House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) is an online ministry providing Holy Spirit revelation of the Word of God. Top of Page Our beloved and beautiful Victoria Lee Marrero, wife of Pastor Marcos for 56 years has gone home to be with The Lord on February 6, 2025. She is well loved and will be missed. Obituary information for Victoria Lee Marrero Mission Statement To live the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a manner that: Death to the things of this world in our lives will be obvious to all, while we proclaim the life of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world; Beginning with the very corners of our world. Purpose To be found worthy of His calling at His soon return. Motto For He that promised is faithful. Luke 18:8 Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Greetings in the name of Jesus our redeemer. My name is Marcos Marrero, and this is what I believe: I believe that we ought to always thank God for sending Jesus, his only begotten Son to die for our sins. I believe that we ought to praise God always, for He did not leave his only begotten Son hanging on the cross or inside the grave. We ought to worship Him! The creator of the heavens and the earth, who raised Jesus from the dead, and has given Him a name that is above every name. Philippians 2:9-11 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." It is my intention for this web page to make this proclamation: The Word of God is the only TRUTH! Jesus, the messiah of Israel is the revelation of God's TRUTH! The Holy Spirit sanctifies every human who believes the TRUTH, as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 2:13-14 "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." I boldly proclaim that the same Jesus that was taken up to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth. Will soon return to this earth to set up His kingdom. I boldly proclaim that this same Jesus will judge both the living and the dead. Those who believe God's TRUTH as presented in the gospel of Jesus Christ will be rewarded with the crown of life, and will forever be with the Lord. But those who reject the TRUTH of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be dammed for eternity. II Thessalonians 2:12 "That they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." I also believe that God will hold every believer accountable who does not strive to have the work of faith with power in their lives. II Thessalonians 1:11 "Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power." It is the demonstration of God's power through faith in the TRUTH of the Word of God, that will convict sinners of their error and cause them to cry out for our God's salvation. Luke 5:8 "When Simon Peter saw it, (the demonstration of God's miracle working power) he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying 'depart from me for I am a sinful man, O Lord!'" It is my desire to present to you in this web page the gospel of Jesus Christ in its true form. Free from the contamination of human fallacies. Knowing, even as I am writing this, that Jesus will hold me accountable for everything that I will be teaching here. James 3:1 "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly." Lord Jesus! I dedicate this web page to you. I pray for your anointing and guidance. Let those who read its contents be led by your precious Holy Spirit to receive the promises of your abundant life. Amen.

  • SPIRITUAL FRUIT | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness), self-control. Top of Page SPIRITUAL FRUIT Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness), self-control. Against such there is no law.” The word fruit is singular, meaning that these nine qualities can only be produced by a person who has had the love of God shed-abroad on their hearts at the moment of their spiritual birth, in other words, unbelievers do not have the capacity to produce spiritual fruit, since they are not born again, or born of the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:24-25 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit (if we are born again, or born of the Spirit), let us also walk in the Spirit.” What Paul is trying to teach us here is that we have a unique opportunity, as believers, to take advantage of the deliverance that our salvation has made available to all who believe. In the previous lesson (deliverance is for life, in the deliverance archives) I made the point that Jesus not only forgives us our sins when we confess them before Him in true repentance, but that Jesus is not only just, but able as well, to cleanse us, that is, to deliver us from the consequences of the sins that He forgives us when we truly repent. 1 John 1:9 So that Paul is making the case to the Galatians, that since the Spirit of God’s love abides in them, for without God’s Spirit they could not be saved, why don’t they just continue to follow the spiritual path of love that will eventually lead them to a victorious walk of self-control, which is the goal of the Christian path, that is to overcome our selfish ambitions. Philippians 2:3-4 “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interest of others.” A self-centered person can never truly be delivered, for the Christian battle is always between the spirit of Selfish-Ambitions and the spirit of Self-Control, and a self-centered person can never walk in self-control, for everything in this world is designed to entice the spirit of selfishness that we were all born within our human nature, away from God’s counsel that will lead us into the path of self-control. 1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” The key phrase here is, the love of the Father, spiritual fruit emanates from the love of the Father, without the love of the Father there is no spiritual fruit, and love for the things of this world will keep us from being delivered from the spirit of Selfish-Ambitions. 1 Peter 1:9 “Receiving the end (goal) of your faith—the salvation (deliverance) of your souls.” The goal of our Christian walk is that of living by the power of the spiritual fruit of Self-Control, for against such there is no law, in other words, there can be no condemnation against us when we are led by the Spirit of God’s love. But remember what Paul said, if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit, meaning that not all who are born again, that is, they live in the Spirit, are able to walk in the Spirit as well, for they are bound by strongholds that keeps them from walking in the freedom that Jesus has destined for them. What is it that keeps Christians from walking in the freedom of self-control that Jesus has already purchased for them? Jonah 2:8 “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy.” Jonah 2:8 “Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” NIV Remember that it was Jonah who did not want to go and preach to the city of Nineveh that if they repented, God would forgive them, and because of his rebellion against the will of God, he was taken into the belly of hell itself where he almost perished. Why did he rebelled? Jonah 4:2 “So he prayed to the Lord, and said, ‘Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.’” Jonah refused to preach to his enemies because he did not want them to be spared the judgment that they had coming. Knowing that God is merciful, Jonah feared that if he preached to them and they repented, that God would forgive them, as He did. Jonah’s selfish desires got the best of him, for he rather see his enemies perish than forgiven, and it almost cost him his own soul, so that he understood about forfeiting the grace that he had with God. Jesus taught the same principle to us in a parable, so that we understand the dangers of walking in our own selfish interests. Matthew 18:33-35 “Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you? And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers (tormentors) until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.” If we are to fully understand about love and forgiveness, and deliverance and restoration, we have to view them from a spiritual perspective, rather than from our physical perch, and that is because there are demonic forces involved with all of these. The torturers, or tormentors, are the demonic entities that are in place, and they are ready to go, in a moments notice, after those who stray from the path that God has ordained for them to walk in. While in the world, many of us fell prey to their trickery and paid for our sins and mistakes with the loss of something that was near and dear to us, for the wages of sin is death, and many of us became bound to their strongholds that kept us repeating the same sins over and over again. But when we got saved, Jesus delivered us from the path of waywardness and set our feet on the solid foundation of His Word, and put us under His protection and covering. But the deliverance from the strongholds that still remained after our salvation, can only be obtained by the power of His love with which He loved us, working in us and through us, and manifested to others in a way that makes it clear to all the demonic hosts that we understand God’s mercy and His great love and compassion for all humankind. 