “Being rooted and grounded in love.” John 14:22-23 “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, ‘Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world (unbelievers)?’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (fourth dimension) with him (in the inner man).’” Luke 17:21 “…For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” The right motives is the key, if our motives for operating in the fourth dimension are not rooted and grounded in God’s love nothing is going to happen! This part of the lesson is probably going to be the hardest one for me to explain, since I am still struggling to understand what the Scriptures are clearly teaching us, that we have been empowered with the abilities to transcend time and space. Job 23:8-12 “Look, I go forward, but He is not there, and backward, but I cannot perceive Him; when He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; when He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him. But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” The difference between angels and humans is that the future of the angels is already set, while ours is not. From God’s perspective the lost angels are lost forever, the lost humans are not. Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” There has to be a good reason why God made us a little lower than the angels, according to Job it was this: “He has tested me” What did Job mean? What was he being tested for? In the context of the testing Job said that he was unable to perceive God within this three dimensional realm of back and forth, right and left and not knowing what his future was in God: Job 23:3 “Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, that I might come to His seat!” Job 23:17 “Because I was not cut off from the presence of darkness, and He did not hide deep darkness from my face.” This is what I believe: In order to operate successfully in the realm of being the same yesterday, today and forever, one must like Job: “I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” Treasure God’s Word and the Spirit of Love above all else; let me explain: My actions here in the present always have consequences, good or bad; is called the law of sowing and reaping also known as cause and effect. I learn from my triumphs as well as my failures, that is what I am tested for here, where I have many second chances, since in the fourth dimension failure is not an option, so that I must pass the test here and have my ability to fail removed so that when I enter eternity, my new nature could never be changed again. 1 John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.” Think with me a second, if I could witness first hand the consequences that my wrong actions would bring on another human being, would I do them any way? If I could witness the pain, feel the suffering and taste the bitter tears that my actions would cause another to suffer before I commit them, would I relent and do the right thing? Or would I satisfy my selfish desires and wrong others anyway? You know as well as I do that there are some who would do others wrong any way, because they love themselves more than those they hurt, or because the circumstances require it: “Is either them or me” It is in our human nature to be self-centered. That is why a new nature is required! John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” Let’s try to imagine what it would be like to live in such an environment where we can have instant access to what the possible consequences of our actions would be before we did them. If everybody there would do what is best for everybody else, then there would be no more pain, no more suffering, no hate, no fear, no animosity, we would all live in perfect harmony. Revelation 21:3-4 “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.’” Though we have already been qualified to operate in the four dimensional spiritual realm, it is through our actions in this third dimension that we are able to affect this present reality by infusing the qualities of the “age to come” into our surroundings. Sea, air, flesh and ground: “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen — even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas.” Adam and Eve were in Paradise and the dominion that they were given to rule over transcended time and space for it was a four- dimensional dominion. Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." However, there was one thing that they were lacking, they had to be clothed for they were both naked, they had to choose to be clothed in the inner man from either the fruit of the tree of life or from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. After they failed the test they were driven out of their four dimensional perch. Read the chapter titled First Adam’s Paradise Lost in my book Man’s Final Destiny for the details of how Adam and Eve failed to trust in God’s word: Posted here . John 17:1-5 “Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh (physical three dimensional realm), that He should give eternal life (past, present and future life) to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You (remember how Job was unable to fully know God in the three dimensional realm), the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the (four dimensional) glory which I had with You before the world was.’” I conclude then that the first Adam was never able to fully enter into the dominion power for which God had originally created him, because of his inability to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life. Therefore all humans were confined, because of Adam’s failure, to a three dimensional existence that excluded the physical eternal life of being the same yesterday, today and forever. I emphasize that Jesus the last Adam, did that which the first Adam was unable to do, that is; He divested Himself first of all of His previous glory and became naked, both literally on the cross and metaphorically in the life He lived confined to a three dimensional realm, and totally and completely trusted God’s Word, even to the point of becoming the sin bearer for all humanity and taking all those transgressions upon His body and nailing them to death, even death on the cross. Once He died He was left at the mercy of the One who made the Promise: Psalm 16:10 “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” What a wonderful God we serve! He demands complete trust to His Word, and then He, by example, show us that veracity and trustworthiness of God’s Word as He Himself submits to every single one of those precious Words. This is that which transcends; faith, hope and love, and the greatest is love. The past cannot separate us from God’s love, neither does the future; maybe the present? NO! Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” What is the thing that limits you today my friend? Do you have a stained past? Is your present like a hopeless dark dungeon? How do you see your future? Is it bleak and unbearable? In an instant your history, past, present and future can be re-written! How can that be you may ask? When a sinner appears before the heavenly court and confesses all his/her sins before that court, the judgment is rendered instantly, he/she is found guilty and the penalty is death. But if Jesus is your advocate and the reason that you are confessing all your sins before God’s court, then the penalty for all of your sins is atoned for by the sacrifice that Jesus offered before God’s court in your behalf. So that the life that you now live is a brand new life, your past is in the cross and your future is in His glory, and your present is HIM. You may have to endure some pain, but it will not be your pain it will be His pain, and what an honor it is to share in His pain! You may have to suffer some shame, but it will not be your shame it will be His shame that He endured on the cross, oh what a privilege it is to share in that shame! You may be limited somehow, but it will be for the sake of His unlimited love that is demonstrated through those who continuously die to self so that others may see the limitless Christ to whom we belong. Whether we know it or not all the saints already transcend time and space, for we are all seated at the right hand of God with Jesus: “Made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” But dominion is something that has to be executed, is an action taken by the saints on behalf of humanity. That is why we are commanded to bind on earth that which has already been bound in heaven, and to loose on earth that which has already been loosed in heaven. We can by our prayers and actions influence the course of history in accordance with God’s destiny. Psalm 78:41 “Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.” My aim in this writing is that we dare to expand our thinking and not limit our King and His power that He is so willingly eager to demonstrate on behalf of those who dare to believe in Him and in the power of His resurrection. ​ Oh Lord You are beautiful, Your face is all I see, for when Your eyes are on this child Your grace abounds to me! Top of Page Top of Page PROPHECY BY NUMBERS Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published 12/5/21 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.” We are told in the letter to the Hebrews 7:25 that Jesus saves us to the uttermost; that is that our spirit, soul and body will all be gathered up together at His soon return. There is a spiritual principle at work here that if we understand it, will reveal to us how everything in life follows a carefully numbered and prescribed prophetic pattern. For example: the human spirit is saved instantly at the moment of the new birth, during what is commonly known as the born-again experience. After responding to the conviction of the Holy Spirit and accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord, our spirit-man is instantly made alive to God—been previously dead or separated from God, for in sin we were conceived—during the new birth experience our spirit-man is immediately transported into the very presence of God’s throne to wait for the completion of the salvation of the soul and of the body. That is why there is joy in the presence of the angels of God in heaven over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10 Ephesians 2:6 “And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This already happened to the spirit of all who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Our spirit-man was raised and sitted with Jesus at the moment of our salvation. 1 John 3:9 “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed (Jesus’ spiritual down payment) remains in him (the sinner who repents) ; and he (the spirit of the person who repented) cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” Italics added for emphasis. The born-again experience can only be applied to our spirit-man who at the moment of our salvation is taken up to the heavenly places and made to sit with Christ Jesus where he—our spirit-man—who has been born of God does not sin. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the END (goal) of your faith—the salvation of your souls.” On the other hand, the goal of our faith is the salvation of our soul or personality, which is a life-long process which ends at the time of our death, when our soul must appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give an account for the things that we did after our salvation be it good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that EACH ONE MAY RECEIVE (a reward or lack of it) the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” Italics added for emphasis. So that while we are here on this earth we still have to fight the battle between good and evil. 