- SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on discerning Spiritual Activities. Top of Page SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT 1 Corinthians 12:10 “…To another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits…” Spiritual discernment is one of nine “gifts” made available to believers by the Holy Spirit for the profit of all believers. In spiritual warfare our foes are spirits, our ability to discern who these spirits are and how they operate is crucial if we are to get the upper hand in bringing deliverance to the believers who are oppressed by them. Matthew 12:43-45 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” In the above verses Jesus gives us tremendous insight into the why and the how of unclean spirits and how they operate. Also how they gain access into the individual. A wicked generation opens the door for widespread demonic infestation. The root of wickedness is idolatry, and idolatry produces iniquities. Psalm 7:14 “Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity.” Exodus 20:4-5 “You shall not make for yourself a carved (idolatry) image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.” And the root of idolatry is hatred towards God. According to Jesus there are seven different kinds of more wicked spirits who are able to interact with the less wicked spirit that claims the body that he was exorcised from as his own house. It will be interesting to know who this wicked spirit is who is able to summon help from more wicked spirits than himself in order to take back the house (body) from which he was kicked out. Proverbs 26:24-26 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; when he speaks kindly, do not believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.” Idolatry in its root form is wickedness that brings forth iniquity (inherited sin) which is deeply rooted in hate, hatred of God and of everything that belongs to God. So that the primary but lesser unclean spirit that summons the seven more wicked spirits than himself after he is cast out, is the spirit of hate. He who hates harbors (summons) seven abominations in his heart (spirits) which revealed themselves as wickedness. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit (singular) of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (these eight are all manifestations of God’s love). Against such there is no law.” Our born-again spirit is conceived in love (God so loved the world). That love manifests itself in the born-again person in eight different representations of God’s love, for a total of nine. The un-regenerated spirit still belongs to God though separated from Him, so hate which is the opposite of love manifests itself in seven different ways or levels of wickedness, for a total of eight unclean spirits. Satan, the head of the demons sums up to number nine. Every demonic infrastructure is a perverted copy of the heavenly pattern. God is love and manifests His love in eight fruit, singular as in one unit. Satan cannot possess the spirit-man for it belongs to God, so his hate can only manifest itself in seven different levels of itself (hate being number eight) within an individual. These seven manifestations of hate are called abominations in the Word of God. Our ability to discern these abominably unclean spirits and their deeply rooted hatefulness is crucial in our ability to help people beset by them to be set free. This is what spiritual discernment is all about. Seven abominations which are born out of hatred towards God. 1) Proverbs 16:5 “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” Number one is the spirit of Pride. If hate is the root, clearly pride is the trunk of the tree. Pride is born out of a hateful heart. The spirit of hate masquerades itself so as not to be uncovered: Proverbs 26:24 “He who hates, disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself.” One sure way to know if hate is present in the heart of the person we are helping is through the discernment of the spirit of pride. If pride is present, hate is hiding behind it, they go together like a hand in glove, and it is this lethal combination of joining forces which enables these other six unclean spirits access. 2) Proverbs 15:8 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.” Number two is the spirit of Self-righteousness. The proud in heart will pray (sacrifice) to God in self-righteousness instead of meekness, not even aware sometimes of his own conceit. Luke 18:11-13 “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men — extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess’.” What is it that drives people to do what they do? If pride is behind it, nothing good will come out of it. 3) Proverbs 15:26 “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD, but the words of the pure are pleasant.” Number three is the spirit of Gossip and Slander. Jesus told us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We have a saying that says, the down puts down, the mind set of this spirit is to tear down with words, gossip and slander are its characteristics. 4) Proverbs 11:20 “Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, but the blameless in their ways are His delight.” Number four is the spirit of Malice. A perverse heart manifests itself through malice. It will actively seek and desire for evil things to befall others. 5) Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.” Number five is the spirit of Bitter Envy and Self-seeking. James 3:14 “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.” 6) Proverbs 11:1 “Dishonest scales are an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” Number six is the spirit of Betrayal and dishonesty. Dishonesty, betrayal and untrustworthiness is the conduct that will expose this spirit. 7) Proverbs 3:32 “For the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.” Number seven is the spirit of Perversion. The person that is driven by the selfish desires of their heart (lust of the flesh), will desire to obtain the things which they see (lust of the eyes) as profitable for increasing their own status in the eyes of others (pride of life). Such a person becomes perverted, meaning a counterfeit copy of their real selves, which was originally created in the image of God. The proud heart will sacrifice whatever it takes to realize the thoughts and desires of their perverse heart, they will lie and cheat to achieve their goals. In the process they lose their original personality, which was created in them by God, and become a perversion of what they were created to be. Who would have thought that hate could produce so much evil. The sad thing is that it usually begins with hating oneself. Pride is what we use to compensate for the feelings of worthlessness, and the rest just follows. Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God put a price on the soul of man, a price so valuable that could only be measure by the intensity of the sufferings and passion of His only begotten Son for us. The precious and priceless blood that Jesus shed for us has once and for all separated the words “worthless” and “soul”. They are so far apart that they are not even in the same universe. Love and self-acceptance in the unconditional love God has for us, which He demonstrated on the cross, is the key that unlocks and opens the perverse heart and releases that hateful bird called pride. Humbly and grateful the restored heart rejoices in its new found love and acceptance, and the peace of God which passes all understanding rules and guides, faithfully comforting the emerging new person which is now being built in the image of Christ. Romans 8:37-39 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” True deliverance comes as we replace the spirit of hate with God’s love which is Spirit, and that’s the truth. Isaiah 25:1 “O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

- VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches the visible realm is three dimensional and when you associate it with the invisible spiritual dimension it becomes fourfold: Thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. Top of Page VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE Colossians 1:16 “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” Whenever the Bible talks about invisible things it is referring to the spiritual realm, in this case it is dealing with the interactions of the spiritual realm with the visible physical realm. Since the visible realm is three dimensional, when you associate it with the invisible spiritual dimension it becomes fourfold, that is why our text includes a fourfold reference to the creation: Thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. The epistle to the Colossians gives us tremendous insight into how the visible and invisible creation interacts and operates. Let us define first the difference between the physical and spiritual dimensions so that we can learn the mysteries of how the invisible world operates and learn how much it influences our physical world. Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light (energy).” The spiritual or invisible realm is one that is made of energy, we cannot see energy that is why it is invisible to us. The creatures that live in the spiritual realm are made of energy that is why we cannot see them either. But the fact that we cannot see them does not mean that it does not exist and they are not actively interacting with the visible realm. As a matter of fact, at the core of all physical tangible matter there is an invisible quantum reality that science is still trying to explain. From the Bible we know that the spiritual realm is an eternal one, and so science has discovered that the sub-atomic particles that give form to all physical matter transcend time and space, that is they can be in two separate places at the same time. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look (put our focus on) at the things which are seen (visible), but at the things which are not seen (invisible). For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Now when Paul says that we have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light, what he is telling us is that we have been given power to manipulate that invisible energy, which is radically awesome if we can just barely grasp its implications. Colossians 1:9 “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” Paul is so excited about the faith of the Colossians in the Gospel of truth that was preached to them, that he is telling them that he cannot wait to see them come into the revelation knowledge of what just happened to them, through the agency of spiritual understanding. Just as he was telling the Corinthians not to put their focus on the mundane visible things, but to put their hope on the eternal invisible things that are not of this world. Can we get just as excited as Paul was about the reality that we too have received the Gospel of truth, and that we also have been qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light? We should! Colossians 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed (transferred) us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” This three-dimensional world has been plunged into spiritual darkness by the devil and all his minions, Jesus has delivered us from the darkness of this physical world and has placed us in the high, and out of this world kingdom of the Son of His love. John 8:23 “...You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” What does it all mean to us, what are the advantages of being able to operate in the kingdom of the light? Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven (spiritual invisible realm), and whatever you bind on earth (physical visible realm) will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” A key is used to unlock things that we previously had no access to, a key can also be used to lock things up that we do not want anybody to steal from us, why would Jesus give us the key if we did not have with it the access to the lock as well? Now as we look at this verse of Scripture from the scientific point of view, and know that all physical things are held together by this invisible force that holds the atomic particles together that form all that is tangible, then we can extrapolate that we have been given the power to loose that which is bound, and to bound that which is loose, whether in the invisible fourth dimension called heaven, or the physical three dimension we call earth. Colossians 1:10 “That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Obviously, we need to know and we need to understand how it all works, that is if we want to put it to good use, for we can also read in the text of what Jesus told us, as binding on earth that which has already been bound in heaven, and loosing on earth that which has already been loosed in heaven, so that spiritual understanding is critical. All things were created through Him and for Him. Our opening text. Rule number one, follow The Word! John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” Now if we want to fully understand the meaning of how The Word created everything we need to know what The Word of God is. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living (life giving) and powerful (energy)…” The Word of God is life giving, life sustaining energy. When God said, Let there be light, He released all the energy that exists in the universe today, and it was out of that energy that all physical tangible matter was formed, including intelligent human life. John 1:4 “In Him (The Word) was life, and the life was the light of (the energy that created) man.” So that all things were created and are sustained by The Word of God including intelligent human life. At the very core of our physical being we are held together by the energy that is in The Word of God. So that whatever is loosed on the earth that the Word of God tells us should be bound, we have power in the name of Jesus, The Word of God, to bind it and vice versa. John 16:24 “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” We have access into the invisible spiritual realm in the name of Jesus. Philippians 2:9-10 “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” Paul takes it one notch higher and tells us that in the name of Jesus we not only have the power to bind and to loose the very cords that hold everything together in the visible and invisible realms, but also over those under the earth, where the seat of demonic power resides in the belly of the underworld. That means that in the name of Jesus we have power over life and over death, as long as we follow the precepts laid out for us in His Word, to bring forth God’s reconciliation into this physical world. Colossians 1:19-20 “For it pleased the Father that in Him (Jesus) all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- Intuitive Knowledge in the Age of Reason | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) says not everyone may know this, but we all speak three different languages. Our bodies speak the language of signs, mannerisms and gestures: known as Body Language. Top of Page Top of Page INTUITIVE KNOWLEDEGE IN THE AGE OF REASON Written by Pastor Marcos Marrero Published on 3/6/22 Ecclesiastes 12:11 “The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.” The wisdom of Learned Knowledge which is what our present day understanding of the universe is based on, has been declared foolishness by God Himself. 