1 John 4:18-20 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us (we understand His love for us so that we are able to love Him back, and are able to love others as He loves them). If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” As we learn not to take the offenses that come our way personally, and make it a habit of praying for our enemies and for those whom the Lord places in our path that keep failing others and ourselves, we become spiritual light bearers on behalf of those who are out in no man’s land. Our prayers for them becomes a temporary covering, like the one that God provided for the prophet Jonah as He was dealing with Jonah’s rebellion, that way, the demonic tormentors are limited in what they are able to do against those we are praying for, and when the Lord knows that they are ready, He will remove the temporary covering that He placed over them through our ministry of intercession and reveal to them His love for them and the way of their salvation. Jonah 4:6-11 “And the Lord God prepared a plant and made it come up over Jonah (a temporary spiritual covering), that it might be shade for his head to deliver him from his misery. So Jonah was very grateful for the plant. But as morning dawned the next day God prepared a worm, and it so damaged the plant that it withered. And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, ‘It is better for me to die than to live.’ Then God said to Jonah, ‘Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?’ And he said, ‘It is right for me to be angry, even to death!’ But the Lord said, ‘You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?’” Jonah had such a tremendous stronghold of hatred towards the people of Nineveh that he was angry enough to die for a plant that offered him a temporary covering, while he waited to see if God would destroy the city that he hated and did not want to see delivered. The fact that God uses the number one hundred and twenty thousand, connects it to the church age, for there were about one hundred and twenty disciples gathered together in one accord when the Holy Spirit fell on them. Is there a hidden lesson here for the church of Jesus Christ? Let us keep it personal; is there a hatred so deep within you against someone or something, that you are willing to forfeit the grace that you have in Jesus just to get revenge? I pray not! But if you have a stronghold of prejudice in your life against someone who has hurt you, you need to bear it no more, ask the Lord to deliver you, pray for His revelation to show you the spiritual condition of those who betrayed your trust, and know for a fact that all your trespasses He has gladly forgiven you. If you cannot find the capacity within you to love and to forgive those who spitefully used you and abused you, I have good news for you, He will give you a new heart, just let the old one go. Get on the floor, with your face pressed hard against it, and picture yourself at the feet of Jesus, and there cry out to Him; Lord! Have mercy on this lost and broken sinner, and there at the foot of the cross, leave that old broken and hardened heart once and for all, and before you get up you will be renewed, for He is a merciful God, and He will not turn you away. To be sure, you will not be the first nor will you be the last to be delivered by the power of an all loving and merciful God. Jonah 2:2 “...I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol (hell) I cried, and You heard my voice.” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE DUALITY OF LIFE | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life... Top of Page THE DUALITY OF LIFE Revelation 22:14-15 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” The one thing about life is that your are either in or you are out. When the final judgment day comes it will be the same, you are either in or you are out. What decides as to whether one makes it in or out depends on what we believe. Those who believe the Word of God and try to live by its precepts will have the right to enter into the celestial city, however those who choose not to believe what the Word of God says will be left out. Faith is what casts the final vote, for even atheists believe, for they have faith in their belief that there is no God. Everyone that chooses not to believe in the Word of God practices a lie, and by their own actions they keep themselves out of the celestial city. After all I bet that you never heard of a person that wants to travel to a city that they do not believe it really exists. Revelation 22:6 “Then he said to me, ‘These words (and the fulfillment of these prophetic words) are faithful and true.’ And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.” So that it is the words that are written in the Bible and their prophetic fulfillment that we are required to believe in if we want to enter into His eternal abode; for failure to do so will keep us out forever. Revelation 22:7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” A person that is allowed to enter through the pearly gates into the celestial city is in deed truly blessed! What is it that draws people to believe what the Bible teaches? Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Three things are listed that progressively will lead a person to take the water of life freely, which is to have faith in the Word of God. You have to have ears to hear the invitation of the Spirit and the bride. A person who is not thirsty does not look for a drink, for there is no desire, no thirst within him. Such a person does not hear the call until there is a need. Jesus told us that in this world we would have tribulations. For as it turns out, it is mostly when we are having problems or are in a desperate need that we try to reach out and hear from God; and that is God’s desire for us, that we turn to Him even if it is only when we are in need. However, once we hear Him, His desire is that we progress into thirsting for eternal things rather than the temporal things that we usually crave. As we begin to read and study the Word of God, the emphasis for our life will begin to change from that of temporal things to eternal things. Once our desires are changed, the things that we thirst for will also change, but none of that can happen until we hear from the Word of God. Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” This is why we preach and teach the Word of God, so that when there is a need in your life that the world cannot cure, and remember that the world’s cure is always worse than the disease itself. You would turn to Him who is able to satisfy you with His living waters, that once you partake of, you will never thirst again for they are eternal. In the list of those who are kept out we see a progression as well: Revelation 22:15 “But outside are dogs (unbelievers) and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” It all begins, or should I say begin and end, with a lie, which is the absence of the truth, for those who refuse to hear the Word of God. God is truth. His Word is truth. A man’s refusal to believe in the truth makes that man a liar, and a person that is a liar is an idolater. For that person refuses to believe in the truth, or in what is real, and the purpose of believing that which is not truth or real is a delusion. Zechariah 10:2 “For the idols speak delusion; the diviners envision lies and tell false dreams…” Idolaters are void of the truth of God’s love and the opposite of love is hate; hate that leads to the murdering of those who believe in the truth. John 8:43-44 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Sexual immorality is the physical representation of idolatry, which is the lusting after the things that are not really real. Things that do not offer real satisfaction, for the lusting after them is based on diluted reasoning. 1 Corinthians 10:8 “Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.” Sorcerers traffic in the trade of illusions that are manufactured through the manipulation of the human senses by external as well as internal means, as in drug abuse. Sensuality goes hand in hand with sexual immorality or in other words, the allure that they both offer is an illusion that will never truly satisfy the thirsty soul. So that none of those lying crafts or those who continue to practice them will make it into the heavenly New Jerusalem, for God will judge them. Jesus told us that it all began with them not being able to hear, for had they been able to listen to His Word, their desires would have been transformed into godly desires as the Word of God judged them internally by exposing the desires of their hearts that were based on a lie, and they would have thirsted for that which is real and satisfying instead, which is the truth of God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 “For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person.” Those who can clearly hear the Word of God will develop a thirst for it, and those who thirst after the Word of God will have all their desires totally satisfied, as it is written: Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely! So which side of life do you want to be on? Do you want to be in the inside of life, or on the outside of life? How you regard the Holy Scriptures will determine which side of life you end up with! The devil, the world, the secular media, secular humanists, godless politicians, godless professors, the supreme court, and everybody else that they can get to ride their omnibus, will try to persuade you not to listen or prohibit you from listening and adhering to the Word of God and to its life giving principles. The irony is that you truly have a choice, choose life! More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • BINDING AND LOOSING | HoFM House of Faith Ministries

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Top of Page BINDING AND LOOSING Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Say what you will, but Jesus is clearly talking about the awesome power that He has given to everyone that believes in Him. What is this power, and how does it work? First we need to understand that this power is a spiritual power that transcends all physical limitations—that is the good news, the bad news is that since the nature of this power is spiritual, those who are carnally minded have no clue as to how it is to be implemented. Understanding how this power works, and how to implement it, will radically change the lives of every believer that masters the how-to of this awesome gift from God. Since the source of this power is spiritual, we need to have a working understanding of how spiritual energy is released. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (giving energy).” The source of all life giving energy is in the Word of God. Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and powerful (energy)…” The first rule of binding and loosing is that words must be spoken which are in agreement with the Word of God. A different rendering of our opening text is this: Whatever you bind on earth having been bound in heaven. This is the translation that many scholars of the original Greek believe is more accurate for this text. And it makes more sense, since we are called to enforce the Word of God here on this earth, and we know from Scripture that the Word of God is forever settled in heaven. So that whatever has already been settled in heaven is the very thing that we are to declare here on this earth. Which brings us to the nuts and bolts of this foundational principle. The disciples noticed that Jesus spent a lot of time in prayer and that His prayers were always answered. Which prompted them to ask Jesus to teach them how to pray. Luke 11:2 “So He said to them, ‘When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The key to binding and loosing is in knowing what God’s will is in whatever situation we are praying for. For example, we know that God is not willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance. If I am praying for someone’s salvation—be it a family member, a friend, or a foe—I can bind the spirit of unbelief that is hindering them from receiving the revelation knowledge that will bring them to God’s salvation. No body gets saved unless a believer is praying for them, but not everybody that is being prayed for gets saved, because of their unbelief. That is where binding the spirit of unbelief can make all the difference. When we pray for someone’s salvation, we are loosing the conviction of God’s Spirit over them so that they will realize that they have a need to be saved. But some people have been bound by an unbelieving spirit that does not allowed them to see their need. After we bind the spirit of unbelief that has them bound, they will be free to believe. If you have a love one, or even an enemy, for whose salvation you’ve prayed and nothing has happened yet, add to your prayer for their salvation this prayer for binding the spirit of unbelief over them: Pray this out loud: I bind, in the name of Jesus, the spirit of unbelief that is preventing (name the person that your are praying for) from receiving the conviction of the Holy Spirit that will allowed him/her to be saved. If God was willing to violate the free will that He has given to all mankind, we would not have to bind or loose anything. The devil is the deceiver—who comes in unawares—and steals man’s ability to receive God’s salvation by binding them with unclean spirits. But to those who have accepted the Word of Truth, power has been given to demolish all these demonic strongholds that keep people bound. Matthew 18:19-20 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” The second rule of binding and loosing, is in the power of agreement, not just with the Word that is forever settled in heaven, but with one another who are like-minded in our beliefs as well. When we speak in agreement with the Word of God in heaven, we are enabled to bind and to loose things here on earth. But when we add the power of agreement with one another, Jesus is in our midst. John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” It is obvious that the devil’s influence affects the masses as well as the individuals. So that as individuals we can pray binding and loosing over those who are within our sphere of influence, but as members of the church we can corporally pray for entire communities and even nations. How does it all works? Everything that God made, He made through the power of His spoken Word. Everything that exists today, it is maintained and sustained by the power of His spoken Word. Unlike animals, we humans were created with the ability to reason and to believe on that which is literal and which can be propagated through the spoken word. 2 Corinthians 4:13 “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak.” When we speak by faith in accordance with the written Word of God, we release the energy that is both able to restrain and to let go that which has already been settled in heaven according to the Word of God. First we need to know the written Word that applies to our