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” JUSTIFICATION then is for the spirit-man and can only be received by faith in the blood of Jesus and by trust in the grace of God. Romans 3:24-25 “Being JUSTIFIED freely by HIS GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by HIS BLOOD, through FAITH…” SANCTIFICATION is for the human soul and it is attained by daily obedience to the truthfulness of the Word of God. John 17:17 “SANCTIFY them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” GLORIFICATION which is the transformation of the physical body that goes from glory to glory here on earth until it dies and then waits for that blessed hope, at the return of Jesus Christ to the earth, when it is resurrected a glorified body that will never die: saved to the uttermost. 1 Corinthians 15:54-55 “So when this corruptible has put incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’ ‘O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?’ ” Proverbs 30:21 “For THREE things the earth is perturbed, yes, for FOUR it cannot bear up.” In this proverb the Lord reveals to us a powerful spiritual principle that applies to the inner workings of prophecy itself. Revelation 19:10 “…For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” As I study the Scriptures I find that there are always three spirits at work in whatever situation we are looking at, and the matter is completed when the forth spiritual force comes into play. The testimony of Jesus always completes what the Bible refers to as the four winds. Ezekiel 37:9 “Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath’, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Come from the FOUR WINDS, O breath, and breathe on these slain that they may live.’ ” We see the progression of the four winds played out in the foundational doctrine of salvation: The process of Justification, Sanctification and Glorification which can only be completed when Jesus returns to the earth and sets up His kingdom here on earth. Jesus Himself being the fourth which the earth cannot bear up, that is why Armageddon takes place before His kingdom begins. Zechariah 6:1, 5 “Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, FOUR chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze…And the angel answered and said to me, ‘These are FOUR spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.” The FOUR winds of heaven are FOUR spirits that sometimes are portrayed as chariots that are led by different color horses, or as riders riding on the different colored horses themselves. Revelation 6:1 “Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the FOUR living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, ‘Come and see.’ ” The first FOUR seals of Revelation chapter six follow the same pattern of three winds or spirits fomenting a matter and then followed by a forth, which when it is introduced it brings to a full completion the matter that it is dealing with. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” For clarification purposes we need to understand how this principle of things which are seen and not seen works. Everything that is seen falls under the law of entropy; eventually all things that are visible will come to an unavoidable end and thereby accomplish an unseen or spiritual purpose for-ordained by God who sends the four winds to begin with. Revelation 1:2 “Who bore WITNESS (testified) to the WORD OF GOD, and to the TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST, to all things that he saw.” As we read the Bible we will find that when describing those things which are seen or visible God uses a lineal formula: He created everything in six days and then rested in the seventh. We see that in the physical TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST in the letters to the SEVEN churches; The sixth letter to the sixth church completes the purpose—He opened a door of escape—for the church age, while the seventh church is left behind not part of His work of grace any more. While describing those things which are invisible or spiritual, God uses the three plus one formula revealed to us in Proverbs 30:21 . The TESTIMONY of the WORD OF GOD to the seven churches is a spiritual testimony, so that the four horsemen revealed at the opening of the first four seals completes the church age. While the last three seals deals with the consequences. The fifth seal deals with the martyr’s from the beginning of the church age who must wait for the number of their fellow servants and their brethren to be killed as they were—when that number is reached the fourth seal will be released. The sixth seal describes the rapture as Jesus returns in the clouds. Remember how the FOUR chariots were coming from between two mountains made of bronze? I believe bronze here symbolizes the martyr’s who had to die during their trials by fire. The sixth seal completes the beginning and the end of the age of God’s grace, which is bookmarked by the blood of the martyr’s. What a beautiful end to God’s glorious church! The seventh seal introduces a new era, in this case the beginning of God’s Wrath upon all those who rejected the salvation offered to the entire world during the age of God’s Grace. That means that we are eagerly awaiting the introduction of the fourth seal to usher in the completion of God’s Age of Grace. Luke 21:8-11 “And He said: Take heed that you not be DECEIVED. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of WARS and commotions, do not be terrified: for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He said to them, nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be FEARFUL SIGHTS and great signs from heaven.” Notice how Jesus connects the opening of the first three seals in Revelation chapter six to His account in Luke: First deception /antichrist, then wars and commotions follow by fearful sights. DECEPTION comes through the spirit of antichrist who is revealed as riding on a white horse. This spirit was released when the guards who witness the angel telling them about the empty tomb were bribed to denied that Jesus had physically risen from the dead. 1 John 4:3 “And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ HAS COME IN THE FLESH is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is NOW already in the world.” You cannot counterfeit something that does not exist. The spirit of Antichrist could not be revealed until after the real Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Matthew 28:3-6, 12-13 “His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the GUARDS shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay’…When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers (guards), saying, ‘Tell them, His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ ” The above Scriptures officially confirms the very moment when the spirit of antichrist was released and it was THERE already in the world during the days of John’s writings and it is still here with us today until he is given a body to possess in the middle of the Day of God’s Wrath, only to be taken captive at the end of God’s Wrath, and thrown alive into the Lake of Fire. The opening of the second seal represents WARS, I think this seal was probably released with the war that led to the destruction of Herod’s temple before the generation of Jesus’ day ended. It is the same spirit of wars that took the world into two world wars. This same spirit will be given power to make war over one fourth of the earth—the Middle East—when the fourth seal is open and the Lord will intervene on behalf of the nation of Israel. I believe that right now we are smack in the middle of the third seal, which might have been released with the introduction of the atomic age. Revelation 6:5-6 “When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’ ” Bread, oil and wine are not only the basis of any economic system, but from God’s perspective they represent the wholeness and wellness of all mankind. Which this present world system wants to control and it is using these tragic events like pestilences to attain their goal. Psalm 104:15 “And wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart.” According to Luke’s Gospel after the wars and during the third seal we will experience: “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and PESTILENCES; and there will be FEARFUL SIGHTS and great signs from heaven.” The Covid 19 virus is a pestilence. The next event that will follow the pestilence will be great and fearful sights in the sky. Luke 21:25-26 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” The powers that be in the world today, know the faithfulness of the Scriptures and use them to prepare themselves against what God’s plan is for the nations. That is what this third seal is all about; the world is getting ready for the one world government united against Almighty God. Psalm 2:1-3 “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.’ ” Malachi 2:17 “You have wearied the Lord with your words; yet you say, ‘In what way have we wearied Him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,’ Or, ‘Where is the God of justice?’ ” We are living in the days of the end of the age of God’s Grace, the judgments of God are about to begin and the wicked leaders of the earth are preparing for them. What the wicked leaders of this corrupt world have in mind for the populace is Deception, Division, Corruption, and Total Control over every aspect of our daily lives. From their demonic perspective we are all expendable; the devil’s goal for all humanity is the total annihilation of the human race. For those of us who have been Justified by faith in the blood of Jesus and believe that the rapture of the church is a rescue mission for all who are alive and remain after the saints of old are raised from the dead, we will not be disappointed. For in the twinkling of an eye we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and thus will forever be with the Lord. Do not be left behind! Malachi 4:1-2 “For behold the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.” In order to have a one world government it is imperative to have a one world economy; and a world-wide economic system requires a world-wide monetary system. The key word here is CENTRALITY in order to be governed by one person, and for that you need a world-wide-net system of communications. And to make so many different nations and systems to willingly abandon their sovereignty you need a world-wide-crises. The antichrist spirit masks itself with the mantra of saving the planet, by saving it they mean to take it over and rule it into extinction. Revelation 13:15-17 “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Everything that has been taking place around the world since this Covid 19 pestilence started is nothing more than a big rehearsal for that which is going to be introduced in the world when the FEARFUL SIGHTS appear in the sky. An entire generation of children, now grownup, has been mentally conditioned for such a time as this. As Christians, it is imperative that we teach this new— and mentally different—last generation the truthfulness and certainty of God’s Word. Jesus said that you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Malachi 4:5-6 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Elijah the prophet comes to the earth after the rapture of the church as one of the Two Witnesses, to turn the hearts of the Jewish children who were left behind, to the Lord. They will seal 144,000 of them for they represent the last generation which is the 144th. God receives them as a first-fruit offering on behalf of all the children left in the world. Revelation 18:1-3 “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.’” The word “illuminated” indicates that something that had been hidden is now revealed; what’s been revealed here is that the demonic infrastructure that gravitated around the worship of self has been exposed. The demons of commercialism and exploitation that pandered to the corrupt vices of the masses have now been exposed and deposed. ​ The system of false religion and secular humanism that entangled humanity is not needed any more; is abolished in one hour and with them go all the demons that influenced all that selfishness and debauchery. ​ Like a communist dictator, the beast will demand the total and complete sacrifice of his followers, their one and only goal from now on is to be prepared to fight against the Lamb; victory at all cost will be their hopeless cry. Revelation 18:4-8 “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, “I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.” Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.’” We need to remember that these die-hards who come out of her now were eyewitnesses to Jesus the Lamb of God coming down on the clouds of heaven and rapturing away the saints, they also lived through the five months of hell on earth and the ministry of the two witnesses. They saw the feet of Jesus split the Mount of Olives and provide a way of escape for the elect, and the raising from the dead of those who chose martyrdom. Why are these die-hards having a change of mind now? The demons that deceived them have been driven out and locked down! For the first time ever or maybe in a long time they now get to see the misery of their condition and repent by refusing to take the mark of the beast. Many of the environmentalists and secular humanists will see for the first time the demons of self-righteousness that were behind all their labors. With these demons out of the way, Satan will demand that they worship and forfeit themselves to him, for it will be known to all, that if they take the mark of the beast they will be with the devil forever. Revelation 18:14 “The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all.” The world’s entire economic system is destroyed in one hour and now they find themselves at the mercy of the beast and will find none. Revelation 18:23-24 “The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth” Selfish ambition and its partnership with demonic entities is the root of all bloodshed and the engine for the persecution of the saints who refused to get in bed with the god of this world. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” ​ Here is the chapter from my book that follows after the judgment of the great harlot. Revelation 19:1-5 “After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, ‘Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.’ Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’ And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, ‘Amen! Alleluia!’ Then a voice came from the throne, saying, ‘Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!’” When Cain’s non-blood sacrifice was rejected by God, Cain got very angry because of jealousy over his brother, because Abel’s blood sacrifice was accepted. In order to understand all the great rejoicing in heaven over the judgment of the great harlot is imperative for us to see the tremendous influence that the demons behind the door of sin have exerted over all mankind through all the ages. Genesis 4:6-7 “So the LORD said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.’” Sin always has an accomplice which opens a door; a person who does wrong (sins), must go through that opened door, if he or she repents and does the right thing: that is, applies the blood sacrifice (asks God for forgiveness) on the lintel and the two door posts (take our sins to the cross of Jesus for those of us today) of that opened door, then that person will disarm the demon behind the door of his power to harm them, and will gain mastery over that demon. But if pride which is rooted in self righteousness prevents them from repenting and doing the right thing, then those demonic entities will demand blood from them. That is why Cain ended up murdering his brother Abel. All shed human blood, beginning with the righteous blood of Abel and ending with the judgment of the great harlot, is crying out to God for vengeance. God’s judgment is two-fold, he judges the humans first according to the laws that applied to them in the dispensations from which they came. If they repented and made atonement for their sins, God forgives them and raises them up from the dead which was part of their judgment. If they did not repent, then they will remain dead until the final judgment which will take place at the end of one thousand years. But the demonic accomplices of humanity have never been judged yet, because once the person they enticed to sin died, they were free to torment someone else, usually a family member and continued to follow their descendants. Luke 16:27-28 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’” Perhaps the most frustrating thing for the saints in heaven is seeing these demonic creatures wreak havoc upon the whole of humanity with such impunity. These demons would say to Jesus: Have You come to torment us before our time. They knew that as long as man does not apply the blood of Jesus to the open door of sin, they had free range. But finally the hour of their judgment has come: this entity called Babylon the great—false religion, which was their vehicle with which they could operate freely in our earthly dwellings, has now become their eternal prison of torment. At this great sight every heavenly dweller rejoices mightily for the Lord’s vengeance is fulfilled. “He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her. Again they said, ‘Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!’” ​ I hope that you are able to read the entire book, and that you are able to gain spiritual inside as to the importance of staying away from participating in spiritual adultery. Top of Page Personal Introduction MAN’S FINAL DESTINY The Revelation Unveiled Free book - More books & Manuals Here Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero It was early morning Sunday, February 12, 1989 in the Southern California city of Garden Grove, somewhere about 4:30 AM that I was dreaming about my little hometown of La Isabela where I was born and grew up, in the northern coast of central Cuba. It was one of those dreams that just seemed to keep on going all night long. It was a very dark night in the dream and my wife was walking with me, I was trying to get to “my father’s house,” that’s how I was referring to it in the dream even though in reality I always called that house “my home.” Since I was born in that house in 1947 and it was from the front porch of that same house that was built on stilts