Top of Page BLAST FROM THE PAST SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero 1 Corinthians 12:10 “…To another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits…” Spiritual discernment is one of nine “gifts” made available to believers by the Holy Spirit for the profit of all believers. In spiritual warfare our foes are spirits, our ability to discern who these spirits are and how they operate is crucial if we are to get the upper hand in bringing deliverance to the believers who are oppressed by them. Matthew 12:43-45 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” In the above verses Jesus gives us tremendous insight into the why and the how of unclean spirits and how they operate. Also how they gain access into the individual. A wicked generation opens the door for widespread demonic infestation. The root of wickedness is idolatry, and idolatry produces iniquities. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity.” Exodus 20:4-5 “You shall not make for yourself a carved (idolatry) image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.” And the root of idolatry is hatred towards God. According to Jesus there are seven different kinds of more wicked spirits who are able to interact with the less wicked spirit that claims the body that he was exorcised from as his own house. It will be interesting to know who this wicked spirit is who is able to summon help from more wicked spirits than himself in order to take back the house (body) from which he was kicked out. Proverbs 26:24-26 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; when he speaks kindly, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.” Idolatry in its root form is wickedness that brings forth iniquity (inherited sin) which is deeply rooted in hate, hatred of God and of everything that belongs to God. So that the primary but lesser unclean spirit that summons the seven more wicked spirits than himself after he is cast out, is the spirit of hate. He who hates harbors (summons) seven abominations in his heart (spirits) which revealed themselves as wickedness. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit (singular) of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (these eight are all manifestations of God’s love). Against such there is no law.” Our born-again spirit is conceived in love (God so loved the world). That love manifests itself in the born-again person in eight different representations of God’s love, for a total of nine. The un-regenerated spirit still belongs to God though separated from Him, so hate which is the opposite of love manifests itself in seven different ways or levels of wickedness, for a total of eight unclean spirits. Satan, the head of the demons sums up to number nine. Every demonic infrastructure is a perverted copy of the heavenly pattern. God is love and manifests His love in eight fruit, singular as in one unit. Satan cannot possess the spirit-man for it belongs to God, so his hate can only manifest itself in seven different levels of itself (hate being number eight) within an individual. These seven manifestations of hate are called abominations in the Word of God. Our ability to discern these abominably unclean spirits and their deeply rooted hatefulness is crucial in our ability to help people beset by them to be set free. This is what spiritual discernment is all about. Seven abominations which are born out of hatred towards God. 1) Proverbs 16:5 “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” Number one is the spirit of Pride. If hate is the root, clearly pride is the trunk of the tree. Pride is born out of a hateful heart. The spirit of hate masquerades itself so as not to be uncovered: Proverbs 26:24 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself.” One sure way to know if hate is present in the heart of the person we are helping is through the discernment of the spirit of pride. If pride is present, hate is hiding behind it, they go together like a hand in glove, and it is this lethal combination of joining forces which enables these other six unclean spirits access. 2) Proverbs 15:8 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.” Number two is the spirit of Self-righteousness. The proud in heart will pray (sacrifice) to God in self-righteousness instead of meekness, not even aware sometimes of his own conceit. Luke 18:11-13 “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men — extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess’.” What is it that drives people to do what they do? If pride is behind it, nothing good will come out of it. 3) Proverbs 15:26 “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD, but the words of the pure are pleasant.” Number three is the spirit of Gossip and Slander. Jesus told us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We have a saying that says, the down puts down, the mind set of this spirit is to tear down with words, gossip and slander are its characteristics. 4) Proverbs 11:20 “Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, but the blameless in their ways are His delight.” Number four is the spirit of Malice. A perverse heart manifests itself through malice. It will actively seek and desire for evil things to befall others. 5) Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.” Number five is the spirit of Bitter Envy and Self-seeking. James 3:14 “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.” 6) Proverbs 11:1 “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” Number six is the spirit of Betrayal and dishonesty. Dishonesty, betrayal and untrustworthiness is the conduct that will expose this spirit. 7) Proverbs 3:32 “For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.” Number seven is the spirit of Perversion. The person that is driven by the selfish desires of their heart (lust of the flesh), will desire to obtain the things which they see (lust of the eyes) as profitable for increasing their own status in the eyes of others (pride of life). Such a person becomes perverted, meaning a counterfeit copy of their real selves, which was originally created in the image of God. The proud heart will sacrifice whatever it takes to realize the thoughts and desires of their perverse heart, they will lie and cheat to achieve their goals. In the process they lose their original personality, which was created in them by God, and become a perversion of what they were created to be. Who would have thought that hate could produce so much evil. The sad thing is that it usually begins with hating oneself. Pride is what we use to compensate for the feelings of worthlessness, and the rest just follows. Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God put a price on the soul of man, a price so valuable that could only be measure by the intensity of the sufferings and passion of His only begotten Son for us. The precious and priceless blood that Jesus shed for us has once and for all separated the words “worthless” and “soul”. They are so far apart that they are not even in the same universe. Love and self-acceptance in the unconditional love God has for us, which He demonstrated on the cross, is the key that unlocks and opens the perverse heart and releases that hateful bird called pride. Humbly and grateful the restored heart rejoices in its new found love and acceptance, and the peace of God which passes all understanding rules and guides, faithfully comforting the emerging new person which is now being built in the image of Christ. Romans 8:37-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” True deliverance comes as we replace the spirit of hate with God’s love which is Spirit, and that’s the truth. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. In the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus, I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the Name of Jesus I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family’s life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13 I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered on my behalf. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” Top of Page SPIRITUALITY VERSUS CARNALITY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” A spiritual Christian is a mature Christian, and a carnal Christian is one who does not have a clue as to what spirituality is really all about. It is odd that in some church settings, spiritual Christians are frowned upon as being way out there, out of the main stream, they are almost ashamed to acknowledge them, while their carnal counterparts or more worldly minded Christians are held with high regard for being more in touch with the reality of life, in their more balanced relationship with the world system. Let’s face it, spiritual truths are always at odds with the physical realities. I see programs on TV all the time trying to explain biblical events, not just secular programs, some Christian shows as well, that try to make carnal sense of events that can only be interpreted through the eyes of faith in the word of God. Paul’s complaint to the Corinthians is that he cannot address them with the meat of spiritual truth because they are like infants holding on to their baby bottles. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like to know the mechanics of how things work more than anybody else, but I am humbled enough to know that while I am in this body of flesh, I am limited in my ability to fully understand spiritual mysteries. If I do not fully understand something, I am comfortable enough in my belief that it happened the way that God said it happened, and my faith does not require any further explanation. 1 Corinthians 3:2-3 “I fed you with milk and not solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal…” Paul, while under his apostolic ministry and anointing, was privy to the revelation of the mysteries that had been hidden from the sages of old and was extremely eager to share those revelations that he had received with all his converts. But imagine his frustration with the inability of many of his converts to receive the revelation of those spiritual mysteries that he treasured. 2 Peter 3:15-16 “And consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable (carnal) people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” Peter himself acknowledges the gift that God had invested in the apostle Paul, and recognizes the fact that it takes spiritual maturity to receive the understanding of many of the mysteries that Paul was revealing in his teachings to the churches. How does a carnal babe in Christ become a spiritually mature servant? 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” The majority of Paul’s converts got saved by the demonstration of God’s Spirit and power moving in their midst as Paul preached to them, so that it was the supernatural manifestation of God’s power among them that confirmed the truth of what Paul was preaching to them, not human logic. Now Paul is teaching them that in order for them to become spiritual they have to follow the same pattern, spirituality does not come through persuasive words of human wisdom, but rather through the manifestation of God’s Spirit and power, that in many instances defy human logic. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in an mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.” The wisdom that makes us spiritual is like an encoded mystery that was deposited into our newly recreated born-again spirit-man when we got saved, which only the Holy Spirit can reveal or decode in those who through the agency of faith and trust in the word of God, will be able to receive and understand. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the sprit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except (unless) the Spirit of God (reveals them to us).” The spiritual mystery or quality that enables a believer to become spiritual or mature, has already been deposited into our recreated spirit-man, but the revelation or unlocking of those mysteries are left to the Spirit of God who searches the human spirit that dwells within our heart, to see if spiritual fruit it's been produced by our spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you (works of the flesh), are you not carnal and behaving like mere (natural instead of spiritual) men?” I am responsible before God for the kind of fruit that my spirit produces: Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, meekness, faithfulness and self-control are all spiritual fruit, the more of that kind of fruit that my spirit produces, the greater the revelation of God’s wisdom that I will receive as it is unveiled through my heart by the Spirit of God. Envy, strife, divisions, selfish ambitions, and the like, are all spiritual manifestations of the works of the flesh, the carnality that will hinder my heart from receiving the revelation that will allow me to become a mature, and victorious spiritual Christian. So that I have a choice to make