circumstance, then we need to speak that Word that is in agreement with the heavenly testimony—by faith believing that as we do so—the energy needed to transform our circumstance has been properly allocated and will accomplish the task for which we sent it out. Isaiah 55:11 “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth: It shall not return to Me void, but is shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Notice how God is referring to the Word that goes forth from His mouth, that which He spoke; and also that sometimes it requires a process to take place before that which He spoke comes to pass, since prosperity is a process that sometimes takes time. When we by faith bind or loose anything in accordance with the Word of God, we need to rest in the fact that the energy has already been released and the process started, that will eventually bring about the desire results. Remember that we are dealing with spiritual entities when we are binding and loosing. Angels as well as demons are spiritual creatures whose none-physical bodies are made of energy and respond to the energy that governs them, which is the Word of God, and to those who by faith speak it. Jude 9 “Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’” Remember that it was through the Word, that God created everything that exists, be it physical or spiritual. So that everything must submit to the power of the Word of God, which resides in our Lord Jesus Christ.” John 16:24 “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy maybe full.” So that when we bind and we loose in the name of Jesus—by faith in His written Word—we are enforcing His Word over our physical realm, by exercising the dominion that Adam lost, but which Jesus has restored to us in His name, in this present age. The third rule of binding and losing has to do with us walking in the freedom that the forgiveness of our Lord has brought into our lives. Matthew 18:27 “Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.” Notice that at the point of salvation—delivered from a debt that we could not possibly pay—we were released, and enabled to release others that were in debt to us as well. Failure to release those who are indebted to us, puts us back into a place of bondage, powerless to free ourselves or others. Matthew 18:33-35 “Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you? And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.” Notice how our Lord brings it down to the very personal level of if each of you fail to do this. Let’s examine this closer, why does the penalty seem so harsh for one single violation of this principle? Remember that we are dealing with spiritual power that is given to us in order to restrain spiritual entities, it can in no way be used against or to control human people, but the demons that drive them. At the point of our salvation, the Lord forgave us all our trespasses and released us from all our sins. Then He gave us His name and the authority to bind and to loose spiritual entities on behalf of those who are still bound by the enemy. If we are not willing to forgive those who sinned against us, then we are still in the flesh, and not in the spirit. We have authority over nothing. Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes (through binding and loosing), in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” Let us come in full agreement with the Word of God, let us speak by faith the word that binds the spirits and that looses the hindering darkness, and by all means make sure that we hold nothing against our humankind. • TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents the mystery of the cycles of 26 that are found within time and space. Top of Page TWENTY SIX HUNDRED EVENINGS AND MORNINGS In this section I am going to try to explain the mystery of the cycles of 26 that are found within time and space. The Mayan calendar is based on the earth’s 26,000 year cycle, there is a claim that every 26,000,000 years the earth goes through some kind of catastrophic event, and I know that there is a 2,600 days cycle that has to take place before we enter into the millennium (1,000 years of rest) era, according to the book of Revelation (Read the details in my book Man’s Final Destiny www.houseoffaithministries.org . Books section). I was astounded when I put together the numbers that correspond to time and space and the fruit of them and added them together, to find out, that we were short of 1,000 by the number 26. Therefore, I believe that time and space will come together when their fruit is completed, in a cosmic conjunction in the near future and start the 2,600 days countdown that will lead us into the 1,000 years Day of Rest. I will start by laying the foundation of what I believe the Bible teaches is how our present time and space began, where it came from and how it will end. In the chart below I show what I call Infinity Time as a river without beginning or end, an endless flow that is infinite of course. That is the dwelling place of God. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change.” James 1:17-18 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. According to Einstein’s mathematics, within this infinite flow it is possible for time-warps (cycles of time, or a wheel within a wheel of time) to occur which I show in the chart as Eternity Time. It originates out of infinity, it is caused by the voice/word of the Father of the Heavenly Lights, and when the cycle is completed it dissolves back again into the infinity it came from, but it brings back with it a kind of Firstfruits, a brand new product that did not exist before. Just like a swift swirl in the water draws into itself and swallows as if it were, whatever falls within its circle of influence, so it is with eternity time. We can see this cyclical action repeated endlessly in the galaxies within the universe. In the next chart I show the interaction between the material physical dimension that we are part of, and the invisible (without substance) spiritual dimension. Their interaction determines the laws by which creatures are drawn into this cycle of time and are eventually accepted or rejected into the river of infinity. We begin with the present, what we are today is a direct result of the past, that’s the spiritual law of sowing and reaping, and our actions today will influence greatly what we will be in the future, but always within God’s permissive will which is connected with God’s spiritual destiny, be it for an individual, a nation or the cosmos itself. The past originated out of infinity and will end in the future when this present cycle of eternity comes to a close and it merges back into infinity. Another way to see it in a less personal form is in the next chart. Our present time flowed out of infinity, is a three dimensional cycle of time called eternity and flows back into infinity again. It creates within its interactions a past and a future in accordance with God’s destiny (His purpose for creating this vortex of time to begin with). Now to the numbers: Most agree that our present time began with a flash point, some call it the big bang, the Bible says that it began with God’s saying: “Let there be light.” In both cases our present time and space began with a flash of light. As we read in James, the Everlasting Father of Lights spoke the Word of Truth and brought forth a physical dimension for His firstfruits creatures to dwell in. In the next chart the flash point is represented as the center of the vortex, the beginning of time and space. In Genesis God divides time into six days of work (product) and one day of rest. Moses the writer of Genesis tells us in Psalm 90 that a day is like a thousand years to God. I believe that an hour represents one generation within those thousand years. Genesis 2:4 “These are the generations of the heavens (space) and of the earth (time) when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made (Spoke: Let there be light [flash point]) the earth and the heavens (space-time).” Italics mine So the number for Time is the number Six: six work days in a week, Sixty minutes in an hour, and since in Eternity Time there is an imbalance between the future and the past: the vortex rotates forward (future) faster that backwards (past), it creates a force we call torque or gravity. The number for this force called Universal Gravity is 6.67. Meaning that we are .33 short from this vortex of time and space becoming stable (entering into rest = 7). This will happen after the cycle of 26 is completed. The number for Space is the number Ten: Actually the number One with as many zeros added to it as long as it continues. I used the number Ten because that’s how many individual numbers there are. The number for Space is also the number that the speed of light travels: 186,400 miles per second. What connects Time and Space together is that: One (1) day has 86,400 seconds. The number for the Product is the number: 144, because there are one hundred and forty four generations in six thousand years of time and space. 