over the water, that I got in a small boat eighteen years later and came over to America where I was granted political asylum in 1965. In the dream there was a great deal of gunfire that had erupted throughout the entire small town, which made it very difficult to navigate the narrow streets to “my father’s house” where we would be safe. In the dream I was feeling so guilty that I had gotten my wife in such a mess, since in real life she refuses to travel to Cuba where she feels that it is not safe to go. Continuing with the dream, I knocked on the door of a house less than a block from where I was trying to go, and we were given shelter within that house. However, I was so restless that I kept pacing back and forth and could not find rest, trying to figure out how I was going to get us to “my father’s house.” Finally I got so exhausted that I found a chair in the kitchen where my wife had been sitting around a table and gratefully enjoying the company of our gracious hosts. As I sat down, my mind was still racing; I refused to engage in trivial conversation, keeping my focus on the dangers that surrounded us and on the goal of getting safely to my appointed destination. ​ Realizing this, those who sat around the table asked me to teach them about all that was taking place and what it meant. Breathing a sight of release I said to myself: “Finally someone is taking seriously all these events that encompass us and are now desirous to know what they mean.” In the dream I immediately began to tell them that these were the signs of the end times; I had barely spoken these words when all of the sudden the walls around me disappeared, the darkened skies rolled away in an instant and I was not dreaming anymore! It is so hard to accurately describe what takes place during a spiritual vision because what one experiences is usually lost in the narrative, since the feelings cannot be adequately explained. In an instant I found myself in a realm more real than anything I’ve ever encountered in my life. How could I explain the shock I experienced when faced with the empirical evidence of the existence of another dimension? I was in it! There is no human way to describe how the spiritual mind is able to process so much more information when heighten into the euphoric state of the dimension of the heavenly lights. Instantaneously I was able to think, reason, question, test, and apply myself to understand what was happening within me in many different levels simultaneously, while at the same time observing and participating in the external events that were unfolding around me. John 21:25 “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” This Scripture is not an exaggeration! The events that take place in one second of time in the spiritual realm in which Jesus operates, would take millions and millions of words to properly detail, catalogue and explain. Within seconds my eyes saw Him! As the skies receded and I was looking up into the bright white sky, Jesus came out into full view out of the east. He was walking in the air towards me at a very rapid pace but yet at the same time, it was like if He was moving at the speed of light. I know that what I am saying does not make sense, but like I said; extra dimensional experiences elude natural explanation. It was like if someone was rapidly walking on top of a flat train cart going forward while the train is moving at an incredible rate of speed. I was able to perceive both movements at the same time that they were occurring even though He was headed towards me on nothing but bright sky. I feel so inadequate trying to explain the multitudes of feelings that I experienced the very instant that I first saw Him. Next month it will be nineteen years since I had the vision and this is the very first time that I am truly making an effort to write about it in detail. And the only reason that I am doing it, is to try and put into context the why I am writing this expository work on the book of Revelation. My desire is to prepare you for what I believe to be the time for the soon coming of our King and Savior, even our Lord Jesus Christ! A variety of things happened within me when I first saw Him; there was no order as to how they happened, I was able to experience them simultaneously. I remembered seeing His eyes intensely focused on me, the expression on His face was: I AM coming to get you! I was trembling to my very core, there is a Scripture in Isaiah 6:5 that really nails this experience: “So I said: ‘Woe is me, for I am undone!’” I swear I could feel every cell in my body trembling so hard that they became unglued from one another, while at the same time marveling at the fact that I, for the first time in my life was fully aware of how many of them it took to form my physical body. While I was experiencing both, the joy and the fear of His glorious countenance from a still great distance away with a kind of natural telescopic vision, a very intellectual discussion was taking place in my mind as to whether I should try to remember what Jesus looked like and be tempted to make an mental image of Him when I came back, or erase His likeness from my cognitive mind so that I would not have to deal with that aspect of the vision when I came back. So here I was fully aware that what I was experiencing was not the actual rapture but a rehearsal of it, with the ability to retain or release certain parts of the experience. From the time that I first saw Him and had the manifold experiences of which I just shared a couple with you, to the time that He reached the place where I was standing there could not have been more than a couple of seconds. It happened so fast that even though my mind was processing information at a great rate of speed, He was much faster than even my ability to turbo-think. It was like a violent collision, He came from a great distance away with great velocity; without slowing down He crashed into my chest. That was how it felt at first, but then I realized that it was His right hand that had reached and grabbed my chest as He flew by. The