1 Corinthians 1:20 “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God MADE FOOLISH the wisdom of this world?” The fundamental flaw of Learned Knowledge is that it is based on the things that are visible, which always leads to a scientific dead end when trying to piece together the origin and purpose for the creation of our universe, by basing it on the things which are seen. Proverbs 16:25 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Now the Word of God teaches us the proper way of how to understand the why and when of the creation itself, if we just follow the basic foundational principles upon which God created everything that He made; and for that we need to look in the right place: the Word of God. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are TEMPORARY (changing, passing away), but the things which are not seen are ETERNAL (complete).” The creation itself reflects the nature of the Creator, in order to understand the unseen parts of the creation we need to obtain the ability to decipher the spiritual language of the Creator. Psalm 19:1-3 “The heavens DECLARE the glory of God; and the firmament SHOWS His handiwork. Day unto day UTTERS speech, and night unto night REVEALS knowledge. THERE IS NO SPEECH NOR LANGUAGE WHERE THEIR VOICE IS NOT HEARD.” The capitals in all the verses quoted added by me for emphasis. Day and night God continuously declares and shows us His glory as He utters and reveals knowledge through the creation itself. And all this vital information is made available to all who seek it, and it does not matter what our learned language is. So, what is this mysterious language that God speaks and that we can all learn from? I call it Intuitive Knowledge! 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you COMPLETELY; and may your whole SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Not everyone may know this, but we all speak three different languages. Our bodies speak the language of signs, mannerisms and gestures: known as Body Language. Today we have Body Language in which experts appear on TV shows tell us what others are saying by their expressions. Our soul is the seat of our mind and understanding, and expresses itself through what I refer to earlier as Learned Knowledge, which is the language or languages that we learned to speak as we were growing up during our lifetime . I believe that the language that our spirits speak is what I call Intuitive Knowledge. Intuition is very hard to comprehend with our natural or soul way of thinking. I used to think of it as hints or hunches that came to us by way of chance. But now I am totally convinced that Intuitive Knowledge is the language that the spirit-man was created to speak and understand. It is a language that has an alphabet and the means to conjugate and express—that is to Declare, Show, Utter and Reveal knowledge and understanding at a level we could never dream of. This is what I am going to try and teach in the next few pages, the language that our spirit-man craves for. Why should a Christian endeavor to learn the spiritual language of Intuitive Knowledge? James 1:5-8 “If any of you lacks WISDOM, let him ask of God, who GIVES TO ALL liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in FAITH, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a DOUBLE-MINDED MAN, unstable in all his ways.” Wisdom and faith are both spiritual and we have to be single minded in order to get them. To be double-minded (two souls) means that the spirit and the soul are not on the same page. So faith comes by hearing the Word of God that comes through the spirit-man and convinces the soul. Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is perfect, CONVERTING the soul; the testimony of the Lord is SURE (trustworthy), making wise the SIMPLE (humble).” The soul-man looks at the structure—the creation—from the outside, while the spirit-man looks at the infrastructure—or the inner workings of the creation—from the inside. The soul-man learns through words and the spirit-man understands through numbers. And when they come together as one, we receive revelation directly from our Redeemer, as given by One Shepherd. Psalm 19:14 “Let the WORDS (Learned Knowledge) of my mouth and MEDITATION (Intuition) of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” I believe that the Intuitive Knowledge language of the spirit-man is a mathematical language and that it has a numerical alphabet if you will. What makes this mathematical language superior to the Learned Knowledge language of the soul-man is that numbers never lose anything in the translation. It does not matter our language or traditions or customs, mathematical principles never change. God created us to communicate with Him in all three levels: spirit, soul and body. Because of the rebellion at the tower of Babel, God confused the one language that they all spoke and therefore they were divided and scattered around the post diluvium world. However, on the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell on one hundred and twenty souls and their spiritual language was restored, but their ability to understand it naturally was restricted. 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY discerned.” Without the Spirit of God we cannot be partakers of the gift of Intuitive Knowledge, but for those of us who have been born of the Spirit of God, we have received and are qualified to learn from this great blessing of having the spiritual discernment provided by Intuitive Knowledge. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “However, we speak WISDOM among those who are MATURE, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to NOTHING (temporary and are passing). But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the HIDDEN (intuitive) WISDOM WHICH GOD ORDAINED before the ages for our GLORY (understanding).” With all these Scriptures in mind and with the Holy Spirit’s help let us see if we can find some of the hidden wisdom which God ordained for our times. If numbers are a language—a means of communication—then they have to have a structure or a numerical alphabet of some sort. I propose that the ten digits in our hands comprise the entirety of this numerical alphabet. Written in our bodies so that we never forget them, for we have been created with ten fingers. The numbers one through nine all represent the revelation of God’s creation; for they all have value within themselves. Therefore, God uses Psalm 19 or one through nine as the place for this revelation; also, in Psalm 119 He shows us the perfection of the Hebrew alphabet, and in Psalm 139 about His perfect foreknowledge of everything that He created through the numbers 1-9. A Zero has no value by itself, so it represents everything that God created including man. If you place a Zero on the right side of any of the digits that have value, that number is magnified. If you take