144 hours contain 8,640 minutes, which connects the product to time and space. In Revelation chapter seven, after the opening of the sixth seal, we see this conjunction take place as 144,000 are sealed unto the Lord from the twelve tribes of Israel and a great multitude which no one could number is standing before the throne of God. That signals the beginning of the 2,600 days cycle that will usher humanity and the cosmos into the Day of Rest. Time: 667+ Space: 186.4 + Product: 144 = 997.4 + 2.6 = 1000 Day of Rest. Isaiah 34:8 “For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion.” 1 Year = 52 weeks times Jubilee 50 = 2,600 weeks. One seven year period has 2,555 days: 365 X 7 = 2,555. It will begin with the Two Witnesses prophesying for 1,260 days, the Antichrist will kill the Two Witnesses and let their bodies lie in the street for three- and one-half days, after which they will come back to life and are taken up to heaven. At that time the Jews that remain will flee to the mountains and as they do so time will stop. When evening comes the sun will not set until those fleeing enters into their place of refuge. Five evenings and mornings will be completed before the Antichrist begins his reign of 1,290 days. The Two Witnesses prophesy for 1,260 + 5 + 1,290 = 2,555 days. According to Daniel God adds 45 days for His final judgment which then will complete the 2,600 days cycle: 2,555 + 45 = 2,600 days. At the end of the 2,600 days Jesus will commence His One Thousand Years Reign. Time and Space will be in harmony during His Reign. All dark matter will be removed before His Reign begins. All the negative forces which are at work today causing havoc and chaos will be locked away, and the vortex of time and space will stabilize and the sorting out of the product that has been brought in during the season of work will be finalized. At the end of the thousand years the final judgment will take place and Eternity Time will be swallowed by Infinity. 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’” More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • A TEACHABLE SPIRIT | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) teaches that a teachable spirit begins with the acknowledgement that God is God, and that besides Him there is no other, and that His counsel is the right counsel whether or not it makes sense to us in the natural. Top of Page A TEACHABLE SPIRIT Psalm 143:10 “Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.” In our natural state it is hard for us humans to submit to another person, be it their counsel, their teaching, or their way of thinking, after all, in order for us to become our own person we have to differ somehow. Imagine how much harder it is to submit in the spirit to the Spirit of God, something which is foreign to our natural way of thinking. Our opening text reveals three things which are needed before we are ready to submit our spirits to be taught by the Lord to do His will. You are my God! Your Spirit is good! Lead me in the land of uprightness! When we say to the Lord, You are my God, is not like us saying to our medical doctor, you are my Doctor, or to our lawyer, you are my lawyer, for we can always get a new doctor or a new lawyer if we do not like what they tell us to do. When we say to the Lord, you are my God, His answer to us is, then why don’t you do what I tell you to do, is not like we can go and get another God, although some religious people think that way. Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say?” So that a teachable spirit begins with the acknowledgement that God is God, and that besides Him there is no other, and that His counsel is the right counsel whether or not it makes sense to us in the natural. If we are not willing to accept Him as God Supreme, and His teaching and counsel for our lives as the final word, then we can say, Lord, Lord, with our mouths all we want to, we just deceive ourselves and His truth is not in us, for He will not accept us until we accept Him as our God in all His fullness. John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’” We do not get partially saved when we get saved, God does not hold anything back when we get saved, Jesus tells us that both He and the Father will come into us, to live in us, when we love Him and call Him Lord and keep His Word. Psalm 143:2 “...For in Your sight no one living is righteous.” None of us are perfect, so that we do not perfectly keep His Word all the time, but the idea is that even when we fail Him because of our weaknesses, we still recognize and acknowledge that His Word is Truth, and that His plan for our lives is best, even when we are unable to live up to the standards that He sets for us, and that is what makes us teachable, for we do not give up, we just keep trying to get it right. By our actions we acknowledge that Your Spirit is good, and that if we try to follow the pattern that His Word spells out for our lives, we will eventually learn how to abide in His will for us no matter what. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” This will probably be the hardest thing for us to master, total and complete reliance on His Word and the promises that are contained in it. In this we will all be tested, for it is critical for our spirits to learn to rely solely in the promises that are contained in His Word for us. Psalm 143:3-4 “For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has crushed my life to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness, like those who have long been dead. Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is distressed.” Listen to the words of David during his time of testing, he feels like his soul has been crushed and that his spirit is overwhelmed by all the distressed that he was confronted with. But because of his love for God and his communion with the Word of God, he was able to call to the God of His love and rely in God’s promises to him. Psalm 143:7-9 “Answer me speedily, O Lord; my spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; in You I take shelter.” Notice how David did not blame God in the middle of all his trials, instead of running away from God, he turned to his God, in verse one he says: Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! There is no doubt that David was at the end of his rope, for he said, answer speedily Lord for my spirit fails me. But notice how he learned during his trials to rely on God’s promises to him. Cause me to hear, cause me to know; since his relationship with God was based on the fact that God loved him, he cried out for God’s lovingkindness to be revealed to him afresh in the midst of his trials, and then he said, cause me to know the way in which I should walk, basically he had learned the lesson that the trials that came his way were teaching him, spirit, soul, and body, for he said, in You I take shelter. Lead me in the land of uprightness! The third thing that we need to recognize before we can learn how to do the will of God, is that there is the right way, and there is the other way, which always leads to death and destruction. We naturally do not recognize the other way until we walked