each and every day between peace and distress, love and hate, forgiveness and resentment. Am I going to be at peace in the face of distress? Am I going to love those who hate me? Am I going to forgive those whom I resent? If I follow my natural inclinations that compel me to demand an eye for an eye, then the spiritual revelation that makes me wise in Christ is withheld from me, for my actions prevent the Holy Spirit from revealing them to me as He desires. But if I summit myself to the words that our Lord taught us, His spiritual words that are my life, even when it absolutely makes no sense to me to do what He says, then the Holy Spirit is not hindered, and though I may not be ready to receive the understanding as to why I need to do what the Scriptures require, nevertheless, His healing balm will be applied to my soul and I will walk in His peace no matter what! John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” There is a disconnect for many Christians between doing the right thing and doing the spiritual thing. Understanding the difference between doing that which is right and doing that which is spiritual can be an important factor that will help to lead us into maturity. That is because our natural understanding of what the right thing to do is, has been tainted by our worldly perception. We sometimes confuse human goodness with God inspired spirituality. So that when we think we are doing the right thing that should make us more spiritual, instead we are being carnal and do not even know it. Therein lies a trap that has diverted many well intended Christians from what had been a promising road to maturity, into the folly that Paul calls the wisdom of this age, by comparing or trying to understand spiritual things through the prism of human wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:13-14 “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural (carnal) man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” The more spiritual that a believer becomes, the more at odds that he will be with the wisdom of this world, and the difference between what the spiritual thing to do is, verses that which is the right thing to do, will become more obvious to the believer that matures spiritually. A spiritually mature man will never be bound by the spirit of religion. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” When Rahab the prostitute was faced with the choice of doing the right thing and not lie to the soldiers that asked about the whereabouts of the spies that visited her, she chose to do the spiritual thing instead, and protected those who belonged to God by misleading the soldiers away from them. By her actions she did not only save their lives, but she also saved her own life and the lives of her family and became part of Jesus ancestry. To become a spiritually mature Christian is the same as that of being a slave that has been made free. 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.” After all it is for freedom's sake that Christ has made us free! Top of Page PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE END IS NEAR 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: Prepare a room in your hearts for the Lord, for His return is imminent. As many of you who follow my teachings about the end times know, every year I make an honest assessment of what is going on around the world as to how it fits within the prophetic scenario. I call it an honest assessment because I try very hard not to let my inner desires for the Lord’s return to interfere with the reality of what is transpiring. One of the tools that I use to gauge the prophetic condition of the world is how it prepares itself for what’s coming. I believe that those who are in the know have no doubt that an end is coming. These self-proclaimed guardians of the world, who are very rich and powerful have an invested interest in knowing that which lies ahead, for that is how they have become powerful and wealthy, and it is through foreknowledge of future events that they remain powerful and wealthy. Luke 16:8 “...For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.” They have a lot more to lose. Think of it, we just believe in the Lord and put our trust in His Word and boom, we are gone as soon as He returns, but they get left behind, because they love the world and belong to it. That is the reason why they prepare themselves, they are not planning to leave this world, but rather to rule it. I also believe that they see it as an opportunity if suddenly many of us are removed instantly from this earth in what would be a worldwide population shifting event, for that would create an opening for them to redesign the world government in a way that offers them the abilities of having greater control over the populate and their resources. Although this way of thinking has been around for centuries, we are now living during the technological age that allows them for the first time a real shot at a one world governmental system that could in theory be easily manageable. Revelation 17:12-13 “The ten horns (powers) which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.” John saw how these agents of deceit await for the beast to be revealed to the world so that they can come out of the closet, if you will, and rearrange the world’s governmental structures into ten regions, that are governed by ten leaders, who give all their allegiance to the beast for the purpose of fighting against the Lamb who came and took away His children with Him, to prevent Him from coming back to the earth. A massive data collection complex is being built in Utah, USA, for the purpose of analyzing all of the information that we now know the governments of the world have been gathering for many years now, from people like you and me. Information is power, if you can predict human behavior and how people would react to authoritative change, then you can manipulate their behavior, like cattle driven to the slaughter house. What makes this year so different is that the powers that be are not even trying to hide their agenda from us anymore, that is how close to the end they believe we are, that they can flaunt their manipulative corrupt ways and get away with it without impunity, knowing that the end is near. How do we prepare ourselves against such a power grab? We are not of this world! Let them choke on it. But as Peter said in our opening Scripture: Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you. We need to prepare our