the number One and add a Zero to its right side it combines to make the number Ten. There are four perfect numbers that theologians have found: The number Three is defined as Divine Perfection, the number Seven as Spiritual Perfection, the number Ten as Ordinal Perfection and the number Twelve is assigned the title of Governmental Perfection. In the number Ten, the One and the Zero, we learn the law of divine order. Following mathematical principles if you put the Zero after the One you have the number Ten, which indicates increase in value. If you put the Zero in front of the One indicates a decrease in value. The first of the Ten Commandments teaches us not to put anything before the One God. As the Creator God must always be first, in order for the creatures that He created to increase. When Lucifer said that he would be like God, as in no need of God; instantly he was demoted and became the devil, which means supreme spirit of evil, and Satan, which means adversary; he became the embodiment of everything that God is not. We were created by God and for God, but we have a choice, not choosing to put God first ROBS us of our potential for His divine favor. John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to STEAL (robs us), and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may HAVE (God adds) life, and that they may have it more ABUNDANTLY (He not only adds life but He also multiplies it as well).” The Lord puts this verse and chapter in the number Ten for a double emphasis. Satan is a predator; the law of predatory behavior Divides and Takes away. God on the other hand, as Creator has the power to Add and to Multiply. To those who put God first in their lives God adds and multiplies life and life in abundance. The devil comes as a thief; he divides and takes way. So Ordinal Perfection teaches that to be blessed we have to put God first in all areas of our lives. Romans 10:9-10 “9) That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” The number Nine (verse nine) represents God’s completed work of redemption; that of Jesus dying on the cross and Him rising from the dead, the number Ten (verse ten) represents those who by confession of faith place themselves in the proper Ordinal Perfection that God created. So that to divide and to take away and addition and multiplication are a form of a numerical conjugation system that denotes the separation between one and the other. In some cases between good and evil, right and wrong, love and hate, blessings and curses. In other cases adding and or multiplying to express the hidden or spiritual meaning of the verses confirmed by the numerical values assigned to them as we have seen in some of the verses already. Now let us look at the numbers One through Nine. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 “4) Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is ONE! 5) You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” In verse five we are commanded to love God—that is, put the number One first—spirit, soul and body. All of us humans were created in God’s image. In verse four our God is One God and three persons marking the meaning of the number Three as Divine Perfection. The Four and the Five add to Nine which speaks of God’s completeness and fullness which are represented by the value in the numbers in this numerical alphabet of One through Nine. Six is the number for man. 1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and THESE THREE ARE ONE.” NKJV Let us deal with the number One first: If God was one God and one person only there would be no creation, there would not even be the necessity for a language, for there would be no one else for God to speak with. If God was one God and two persons, He would be able to talk to Himself for the second person would be the Word, but there would still be no creation. It is only when we count the Third Person of the trinity, the Holy Spirit—that we see the Divine Perfection at work with their ability to have a relationship within themselves and with their own created creatures. We see in the creation narrative that God spoke and energy—the Word of God is energy—came out of His mouth and the Holy Spirit gave shape to that which God spoke into existence. In the numeric’s of Psalm 19 verses 1, 2 and 3, where God reveals the hidden and visible things of the creation, we see that the number One plus Two more verses = Three verses in total: to signal that, Divine Perfection is behind the Ones who created our universe and are revealing all the LAWS THAT GOVERN it, therefore the number Twelve—one and two in that order—which is the number of Governmental Perfection is putting its stamp on it as well. Psalm 19:1, 4 “1) The HEAVENS declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. 4) Their LINE (sound) has gone out through all the EARTH, and their words to the end of the WORLD...” Now, the number Four represents the physical creation and intertwines with the first perfect number, the number Three—Divine Perfection—and together Three and Four they form the metaphysical in the number Seven—Spiritual Perfection: Heaven and earth together. As God’s judgment upon the earth begins in the final days, we see this interaction between the numbers Three and the number Four. Revelation 7:1 “After these things I saw FOUR angels standing at the FOUR corners of the earth, holding the FOUR winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.” The number Four appearing Three times in the first verse of chapter Seven: Four plus Three = Seven—Spiritual Perfection ready to be poured out upon a rebellious physical world. Psalm 19:7 “The law of the Lord is (physically and spiritually) PERFECT…” Open your hand without the thumb and hold your four fingers up and you will see three empty spaces between them. The human soul sees the four fingers for they are physically visible. But our spirit-man sees perfection in the Three spaces between them, for there are Three that testify in heaven—the spiritual realm—and they are the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit. So that if we follow the instructions of Ordinal Perfection properly we see that everything is interconnected to the Word of God and to the inner workings of the creation itself. In the Hebrew alphabet the tenth Hebrew letter is the Yod and it represents a single hand with a value of ten. So that this letter Yod = Hand can also represent the double witness of the two hands together having ten fingers. This is very important because the hand represented by the Yod in the Hebrew alphabet is neither open nor close. What happens if you open your hand and include the thumb? We see five fingers. The number five represents the breath of God which can be equated with the blessings and favor of God. Following the same principle that we applied to the Four and Three, let us look into the inner workings of the numbers Five and Four. If we open up our hands with our thumbs included our spirit-man will immediately equate the five fingers with the blessings of God. The redeemed soul will see the creation—Four—overwhelmed by the mercies of a Mighty and Loving God—Five. Ephesians 4:11 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” God’s five-fold ministry is represented by an opened hand; the open hand also represents Jesus’ heart toward the human race; Jesus tells the Laodicea church that He is knocking at the door of their hearts, as if it were hand to hand or heart to heart, wanting to come in