  • ARE WE THERE YET | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Jude 24-25 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, Top of Page END TIMES TEACHING ARE WE THERE YET? Jude 24-25 “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.” I have, for many years, tried to imagine what it would be like to know that the return of our Lord was imminent, and I often asked myself these questions, How would I react? What would I do, if anything? Where would my emphasis be? I have gone in my mind from the scenario of getting all my family together in one place while we anxiously await for Jesus to appear in the clouds to take us with Him, to the thought of what type of fate would be left for my dog and my bird, if it were to happen that they get left behind after we are raptured? The one question that always seems to reign supreme is this one: What will my response be as my mortality is overwhelmed by His holiness? I believe that the main reason why God gave me a vision of the rapture the early morning of February 12, 1989, was so that I could have a very personal understanding of this basic question. Jesus is able To present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Imagine the myriad of feelings that we all would be experiencing if we knew with certainty that we were about to meet Jesus face to face. In my vision, the holiness of Jesus made every cell in my body become unglued, my body was trembling so violently as He was approaching me that it became undone, my mind was trying to decide what to do in the face of such overwhelming feelings of joy and fear, but my spirit just began to shout, Hallelujah He kept His promised, the closer that Jesus came the louder that my spirit got, as I kept repeating, Hallelujah He kept His promised, over and over again, till I was raptured. You can read about the entire vision in the opening pages of my book Man’s Final Destiny, in the books section of houseoffaithministries.org In our opening Scripture we get to see the other side of the equation, and it is amazing to see that Jesus is just as excited as we are if not more, for we are told that He is coming after us with Exceeding joy; do you remember how Scripture tells us that for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross? Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” So that in reality, Jesus is a lot more excited to meet with as than we are to meet with Him, for in our frailties we fear His holiness, yet He is so eager to reveal His grace to us and to present us faultless before His glorious Father who gave us to Him as His bride for eternity. Once we understand that our humanity, along with its many frailties is not an issue to Him, for He understands us perfectly, then we can put our emphasis on what we really need to do in order to be ready at His appearing, let’s not forget that not all of the virgins were ready. Jude 20 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” In my vision of the rapture it was my spirit who took charge, for the promises of God are spiritual, and my spirit who was made alive by the Word of God, and was baptized, plunged into the Body of Jesus by the Holy Spirit back when I became a born again Christian, immediately recognized that Jesus was just fulfilling His promises, therefore I was able to shout Hallelujah, He is just doing what He promised that He would do, and there is no doubt in my spirit-man that He will keep His promises, for it is the Holy Spirit in us who knows the mind of God. How do we build ourselves up? How do we prepare ourselves for His coming? We believe within our hearts that what He promised in His Word, He is able to fulfill, that is how our faith becomes most holy, that is, separated from the circumstances around us. Then we can pray in the Holy Spirit, and He will reveal what the will of God is for us. We know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and since God has not appointed us to wrath, then we are praying His will for us when we ask Him to take us out before His day of wrath is set to begin. Let us make sure that we know the Word and the promises of God for us in Spirit and in Truth, not only in our minds, but within our hearts as well, live it out, let His promises become real to you, and when the time comes, they will not let you down, for His strength will be made perfect in whatever weaknesses remain in us at the time of His coming. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Read the promises, hear the promises, see the promises, believe in the promises deep within your hearts, do not let doubt anywhere near them. Jude 21 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” God’s promises will keep us in His love and looking for His mercy. Once we become settled in the fact that because we have repented and confessed all our sins before Him, and have accepted His forgiveness for all of our sins that the atoning blood of Jesus purchased for us, we keep ourselves in His love by looking for His mercy to be revealed to others as well, for if He is not willing that any should perish, then neither should any of us be willing to let those around us perish for lack of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for them. It is hard to preach what we are not practicing, but if we truly believe that the return of our Savior is imminent, and we are preparing ourselves for His soon return, then telling others about the blessed hope that we are eagerly awaiting and expecting should be relatively easy for us. Jude 22-23 “And on some have compassion, (doubters) making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Some of the people that we will be targeting for prayer before the Lord returns, family, friends, acquaintances, will have different issues that they will be dealing with, that when the return of Jesus becomes evident might prevent them from calling on the name of the Lord to be saved. To the doubters we speak the Word of Truth, we simply show them God’s promises being fulfilled right before their eyes, that was how Thomas stopped doubting when confronted with the evidence that Jesus was alive and standing right before him. Revelation 6:16 “And said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” When the awesomeness of the Lord is revealed to the nations before His judgments begin, the natural human response will be fear, a fear that will drive the populace to run to the bomb shelters, away from Him instead of running to Him. That is where we come in, if we know which promise of Scripture to direct them to, and if we have been praying for them like we should, then the Holy Spirit has already prepared their hearts to receive our message, for that is how everybody gets saved, people start praying for them and then those who proclaim God’s Word to them reap the harvest. Joel 2:31-32 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved…” We convert the doubters with the truth, Jesus may seem like an alien to them, for they do not truly know Him, but to us Jesus is our confidence and our salvation, our peace and our refuge, a refuge into which we invite them by explaining to them that they must repent and call on the name of the Lord out loud if they want to be saved. The sinners are converted by their fear, they know that the wrath of the Lamb is imminent, real, and weighting heavy upon them, in their trembling we reach out to them with the Gospel, and by doing so it will be like pulling them out of the fire of hell itself. But we must be convinced of what we believe if we want to be effective, this is why first responders train over and over again in realistic situations, so that when faced with a real emergency their training takes over and they do their jobs without been overwhelmed by the situation or circumstances that they are faced with. For us, our spiritual training involves us constantly praying in the Holy Spirit, driven by His mercy towards us and others, and out of our deep desire to be with Him for ever and ever. Genesis 5:24 “And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Jude 14 “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints.’” The return of the Lord will be a very real event, it will take place very soon, maybe sooner than most realize. All the true believers (those who keep His Word and have not denied His name/deity) will be taken up with Him in the rapture, but many who call themselves Christians will be left behind, this is what the Bible says right now to the Christians that will not go up in the rapture if it were to take place today. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” The Laodicea church is told that: Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold (salvation) refine in the fire… Revelation 3:17-18 There is a church that has closed its doors to the Lord, is the Laodicea church, and Jesus is knocking on their door right now, He is telling them that without Him they have nothing, for they are naked, blind, and poor. It may be that these are some of the people that will be converted when Jesus is first revealed before the rapture takes place, maybe that the only way that they will hear Him knock is when the see Him in the clouds. If you have been trusting in man-made religious traditions, they will not suffice when the sky recedes as a scroll and the wrath of the Lamb is ready to be unleashed. Now is the time to open the door of your heart to the trustworthiness of His promises, to embrace His deity and the inerrancy of Scripture, just look around you, we are living in the end of the age, do not be swept away by their demonic deluge of lies. Jude 4 “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Back to End Times Teachings

  • A NEW THING | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents to overcome the fear which naturally flows out of uncertainty, we need to understand that it is the Lord who is the One that is bringing in the change. Top of Page A NEW THING As I posted our prayer focus for the last month of the year at the beginning of the month of December 2013, the Lord prompted me to pray for the ability to be still and to wait on Him, little did I know at the time that He wanted me to be still and wait, and not to write anything for the entire month of December, until the time of waiting was over. As I prepared to write again this last day of the year so that I can publish new things for the month of January 2014, the Scripture that the Lord gave to me, showed me that this new year the Lord will be doing something new and that we are to prepare ourselves for this new thing. I am not sure yet what kind of change this new year is going to bring, but for some reason I feel that this new year will be called a year of wonders. As always the Lord deals with us both in the personal level as well as in the corporal level, and is too early yet to know whether this year of wonders has only a personal application or whether it will be a year of wonders for the church as a whole. So, this lesson will deal with how to be prepared for the new thing that the Lord will be doing this new year of 2014. Isaiah 43:1 “...Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.” A new thing means change and change into something that is new always strikes a cord of fear within us, for we naturally fear that which we do not know. But to overcome the fear which naturally flows out of uncertainty, we need to understand that it is the Lord who is the One that is bringing in the change, and since we belong to Him, for He has redeemed us, that should remove the uncertainty of what this new thing will bring to us, for whatever it is we know that it is part of His plan for our lives. Notice how the Lord makes it very personal, for He tells us that He has called us by our name, it cannot get any more personal than that, and then He adds that we belong to Him. We need to keep this reality fresh in our minds throughout the year no matter what happens, and by doing so we will not give into the temptation to fear, for the spirit of fear always works against our faith. Isaiah 43:21 “This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.” And no matter what happens we will be able to praise Him, for according to His promises, we know that all things always work together for the good of those who love Him and who know that they are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” It is within our nature to wonder what this new thing might be, but we can only speculate as we read between the lines of Scripture. Isaiah 43:18 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.” But whatever it is, we know that it will be radical, for it will eclipse the former order of things, and it will cause us not to even consider the things of old as an alternative way of thinking, so we know that whatever it is it will change life as we know it. Habakkuk 1:5 “Look among the nations and watch—be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.” So what could happen, that it will be so radical, that it would change the long standing traditions of human thinking? What kind of event could change the very foundations and understandings of human knowledge? Isaiah 29:14 “Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” The above Scripture gives as a tremendous insight into what that life altering event might be and information about some of its workings. The first thing that we notice is that the work that the Lord is going to do that is going to change life as we know it, He has already done in the past, for He says that He will again do a marvelous work among this people, and then He adds: A marvelous work and a wonder. So that if we ask this question: What kind of work did the Lord do in the past that radically changed the lives of all the earth’s inhabitants? The flood of Noah’s day stands out all by itself, for it affected every human and radically changed the very nature of earth’s nature itself. Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” So that we have not only a precedent, but we also have an event that we can associate with the new thing that the Lord will be doing, for whatever it is that the Lord will be doing, it will be a sign that precedes His return to the earth. Matthew 24:29-30 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Jesus gives us insight as to what the things that will radically change the human paradigm of the cosmos entails. There are three heavens mentioned in the history of the creation: first there is the heaven above, also known as the third heaven and Paradise, the seat of God’s rule over the universe. Then there is the second heaven, also known as the waters, below and the underworld, where all the fallen angels reside. Then there is the first heaven, also called the firmament, which has at its center planet earth, the habitation of the human race. If we read carefully what Jesus said, the stars will fall from heaven, singular, is because Revelation tells us that the stars represent angels, Revelation 1:20 “...The seven stars are the angels…” In Matthew’s case they represent the fallen angels which are thrown out of the second heaven to the earth. Then Jesus adds that the powers of the heavens, plural, will be shaken, which now includes the visible heaven that encompasses the earth, which is also called the firmament and heaven. And that is where the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, singular, when The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light and it is what causes all of the tribes of the earth to mourn as they see Jesus coming to the earth riding on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. How will the human race respond to the infusion of wicked non-human creatures upon our earthly plane? If that is not a new thing, then I do not know what is. What was that you said? You do not believe that something like that will ever happen here on the earth? Revelation 9:1-6 “Then the fifth angel sounded: and I saw a star (angel) fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit (the under world). And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.” I do believe that the rapture would have already taken place by the time that the bottomless pit is opened, but