closer that He got to me the more that I trembled, that’s when I realized that His holiness was too glorious for my carnality and the cells that form my body were rapidly dying their own individual deaths. I found myself going from zero to the speed of light in less than a microsecond. The speed into which I was suddenly thrust into caused my tongue to flatten like a pancake within my mouth, causing me to feel the empty cavities of missing teeth feeling up. In an instant everything that died became alive, I could feel new teeth growing inside of my mouth, and every cell in my body became reanimated into a perfect man. His touch together with His glorious light brought forth an indescribable new life. While I have been describing the physical aspect of my experience in the catching away, there were other things taking place as well in my spiritual side. The closer that Jesus came to me, the more aware that I became of my spirit man within me. I was able to experience the “real me” for the first time in his full entity. The more of the physical “me” that died, the stronger the spiritual “I” was able to emerge, such dichotomy cannot be properly explained, it has to be experienced. But this one thing I know for certain, in the midst of the torrential flood of emotions that I was experiencing, a vigorous new man rose up from within me, and with a strong masculine voice and with uninhibited zeal, he cried out incessantly with strong conviction: “HALLELUJAH! HE KEPT HIS PROMISE!” Over and over again he repeated this shout with greater exuberance each time he shouted it. The duration of the entire vision, not counting the dreaming part, could not have lasted over a minutes’ time. But in those precious few seconds I experienced more love and more fear, more death and more life, than I could ever experience if I could live hundreds and hundreds of years. I now have a totally different concept of reality, and an ability to understand visions from a very different perspective as you will see as your read my rendering of the visions detailed for us in the book of Revelation by the apostle John. My wife was abruptly awakened when she felt my body shaking uncontrollably as I was lying on the bed. She reached over and grabbed me on the chest to wake me up; my chest and belly areas were so sensitive from experiencing Jesus’ touch, that when she grabbed me I screamed so loud that it brought me out of the vision. After experiencing that other dimension, coming back to this one was so disappointing, but my experience was so vivid that I could not stop talking about it to my sleepy wife at 4:45 in the morning. I got up and went into my living room to pray, but I could not stand still not even for a second. I phoned my mom and woke her up crying that Jesus was coming soon and that she needed to get ready, it was before five am. I was so charged from the experience that I repented before God of all the people that I had neglected to witness to. I swore that I would tell everyone I knew about Jesus plus everybody else; I was so on fire with the zeal of God that the only thing that mattered to me at the time was winning souls for Jesus Christ. Whether good or bad that euphoria waned as the day passed. If I didn’t come down I know they would have locked me up. As I taught adult Sunday school that morning, people were staring at me in a weird sort of way, no doubt wondering what kind of happy influence I was under. By the time evening came I got in bed early so that I could feel closer to the experience, as I lay there, my belly and chest areas got so sensitive again that I could not bring myself to close my eyes, fearful that he would touch me again, and just as fearful that He would not. A few months later, having given myself enough time to digest the experience and with the knowledge that I could now make a rational decision as to the purpose for which God revealed the vision to me, I came to the conclusion that Jesus wanted me to learn about end time prophecy and about the sign of His soon coming. My wife and I entered into a new covenant with the Lord that year; we gave to Him our future, our business, our home, as well as all our personal desires. Needless to say our emphasis changed from normal church attendance and our normal church involvement which we were part of since we got saved in 1976, to a radical pursuit of preparation, training and the all needed times of deliverance that we had to go through, in order to fully let go of those things that hinder the flow of revelation from the Holy Spirit. Eight very difficult years went by; I learned that when God reveals radical things, the enemy steps up with equally radical tricks and attacks. But I also learned that those are the things that God allows in order to refine us and to bring us to total trust in Him and Him alone. During those eight years we had months and months out of every year with no work and no income, every morning I got up I had a choice to make, I could worry about our desperate situation or see it as one more day of home bible schooling, I stayed true to the revelation and chose to study the bible and the signs of His soon coming. After many long hours, months and years of studying and seeking the revelation that only the Lord is able to bring, the framework that would allow me to understand the book of Revelation became clear. Everything made perfect sense all of the sudden, all the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place. I remember thanking Jesus for His great patience, and I wondered inwardly as to how many times Jesus though how hardheaded I was. I had piles and piles of notes, charts and genealogies all over the pool table that had become my working station, as I wrote the date in a notebook where I made entries of important discoveries, I realized that the day when I finally received the understanding of the framework of the book of Revelation, was much to my surprise February 12, 1997, exactly eight years from the time I had experienced the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ in a vision.