and to have fellowship with them. An open hand represents a heart that it’s open to receive God’s spiritual blessings, while a close hand represents an unwilling heart. Even today we know that a raised closed hand or fist is symbolic of rebellion. Because of past failures Moses was refusing to go and deliver the Israelites from Egyptian captivity, then God asked Moses “What is that in your hand?” God had destined Moses to be a Deliverer before Moses was born, it was written in his heart. Once Moses let go of the rod that represented the failures of his past, he was released and allowed to put the past behind him, and fulfill his destiny which involved the number Ten, as in the Ten Commandments written by God Himself on stoned tablets that Moses was to deliver to Israel. Moses was also called to consecrate the priesthood as recipients of the sacrifices that Israel was required to offer. The word consecration is a two part word: the second part of the word is Mah-leh = SECRATE. In the original Hebrew first appears in Genesis 1:22 and is translated “Fill up complete” God places two Hebrew letters in front of Mah-leh: first the Yod and second Dalet: Yod means hand and Dalet means open door. Put it all together and to consecrate means to open up your hand which represents our hearts and God will fill it to overflow with mercy and grace. Christianity’s foundation are Justification, sanctification, glorification and consecration. The Five-fold ministry proclaiming the Four basic tenants of the Christian faith completes the number Nine: Justification by faith in the blood of Jesus, Sanctification by the Word of God, Glorification by the renewing work of the Holy Spirit in us and the Consecration of an open heart to God’s individual destiny for each of us. Psalm 19:9-10 “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.” Verse Nine represents God’s completed work that will endure forever, and the number Ten represents that it was all accomplished through the gifts or blessings that flow out of Ordinal Perfection: Honey is ingested into the inward man and gold is for our outward adornment. Six is the number of man; Adam was created on the sixth day. Adam was created in the image of God who is Three Persons so we see that Three plus Three equals Six. Psalm 8:4-6 “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put ALL THINGS under his feet.” Man is the crowning achievement of God’s creation! Meaning that man is the reason that God created our universe and the purpose for its continued existence. Although the first man, Adam failed to measure up to God’s destiny, the last Adam, Jesus did not let us down. We added three plus three to see man’s destiny in verse SIX: How God put all things under man’s feet. Following God’s flow of add and multiply let us now multiply Three times Three which equals Nine the number of completeness and the finality that takes place before we enter into the infinite realm in which God dwells, with a new heaven and the new earth added. Psalm 8:3, 9 “When I consider Your HEAVENS (our present universe), the WORK of Your FINGERS (Ordinal Perfection), the moon and the stars that You have ORDAINED…9) O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!” Psalm113:4-6 “The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the HEAVENS (our present universe), who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on HIGH (infinity), who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the HEAVENS and in the EARTH? (our present universe)” God dwells in Infinity Time. God created our universe and put a limit for its duration for a very specific reason; and man is the tool that God personally fashioned to bring about the purpose for the creation of the heavens and the earth. 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE THE SON OF GOD WAS MANIFESTED, that He might DESTROY THE WORKS of the devil.” I believe that the cause or reason why God created our temporary universe was that He had to deal with the nature of evil. God is GOOD and the essence of Goodness Himself: Since only God is Good and He does not change; evil then—the antonym for good—could be portrayed as a shadow that follows God’s goodness. Before the creation of our universe evil existed only in a vacuum if you will. The only way for God to get rid of evil would be for Him to stop being good; thank God for the impossibility of God ever ceasing to be good. If one cannot get rid of evil then how does God neutralize it? By exposing evil for what it is: EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL in a contained area where God can keep evil from ever contaminating the Infinite Time in which He dwells. Romans 7:13 “Has then what is GOOD become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might APPEAR (be exposed as) SIN, was producing death in me through what is GOOD (God’s law), so that sin through the commandment might become EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL.” Notice the verse and chapter numbers: Seven is the completion of something that is temporary, and Thirteen denotes sin, death and evil. I believe that our universe was created for the express purpose of exposing evil for what it is, the exact opposite of God’s goodness. Evil without essence was like a mine hidden on a field waiting to be tripped. God created a secure place—our universe—and then created the angels first, knowing that eventually one or some of His creatures would decide that they could be good without God, not knowing that evil was the opposite of all that is good, and once a sovereign creature created in the image of God put himself before God that creature would become the embodiment of evil itself. Lucifer the creature that tripped that hidden mine became the embodiment of all that is evil: Devil means supreme spirit of evil and Satan means adversary, everything that God is not. For more details on this subject read my book: The Shadow of Evil by Marcos Marrero in the books section of the houseoffaithministries.org web-page. Revelation 19:20 “The the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. THESE TWO WERE CAST ALIVE into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” At the end of our first six thousand years of human history and before we enter into God’s millennial rest, the embodiment of evil in HUMAN FORM—the Antichrist and the False Prophet—are taken alive into the lake of fire, which is the infinite destiny of evil itself. A thousand years later the spiritual embodiment of evil itself—the Devil and Satan—will join them, to be displayed for time immemorial, as the smoke of their torment rises to warn all future and newly created beings of the consequences of their choosing—whether to be with God or not—and of the great difference between good and evil. I used to think that Eve was the victim when the serpent lured her into partaking of the forbidden fruit. For we know that Adam was not deceived, Adam loved his bride and did not want to lose her, so he chose her fate and partook with her knowingly. But when God judged the serpent God’s pronouncement was: He, the Seed of the woman, shall bruise the serpents head. The woman was not the victim, SHE WAS THE MEANS! It is true that the serpent poisoned human DNA with evil and death. But Jesus, the Seed of the woman, through His virgin birth infused eternal life into all humanity with His purifying blood, thereby exposing evil for what it truly is and eventually locking evil up for all infinity