the sign of the Son of Man is something that we will witness from our earthly perch before the rapture takes place, so that we need to ask ourselves, can our faith stand the revelation of such awesome and fearful wonders? Matthew 24:31 “And He will send His angels (after the sign of the Son of Man appears in heaven) with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Keep looking up! • INTERCESSION | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) asks what are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? Top of Page INTERCESSION Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Intercession is not only needed, but is very much required for the proper function of everyday life as we know it. If it were not, then Jesus would not have to live always making intercession for us. What are the mysteries of intercession and why is it that it is so very much required? In this lesson we are going to try to unravel some of the mysteries related to intercession, in the hope that we can get some insight into this ministry that is so vital to our everyday lives, in the hope that it would encourage us to intercede on a daily basis. Matthew 6:9-10 “In this manner, therefore, pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’” To understand intercession is to understand why the will of God is not being done on the earth as it is in heaven; we need to know that the authority to rule over the earthly realm was given to Adam, to man and his descendants, Satan usurped that authority from man through deception and introduced chaos into the earthly realm. Since that time there has always been a battle between good and evil here on the earth. Jesus came and destroyed Satan’s power to inflict chaos upon the earth and returned earthly authority back into the hands of godly man. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Intercession is asking God to do His good will here on the earth on behalf, and for the good of all mankind. Since the authority has been returned back to us, when we see chaos ruling, it is because someone is failing to ask God to intervene in that situation. We may ask, why doesn’t God remove the chaos and bring to us His peace? Since God gave authority to man to rule over the earthly realm, God will not interfere into the affairs of man uninvited. That is what intercession is pure and simple, recognizing that we fail due to our fallen nature, to bring the goodness of God by ourselves into the earthly realm. We need His help! Luke 18:1 “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” In the parable that followed Jesus spoke about a widow that was not strong enough to take on her adversary by herself. The widow in the parable typifies mankind in our fallen human nature. The judge in the parable did not care about her need for justice, but due to her importunity, a type for consistency in prayer, the judge granted the widow her request. Then Jesus adds: Luke 18:7 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Men are always to pray and not lose heart: This brings us to the first aspect of intercession. Intercession is a Battle: A spiritual battle that requires a battle plan. Once we understand that God will not intervene in human affairs unless we ask Him to, and we know that it is His will, not ours, that He wants to bring into the mix, then we need to know what His will is in regards to the situation that we are asking His intervention for, so that we can pray in accordance with His will for that situation. If we do not, then the chaos will continue, for He aims for His will to be done not ours. Battle on behalf of mankind: God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Our daily intercession should follow, as in regards to our prayers on behalf of mankind, first the family and the family structure. 1 Timothy 5:8 “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” These are pretty strong words that Paul speaks, that is because God is after the family structure; the family that prays together not only stays together but has a powerful influence in all that surrounds them. Is called the power of agreement as in a married couple interceding together on behalf of their entire families that became connected to one another through them entering into holy matrimony. That is why the institution of marriage is under such a heavy attack right now from those who want to redefine it. Their demonic aim is to corrupt the power of this marital institution to intercede together on behalf of both families by introducing dividing controversies into the family unit, thereby their power of intercession is neutralized. So that intercession should be made first on behalf of the household and beginning with the head of the household. Daily intercession should be made on behalf of parents, grand parents, children, grandchildren , great grandchildren , our siblings, their siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and for the families that they are interconnected with as well. God will use your prayer for some distant family member that you do not even know to save them from hell; remember that God is not willing that any of them should perish and be lost forever, but He will not act on their behalf by imposing His own will upon them unless someone prays for their salvation, which is God’s will for them. Many years ago, one of my nephews found himself, after going forward on an altar call, in front of an evangelist that told him that the reason he had answered the call was because his uncle was praying for him. This blew his mind for he knew that I was the only saved uncle that he had, he called us to ask, and we told him, yes we pray daily for our nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and cousins. This was a confirmation to us way back then, that God always hears our prayers. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Secondly, we need to pray for the men and women that are part of the governmental structures that rule society, both secular and religious institutions. So that we need to pray on a daily basis for the churches and the elders of the churches, for the schools, the principles, the teachers, those who prepare the curriculum that the teachers teach, we are not to leave any of that to the will of the enemy. The fruit of the womb is His reward, let our children be invested with the knowledge of the truth, after all they belong to the God of Truth. Let us pray for the lawmakers and those who are in charge of executing the laws that the legislators pass. Let us pray for the judges that rule on what laws are just and which are not. Our prayer on their behalf should be based on what is God’s best for those over whom they rule. If the rules that they pass and enforce go against what is God’s best for the people they have rule over, then our intercession for them will be for God’s conviction of what is right and wrong to be revealed to them. If God opens their eyes to see the evil that their ruling is bringing upon the people, then hopefully they will repent and do the right thing on behalf of those over whom they have the power to rule. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Thirdly we need so seek our own personal time of intimacy with Jesus. True intercession is born out of a heart that has an intimate relationship with the heart of Jesus. When His heart becomes one with our heart, our intercession for those things which touch His heart will be the more powerful; when our desire becomes one with His desire, there is a powerful and unstoppable force that is released as we become one with Him in His will for us. Ephesians 4:3 “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Fourthly there is a place in the heavenly realm where those whose hearts have touched Jesus’ heart meet. This is a real place, more real than any reality that we’ve ever experienced here on earth. You will find people there whose prayer originates from many distant lands, somehow they form a spiritual connection and come together in the bond of peace, while in their efforts to ascend into the hill of the Lord and touch the heart of God. They begin their journey with a simple desire for interceding on behalf of what is in the heart of Jesus at that time. Somehow they all interconnect, they arrived into what is called the unity of the Spirit, when suddenly the Holy Spirit takes them to the base of what is called the hill of the Lord. Once there, they are able to commune one with another in complete trust, being aware of the other intercessors humanity and purpose. You can hear their thoughts and communicate your feelings to them through the same process. To reach the top of the hill of the Lord is the goal, so they press tightly together with one another in order to attain the purpose for which their Lord brought them there. Not all make it to the top at first, for it is a process. And it is that process the reason why I am sharing this aspect of intercession with you right now. Psalm 24:3-4 “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.” This Psalm is a Messianic Psalm, meaning that it applies to Jesus, since Jesus is the only perfect human who could fulfilled the requirements stated in the Psalm. But when the intercessors heart becomes one with Jesus’ heart, a pure heart, that is when the intercessor is brought into the base of the hill of the Lord and ascend into the desires of God’s heart. In order for this pureness of heart to take effect, there has to be a cleanness of hands. Idolatries are the issue here, idolatry is the worship of a substitute god, usually the worship of self, or selfish ambitions, all of which defiles the human heart. We can pray the will of God and be in an idolatrous condition, but we can never pray the heart of God in such an idolatrous state, for idolatry is what keeps us from knowing His heart. Hence the ultimate goal of an intercessor should be to rid themselves of all traces of idolatry within their hearts in order to attained the heart of God. You have to begin with the truth, by being true to yourself, truth is the only thing that can make you free. The word sworn, as in sworn deceitfully, literally means to seven oneself, so that it has to do with a custom or ritual, some practice that takes place on regular intervals, a custom that is based on the perversion of the truth, that in reality is idolatry. Such traditional practices will be the hardest of all things to get rid of in your Christian life, because such practices are deeply embedded into modern day Christian liturgy. Truth leads us into the will of God, which in turn leads us into the truth of the purpose of God, which in turn takes us into the very heart of God. John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” If the goal of intercession is to bring to the earth what is God’s will in heaven, so that God’s purpose for the inhabitants of the earth can be accomplished, and if the best way to accomplish that ministry is to have the very heart of God within our hearts, is it not then necessary that Jesus be lifted up from the earth? You see, if we are proclaiming Jesus’ heart to the world, how can we do so effectively if we ourselves are soiled with the very earthly customs that profane His holy name, since we still have regard for those customs and patronized them? The devil is no match for the name of Jesus, all a believer has to do is to proclaim that precious name of Jesus, and no matter what his circumstances are, Jesus will answer him. But if we are swearing deceitfully by profaning the name that is above every name, by equating His holy name with some ancient pagan festival festering with idolatry, then the devil will not fear those who profane Jesus’ holy name, for by doing so they have placed themselves into the bottom of the heap of rubbish that hell itself is built on. John 12:26 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? The true servants that follow Jesus, for those who follow Jesus are with Jesus where He is, and Jesus is on the top of the hill of the Lord. What a privilege it is to make intercession on behalf of the saints in the very presence of His Majesty on High. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE RESURRECTION | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on the resurrection from the old testaments point of view. Top of Page THE RESURRECTION: From the Old Testament Perspective Job 19: 25-27 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another.” I wonder how many of you have heard, as I have, that the teaching about the resurrection the dead is something that is unique to the New Testament. In countless historical TV programs that deal with the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), we hear all the time that the devil is a creation of the New Testament writers and that the resurrection from the dead is something that is unique to the Christian Bible. I guess they overlooked the book of Job somehow. First Job says that his Redeemer lives, we could say that he is referring to God in heaven, but then Job adds that his Redeemer shall stand at last on the earth. Here Job is implying a resurrection from the dead, on the earth, at the end of times. Then Job goes on to say that after my skin is destroyed, meaning the physical deterioration of his body after his death, he says, this I know, meaning this is not just some conjecture on his part, that in my flesh I shall see God. If his body is destroyed how could he possibly see God in his flesh unless he Job, is physically resurrected from the dead. But wait there is more; whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold, and not another. Job says it will not be in his spirit that he will witness that, but in his flesh, I myself he says and not another. So that in the oldest book of the Old Testament we find the main character testifying to the physical resurrection from the dead at the end of times, and boldly declaring that he, Job himself, will be part of that glorious event. Genesis 22:8, 13 “And Abraham said, ‘My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering’...Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.” Genesis 22 begins with the words, God tested Abraham. What was Abraham being tested for? God tells Abraham to take his son, the son whom you love, to a certain place and there kill him and offer him as a burnt offering to God. When Isaac astutely realized that the only thing missing for the burnt offering was the lamb, he asked his father Abraham, where is the lamb for the sacrifice, to which Abraham responded, God will provide for Himself the lamb, even though he knew that it was his son Isaac that he was going up to sacrifice. Romans 4:20-21 “He (Abraham) did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He (God) had promised He was able to perform.” There is no other conclusion but that what Abraham was being tested for was none other than his faith in the physical resurrection from the dead. Abraham had to cross a threshold in his heart that if he killed the son of promise that God had given to him, that God would have no other choice but to raise Isaac from the dead, in order to fulfill His promise to Abraham that through Isaac all the nations would be blessed. John 8:56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” When did Abraham see Jesus’ day? When he lifted (up) his eyes and looked. By faith Abraham saw the cross and rejoiced, before he saw the ram that was caught in the thicket by its horns. So that not only did Job believed and testified to the resurrection from the dead, but we see also that faith in the physical resurrection from the dead was an essential part of God’s covenant with Abraham. And is all written there for us in the Old Testament. How could they miss it? What were they thinking? Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.” Isaiah gives us an even more amazing insight into the physical resurrection from the dead in the verse above. In the original Hebrew the three words used for “dead” are all different and have different meanings associated with them that gives us insight into what the prophet was trying to convey to us. Your dead shall live: The word translated dead at the beginning of the verse is according to Strong’s concordance # 4191 Muwth and it means To die and it refers to man, or body. So that when it says that your dead shall live is referring to the physically dead human bodies that will be resurrected at some point in the future. My dead body: The next word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 5038 Nbelah and it means Carcass and it can be applied to a human or a bestial carcass, often collectively, meaning that in most instances it applies to both. The meaning of the context is very clear, My dead body is in reference to a sacrificial carcass that is in nature both human and animal, as in the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, amazing! The earth shall cast out the dead: The last word translated dead is according to Strong’s concordance # 7496 Rapha’ and it means the dead or deceased in plural. It comes from the root word # 7495 Raphah and it means to mend, to cure, cause to heal, to make whole thoroughly. Oh what a beautiful picture of the resurrection from the dead we get from the prophet Isaiah. How one verse of Scripture, in the Old Testament mind you, can reveal so much, centuries before the actual resurrection of Jesus from the dead took place. Luke 17:37 “...Where there is a dead body (carcass), there the vultures will gather.” NIV Jesus seems to imply, according to what Isaiah wrote, that those rapture will be gathered together to His sacrificial body that was resurrected from the dead. Daniel 12:2 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contemp.” I close with Daniel’s version of the physical resurrection from the dead in the Old Testament that reveals that is not just the righteous that will be resurrected, but what the New Testament also teaches, that at some point all the unbelievers will also be resurrected and will go physically into everlasting contemp. Which brings us to the message of the resurrection; there is life after death, not just life, but physical life as well. Eventually all who die will be resurrected, can you imagine having immortality and having to spend eternity in reproach and contemp. Is there anything in this whisper of time that we have while here on earth, when compared to eternity, that is worth you having to spend eternity away from God’s comfort and love? I am not asking you to become religious, I’m just asking you to get right with Jesus. Make Jesus your savior, why don’t you make Jesus your Lord today, I can guarantee that you will never regret it, never, ever. • DELIVERANCE IS FOR LIFE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Isaiah 46:3-4 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from... Top of Page DELIVERANCE IS FOR LIFE Isaiah 46:3-4 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Those who go through the deliverance ministry, sometimes think that it is a one-time proposition because of the great results that they received after being delivered from a stronghold that held them back for so long. But in reality, deliverance, like salvation, is a lifelong process that involves every believer, even if they have not gone through ministry under a well-trained deliverance team. Not every believer has a stronghold in their lives so powerful that needs outside help in order for them to break loose from it. In this lesson I want to deal with the ministry of deliverance itself and the different kinds of strongholds that afflict so many of God’s children today. Deliverance and salvation are synonymous in the sense that we all need to be saved, and we all need to be delivered. Salvation saves us from our sins. Deliverance saves us from the consequences of our sins. There is a difference, and awareness of that difference can make all the difference in the world, pardon the pun. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Sin is a double edge sword that cuts both ways, brings separation, and condemnation/consequences. Jesus, the two-edged sword Word of God who became flesh is faithful and just; faithful to forgive us our sins, and just to cleanse us from the consequences of our sins. We can never understand deliverance until we understand the two sides of sin. Let’s say that a person sins against another person, let’s call that sin a violation of trust. Let’s say that the offender repents and asks the offended person to forgive them and let us say that the offended person truly forgives them, it does not necessarily mean that the person that got hurt and forgave the trespasser, will be able to trust them again even if they wanted to, because within our nature we do not like to get hurt. During ministry, many a time I heard the injured party say to me that they cannot let go of the offense. They know that the Scriptures compels them to forgive the offender, yet the pain is so real to them that they cannot bring themselves to forgive because they equate it with having to put their trust on the offender only to get hurt all over again. Forgiving does not mean trusting in their flesh! Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” God does not put any confidence in the flesh and neither should we, but if we want to worship God in Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, we must be obedient to His Word. That is if we want to be delivered from our inabilities to trust again and be free from the fear of getting hurt. We need a basic understanding of how Jesus is faithful to forgive us, and how He is just to cleanse us from our repeated offenses that just won’t let us go, because of the stronghold that they have over our actions. It all begins with us putting our trust in the covenant! Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in which it is impossible for God to lie (And He also swore that He would not change His mind 7:21), we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.” In the covenant that allows Jesus to be faithful to forgive us our sins and just to cleanse us from their consequences, we find that the God who cannot lie swore on an oath that He would not change His mind. Here is what it means: when we forgive, we do so in the expectation that the offender will not hurt us anymore by violating our trust once again. If they continue to hurt us after we have truly forgiven them, we, rightly so, change our minds and break away from fellowship with them, and the offender bears the consequences of their sins against us by being deprived of our communion with them, for that might be the only way that we can keep them from hurting us. So that in our natural way of thinking we see our relationship with Jesus in the same frame of mind, since we keep sinning against His Word because of a stronghold in our lives, we derive that He changes His mind toward us and does not want to be around us anymore. Although our hurting others will keep people away from us, we can never drive Jesus away from us, because He promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us, and He swore an oath that He would not change His mind. So that if we want to see ourselves in the way that Jesus sees us, we need to see those who continue to offend us as Jesus sees them. It is the spirit of Selfish Ambition against the spirit of Self Control! When someone hurts us, our natural response is, they hurt me. We hardly realize that the person hurting us is so hurt that they just simply hurt back others just so that in their minds they get even somehow, that is how the spirit of Selfish Ambition works. It is self-centered. If in the other hand we realize that the person hurting us is under the control of a spiritual stronghold, especially when they have repented in the past and come back and hurt us again, then our mind set can be one of Self Control. For our emphasis is now on the spiritual condition of the offender instead of our own hurt that we are experiencing by their actions against us. In spiritual warfare, once the spirit behind the offense is exposed, that lays the foundation for our victory over them. So that every time that we are offended we have an opportunity for a double victory. If we do not take the