hearts and fill them with God’s promises to us so that we faint not in these last hours before our redemption takes place. If we are not of this world, then where do we belong? Hebrews 11:16 “But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.” We cannot change the destiny of the nations, nor can we stop the coming judgment of God upon an unbelieving world, but we can take encouragement in the fact that we belong to a heavenly country which they can never pervert, for righteousness and justice is the foundation of God’s throne, so we may lose our country here to godless unbelievers, but only to gain a heavenly city that God has prepared for those of us who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” The hardest thing for me to understand is the reality that there are people who know that all these things are coming and instead of preparing themselves to become part of the kingdom of light once our Lord is revealed, they think somehow in the futility of their minds, that they can overthrow God and His kingdom and usurp the earth that the Lord created for the delight of His children who love Him. Our next Scripture sheds light into how this is possible. Romans 9:22-24 “What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” Truth is the antidote for the deception that is being perpetrated right now upon the unbelieving world, we need to know, (make room) deep within our hearts that the end of this age is about to close, and with this in mind we need to prepare ourselves by changing our way of thinking from that of this present age, and begin to put our focus upon the age to come, we do this by disassociating ourselves from the entrapments that this world has to offer, through its lusts and passions, and its for’s and against’. Do not misunderstand me, we need to occupy and to do so fervently, and so we continue to expose their corruption, but we only occupy until He comes, and then we need to be ready to let go in an instant. And with this in mind we also need to make as many converts as possible, those who laughed at our past warnings, who are now witnessing the progression of lawlessness as it becomes exposed, need to know that there is a way out, for salvation is of the Lord. Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.” If our mindset is corralled by our inabilities to change our present condition, then we become hopeless, for nothing that is going on in our present social evolving, is good for us the children of faith. Top of Page Top of Page The Battle (Skirmish) & The War Written by Lisa Kane 6/26/21 I’m sure you understand what the difference between a battle and the war is but just in case, the battle are small skirmishes in the war and the war is the overall event. For example, the battle of Gettysburg was a battle within the Civil War. Some battles affect the outcome of the war and others have little impact but are important, nonetheless. The same is true for a believer. We deal with battles or skirmishes in our everyday lives but we are in an overall war. I asked myself, why are we in a war and what is this war we’re in? Sneak peak, if you’re on God’s side, you win the war. Revelation 20:10 NKJV 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Notice, I said if you’re on God’s side. So far, now we know, we need to choose a side…again, why? Do you know why you’re in this war? It’s likely you don’t and this message will help you understand the larger picture and I hope it changes your paradigm, thinking of what being a Christian means. And it begins in Genesis. Before we continue, I need to clarify ‘confusion’ related to Genesis chapters 1 and 2. There are not two Adam’s and there are not two Eve’s, etc. Chapter 1 is a supply list of what God creates and chapter 2 clarifies what He put into action. Think of it like this…if you plan to build a house, or fix a car, or create a quilt, you need all your supplies before you begin but it doesn’t become a house, or a fixed car, or a quilt until it’s put together or ‘completed’ or ‘finished’. Genesis 2:1 NKJV 2 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. See, He completed ‘creation’ at the end of verse one in chapter 2. That means now that it’s finished, it’s the universe. But notice what the author says in verse 5 chapter 2: Genesis 2:5 NKJV 5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; Notice, He created (formed) male and female in chapter 1 but didn’t put him into creation until Genesis 2:7-8. Genesis 1:27 NJKV 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 2:7-8 NKJV 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. So, one Adam and one Eve. No confusion. Now let’s take a look at ‘why’ we’re in a war. Genesis 2:19-20 continues to show ‘how’ God creates animals and birds. Again, they were formed in chapter 1 and brought to Adam in chapter 2 for naming. Genesis 2:19-20 NKJV 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to [a]Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. There are several mysteries within these two verses that will change your paradigm as a Christian. First, God wants to spend time with Adam. Adam was created in His image. Adam is the only creature that can procreate and produce more in His image. Angels cannot mate with other Angels nor procreate more Angels, and yes, there are female Angels. Zechariah 5:9 NKJV 9 Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. However, we do know that Angels mated with women on the Earth and produced Giants. Genesis 6:4 NKJV 4 There were [a]giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. It took the human female host to actually produce a being and even then, those beings, the giants were cursed and were not given a soul/spirit. There are some teachings that even think these giants became the demons we deal with today. You can research that on your own. God created us in His image and we’re able to produce more of us in His image. God wanted to spend time with Adam to get to know Him because Adam was unique and had his own personality. Just like you and I have our own personalities. Let me give you an example (scenario) of how this time was spent with Adam. God brought a male and female type of big gray fat things to Adam to name. God asks him, what do you want to call these? Adam says, I’m going to call them elephants because they have trunks. God smiles. Then Adam says, I have a question though. God says, oh, ask. Adam says, in all the previous big creatures, you gave them long strong thick tales to