in the Lake of Fire for all to see, neutralized of its power to deceive and to never cause harm again. Also, in great amazement, we will see in the new heavens and in the new earth, prominently displayed will be the holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. She will bear witness for time immemorial of the fact that God and only God is Good, and that His mercies endure forever. And that His promises are Yes and Amen! Revelation 21:1-3 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.’” In verses One through Three we see the completion of the purpose for which God created our universe, the present heaven and earth. Revelation 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, FOR THE FORMER THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY.” And in verse Four the creation represented by the number Four is introduced to a new reality: Four plus Four = Eight the number of new beginnings that follows after the completion of the number Seven, at the end of the thousand years reign of Christ. All this is taking place in Revelation chapter twenty-one: Seven times Three. Daniel 6:27 “He DELIVERS and RESCUES, and He works SIGNS and WONDERS in heaven and on earth, who has delivered DANIEL (the wise) from the power of the lions.” He delivers and rescues number Six the wise man, through signs and wonders. Two plus Seven equals Nine for Completion, and the Three numbers is for Divine Perfection which ADDS to the number Twelve for Governmental Perfection. Nine MULTIPLIED by the number Three equals Twenty-seven, the number of the chapter, and the number of books in the New Testament. Intuitive knowledge is infinite, it is so vast and so deep that is able to provide us from within—in the spirit-man—with the assurances that a life-time in the natural could never match in experience or scope. To know that we know with unrivaled certainty! Even though we may not understand it all in the natural, is not that what faith is? All the numbers referenced in the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, speak volumes of how God puts it all together in the final tally. But for now I want to encourage those of you who are seeking Intuitive Knowledge, that is not about the numbers per say, as much as it is acknowledging the spirit-man within us by always looking at the numerical context. Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of a man IS THE LAMP OF THE LORD, searching ALL the INNER DEPTHS of his heart.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- CURSES | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” Top of Page CURSES Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” Glory to God for His redemptive power! In this lesson we will share with you a few points that all believers should know about curses and how they operate. Let us begin with the fact that curses are real, and that they have a real negative impact on those upon whom they land. Deuteronomy 28:20 “The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.” The verse above is the summation of what Paul calls the curse of the law in his letter to the Galatians. Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 28-30 , that God was giving them a choice between blessings and cursing, and that by their decision to uphold or reject the promises that God was giving to them—either by their actions or by their neglect—that they would place themselves to receive the blessings or cursing as a result of what they chose to believe. Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” There is n o in between when one belongs to God, and as it is written: The earth is the Lord...and all who dwell in it. Psalm 24:1 Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Let us ask this question from the New Testament perspective, Is the curse of the law active today against the human race? 1 Corinthians 16:22 “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (anathema). O Lord come!” Jesus Christ is the only One who has the power to redeem us from the curse of the law, so that all who are outside of Christ are still under the curse of the law. That is why Paul adds the phrase, O Lord come into those who do not yet know You so that they can be delivered from the curse of the law (interpretation mine). Paul knew that without Christ, who bore our curse on the cross—cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree—there can be no hope of redemption from all the curses stated in the law. From the New Testament perspective again we ask this question, Are all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord automatically delivered from all the curses stated in the law? Legally, yes! Practically, no! How do we know? Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” In practicality the nature of how the curses operate does not change, what changes is the legal rights of those who are still under the consequences of the curse of the law, but who have now been redeemed by Christ Jesus. Deliverance from the consequences of many of the curses has to be appropriated; we know some of the consequences are removed automatically when we get saved, while others are removed as we properly practice and partake of the sacraments, like water baptism and holy communion. Deuteronomy 28:60 “Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.” Sickness and diseases come as the result of the curse of the law, when we get saved, we do not automatically get healed, although legally, we are already healed as soon as Christ comes into our hearts. 1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose striped you were healed.” In Christ—legally speaking—God does not consider us to be under the curse of the law any longer, but since God is not mocked, as long as we not having died to sins continue to live for unrighteousness, then the sickness and the diseases of the curse of the law shall cling continuously unless and until they are dealt with according to the Scriptures. James 5:14-16 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save (deliver from the consequences of the curse) the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Once in Christ, a way of escape from the consequences of the curse of the law is made available to the believer who wants to turn his/her life around so that they might live for righteousness sake. According to a book written by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond, who were considered to be pioneers in the deliverance ministry in the last century, there are eight basic laws that govern curses. For the benefit of those who are in Christ but still struggle with the consequences of the curse of the law, I will now list the eight principles that they believed and taught, govern all curses. 1) THERE IS A CAUSE FOR EVERY CURSE. Proverbs 26:2 “Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without cause shall not alight.” 2) SIN IS THE GATEWAY FOR THE CURSE. Genesis 3:14 “Because you have done this, you are cursed…” 3) A CURSE IS A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE REMEDIED BY NATURAL MEANS. Galatians 6:7-8 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows (seeks for a solution from the Holy Spirit) to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” 4) WHERE SIN REMAINS THE CURSE REMAINS. 