offense personal, we do not get hurt, for we say to ourselves, this is not about me...they are the ones that have a problem. Then we can direct our focus to the person that needs to be set free from their strongholds. We can do that by putting them on our prayer list and asking Jesus on a regular basis to bring deliverance into their lives, or if a door is opened for us to minister to them, because we did not take it personally when they hurt us. Then we can lead them into the truth that Jesus loves them and will never leave them no matter what, and if they see that demonstrated in us, they will know that it is for real. How do we identify strongholds? Selfish Ambition is always rooted in idolatry, and at the heart of idolatry is self-worship, for it cries this is all about Me. When we get offended it is because Me got in the way. But how can I keep from getting hurt you may ask? Next time that you get offended ask yourself this question, Who is offending Me, the person or a spirit within the person? If your answer is, it is the person, then it becomes personal to you, it also becomes a trap for your soul. For Jesus died for that person’s soul just as much as He died for your own soul, and now you find yourself embroiled in a dispute with a person that was created by God and in the image of God. But if your answer is, it is the spirit within that person that is offending me, then now you become one with Jesus in the indignation that one of His creatures has been taken captive by the devil to do his will. So that your prayer to Jesus would go something like this: Dear Lord Jesus, look what that spirit is doing to your child, please Lord set them free! We may not realize it, but that is probably one of the most powerful prayers that we will ever pray. For a prayer like that cannot come from us, but from the Spirit of God that dwells within us. Matthew 5:44-45 “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” How can we be different if we behave like the rest of the world? In our opening Scripture God says that from the womb, even to our old age He carries us, and ends by telling us that He will deliver us. What that means is that whatever happened to us, no matter how bad, or how evil, how unthinkable, or how depraved, He will deliver us! We can on one hand, blame our past for our present circumstances and lash out at others from the midst of our wretched condition; on the other hand, we can use those past experiences as a platform to launch our deliverance mindset that in everything, all things always work out for our own good, because He loves us and He carries us to victory no matter what. Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” All we have to do is reject Selfish Ambitions and embrace His spiritual fruit of Self Control. • THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS PRESENCE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains when you promise to manifest yourself to someone, it means that you will reveal yourself to that person and not to others. Top of Page THE MANIFESTATION OF HIS PRESENCE John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” When Jesus uttered these words to His disciples it became immediately clear to them that Jesus was making a very special promise to them. When you promise to manifest yourself to someone, it means that you will reveal yourself to that person and not to others. Because if everyone can see you there is no need for you to reveal yourself since you are already visible to everybody. John 14:19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.” It is within the context of Jesus leaving them and promising them that He would reveal Himself again after His departure, that this conversation is taking place. And it prompted this question by one of His disciples: John 14:22 “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, ‘Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?’” It is obvious that the disciples wanted to make sure that after Jesus left them, that they would be able to know how and where they could see Him again. Now for those of us who never had the opportunity of meeting and serving Jesus before He went to the cross, these passages of Scripture are very important, for they detail how we can also experience the personal manifestation of Jesus after His resurrection from the dead. Jesus gives us a very important key in verse nineteen: Because I live, you will live also. As we read the previous chapter Jesus is clearly telling them that where He is going they cannot follow, because He is going to the cross to die for their sins. But then He says to them, because I will live, you will live also, meaning I will die for you so that you can live, and if you are willing to die for My cause, you too will live to see Me again. John 13:37-38 “Peter said to Him, ‘Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.’ Jesus answered him, ‘Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.’” Peter understood the part about dying for the Lord, but he failed to understand the part about living for Him at that time. How many Christians have given their lives for the sake of our Lord’s Gospel this past year alone? It's not easy to die willingly, but for most of those who have given their lives for the Lord, they just did not have the choice to continue living for Him, and they surely were not willing to deny Him, that is why they were killed. Now we know from Scripture that those who are martyred for the sake of their testimony of Jesus are immediately welcome into His glorious holy presence. Talk about manifestation, those who remain faithful to their confession of faith in the face of imminent death, cannot help but to see the fullness of Jesus’ glory revealed to them as Jesus joyfully receives them into the fullness of His joy, before their bodies even hit the ground. But for those of us who remain the lesson is very clear, if we want to see the manifestation of Jesus in our lives we need to die to ourselves. What it really comes down to is love. John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’” I hear so many people say how much they love someone, but by their actions that sentiment is betrayed. Can persons that abandon their spousal or parental obligations for the sake of following their own self interests really say that they love the ones that they are leaving behind? This is what Jesus has to say about that: John 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” From God’s perspective true love can only be manifested by our commitment to carry out our obligations to His Word. We can say how much we love God all day long but by our actions we will be judged. Matthew 11:19 “The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children (the eventual manifestation of her good works).” And the consequences of our actions work both ways, if we are doing what is right and people falsely accuse us of doing wrong—like they did to Jesus—eventually those who do right will be proven right, and those who do wrong will be proven wrong. But those who do wrong will not experience the manifestation of Jesus in their lives, for those who do wrong, do so for selfish ambition and have not died to themselves. We are not talking about perfection here, for if only those who are perfect can expect Jesus to manifest Himself to them, then you can be sure that there will not be any personal manifestations any time soon. What did Jesus mean when He said: He who has My commandments and keeps them...If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word? Now let’s take a look at His words from the perspective of the imperfections of our human nature. When you show up to work everyday, can your boss really say that you are the perfect worker? Even in the remote possibility that you were the perfect worker, they would never say that about you, for if they did, they would have to give you a raise. Ha, Ha! This is what an employer is looking for in an ideal worker: that he/she shows up on time, every time, all the time. That he/she has a general knowledge of what they are expected to do, and a