help support them (dinosaurs) and here, you gave the elephants long skinny tales. Why? That gives you an idea of the relationship building up between God and Adam. There’s another mystery you want to know while you’re here. (Rabbit trail…) Romans 6:23 NKJV 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the [a]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. No sin, no aging. We don’t know Adam’s age here but he remains fully mature during this time because he had not sinned yet. Here’s another mystery and this one tells you ‘why’ we’re in this war. Ezekiel 28:13 NKJV 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. Look who was in the Garden of Eden, Lucifer. He was the most beautiful creature ever created and I’m sure you’re saying to yourself at this moment, ‘this isn’t a mystery’. We know he was there because he deceived Eve.Theologians will tell you Ezekial 28:13 confirms that the ‘serpent’ was Lucifer but I take it one step further and say that Lucifer was watching God and Adam during this time where it was just the two of them. In fact, he was watching and seething. He was angry. He couldn’t believe that God would give ‘all’ His attention to this worthless, frail creature called a human being – named Adam. He was thinking that God should be giving him His attention and only to him. He wanted God to worship him and it made him angry that He wasn’t. In fact, Lucifer came to the conclusion that he will show God how stupid and frail these human beings can be, which reveals another mystery. Notice Lucifer went after Eve and not Adam. Genesis 3:1 NKJV 3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’? He didn’t touch Adam because Adam spent quality time with God. Hmmm…maybe if you spent quality time with God, Satan wouldn’t touch you?!?! So, Lucifer wanted God to worship him. Instead, God spent time with Adam and built up a relationship because Adam was His son made in His image. When you have your first child, it is absolutely amazing to hold that beautiful baby in your arms. And as they grow, you get to see what type of personality comes out and what type of person that baby becomes. It’s awesome. That’s what God wanted to see with us. He was thrilled and made a place for us to live (Earth) so he could see that, but Lucifer hated God so much that he went after God’s most precious loved commodity – man. That’s why we’re in war. It’s because Satan hates God so much that he believes if he can get you, he will hurt God. John 3:16 NKJV 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Doesn’t John 3:16 mean more to you now that you know why you’re in this war? It’s similar to America getting drawn into WW2 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. You were drawn into this war. Notice the issue here – Satan wants to hurt God by making you fail. Do you want to let Satan succeed? Do you really want to hurt God’s feelings? Every battle you face each day can be either a victory or defeat. That’s up to you. God already sent His Son Jesus to ‘redeem’ you with the blood. You have a choice. Romans 8:37 NKJV 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Revelation 3:21 NKJV 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 12:11 NJKV 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. How do you be more than a conqueror and/or how do you overcome daily battles/skirmishes? By the word of your testimony. Every battle you win in this war, tells others they can win too. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Here’s the best part. When you make God a priority in your life, (YOUR CHOICE) you become a new creature. That means those old things won’t affect you anymore. You overcame them. That means you have a testimony to share. SHARE IT! Psalm 91:1-3 NKJV He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the [a]fowler from the perilous pestilence. You see, when you put God first, you enter His presence. You seek Him out. You put Him first. That’s saying to Satan, YOU CHOOSE to WORSHIP GOD and not him. HALLELUJAH! Top of Page Top of Page PRAY FOR OUR SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATION COMMUNITIES Written by Minister Lisa Kane 12.31.23 SAY THIS PRAYER OUT LOUD: Mighty Heavenly Father, I lift up the scientific and education communities around the world to Your throne room and I forgive them of their iniquities, the sins they have committed, the curses against them, the curses spoken from them, and the sins of the land they walk on; and I ask You heavenly Father to forgive as them well per Matthew 6:14 KJV “14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:” Demons, loose the scientific and education communities around the world; the Lord rebuke you per Jude 1:9 “9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” I bind you with fetters of iron to the iron below my feet here on earth preventing you from interfering in the scientific and education communities around the world, ever again per Matthew 16:19 KJV “19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” And per Psalm 149:6-9 KJV “6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.” Father God, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world, with open ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to see, hear, receive, and believe the living Word of God because you state in Mark 4:12 KJV “12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” I pray in hope that they see and perceive, hear and understand so they would believe in Jesus the Son of the living God! And Heavenly Father, I bless the scientific and education communities around the world with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the scientific and education communities around the world with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the people in the scientific and education communities to forgive and reconcile the nation back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the scientific and education communities around the world are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I also pray that past generations deceived by lies would be restored to the truth going forward. I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” manifests within the hearts of the scientific and education communities around the world. I pray that those who work in science and education will share truth and fact from the Bible. That previous generations who were taught lies will be restored with truth in the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen!