in it for a while and get deep in, and if we trust God’s love and compassion for us enough, to call on Him in the midst of our circumstances that were brought about by our rebellion to His Word and destiny for us, then it becomes a teachable moment for us when He delivers us. Psalm 143:11 “Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.” If we have truly made God our God and have a sincere desire to learn how to walk in His will for our lives, and we submit ourselves to the trials that are needed for us to learn how to trust Him, then His reputation is at stake, for His own name’s sake He will deliver us if we do not give up and quit. The hardest thing for a true believer to learn is this: What is God’s ultimate will and purpose for my life? I remember when I was young in the Lord, how I used to get so frustrated, I remember saying to God, how can I be what You want me to be if you do not tell me what it is that You want me to be? I had to learn to be whatever it was that I was needed to be wherever it was that God placed me. On June 2, 2013, my wife and I celebrated thirty-seven years of service to our Precious Lord, for we both got saved together at the same time and committed ourselves to serve Him for the rest of our lives. Have I learned what my calling is after thirty-seven years? Let me give you a hint, you can find it at the end of our last verse of Scripture. Psalm 143:12 “In Your mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I am Your servant.” I believe that there is no greater honor that can be bestowed upon a believer of the Living God, than that of being called a servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! David might have been many things, and indeed accomplished many things for God’s kingdom, but when he found himself in the thick of trials and temptations, the only title that he claimed for himself was: For I am Your servant! Let us all become like David, true servants of the Living God. More teachings found here: Deliverance Ministry End Times Teachings Other Teachings

  • THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) explains that the word mystery appears in the King James version of the Bible twenty two times, and five times in plural, mysteries, all twenty seven times in the New Testament, the word mystery or mysteries does not appear in the Old Testament in the King James version of the Bible. Top of Page THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD Mark 4:11 “And He said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery (secret or hidden truths) of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables.’” The word mystery appears in the King James version of the Bible twenty-two times, and five times in plural, mysteries, all twenty-seven times in the New Testament, the word mystery or mysteries does not appear in the Old Testament in the King James version of the Bible. The Hebrew alphabet consists of twenty-two letters, and it was believed by many of the Jewish Rabbis of old that God created the entire universe and everything that exists within it, with those twenty-two letters, since God spoke everything into existence. Five of those twenty-two letters in the Hebrew alphabet have what is called a final form, what that means is that whenever one of those five letters appears at the end of a Hebrew word, it changes its form. Psalm 119, for example, was written to give us insight into the meaning of each one of those letters, and to each one of those twenty-two letters in the Hebrew alphabet, eight verses have been dedicated by God in Psalm 119, to reveal the spiritual meaning of each one of those letters; that is why Psalm 119 has 176 verses, 22 X 8 = 176 And in many Bibles, you will see a Hebrew letter heading the eight verses that correspond to that letter in Psalm 119. Psalm 119:137 “Righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments.” צ normal form ץ final form Verse 137 begins to describe the spiritual meaning of the eighteenth letter in the Hebrew alphabet; TSADDE which is one of the five that have a final form, in its normal form this letter looks like a man that is kneeling with his hands together and looking up, and praying to God, in the final form of this same letter, it changes to where it looks like the same man that is praying is now standing before God. The Hebrew letter TSADDE which is the equivalent of our letter R, in the Hebrew alphabet stands for righteousness, that is why verse 137 begins with the words, Righteous are You, O Lord, but if you look at the following words, and upright, it reveals the final form of the letter where the man praying to God is now standing in the upright position. Proverbs 12:7 “...But the house of the righteous will stand.” So that the spiritual meaning that this Hebrew letter conveys is that the righteous who now kneel and pray before God, will one day stand before God in the final day of judgment and give Him glory, for he trusted and loved the Word of God that made him righteous and pure before the Lord, and enabled him to stand before God. Psalm 119:140 “Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it.” So that when we add the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet to the five letters that have final forms it adds up to twenty-seven . There are twenty-seven books in the New Testament where all the twenty-two hidden mystery and five final mysteries are revealed, isn’t that amazing! The first time where the word mystery appears in the KJV Bible, is in our opening text, and it is the only time that Jesus uses it. To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. Mystery = Secret or hidden truths. When Jesus was alone with those who were following Him, His disciples asked Him what was the meaning of the parable that He told everyone publicly, it was then that Jesus revealed to them that they now had the capacity of understanding the secrets or hidden truths that the Word of God came to reveal. What was it that made them different than the rest of the crowd? 1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are (have to be) spiritually discerned.” Since no one can be born again unless he is born of the Spirit of God, those who are not born again cannot know the mysteries that Jesus the Word of God reveals to us, for it is required of us to have the Spirit of God dwelling inside of us in order for us to be able to know and understand these hidden truths that only the Holy Spirit can reveal. Mark 4:12 “So that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.’” One can only become born again by been born of the Spirit of God, so that no one who is not born again is able to understand the mysteries or hidden truths without having the Holy Spirit reveal it to them. But for those of us who believe, access has been granted to us to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but yet, not every believer takes advantage of this privilege that has been granted to us in the New Testament, and we should. Romans 11:25 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery…” How do I acquire insight into these truths that lay hidden within the Word of God? Romans 16:25 “Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began.” The revelation of the mystery begins with the unveiling of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what it does for us who believe. 1 Corinthians 2:7, 10 “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory... But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” Obviously, you can see the potential for edification as we explore the meaning of all these secrets that have now been made available for all of us who believe, and I hope that this lesson will encourage you to search the benefits of knowing the revelation of these mysteries. But for the purpose of this lesson, I just want to deal with the revelation of two of these mysteries, for I believe that knowledge about them is crucial in order for us to gain understanding from God about these hidden truths. The Mystery of Lawlessness. The Mystery of Godliness. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness…” What is the mystery of lawlessness? Romans 7:19-21 “For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law (this law is the mystery of lawlessness), that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.” The mystery of lawlessness resides in this fact: Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” This law of sin and death is many times stronger than the law of gravity and just as persistent, for it never quits and it never gives up. But notice how Paul writes that in the flesh it is impossible to find how to perform the good that we desire to attain. So how do we attain the spiritual revelation that will enable us to do the right things that we should be doing? Let us look at the mystery of godliness again. 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.” Here is revelation; Jesus crucified His sinless flesh to the cross to make a place available for us to crucify our sinful flesh on His cross. Jesus was justified in the Spirit, so that those who crucify their sinful flesh to the cross can be made justified in their spirits, and able to avail themselves of the revelation of this mystery of godliness. Jesus was not only seen by angels, but His atoning sacrifice on the cross reverberated through all the demonic hierarchies reaching to hell itself, so that the power of lawlessness becomes neutered by the precious blood of Jesus that cries out of God’s heavenly temple: Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lamb! He was preached among the Gentiles to proclaim the fact that God is no respecter of persons, for all have sinned, therefore all can be saved by His precious Son’s atoning sacrifice. The world believed in Him, for He is God’s demonstration of love to the world. And He was taken up and received in glory, where He sits at the right hand of the Father, where He forever makes intercession for us, His treasured possessions. So, what do I do the next time that this mystery of lawlessness rises up against my flesh and causes me to feel like our next verse? Romans 7:24 “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? This is what we do, and this is what we say, and this is what we believe: I AM FREE FROM FAILURE! Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I AM FREE FROM WANT! Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” I AM FREE FROM FEAR! 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I AM FREE FROM DOUBT! Romans 12:3 “...As God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” I AM FREE FROM WEAKNESS! Psalm 27:1 “...The Lord is the strength of my life...” I AM FREE FROM THE POWER OF SATAN! 1 John 4:4 “...He who is in you is greater than he that is in the world.” I AM FREE FROM DEFEAT! 2 Corinthians 2:14 “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…” I AM FREE FROM IGNORANCE! 1 Corinthians 1:30 “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” I AM FREE FROM SIN! 1 John 1:7 “...And the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I AM FREE FROM WORRY! 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” I AM FREE FROM BONDAGE! 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” I AM FREE FROM CONDEMNATION! Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” I know that the greatest mystery of all is that God loves us intensely, and why should He not love us, after all He created us for His pleasure. And we bring Him the greatest pleasure when we believe His Word above whatever our situation is. I AM DEAD TO SIN, FOR I AM ALIVE IN JESUS CHRIST! And Heavenly Father, I bless the leaders of the world, dominions, powers, principalities, kingdoms, royalty, kings, queens, princes, princesses, presidents, prime ministers, and the like, with softened hearts to be able to perceive and live by Your Word because even you showed the disciples how hard their hearts were when they didn’t believe when You rose from the dead: Mark 16:14 KJV “14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” I also bless the leaders of the world, dominions, powers, principalities, kingdoms, royalty, kings, queens, princes, princesses, presidents, prime ministers, and the like, with a spirit of reconciliation because that is the ministry You have given us. Let the spirit of God move forth in the hearts of the leadership around the world to forgive and reconcile their areas back to Jesus, the Son of God as Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 KJV “18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” I pray that the leaders of the world, dominions, powers, principalities, kingdoms, royalty, kings, queens, princes, princesses, presidents, prime ministers, and the like are restored into the joy of salvation, and to the paths of righteousness as the following scriptures state: Psalm 23:3 KJV “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” Psalm 51:12 KJV “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” I pray that the fruit of the spirit stated in Galatians 5:22-23 KJV “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” manifests within the hearts of the leaders of the world, dominions, powers, principalities, kingdoms, royalty, kings, queens, princes, princesses, presidents, prime ministers, and the like. I pray that the gifts of the holy spirit stated in 1 Corinthians 12:7-12 KJV “7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” would unite the body of Christ under one leadership, the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God moves through each of us so that we know what to pray, how to pray, when to pray, and praise the living God in all that we do. And gracious Heavenly Father, we praise You as Psalm 150:1-6 KJV says “150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” You are praised because You are. We now walk forward in peace knowing that You and Your angels are moving behind the scenes doing what You need to do to accomplish Your will as Psalm 103:20 KJV says “20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” In the Name of Jesus, the Son of the living God we pray in unity, Amen! • MATURITY VS. INFANCY | HoFM

House of Faith Ministries (HoFM) presents a teaching on 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” Top of Page MATURITY VS. INFANCY 1 Corinthians 3:1 “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.” The difference between a mature person and a childish person can be ascertained by their ability to engage in substantive communication. Paul made the statement to the Corinthian church that he was unable to communicate with them due to their lack of understanding spiritually mature subjects, he simply said to them, trying to talk with you about spiritual issues is like speaking to little children about things that they are unable to comprehend. In the natural all children grow up, that is, eventually they all mature into an adult understanding of the realities of everyday life. However, not all baby Christians mature into an adult understanding of spiritual life, and that is sad. Imagine living your entire adult life with a child’s mindset. The ministry of deliverance is a great tool that the Lord uses to bring baby or carnal Christians into spiritual maturity, for the word deliverance also means liberation, and a person matures as his/her mind is liberated from childish thinking, or foolish thinking, that unfortunately keep many Christians from ever coming into the maturity of the faith. 1 Corinthians 3:2 “I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able.” What is it that keeps so many Christians from growing up spiritually? There are several elements to this problem, the first and the most basic one in my opinion, is the tendency of the church to hold on to its converts, instead of seeing them as seed that they are to scatter abroad. If we look at the church from a business model perspective, the first question that we must ask is this: what is the product that the church was created to produce? Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The goal of the church is to duplicate itself wherever it goes, that means that those who are converted are to be raised up in the expectation that they themselves will grow up to become servants of the call of Jesus for all to go and to make disciples. In the business model some have to stay in the churches that are planted, to mind the store if you will, but always with the expectation that they might be called to convert others and to make disciples out of them, even outside of the realm of influence of their local church. Like in their workplace , or family members that are not part of their local community. The ideal church is one that is raising up mature believers that hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and since the end goal is the same for those who stay as for those who are called to leave, there is no acrimony, for their aim is to go and to make disciples, here or there, or everywhere, it matters not, as long as our goal remains the same; to fulfill the call of Jesus to go and to make disciples of every nation. 1 Corinthians 3:3 “For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?” Envy is always the result of selfishness, and it always brings with it strife and division. The devastating result of selfishness within the church is that it changes the goal for which Jesus established the church. 1 Corinthians 3:4 “For when one says, ‘I am of Paul,’ and another, ‘I am of Apollos,’ are you not carnal?” Once the goal is changed, the product changes as well. If the farmer decides that he is going to keep and eat most of the corn that he harvested, and greatly reduces the amount of seed that he is suppose to scattered abroad, not only the quality of the product is vastly reduced, but the amount that he produces suffers greatly as well. How does that principle of selfishness applies to the church today? Hebrews 5:13 “For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.” Imagine going to a church where they do not want you to ever leave. How many sermons on maturing spiritually so that you can go out and make disciples are you going to hear? Not many, I venture to say, for it would contradict their goal of keeping you there. How many sermons on how your spiritual walk is so totally dependent on them and what they offer you will you hear, that you wouldn’t dare think of ever leaving them? You see, if they want to keep you they have to create a need of them in your life. Hebrews 5:12 “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.” If I can paraphrase You have come to need milk, You are a babe and you are hooked and in need of milk not solid food. Can you see the deviation from the original call? As long as you stay with their milk you will never mature and move on to your higher calling, and that is their aim if they are acting selfishly, for in their mind is the thought of why would we make faithful disciples to go out and plow in somebody else’s field? There is just one field for those of us who believe, the Lord’s field, and it does not matter who on this earth seems to get the credit as long as the great commission is proclaimed to the entire world, as we believers come into the maturity of the faith as one body, under one Lord, Jesus Christ! If I am one of those infants who is hooked to their baby formula, how do I get out of it? Hebrews 6:1-2 “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection (maturity), not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrines of baptism, of laying on hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Everything enumerated in the verses above are doctrinal foundations of Christianity, that is why on verse three he states that: And this we will do if God permits, in other words, that is the message that we are to proclaim to the new converts. But those of you who have already learned the foundational principles need to move on, he said leave that discussion, and move up. If every time you go to church you find that you have to repent all over again every time that you hear a call to repentance, something is wrong, chances are you are hooked to babe’s milk and in need of somebody to lay hands on you and feed you some more formula, or change your spiritual diaper. How do I move up? Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food belongs to those who are full of age (mature), that is, those who by reason of use (practice) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” There is an Old Testament Scripture where God compels those to whom He is speaking to come up higher and to reason together with Him. Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Why don’t we do that right now. Think back to when you were first saved, did God know every sin that you had ever committed and still saved you? He not only knew every sin that we had ever committed and forgave us when we first got saved, but even all those sins that we did not even know we had committed or remembered, He forgave them all as well. As you probably know, God is all knowing; so on that basis let me ask you again, did not God know all your future sins as well and still forgave you when you first got saved? He forgave us of all of our future sins when we first got saved through a mechanism He put in place where we could in the future bring to Him those sins that were yet to be committed by us? 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” So that as Christians when we sin, we do not lose our salvation, we do not have to get saved all over again, we simply confess and acknowledge our sins before Him and He is faithful and just not only to forgive us of the sins that we have perpetrated since our salvation, but He also cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Knowledge and an understanding of this fact will mature you faster than anything that I know, for knowingly or unknowingly those whose aim is to keep you hooked to their baby bottle will always go after the inconsistencies of the flesh in their sermons, to get you back to the basic principles of salvation all over again, to where you will never leave them even if you knew that the Lord had called you, for you would feel so inadequate in your infant mentality. Hebrews 6:4-6 “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.” After the Lord calls us to leave the elementary things behind, things that can be perverted and used by the enemy to stunt our growth, He places the above and very important Scripture to illuminate us into the revelation of the eternity of our salvation that He calls the heavenly gift. Although the above Scripture can be difficult to understand, especially for baby Christians, if you want to grow into maturity you will have to deal with it, that is why the Lord put it there right in the midst of the discussion about immaturity, for it deals with the subject of whether a true believer can lose his/her salvation. Listen carefully, if a born-again believer could lose his/her salvation, that is, if it were possible for a true believer to fall away, then Jesus our Advocate before the Father would be the one that loses the case, and that is contrary to Scripture. John 17:12 “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” One cannot be born again unless he/she is a partaker of the Holy Spirit, and it is during salvation that we first taste of the heavenly gift, it might be milk, but is heavenly milk, the sincere milk of the Word of God, so that we are babes at first, but still babes in Christ the unmovable rock of our salvation. Although we are called to maturity, our salvation does not depend on our maturity for it is a heavenly gift from God. Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” It is fear that keeps many from maturing in the faith, but God’s perfect love casts out all fear. Fear of losing the gift of our salvation has been used against many to keep them bound, and it is still used today to keep many from leaving the herd and fulfilling their call. God did not call us to sit on our blessed assurance, but to become fruitful workers in the kingdom of God, do not let any human control you or your actions, Jesus is the head of the church, and He speaks to us His children daily, all we have to do is to read His Word with a sincere heart and meditate on the truths that the Holy Spirit reveals to us in His Word.