willingness to do it. And that they have the capacity to learn and to progress to a point where they get better and better at what they do. What are the ideal qualifications for a parent or a spouse? Does anybody really expect a husband or a wife or a parent to be perfect? I say not! But a husband is expected to be there for his wife, and the wife to be there for her husband. And how can a father or mother raise a child if they are absent? It is the same in our service to God! We do not get saved to continue in our own selfish way of life. Now that we are saved our responsibility is to the Word of God, to follow His commandments and to keep His Word. We are not perfect when we start, and we will not be perfect when we finish our Christian journey here on this earth. We will be judged by our faithfulness to His calling! Did we show up; in time, all the time? Did we show willingness to serve, and were we willing to change and learn new ways of living? If you work for a big corporation you may notice some apprehensiveness on the part of some of the workers when they know that the big boss is going to be around. That is how some Christians feel when the manifestation of God’s presence is all around them. If you believe that Jesus expects you to be perfect, it would be natural to feel uncomfortable when He manifests Himself to you. But what if He is just looking for you to be honest with Him? John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” Jesus does not really need perfect workers, does He? He does not even need any workers. What He is really looking for is for you and I to have a trusting relationship with Him. A relationship that is based in mutual love for one another instead of the dread of fear and failure. And there is no better place to have a relationship with Him than to share with Him in the things that He loves so much: He loves us! Humanity, He is for us, wants to be with us, and wants to be in us. He is such a gentlemen that He will not manifest Himself to us if it will make us feel uncomfortable. If we want His presence, then we must truly desire the manifestation of His presence. There may be some of you out there that feel that, perhaps you will never be comfortable enough around the manifestation of His presence. Maybe you were brought up to see our heavenly Father as a fearsome Judge instead of a loving Savior. But think about what is at stake here! John 15:1-4 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean (we need not fear our frailties) because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” After reading all these Scriptures I hope that you came to the same conclusion that I did, and that is that, intimacy with Him is not really an option, but the essence of life itself. That is if we truly want to be fruitful in our service to Him. The first step is getting down on your knees with a humbled and honest heart saying "Lord I don’t have much to offer you, but what little I have I give to you completely and irrevocably", then show up before His presence in the same manner, everyday, for the rest of your life. There is no greater joy than to have the privilege of experiencing the manifestation of His presence within the inner sanctum of our hearts. • THE WORK OF GOD | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Top of Page THE WORK OF GOD John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.’” Perhaps the greatest disagreement between the Bible and today’s science is the import and position of man within the creation. As we look out into the vastness of deep space, and see the enormity of the cosmos, and as we try to fathom the distances that we cannot comprehend, it is easy for us to see mankind as rather irrelevant within the immensity of the creation, but we are not the first to feel that way. Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit (give attention to or care for) him?” If we consider humanity by its size, or percentage, in relation with the rest of creation it is easy to see how one could ask the question, What is man? We could also ask the question, what is gold? Or what are diamonds? Don’t we move tons and tons of ore from deep out of the ground in order to extract a miniscule percentage of that which is very valuable to society? After all we move mountains to extract piles, as long as the commodity that we are seeking pays the cost of the investment and produces a profit in return. Isaiah 48:17 “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.” The answer to the question what is man in the eyes of God? Is that we are extremely rare, in relation with the vastness of the creation, and therefore very valuable to Him. Science has spent and continues to spend incredulous amounts of money and effort to find life, any kind of life, somewhere in the universe to prove that we are not as rare and therefore not as valuable to God as the Bible teaches that we are. Why is that? In order to answer that question, we need to understand the difference between profit/worth, and worthlessness. If science could prove somehow that man was not created after God’s image, then they can reason that there is nothing that it is owed to God by man, if we just evolved. If you find something extremely valuable by the curve side, can you assume that it has no owner and thereby take it for yourself? That is why, I believe, science devalues human life by the teaching of evolution, so that they can take credit and own it if you will, we made ourselves this smart they say, without God, and by doing that they devalue human life to the point that ruthless dictators, religious zealots, and roving gangs, can continue to murder and destroy the beauty of human life without the feeling of owing anything for their crimes. You cannot have deliverance until you renounce worthlessness. The world system promotes human worthlessness so that they can control the masses, a human who values his or her own life, will not give themselves over to be exploited by others as easily. Philemon 10-11 “I appeal to you for my son Onesimus (worthless), whom I have begotten while in my chains, who once was unprofitable (worthless) to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.” Onesimus was a runaway slave that once belonged to Philemon who fled to Rome where he was converted under Paul’s ministry. Remember our opening Scripture where it declared that the work of God is for us humans to believe in Jesus whom God sent? Paul declares that the once worthless slave, who owed his name to the fact that he was a bad investment for his owner, after receiving Christ as his savior has now become profitable not just to Paul who led him to the Lord, but to Philemon as well, for now he is not a slave anymore to him, but a brother in the Lord who is profitable to all. Here is how the Lord teaches us to be profitable. Isaiah 48:18 “Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness (value) like the waves of the sea.” What makes us so valuable to God is the price that Jesus paid to redeem us from our sins. God commands us to believe in Jesus for that is the only way that we can ever become profitable, to us, to others, and to God. That is why the ministry of deliverance is so effective, for it is a tool that God uses to remove the spirit of worthlessness from those who accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord, and that God also uses to fill them with a brand new purpose for their lives, which they now live in service to others as unto the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:16 “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked (daughter of Belial/worthlessness) woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Eli, the high priest, thought that Hannah was drunk as she was pouring her heart before God because she was barren and thereby considered worthless by many, when Eli accused her of being drunk, she cried out what in our present-day vernacular would be, I am not worthless! In a society that did not considered woman too highly, and faced with the fact that she was barren and therefore worthless to her husband’s progeny, accused by the priest of being drunk in church, yet this courageous woman dared to believe in a God who values human life, and offered Him the seed of her womb that was empty in the natural, but that by faith was so full of life. You see my friends, all that God needs in the natural is an empty womb, or an empty heart, but only if they fill their emptiness with the Spirit of Truth and thereby their void is filled with faith in the One who always keeps His promises. Once she cried out, I am not worthless, the high priest had no choice but to bless her with the peace of God, that Jesus promises to all who believe. 