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn form their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 5) THE POWER OF A CURSE IS DEMONIC. Genesis 4:7 “If you do well (do the right thing), will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin (demons are the power behind the sinful act) lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 6) THE LAW PROVIDED NO REMEDY FOR THE CURSE. Galatians 3:10 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.’” 7) CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. Galatians 3:10 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).” 8) THE REDEMPTION MUST BE APPROPRIATED. Genesis 22:16-18 “...By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice (and were willing to forfeit the most precious thing that you had in order to obtain the promise).” The eight points are quoted directly from the author, as well as many of the Scriptures he quoted to make his point, but the explanations in brackets which are not part of Scripture are mine. The name of the book is The Breaking of Curses, by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. Published by Impact Christian Books. Inc. We conclude then that curses are still part of everyday life for all who do not love Jesus Christ, and that for many who believe in Him, curses are still a part that affects them negatively. What then, shall a believer do, who wants to be freed from the consequences of the curses that he/she brought upon themselves by their lawless deeds, or about the iniquity that they have inherited by the lawless deeds of their ancestors, which still affects them today? Galatians 5:16 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” How do we walk in the Spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no (curse of the) law.” To walk in the Spirit, one must walk in obedience to the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Works of the flesh are the mark of selfish ambitions, to which all of the curses are attached. All spiritual fruit leads to self-control which bear the mark of the flesh that has been crucified with all its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Spiritual fruit cannot be cursed because it is blessed by God. - GOD IS GOOD | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Psalm 86:5 “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” Top of Page GOD IS GOOD Psalm 86:5 “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” The greatest accomplishment perpetrated against humanity by the devil, is getting people to blame God for the evil that the devil does. John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus makes it abundantly clear: God is good and the devil is bad. It sounds like a very simple preposition, but there is not a single one of us who have not thought at least once, that God was punishing us when something bad happened to us. We are living in a day when the line between good and evil is so blurry, that we need to return to the basics in order to understand what is going on all around us. Matthew 6:9 “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven…” Simplicity is the key that keeps us from getting confused: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The word father means originator. God is our Father in heaven from whom all good things originate. John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Jesus uses the word resources to identify that which flows out of, and originates from the word father. That is why it's so critical that we understand that only God is good, and that He is the source of all good. And that the devil is the father of all lies, and the source of all evil. Mark 10:18 “So Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is God.’” The Jews of Jesus’ day knew the basic principle that only God is good, so when a man came and knelt before Jesus and called Him a good teacher, Jesus responded by saying to him, Are you calling Me God? Of course, the man witnesses the good works that Jesus was doing, so he called Him good. But Jesus wanted to make sure that His disciples understood this principle: that only God is the source of all good. We know that Jesus is the Son of God, so He is good also. It is only when we are able to identify who the sender is from the resources he is bringing, that we will be able to discern the difference between the work of God and the work of the devil. Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits…” So far everything sounds very simple but is critical that we get the basics of this spiritual principal, that is, if we want to be able to discern the truth and keep ourselves from being trapped by the end-time deception that we are warned about—is coming— in the Word of God. Here is what I am talking about! Psalm 86:7 “In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.” How can we know that God will deliver us when we call on Him, if deep within our heart we blame Him for our troubles? Although there is a personal application here, our focus in this lesson is about the soon return of Jesus to take us home. In our opening text we are told: Abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. This is a reference to those who will call upon the Lord during the shaking of the heavens and the earth, as our Lord returns. Acts 2:20-21 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” I often ask this question of my readers, In the midst of the sun turning into darkness and the moon turning red as blood, would you see Jesus coming to save you or to judge you? The answer depends on whether we see God as good and the only good, or whether we have doubts about His love and commitment toward us. In a time of crises our initial response is a reactive one. And it will reflect that which we firmly believe deep within our hearts. Do we run from or towards? If deep within our hearts we believe that Jesus is coming to rescue us, no matter how great the chaos all around us is, the more diligence we will employ in calling to Him, for we know that He is: Abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. But if we are not sure, our instincts will betray us, since His love and His goodness has not been perfected in us yet. 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” How do we get to the place where His perfect love casts out all my fears? For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive. In order to personally know that God is good, we need to know deep within our hearts that He has completely forgiven us all of our sins. No sin, no judgment, no torment, right? Jesus came to give us life, and abundant life! The devil does not come, except, to steal, to kill, and to destroy. If no evil resource can come from our Father who is in heaven, and if no goodness can come from the father of lies and murder, is there a way to know the difference between when I am being disciplined by God and when I am being attacked by the enemy? Psalm 86:11 “Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite (singleness of heart) my heart to fear Your name.” Salvation gives us access to our Father in Heaven, who gives us His Holy Spirit, in order for us to learn how to walk in His ways. His ways are simple, God is good and He wants to do good to us. Jeremiah 29:11-12 “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Calling upon God and knowing that He will hear us, is based on our belief of this fact, that God wants to do us good and not harm. 1 John 5:14 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” What is His will for us? Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. All that is left is for us to unite our hearts to fear His name. How do we do that? We make a conscious choice to receive the things of God’s kingdom, and to reject the things of this world system. 