1 Samuel 1:17 “Then Eli answered and said, ‘Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.’” She went on to conceive and bore a son whom she lent to the Lord for life, she named him Samuel, and after that she had more children that the Lord blessed her with and that she raised herself. In her prayer of exaltation to the Lord she said this: 1 Samuel 2:1 “...My heart rejoices in the Lord; my horn (strength) is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation (deliverance).” Do you want to rid yourself once and for all of the spirit of worthlessness? You can do so right now, but there is the work of God that you will have to do: you are going to have to believe in Him whom He sent. Here are four prayers that you can pray. First you make Jesus your Savior, then you make Him Lord over your life, then you enter into a covenant with Him, a covenant to serve Him for the rest of your life. Then pray the prayer that breaks generational curses and get rid of worthlessness once and for all. All you need to bring is a broken spirit and a contrite heart, and God will fill you with His peace and will guide your steps forevermore. COVENANT OF SALVATION This prayer is to make Jesus your savior. Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I confess Jesus as my Lord and savior and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that now I am born again, in accordance to your word. Amen! COVENANT OF SURRENDER This prayer is to make Jesus Lord over your life. II Timothy 2:19-21 “Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’ In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” Prayer (say this out loud): Lord Jesus I belong to you and I commit myself to turn away from wickedness. Lord search me to see if there be any wicked thing in me. Expose and remove everything in my life that will hinder you from total lordship over my life. Grant me the strength dear Lord Jesus to endure the purification fire. I pray that through your testing you will find in me, genuine faith. Amen! THE SERVANT’S COVENANT This is prayer is a petition to become a humble servant. John 12:26 “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” Prayer (say this out loud): Father in heaven I surrender all positions in life to you, in order to become Jesus’ faithful servant and to follow Him. This body is not my own, but it has been purchased with the blood of Jesus. I want to be in your perfect will Lord Jesus, let everything that I do bring glory and honor to you dear Lord. Teach me to be humble, train me to be your faithful servant. Amen! PRAYER TO REMOVE GENERATIONAL CURSES Prayer (say this out loud): Our Father who are in heaven, creator of heaven and earth, God the judge of all; in the name of Jesus your only Son I enter into Your heavenly court and publicly repent of all of my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness in the Name of Jesus. Apply dear Lord I pray, the atoning blood of Jesus over all the sins in my life and the sins in my ancestor’s life that resulted in a curse. I repent of all of our disobediences and rebellions committed against Your Word. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of perversion, lust, cheating, lying, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, uncleanness, filthiness, wantonness, lewdness, and every perverted thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of false religion, cults, reading of horoscopes, idolatry, witchcraft, divination, all occult involvements, seditions, heresies, sorcery, dissentions, and every demonic thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of indecision, compromise, hatred, contentions, envy, gossip, murder, hostility towards others, hostilities towards my self, ill will towards others, ill will towards my self, and every divisive thing that was connected to our fallen nature. I now repent from and I renounce all the sins in my life and my ancestor’s life such as the sins of malfunction, failures, laziness, lack of responsibility, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, drunkenness, intoxication, addictions, dependencies, and every compromising thing that was connected to our fallen nature. According to 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Now that I’ve confessed all my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from all my unrighteousness and the unrighteousness passed to me through the iniquity of all my ancestor’s. Deliver me Lord and cleanse me by the power of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I now take authority over the devil’s accusations against me. In accordance with the Word of God, I break and condemn any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death and vagabond. I break all curses on my marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break curses of rejection, pride, rebellion, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion. In the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus, I now break all curses affecting my finances, my mind, my sexual character, my emotions, my will, my intellect, and all my relationships. In the Name of Jesus I now break every hex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life and my family’s life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is the result of a curse. According to Galatians 3:13 I have been redeemed from the curse of the law by the sacrifice that Jesus offered on my behalf. Father in heaven I now exercise my faith in the blood that Jesus offered for my redemption, and I loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood that Jesus offered for my sins and the sins of my fathers. All of my sins have been forgiven, so I now renounce all the works of Satan and their effect over my life, and my family’s lives, and I loose myself from every curse that came as a result of our disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God. I exercise my faith now in the Word of God: Romans 10:9-10, and I make confession with my mouth of the salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration that I believe in my heart is now mine, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore I confess that Abraham’s blessings are mine. I confess that I am blessed and not curse. I confess that I am the head and not the tail. I confess that I am above and not beneath. I confess that I am blessed coming in and going out. I confess that I am blessed by God, and what God has blessed cannot be curse. In the Name of Jesus and by the power of His shed blood, I now command spirits of Rejection, Hurt, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Bondage, Torment, Death, Destruction, Suicide, Fear, Lust, Perversion, Mind Control, Witchcraft, Poverty, Lack, Debt, Confusion, Double-mindedness, Sickness, Infirmity, Pain, Divorce, Separation, Strife, Contention, Depression, Sadness, Loneliness, Self-Pity, Self-Destruction, Self-Rejection, Anger, Rage, Wrath, Anguish, Vagabond, Abuse, Addiction, Insanity, Worthlessness, and the rest to COME OUT NOW in the Name of Jesus my Deliverer, and be forever gone, because all of your rights to torment me and my family have now been removed. Dear Father in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus Your only begotten Son, I now thank you for setting me and making me free from every curse and from every unclean spirit that had operated in my life as a result of curses. Thank You Jesus! Amen. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