2 Corinthians 4:4 “Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” Since we all got saved out of this world system, we were all once blinded by the god of this age and mired in its corruption. Both our souls and our spirits make up the heart that needs to be united. Our spirit man was reborn the day that we got saved, and bears witness from the Spirit of God, that we have been delivered from fear of the torment of God’s final judgment. Our souls are still in the process of salvation, and will continue on that process until we die or the Lord returns to take us home. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation (unification of soul and spirit) of your souls.” The idea is that our souls—which are still connected to our human senses—are so interwoven with our spirit-man, that when it perceives fear from the world around it, instead of fret, they turn to the rest in which our spirit-man resides, which is in the Holy Spirit who continuously reminds it of God’s faithfulness to His promises. Psalm 86:2 “Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You!” Notice how the spirit-man intercedes for the soul to which is firmly united: Preserve my life (soul), for I am (the spirit-man is) holy. What is it that connects the two? Save Your servant who trusts in You! Trust in the Word of God, in the goodness of God, and in the good promises of God to us. If the Lord returns this year, and according to Scripture before He appears, the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, how will you react to the coming cataclysm? How you react will depend on whether you have a united or divided heart when He returns. As long as it is called today, you can still do something about it. I hope this lesson helps you make the right choice. Hebrews 4:7 “Again He designates a certain day, saying in David, ‘Today,’ after such a long time, as it has been said: ‘Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.’” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
- SPIRITUAL HEALING | HoFM
House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on when your Spirit needs healing. Top of Page SPIRITUAL HEALING 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “Now the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The human body is made of three distinct parts; spirit, soul, and body. One physical unit with two spiritual components, the most important of the three is the spirit. If the spirit-man, as I call it, is sick or weak, everything else will be affected by it. As a matter of fact, there can be no true healing for the soul (mind) or for the physical body, unless and until the spirit-man becomes born again. But even born-again spirits can falter under the pressures of this worldly corrupt system of which we are part of. Proverbs 18:14 “The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? In other words, if the spirit-man is broken we are in real trouble. In this lesson I want to deal with the functions and conditions of the spirit-man and try to figure, from Scripture, how to bring spiritual healing to those who might be having problems with their spiritual condition. How do we Christians know if we need spiritual healing? 1 Corinthians 6:20 “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” If we are experiencing problems worshiping, or glorifying God, in spite of our circumstances, we probably have a spiritual malady that needs to be remedied. A healthy spirit-man is impervious to physically induced trials, for the spirit-man is not sustained by physical means. John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The spirit-man’s sustenance comes via the truth, Jesus is the Truth, and Jesus said in: John 6:63 “...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (for the spirit-man).” When a Christian is struggling in his spiritual relationship with God, meaning he/she is having trouble worshiping God in spirit, is due to the lack of truth within the spirit-man. For a healthy spirit-man is not troubled by physical circumstances, but rather, it rejoices in tribulations, and it grows stronger every time it takes on the lies of this world. If a healthy dose of God’s truth can make the spirit-man strong and able to thrive in this corrupt world environment, then the opposite is true as well, a lying spirit, uttering lying words, can make the spirit-man sick if the spirit-man indulges in the lies that its being offered. Malachi 2:15-16 “...Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth...Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.” Twice in consecutive verses God gives a stern warning to the people of Malachi’s days, concerning the condition of their spirit-man, take heed to your spirit, God told them twice. Within the context God is dealing with them about divorce, which God hates, and the truth of the laws concerning the putting away of one’s wife. Because they had perverted God’s laws to their own advantage, that is what dealing treacherously means, God is saying to them, watch out for the well being of your spirit-man for you are in violation of the truth of the Word of God. Ezekiel 21:7 “...Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass…” In the above passage God is telling the people of Israel that because of their abominations, He is going to judge them severely. But I want you to look at the progression of how the spirit-man becomes weak and faint; It begins with these words: because of the news of that which was about to happen to them, fear originated in their hearts and then it manifested itself in the body with their hands becoming feeble and their knees weak. Now let us turn that around, if our spirit-man is weak and feeble because of the fears that we have been entertaining, what happens if we introduce our spirit-man to the good news and precious promises found in the truth of God’s Word. Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons (your spirit-man is born again), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son (in the spirit-man), and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” We are no longer slaves to fear, fear of the slander of the enemy, for God’s perfect love that has been shed abroad in our hearts casts out all fear. There is no reason for us to fret about our present condition, or about the future, be it our future, our children’s future, our families future, our nation’s future. There will be tribulations that we will face, but they will only make our spirits stronger, for that confirms the Word of God in which we are feeding. A healthy spirit is a strong spirit. Ezekiel 36:25-27 “Then I will sprinkle clean water (the truth of God’s Word) on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit (born-again spirit) within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Spiritual healing begins when we drink into our spirit-man the clean water of the Word of God, renounce the filth and idolatries of this lie-infested world system, and put on the new man, the spirit-man that is created in the image of Jesus. Colossians 3:9-10 “Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old (spirit-man) man with his deeds, and have put on the new (spirit-man) man who is renewed in knowledge (of the Word of God) according to the image of Him who created him.” More Teachings Found Here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings
